60 of 161 · most liked firstThey removed split-screen, the thing that I used the most. Just because they can... if you look it up they did this few years ago in a small update where they said "temporarily disabling it" well guess what they disabled it permanently because they want you to buy more copies so you play over LAN/net. I'm rating this negative and will ask for a refund, also GO F*** YOURSELF UBISOFT
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TrackMania 2: Canyon is excellent in my opinion, which is easily justified thanks to the introduction of ManiaPlanet. The whole is still full of crazy stunts and the necessary puzzles, which can make veterans go crazy. Audiovisually, TrackMania 2 has improved considerably and that greatly enhances the experience. At least I'll be sweet again in the coming years... The game also works great on the steam deck: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P0ICWNWrCrs The tracks are very diverse. One track is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game, hate the account management. I bought this game years ago, played it, and then I lost access to the maniaplanet account because my email-address was shut down no warning (that mistake is on me). Problem is, Neither Steam og Ubisoft is willing to help me get the game to play. Because: The game-key I bought from steam is linked to the inaccessible maniaplanet account. I can make a new maniaplanet account, but then I have no game-key. Steam won't let me buy another game key,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game years ago, and wanted to restart after seeing some of the new TrackMania scene. Welp, my account no longer exists, I have no "key", and the title is literally unplayable thanks to Nadeo's bizarre and vastly hostile ManiaPlanet app. I paid for a product that I can no longer access. In attempting to unravel this mess, I had to look up details on Steam (my purchase platform, and one which refused to help), then download a ManiaPlanet app to my PC, then scuttle over to UbiSoft and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game by Nadeo, afwul service by ubisoft were you have to conect to their server EVERY time you login, even if you want to play alone on the original tracks, so if the servers go down or your internet is down you cant play it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not buy or play Ubisoft games again. This is a response after Ubisoft revoked players "The Crew" license from their libraries.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Evil ubisoft scammers stole my license to the game and are holding it hostage, even with original proof of purchase. Password to unnecessary secondary Ubisoft account mysteriously changed and they refuse to recover, not bullshitting.. Unfortunately... Worst publisher in the business. Common issue if you read around.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best arcade racer with mind bending levels. SImple controls with great physics and mutlitude of different tracks. High challenge and get high basically.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great, but I'm leaving a dislike because I'm sick and tired of the useless ManiaPlanet launcher. It's slow, it's a hindrance to 99.99% of users, so Narrow/Ubisoft, get *ucking rid of it!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Funny story, I managed to nail a skip on one of the levels a while back which propelled me to the number four spot on my backwater, irrelevant coutry's leaderboard. What I'm trying to say is,heh, I'm kind of a big deal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ubisoft dont respect consumers rights anymore, they think they can override this with EULA. They can't in Australia
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately with the move to ManiaPlanet 4 I can no longer access this game. The reset password link doesn't work, and creating a new account on ManiaPlanet won't allow me to associate my Steam CD Key. I have emailed Ubisoft support directly for assistance but have received none.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Forgot password so i did forgot password, Got the email try click the link and boom "The activation key you supplied does not match any in the database." Love Wasting money on games and cant Play it again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bring back splitscreen!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WTF is Mania Planet and why does it suck so much ass?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe I did get something wrong, but after installing "TrackMania2 Canyon", create an extra account in game and download multiple extra files I somehow ended up in an arena shooter looking like it was 2000 all over again. WTF?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was unable to play because the "hub" couldn't download content.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only trackmania worth playing and was amazing was trackmania sunrise but now is unplayable on windows 10 and not available digitally.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Invasive and buggy account setup, which was not advertised on the Steam page. Can't actually connect to the servers even with an account.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's Trackmania, Europe's best kept secret. No other racing franchise compares. This particular TM2 outing is easily the best of the 4 environments of TM2. The drifting mechanics alone make it a blast to play and that's even before you factor in the many well designed tracks on offer. You won't go wrong with this game or any of the other version of TM2 ( I still need to really dig into Lagoon to give it a fair shake but I know there's fun to be had there too). It's a shame TM2020 is a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still worth playing in 2025. Tiny but incredibly active community pumping out tons of high-quality tracks. Access to all the TMUF cars plus the the Canyon, Lagoon, and Valley cars, with full-on community campaigns for Snow, Desert, and Island. Definitely worth picking up if you want a change of pace from the minimalism of TM2020.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here I will leave the cat, whoever pass by can pet it and give it a thumbs up (I need Steam Points) Please. Thank you. /> フ | _ _ l /` ミ_xノ / | / ヽ ノ │ | | | / ̄| | | | | ( ̄ヽ__ヽ_)__) \二つ
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is still Alive. (Online Servers as well) Driving in Canyon is fun enough to keep coming back. Content Activity (community) is still ongoing but not through steam workshop. You have to search for "Trackmania 2 Exchange" Edit: Still valid on 18/03/2026
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TrackMania 235 What I Liked It's a TrackMania game. The racing is good, track design good, it's all good for a TrackMania game. What I Did Not Like It's like every other TrackMania game. It's not revolutionary. Why I Stopped Playing Already played TrackMania a lot. While there is some new things here, it really wasn't enough for me to keep playing. Disclaimer I have been a gamer for over 30 years. I tend to play mostly PC games. I also bounce around between games A LOT. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Came back for nostalgia, and they added something called ManiaPlanet which basically quite literally killed the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here we go!! It's going to be a scuffed and casual stream tonight as @obelisktd.bsky.social and I drive around the countryside in TrackMania²: Canyon! It's been years since I played this game, but I'm hoping it'll all come back to me once I'm behind the wheel! www.twitch.tv/vivian_ruhig
unlabelledView post →Fun, fast, challenging, easy to pick, tough to master, simple and efficient all around ! Great game ! And still to this day ! Aged like fine wine ! 2010's Trilogy: Stadium > Valley > Canyon. In my opinion
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →slidddddddddddddde. Easiest and therefore a little boring environment, but fun tracks
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best TrackMania without TrackMania Cars = TrackMania² Canyon
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best TrackMania.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are racing games… and then there is Trackmania 2 Canyon, a masterpiece that doesn’t just entertain—it absorbs you, challenges you, and reminds you why you fell in love with games in the first place. From the moment the car hits the sun-drenched canyon roads, every second becomes a test of precision, reflexes, and pure adrenaline. This isn’t about realistic driving or simulated physics—this is high-speed art, a dance between you, gravity, and the razor-thin margin between perfection and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick Score: 5/5 Notes: One of the best trackmania games. The car controls quite a bit different from stadium/nations, but is fairly intuitive. The entire game is extremely high speed and involves constantly drifting. There are a couple pretty frustrating stages, but in general the game is just extremely fun to play and doesn't really have any annoying surfaces/gimmicks. My tier list for the trackmania games. (Not including 2020) This is only in regards to the experience of going for the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique environment that still holds up visually and in gameplay in 2023. Lot of focus on drifting and precision driving in this campaign. the drifting feels reasonably good. I'd say drifting feels a bit better than stadium drifting, very satisfying. Unique TM2 game that stands out perhaps the most of the 4 as a good one to try.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the games ever made
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Return of the legendary racing game with unrealistic speed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UNABLE TO LOAD Game - SOLUTION OFFERED>>> after an absence of a couple of years I go play game & Ubisoft now no longer recognises my steam keycode. I've given up.... So for any others... I went back it it's origins "TrackMania Forever" online website, used my old user/password & guess what... straight back into with a welcome screen stating... "It's your first connection in 4,022 days. We gave you 500 coppers to make a new start in the game. Welcome back to Trackmania!"... amazing... The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still remember looking back to this in 2014 and admitting that I will never have the money nor the specs to play it. Years later, the inner kid was fulfilled. The game is fun but not as much as the OGs.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i only came here to state that trackmania united forever, trackmania² stadium, trackmania² canyon, trackmania² valley and even trackmania turbo are worth their money, are more fun, last longer and give you unbelieveable content (downloads will blow your mind), great sounds and soundtracks for the money you wont get with trackmania free to play at all (game looks and sounds even worse) long story short: stay away from trackmania free to play (lol it rhymes...) would buy trackmania united…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I definitely prefer the driving physics of Canyon to Stadium. Most satisfying drifting in a racing game this side of Ridge Racer. EDIT: This is totally playable on Deck, no extra work necessary. No idea why it's marked Unsupported.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast to pick up when you're short on time, fun to play and master easy to just try and try again after running into one funny looking rock
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game to jump on and kill some time with friends or on your own. Thumbs up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →All Track Mania tracks are great. Short races mean a good release of stress with little time commitment. Wanna race deeper, it's there too with online matches.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Potentially my favourite TM2 environment.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →car go vroom vroom haha
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →car go vroom vroom
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game. Although you must know that you will play more than 95% just a simple time attack game... Alone. There is also a lap mode but it's God awful... Who thought playing a boring map for up to 10 laps that amount up to 10 minutes? IN ALL THREE GAMES??? WHAT THE FK IS THIS!? But at the end of the day, Canyon is my favorite of all the three (my ranking would be 1.Canyon 2. Stadium/Stadia? 3. Valley and as for Lagoon, I didn’t play it yet). The driving feels perfect for an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →only if you get the car version not dirt
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →buy litterally any other racing game, these games suck
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Man this game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ good when you are sliding, the car just glides along in such a controllable and satisfying way. Open platform maps are REALLY fun. But the precision and country road obliterate the score for this game. The car when you aren't sliding feels like it has like 400ms input latency, but only half the time, the other half is fine, this makes the steering feel SUPER bad and inconsistent. But man when you are sliding this game HITS. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun racing game for players who seek a skill based game that's easy to get into but almost impossible to master. Pros: + decent graphics and high performance + cheap + leaderboards with aggregate and per-track rankings by region/country/continent/world + thousands of fun community tracks and custom track editor + quite fun drift mechanics, thoguh quite simple and straightforward + different road types (though a bit limited) Cons: - multiplayer experience is a bit limited, servers have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I also drive, fast
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very drifting focused Trackmania environment with mostly wide roads (but also a set of faily narrow ones). If you like controlling long drifts, this game is for you. Solo campaign is pretty outdated though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic competitive racing game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best thing since V-Rally and Test Drive on the PlayStation 1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best driving game ever made
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You jam some tracks and have fun. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant game. Tracks are crazy like Scalextric and good graphics. The custom made tracks are even crazier. You might find yourself restarting the race (in single player mode) hundreds of times chasing that perfect score. Setting "official" times on the online leader board (from what I remember) can only be done every like 4 minutes or something which is annoying because you only have a limited time to have your go. But I like it, I like getting the fastest times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Skill issue opinion but I don't enjoy this ngl. So many roads are ridiculously tights for drifting i feel like you're just being set up to constantly crash unless you're really precise. Plus I don't really know how to put it into words but the car feels quite weird to drive unless you're drifting, its a bit sluggish almost, but sometimes it seems to snap and react more sensitive than usual when im getting into a noslide from a drift. The drifting itself does however feel really good, so the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The most fun online high speed short course drifting game where you race everyone for the best track time. Super addicting and Trackmania at its best.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10 years after, this is still my favorite racing game. Drifting experience in fullspeed tracks has never been even approached by any other game, at least in my personal experience. Graphically speaking it didn't age badly, it's still nice for the eyes. Ho, and did I mention drifting ?
