[Early Access] Simple but very thoughtful, fun and challenging connecting puzzle game, that is themed on electrical circuits. Several machine gimmicks make you troubled. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was good up until the point when puzzles had to be solved under time pressure
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: I enjoyed this and can definitely recommend it, although it is in quite an early stage of development and only offers 1-2 hours of gameplay at present. If you are on the fence, the developer has a demo on Itch which is representative of the full game. I've really enjoyed my time with Trans Neuronica so far, as brief as it has been. Currently in Early Access, it has around 60 levels, all of which show great promise for the game's future potential. The puzzles involve connecting matching…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda boring TBH. The puzzles felt more like a chore than a fun thing to do. Destroying lines that you've placed is such a core part of the gameplay and yet it feels so tedious to do. And often when you do delete a line, its frustratingly easy to accidentally wipe a whole node that is next to it. I got past to the multi-line CPU section and gave up through boredom.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember those fake mobile game commercials which determine your IQ based on how you connect dots without crossing the lines? Well, this is the real thing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A truly interesting game that deserves to be more known. Level design is excellent, and as long as you are ok with the concept of disconnecting and reconnecting paths (something that some players found a bit controversial) I'm sure that you will enjoy this game. I will add that graphically is very pleasant, and it also features some options to disable animations for those who find the backgrounds distracting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a big puzzle game enthusiast, but unfortunately, this one wasn't for me. I think the puzzle concept was pretty fun, and I liked the art style, but at the same time, I wasn't a huge fan of a couple of things in this game: - The scenario where the user is chatting with an AI on the fritz - How puzzles unlock in stages and changing your paths sometimes require undoing connections, which resets parts of the stage and undoing progress. - I got to the boss stage with the "power nexus" and just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR: there just aren't enough puzzles. Wait for the game to be more complete before buying. I enjoy these kind of line puzzles, and this is overall a fun game. However, it needs more puzzles. The first two zones are well fleshed out with 17 and 13 puzzles, respectively. But the remaining four zones each have only 1-6 puzzles. Maybe this is because the game is in early access, with more content on the way, but it's unclear. The last mechanic introduced was only used in one puzzle! Either way,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →50+ levels to blow your mind. Quite interesting and challenging. Looking forward to playing some more levels when they are done :D Thanks, Evidently Cube! P.S. Well, v.1.0 is here
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique take on the connection puzzle, the one mechanic twist that really makes it stand out for me is a level shifting or opening up more as you connect the nodes. Trying to carefully rearrange the wires in such a way that they allow for connecting a new node and no connection is broken in the process expands the mechanical depth of every other rule nicely, though it does become a problem in the "boss levels" of Trans Neuronica. Those require you to solve the level with a time constraint as it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very interesting puzzle game. I also recommend checking out the free game called ABI-DOS, which has some similarities.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →These are some fun levels in #TransNeuronica #indiegame #puzzlegame
unlabelledView post →Love this game. I've been playing Flow Free and another puzzle games so I really enjoy this one. There's pure love in this development. Great job!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good. Still Early Access so there's more content to come, I had a blast playing what's there and look forward to the rest. The music is a real bop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Possibly the most juicy puzzle game I've played. It's quite short right now in Early Access but I didn't care at all, I had a blast.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trans Neuronica (from Evidently Cube): This game is a really good take on the "Flow-like" genre, especially with the sequenced solving and boss battles. And thanks a lot for putting an accessibility option with the timer ! It was really useful for me.
unlabelledView post →Great Pathing puzzle game with an interesting premise. If you like pathing puzzles with advanced mechanics, check it out!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Carefully crafted and beautifully made game, however the puzzles became way too like a chore after some time, requiring you to brute force your way out which killed the fun for me.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat, short puzzle game with a wonderful soundtrack and atmosphere. I would presently call it unfinished, however. Here are the three things I was left most wanting that I would like to see in a completed version: Puzzle design: Certain gimmicks lend themselves to cool solutions at the expense of a cool solving process by repeatedly forcing the player to see the one thing that works. It's extremely rare in these puzzles that there would be even one wrong option the player could take and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love puzzle games. I've completed the first 30 levels and find the puzzles an enjoyable time of drawing and removing paths to complete circuits. I have now finished the game. Overall enjoyable game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good puzzle-y game, definitely a solid start for an early access title. Looking forward to where it goes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trans Neuronica robi coś, co nie udaje się wielu grom logicznym: jest emocjonująca. Polecam!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very clever game with a fatal flaw of being overly, needlessly picky about how you interact with its puzzles. The game is a line or path drawing puzzle with a few familiar twists about how nodes need to be connected, i.e., things that just need to be connected to the same color/symbol, things that need to be connected in a loop (no forks), things that need to be connected in parallel, etc., plus a few of their own clever twists. Without spoilers, one of the main twists is that many of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →classic idea with some fun twists and a story to follow. there are some timed levels, but nothing I couldn't tackle so far nice coffee-break game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EDIT: Found the option, was already implemented. Very good - i'm still old, bnut now i can spend as much time as i want! Why the holy f*ck are there time limits on the boss levels?! To explain the problem on this: You're starting small in a boss level with a tiny and mostly easy problem you need to solve (of course!). After solving it, the game state enhanced and offers a second puzzle, slightly harder than the puzzle before. This goes on for about 5 to 10 puzzles. Every tiny puzzle has an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Later Levels are so hard Fun puzzle game tho, the music, the way everything clicked when you get it right, the sound design are so good (for a pure puzzle game, and a bit of story)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clunky marvelous.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just a another puzzle game that doesn't really do anything different, the core gameplay is fun for the first couple of puzzles but then you get to the 2nd world and are spending half the time deleting old connections, which is a part of the core game design, but it just feels tedious and not really fun. The music, graphics and aesthetics are very nice though, I think anyone could get a fun half an hour out of it but beyond that it falls flat.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome puzzle game. The music is kinda cool. My biggest complaint (a small one) is about time limit levels, where I honestly recommend to use the settings and give yourself more time. At least for me, default speed doesn't really allow enough time to think about the hardest sections . Having to repeat the parts of the level I already know a lot of times is very annoying. Overall, I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the puzzles,
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't play puzzle games due to how difficult they are (and how null my brain is). But this one is special! Trans Neuronica is balanced when it comes to difficulty and has a great story with a pixelised soundtrack. I love the ways of getting its acheivements, and the campaigns are spectacular (I had some problems with the Prelude campaign but it's nice) I would ABSOULETLY recommend getting this game. One of the best puzzle games I have ever purchased.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is far and away my favorite version of this puzzle type! Highly recommend finding and completing the tutorial before starting in on the main story as it explains how to erase stuff far better than the main game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game, it's both relaxing and challenging.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cool, smart and promising little puzzle game. The retro style, minimalist pixel art is great and fits the cyberpunk aesthetics. And so do the electronica tunes, very nice. I appreciate the (uncharacteristic for this genre) story that binds the levels together.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really interesting twist on the "numberlink" puzzle type: you're trying to connect matching colored squares, but as you make connections more of the level unlocks, so you have to make more connections while preserving the ones you've already made. I can't really say much about the story because I played in Early Access so I got half of the story then and half of the story on full release, but the puzzles were enough for me to recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great puzzle game. Introduction of new mechanics comes at a good pace, and you have the freedom to experiment. Controls are super tight. The boss levels have a timer by default; there are options for extended timers as well as no timers that I eventually turned on once the bosses got harder.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first I was a little perplexed; on the surface this looked like that phone app, Flow, with connected the nodes puzzles. And it's definitely that. But so, so much more. These puzzles were awesome! The ah-ha moments just keep coming. Mechanics are great, music is great, art is great, aesthetics are great. Well done all around. You should check it out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A unique and interesting puzzle, at first everything is very easy and simple, but gradually new mechanics are added and the levels become more and more difficult. You can spend quite a lot of time on some of them. There are even boss levels with a timer, fortunately it can be turned off. Beautiful graphics and design. There is support for user companies, but unfortunately there is no support for Steam Workshop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great puzzle game - simple mechanics that compound into complex puzzles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has made me bounce between feeling like I have rocks for brains to a genius and back, to having rocks for brains. Some of the puzzles felt straight forward and relatively simple to complete. Then you'll hit a complex puzzle that requires time and thought. Often left the game for an evening and came back with fresh eyes. The dev has made changes to puzzles over the course of early access and it's entirely possible they will do so again. If found this out when I checked old video guides…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun puzzler, deceptively simple rules, but some stages are surprisingly hard to figure out. Not a big fan of the timed "boss stages", but timer can be disabled in the menu. Very good soundtrack, but each stage features only one track, which will get annoying when you are stuck, so a bit more variety would be nice. Kudos to the developer to also integrate a story into this, but I'm afraid i must agree with other comments here that it's neither necessary nor really understandable what is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A game recommended by buried-treasure. Oddly enough, this game actually has a "story" Hard to believe, I know..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice simple game that requires logic and sjarp thinking! Game gives an impression that there will be more levels and story line added in the future! Thanks to the developers for their work and time!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fun If you enjoy puzzle games and have a lot of patience for trial and error. The soundtrack is great too! The game says it's meant to be played with the timer on but you can turn it off if you want a more relaxing run through the game. Some of the time boss puzzles are very hard to complete on the time given or if you don't do well under pressure. Also there are no achievements for completing the game with the timer on. On E2 boss stage I think there are some bottlenecks that if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Trans Neuronica is on sale. It's a fascinating puzzle game that takes simple connection puzzles as a base, but then adds tons of extra rules and quirks and nuances and timed sections; even a story with choices and boss fights. Wow.
unlabelledView post →I'm terrible at puzzle games, but I can see myself making some progress here, so that's a win in my book. Very well-designed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Puzzle games have never been my thing, but i really like Trans Neuronica. I enjoy the variety of levels and the number of them at this game stage. In addition, playing Trans Neuronica is challenging however it does not make the player feel frustrated. I had a great time and looking forward to play more. I highly recommend it to all fans of puzzle games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite a good puzzler. Not too easy, not too difficult. The background visuals could be nicer though.
