unlabelledView post →I set out to make a decent custom portrait for Underrail but I made a misstep and now it just looks awkward in-game so I'll just go with the default stuff. At least Samantha looks cool. 😅
unlabelledView post →This game rules and if you haven't heard of it, check out the stream! It's got Underrail vibes but the design is a bit tighter and the writing is more of a focus.
unlabelledView post →Something happened to me and I don't really know how people play more than one game for fun at a time. I'm really psyched for Mina, gonna buy it to show my support, but I got a whole Underrail ahead of me.
unlabelledView post →I have reached the Deep Caverns in Underrail in the end game now. so about 20 more hours left XD
unlabelledView post →Gamers, in about an hour, I'm going to be giving a viewer suggested game a try and starting Underrail! Hope to see you all there!
unlabelledView post →I love Underrail, but anyone who says the end game isnt a overly padded slog is full of shit. ONE dungeon with only 4 SMALL areas needed NINE FUCKING KEYS to finish like holy fucking shit.
unlabelledView post →Going to be doing a new thing called Why Haven't You Played?, where I showcase obscure games. Up first, why haven't you played Underrail? Set in the distant future where the remnants of humanity live underground, Underrail is a classic, Fallout-style CRPG that's as good as the best of the genre. 🧵
unlabelledView post →Underrail eventually beat me, by which I mean I saw credits but only by cheating. It's *such* a good game with *such* a horrible final stretch, it's kind of impressive.
unlabelledView post →#Underrail is considered by many the spiritual successor to the original #Fallout games the game is very brutal and needs players to learn the mechanics in order to progress , but after the harsh difficulty curve lays a great game worth of the spiritual successor title , for all #cRPG fans try it
unlabelledView post →Underrail is so neat and I can never inflict it on Kaye. It's a game that I fully love but would be extremely gun shy about a general recommendation.
unlabelledView post →I have a Steam key to give away for the game UnderRail: https://store.steampowered.com/app/250520/UnderRail/ UnderRail is an old-school turn-based isometric role-playing game that features a large open post-apocalyptic world, deep and challenging combat and an intricate storyline. First come […]
unlabelledView post →An older game, but well worth playing is you never got the chance. I've heard whispers of a sequel in development... #Underrail #rpg #indiegames youtu.be/jtbNqPcvNKs
unlabelledView post →Yup, a good example of this kinda thing outside of exploration puzzle games (or puzzle dungeon crawlers like Legend of Grimrock 2) is Rain World but thats ALSO an action ish game. I loved Underrail cuz it tapped into it too but the dev's some type of far righter 💀
unlabelledView post →Most games have really boring systems for shields. Usually they're just a type of HP that regenerates. Or they have different elemental resistances to other kinds of HP. I think the only game I've played recently that made shields interesting in a way beyond that is Underrail, which did the […]
unlabelledView post →Streaming some UnderRail as a test stream. Playing with the save I started earlier today. Not sure if this will work as an on-stream game, come and let me know what you think as I die repeatedly underneath the rails. (Streaming on twitch and youtube, links below) #indie #CRPG
unlabelledView post →...quest etc" LOTS to keep in mind. Multiple steps to progress. And game doesn't bother to keep track all of that for you. No quest markers. All your doing. Long story short: Underrail is VERY old school formula based. Quite refreshing actually in sea of brainless "follow the marker" experiences.
unlabelledView post →Where as like in Underrail, the game actively encourages you to craft stuff, without also making it necessary to win the game. The resources are usually renewable (from enemies and creatures) and for any missing parts, you can just get it from vendor.
unlabelledView post →If you see this, post four of your favorite video games! - Underrail - Morrowind - Planescape: Torment - Gothic (probably my first rpg ever, formative game for me and the first rpg i've ever beaten)
unlabelledView post →I didn't realize Serbian gamedev is responsible for such strong entries as Scorn and UnderRail! Also that Hannah's Day game I've been seeing in ads on Twitter is local as well 👀 store.steampowered.com/sale/Serbian...
unlabelledView post →Love Fallout 1, but yeah, 2 is my absolute favourite. Gotta replay the series at some point as well. (If you haven't you should check out Underrail, it's an outstanding game inspired by 2d Fallout)
unlabelledView post →Extremely specific to me, but in Underrail, the most important item to my early game success was a helmet that protected me from being stunned from flashbangs. There were three kinds of stun in that game and being immune to even one of them made an impossible fight just really hard.
unlabelledView post →A gift piece from the amazing @cyrras.bsky.social. Inspired by Ethan Landford from one of my favorite game series Underrail. Ethan teaches you Temporal Manipulation psionics, and chronomancy being one of my favorite magic types, a great character to be drawn as.
unlabelledView post →Reminds me of specific guy. In Underrail, a fallout'esq game about a post-apoc metro society, there is a system that dictates that merchants accept items that are relevant to them and in certain quiantites. They just won't accept any trash you try to peddle to them.
unlabelledView post →you should play Underrail then, if you have a spare 65 to 250+ hours to dedicate to it you would really enjoy it. it is kind of Quick-Load The Game but there's so much to it that you can beat the game and not even know 80% of the real lore behind the world and characters
unlabelledView post →I have no idea what I'm doing. I'm thinking handguns, shotguns, grenades and traps and see where this takes me. Expecting to have to restart because I fucked up the base stats or something else critical. (first time playing the game) #UnderRail
unlabelledView post →This implies its not fun though! Or Atleast, not made with the intention of being enjoyable and fun. But it can be fun! If you want to see this idea put to the test (in a game that isnt even centered around puzzles), give Underrail a try. It has a few sparsely paced puzzles that are hard but fair!
unlabelledView post →Underrail is so good. I love that game
unlabelledView post →Somehow Underrail was the first CRPG I ever played and I ended up loving it. Playing Pillars of Eternity (a pretty good game in its own right) after that felt like batting practice against little league pitchers after getting dusted by Nolan Ryan
unlabelledView post →AAAHH finally I was able to beat Underrail, this is my 3rd Character and the first that was able to beat the final boss, this game is torture srsly kids unless you have the same mental defect that makes me like this kind of games don't even try
unlabelledView post →How good a dungeon is is also influenced by how important to the player it is to actually explore it. For a game that makes you want to explore every single inch of everything, check out Underrail with the oddity XP system, it ties progression to exploration successfully.
unlabelledView post →Thinking about doing a stream tonight if folks are interested! Thinking about doing either UnderRail which I picked up recently, more Schedule I shenanigans, or maybe poking at another game I haven't touched in a hot minute!
unlabelledView post →I'll never stop being thankful that Sseth made a video covering UnderRail, because it's what got me to try the game in the first place. 750+ hours and several runs later, I'm super hyped for when UnderRail 2 is finally done! Still gotta fully plan out a genocide challenge run...
unlabelledView post →Underrail maybe? I haven't played it yet myself, it's on the backlog for years store.steampowered.com/app/250520/U...
unlabelledView post →Taking heavy inspiration from classics like Fallout 1 and 2, Underrail tries, and mostly succeeds, to be more realistic and involved than those games while still being accessible and playable. Be sure to check out the DLC as well, they're cheap and add a ton of new stuff to the game.
unlabelledView post →Yeah while the game is good , mod support would help the longevity of the game a lot just like the TES and STALKER series, not allowing mods for that reason is a bit silly but lets hope they will not make the same mistake with the second Underrail game
unlabelledView post →Yeah as someone with multiple Dominating! playthroughs of Underrail, I'm positive for the change. I have been following the original game long enough to know that it may take a few years of balance after release, though. It may be rough on launch
unlabelledView post →Encased is also a very cool crpg didn't grip me as much as Wasteland 3 another very underrated game is Underrail
unlabelledView post →I'd like a new game in the series that just plays like 2 honestly! I think for my CRPG fix Underrail is a good substitute and Rogue Trader is great, the combat is okay I kinda prefer the dialogue sections a lot more.
unlabelledView post →store.steampowered.com/app/250520/U... Do you like Fallout 2? Do you like slavjank games like Stalker? Then UnderRail is the game for you. I've played a solid 600 hours in it, and I still get the urge to go back. It's brutal, punishing as hell, but it never compromises on its story and vision
unlabelledView post →Underrail is a sick ass game, I love some isometric rpgs.
unlabelledView post →I just started UnderRail again and learned the dev's spiteful wrath towards mods means there are only like 4 mods for this game
unlabelledView post →For me i think it was Stalker shadow of Chernobyl at first. I played that game before i was in my teens (i think), and i loved it even when it scared me and was hard. Then it was Underrail. Not my first attempt at underrail but my 2nd or 3rd is where it clicked and i became enthralled by it.
unlabelledView post →The ending stretch is a miserable slog, yeah. It just about soured me on my first playthrough. Second playthrough I just looked everything up. Ain't no shame in it. Did you play through Expedition? That's my Phantom Liberty for Underrail - a distillation of all the best parts of the base game.
unlabelledView post →Still working my way through Underrail, the longest game of all time, so long it would be impossible to do for WOFF almost.
unlabelledView post →I know. People call various games "Fallout clone", like Underrail, but then you check it out and it's a completely different kind of game. I know one proper clone though, Encased. It's not a masterpiece, but it's pretty good.
unlabelledView post →Insanely overrated. Good game. Good, like, cosmic socio/political narrative. But hey my fav was fallout 2 and thats just fifty pop culture references in a trenchcoat, and about 30 hours of bloat. The bethesda ones were ok... but the best recent fallout game is Underrail and i will die on this hill
unlabelledView post →But don't complain about it, they *will* screenshot you, post it in the Discord & tell their Nazi lickspittles "Here's another faggot daring to play my game (and worse, play it ***the wrong way***), go harass them for days please!" so, actually, turns out UnderRail is super based and epic har har.
unlabelledView post →It might be because iv just played a English localised Dragon Quest game and that's throwing me off but damn UnderRail is well written. Despite hitting you with some big text dumps it all feels good to read whereas trying to parse a DQ script leaves me exhausted.
unlabelledView post →Fallout Inspired RPGs - UnderRail 2: Infusion and ATOM RPG www.youtube.com/watch?v=931a...
unlabelledView post →Stygian Software has set up a steam page for #Underrail 2 Infusion and released a 10-minute Alpha gameplay video. It looks so much better than the first game. I'm hyyped! https://store.steampowered.com/app/694320/UnderRail_2_Infusion/ #gaming #videogames
unlabelledView post →I was wanting to play the new UnderRail game.. but turns out the creator is a piece of shit.. homophobic, transphobic, racist, you name it.. and the Discord? Full of people with the same views. Avoid this game.
unlabelledView post →Underrail is such a good game!!!
unlabelledView post →Alright, stream is live! I'm just getting a drink and warming up before getting started proper, and I think I'm going to do a bit of UnderRail today! Depending on how things go I might pivot over to a different game afterwards, we'll see! twitch.tv/chaztargrin
unlabelledView post →Underrail is my favorite game with Some Fuckin Buuuuulllshit in it, to be sure
unlabelledView post →Day 128: From the game Underrail.
unlabelledView post →Absolutely true, but I do love crafting sometimes. A game called Underrail did it well, and sometimes a maintainence mechanic works well, as long as it's not constant. Maybe crafting mechanics can be refined so that it only goes so far as visual customisation, or poorer imitations of consumables.
unlabelledView post →Arx Fatalis + Dragon Age: Origins would probably result in an Underrail style fantasy game.
unlabelledView post →Depends on the game. I would definitely replay something like Fallout: NV, Cyberpunk 2077, Underrail and the likes of those, where you have high replaybility thanks to wide variety of builds, branching story lines and side quests. Ability to align with different factions also a plus.
unlabelledView post →Just for the record: I am not defending game. I am sure it's VERY "old school" (aka infuriating) in some place. That's pretty much what should be expected from indies of that kind. For example, Underrail, which I recommend, is good, but not walk in the park either. For the same reasons.
