positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The 2v2 matches are great. Nothing feels better then, being down by one point with only 30 second left on the clock. Then making a lucky kick to tie the game and win it in over time. The character and background art are great and fit the light hearted but epic battles that occur in each kick ball match.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't find any match online. Gameplay is good, but bots are stupid and annoying
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →how can you sell for 20 bucks a game that doesn't even work properly. The imput lag makes the game unplayable. the game is annoying right after 3 minutes. also there are literally no players. don't sell a game that doesn't work FOR 20 BUCKS

Remember how you thought "gee, this is awesome, but I wish someone made a whole game around this". Well, this is pretty damn close, and I'd argue, even better at times! KungFu Kickball is one of the best local-multiplayer games I've played in years. The core gameplay is so much fun. A typical game is 3 minutes but I could play dozens of them in a single session. This is one of those games that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played the dickens out of this game at the arcade and despite being officially banned from tournament play I will still confess that this is one of the most fun multiplayer experiences I have had in videogames. It's very easy to pick up and has the depth to keep me coming back. Highly recommended if you're into emergent sports/combat games like smash, rivals, lethal league
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game... IS THE BEST MULTIPLAYER NON-TOXIC COMMUNITY FUN GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED. yea now that i think about it that kinda sounds like im a bot. but bot or not its still a good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the server lag makes the whole game unplayable
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is fun as hell, it just needs a larger community and desperately needs private match making
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game since, like, alpha at PlayNYC 2018 or something. Honestly it's really fun, just wish that the price was a bit lower for my friends to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have played the everliving hell out of this game at various conventions, playtest events, and even on its arcade cabinet in Brooklyn. So excited to finally have a copy of my very own so I can dragoon all my friends into playing with me!! A perfect game for high-octane, competitive fun on a game night. Ezpz to pick up, difficult to master. 10/10 recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun casual yet challenging game. the controls are intuitive (i picked them up immediately), but there are also special controls you need to learn on your own, which adds depth. for example, you can fast fall, slide, down-smash, and up-smash (to use smash-terms). there is more. similar to Rocket League, the floaty-ness and overall lack of control takes awhile to get used to. but when you do, it's fun. you can do couch co-op, online, and against A.I. there are other modes too. sadly, there…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game entirely focused on the concept of smash X rocket league. Game play and mechanics are smooth and overall feels very polished. Downsides of the game however, is little to no online matchmaking due to the tiny player base as well as the bots being stupid at times, to at worst, downright infuriating. Overall, definitely worth a buy if you're a smash or rocket league enthusiast, and even if not, give it a go, the game is surprisingly fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have you ever played dodgeball in gym class and thought “Man, what would it be like to have Keanu Reeves on my team?” Or been watching a martial arts movie and thought, “Wow, these guys would be sick at dodgeball.” Well, now you can experience that in a video game. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one mario party minigame for 20$ gameplay wise its ok... really not much here its got local co-op and online no story mode or anything else gameplay past 15 minutes is afk card farming
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →KungFu Kickball is a console ported 2D retro pixel (most avid review readers, at this point, will already know all they need to know about this crapware) fighter/versus/PvP arena brawler with a twist... alongside the dumbed down and limited fighting controls (no combos or anything interesting like that), you have to bash a ball around and ring a bell to score points instead of just pummelling the AI into the ground. I say AI because botmatching is all you can do in the game... the quality is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My son and I tried this game for the first time yesterday, and for the first couple of minutes we were confused. We were expecting something easier to control. The jumping, kicking/punching mechanic felt strange for a little while, and during those few minutes I was seriously considering if I had made the right choice buying this game. Then, after a couple of rounds it all started making sense and, although none of us feel like "experts" at this game right now, we are now much more used to the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is fast, furious, and my team was a good family 7/10 - vin deisel
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →weird wobbly controls, no way to adjust the resolution (apart from one option to stretch it), had to refund
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game, so much fun, we never seem to get tired of it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →short, fun games, nice levels, art, animations and action are all great. The gameplay is pretty simple, but to really be good at the game, your inputs have to be precise and well timed and you have to constantly make choices whether to attack the opponent or the ball and how. The pacing of the gameplay is quick and the tide of the game can change in seconds, so remember to pay attention. The only breather you get is the few seconds between rounds. I imagine this to be a really fun game to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Pros: - Cute characters. - Snappy punchy action, its high energy and fun - Seems designed for multiplayer but is also fun solo (this is how I played) - Great dev is engaged with the community and continues to support the game. Cons: - 🤷
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game, I just played it online with a few friends. Everything worked, we had a good time and a good laugh. The music and art is really cool. It's got the 70s kung fu movie vibe and cartoony. We played all of the levels, and they offer a surprising good variety of gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kungfu Kickball is on sale. It's an exciting and fun sports/fighting game. Use martial arts to ring your opponents goal bell with the ball. There are no fouls here, go WILD. Intense and challenging. store.playstation.com/en-us/produc...

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wonky physics, crazy interactions, and quirky easter eggs that look all too familiar. What else could you want in a game where you live out your own Kung Fu Movie? 10/10 Worth every penny
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not bad, but not my type. ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty great. I like the art style and its pretty fun to kill some time. Disclaimer: I am friends with the developer (I purchased my own copy)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great balance of casual and competitive fun. It's the perfect game to play with a group of friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yooo this game is so much fun! Love the characters and the music! You can beat up your friends or play by yourself, can't wait to try tournament stuff!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun game, especially when playing with friends! Never realized that I wanted to play a fighting game and sporty-ball at the same time!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a blast playing remote play with friends. Character designs are hilarious and charming. Excited for more updates.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun times, can't wait to play with friends on a couch!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game rocks. Can't wait to do tournaments!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is super fun! Its a mix of Smash Bros and Rocket League. There's funny characters, swanky music, cool levels and multiplayer support! Right now you can only play randos but better multiplayer support is coming. Steam Remote Play works too. You can also play in single player mode and even train against AI. Can't wait for more updates!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game... is delightful. It is a hardcore fighting game between friends without the fighting. I'm so sad to see this enjoyable and idiosyncratic game fall amiss amongst so many odd titles on Steam that have come to reign supreme over the years. If you'd like an excuse to bicker amongst your friends who kicked the gawrsh darn ball the hardest. This is your game. Fully recommended. 10/10. They can't all succeed. It seems....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Online didnt work. Buddy played it at magfest and hyped it up.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! Me and my friends love booting this up together! Although it can be hard to find a match, you can ask people in the official discord to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Criminally underrated! Perfect for shared-screen gamer night or a quick sesh on the Deck. I've played way more than 2 hours btw, just at the homie's pad. The gameplay is impressively tight, often leading to some insanely intense interactions or unbelievable come-back wins. Single player can be very enjoyable, ranging from pleasantly casual to possible rage-quitting depending on how much you'd like to challenge yourself. There are 5 playable characters (+ 3 unlockable ones). Each plays with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game! It's easy to pick up, but I can already tell there's a lot of depth to it. It's kinda like if Rocket League and Smash Bros had a baby! The music is dope, the character design is great, what's not to love?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this in the arcade. Super fun game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game! Best played in the same room with friends
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reeaaaally fun game to play with friends. Something about the stress of getting knocked out while the other team kicks the ball towards your bell keeps me hooked. It's a perfect game for 2 or 4 players. The single player arcade mode is okay as well, but the AI definitely feels wonky. Overall it's a perfect mix of fighting and soccer thats perfect for couch co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, best with friends. I've played a lot more KungFu Kickball than my Steam playtime would suggest including taking first in a tournament at a game convention, and will be happy to play more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →needs more attention, good game for a squad but to expensive, got it from a bundle for (every other game excluded) 0,60€ and i feel like its worth it. but i realy can't recommend a price when you should buy, just never buy for fullprice
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game, just takes time to find online games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is easy to play, difficult to master. The hard mode AI is vicious; don't give an inch 'cause they'll take a mile. Fun to play with friends. Don't bother wasting a special knocking down your opponent, they won't stay down any longer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing couch game to play with family and friends, very entertaining and funny 10/10 for what it propose. Its a pitty it didn't get attention it derserved. Hidden Gem for people that are looking for local multiplayer/co-op.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game but buy on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely suck at this game and I rage every time I play it but it's really good fun with friends so I have to recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and frantic when played with friends via remote play! I just wish it allowed the option for 3vs3. Hopefully something the devs will consider.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this at MAGfest 2020 and it's still a lot of fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A sports game in which you play as monks who need to do fancy (mostly) aerial moves in order to get a ball to hit their opponent's bell. It's basically a combination of soccer and basketball and works shockingly well as a 1v1 or 2v2 sport. Goals are consistently satisfying and the higher level AIs can put up a real fight that makes them exceptionally satisfying to finally take down. Add in solid stage variety and a good number of local multiplayer modes and you've got yourself a great couch…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The good - * Immediately accessible * It has bots so you're not coming to the multiplayer party with a game you aren't sure is good. * It lets you practice while you're search for a quick game and has a QR 'discord me' link while you do it. * Super satisfying to hit that ball. * 'teleport' lets you hop quickly enough that as a 1v1 that you can play both defense and offense. * Pleasant sports experience. I like the sports games, but I don't want to have to quit my job and study full-time to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this originally as an arcade game at a barcade in Beacon. It's fun as hell. I love that you can either fight or play kickball. I just unlocked GrandMaster mode! My only complaint is the voiceovers including how they interrupt the soundtrack in the background. I mute them, but that also takes away the bonus commentary that pops up on the screen. So then I mute the whole game, but I like to hear the sfx and the BGM....... Ah yes its a vicious cycle. Seriously though, this game kicks ass.
