When you click and hold with left mouse button, the character will attack using basic attack without interruption. But in this third title, for each attack it is necessary a click. It's ridiculous! If you have 500,000 monsters to kill in the campaign, you will have to use 500,000 clicks. There is no option to change the default attack form.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1. The game is unballanced with its skill system 2. Resets the levels from the previous games making it even more hard/unballanced - I finished I (30 hours) it was something new but ok - II it was an evolution of the first but ok too (20 hours) - This one I uninstalled after 7 hours
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow, I bought this on sale and never played it for a year. I started playing it and was like "Oh, another Diabloclone". And then.. I got to see the character interactions. If you want to relax by punishing hordes of monsters while picking up shiny loot, and you don't want complicated builds or thinking which item is better, all the while being blown away by the hilarious dialogues between characters - take it. You will absolutely adore this. I know I did.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The first Van Helsing game i played all the way through . Fairly decent.. Gonna Try the other games to compare ..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gameplay is pretty bad, movement feels floaty, combat & abilites are clunky. Class & ability design is awful. A downgrade compared to the previous games in every way imagiable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you love VH1 and VH2, you'll love this one. You'll get the usual Torchlight game-play but in a unique, less cartoony setting. Also, I played this after playing VH Final Cut. It's pretty much the same as VH Final Cut. But honestly I liked playing the individual games rather than play the Final Cut version where they put all 3 games in one. The individual games are self-contained, and have a bit of difference between each game. In the Final Cut version they removed those individual…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't enjoy the game, I don't recommend the game. First two episodes were already average slashers with shallow plot, but the gameplay was giving a lot of joy - well designed maps, enemies and difficulty balance. Van Helsing 3 is cutting every possible corner bringing the quality of the final product down. Producers decided to keep year-to-year release date and by changing the whole skill tree and multiplayer balance they didn't give the team time to work on single player campaign. It can…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Final chapter in an interesting isometric action RPG trilogy. Game not that bad like people say but some truly bizarre changes that can leave a negative impression. Can recommend it if you liked previous two games. Pros: - Cool locations design; - Decent voice acting and soundtrack; - Somewhat funny; - Good enemy variety; Cons: - Unnecessary simplification of a skill trees; - Bad optimisation; - Really short campaign; - Lack of polish;
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Buggy and ruins what made the first two great.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EH. I beat the game in 10 hours. Extremely disappointed. Buy 1 and 2 SKIP 3 until this is better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III - A Mixed Bag in the Final Chapter Graphics: ★★★☆☆ Van Helsing III delivers a gothic-inspired world with a decent level of detail, but it falls short of pushing graphical boundaries. Character designs and environments lack the polish seen in higher-budget titles, and occasional visual glitches can disrupt the overall immersion. While serviceable, the visuals may not leave a lasting impression. Gameplay: ★★★☆☆ The gameplay retains the series' action…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a total let down. Two games of good content, good mechanics that was obviously appreciated and what do they do in the third? Of course they change it. Games that are released as continuous series must be familiar from episode to episode, it's the story that makes it interesting to follow (and loot). And if it already have a great mechanic WHY THE FU** change it???? STUPID MF ")=/(&)(/¤%¤#/)= Over and over this happens and Van Helsing is one of them! If you played the first and second,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a disappointing end to the series! I thoroughly enjoyed the previous 2 iterations of this quirky and entertaining franchise but Van Helsing 3 was bad enough to inspire me to write a review. I was able to play through Van Helsing 1 & 2 without any issues whatsoever- They were great games well worth the bargain price for which i picked them both up for. Unfortunately the same cannot be said about Van Helsing 3. The game is just a stripped down bare bones version of the previous 2 titles.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The most boring and underwhelming one in the trilogy. Character skill upgrade system is just not as good as previous games in my opinion, sure there are more classes but with less skill tree and less satisfying results gameplay wise
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The play style is like a better version of Diablo 3 & 4. This is part 3 of 3 and the game art is kinda gothic horror steam punk. The mythos follow more European legends and lore than Mesopotamian mythos and lore. Expect more things along the lines of vampires and other similar monsters. Characters from the first transfer to the second game and parts of your progress from number two will transfer to number three. For anyone who is into top down isometric rpgs i think Van Helsing 3 is certainly a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 3 - This is the second best one in the trilogy if you ask me. In my personal order: 1, 3, 2. Further continuation of what the first 2 built on and it was a great experience playing this in coop again because there was no desyncing (not that it stopped us making backups of our characters to be sure). This is the final instalment of the game and we as a group of buddies (Eazy, my wife and I) thoroughly enjoyed playing this together and having a bunch of…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I already played the first and second games in this series, and.. Really? What a sick! Let's see... The first game has an incredible story, in my opinion, is the best among these three, nice graphics, dialogues that made me laugh, and the discovery of the mechanics. The second one is amazing too! Importing your character brought me the feeling of continuing, and it's such a difficult game. But the third.... well, I can play Witcher 3 on my laptop, but this is crashing? wtf? Where is the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly i can't recomend this game. i have played all 3 games from start to finish, but this one just doens't compare. Pro's: you get to continue the story of part 2 It looks a little better graphically. cons: The skills are reduced by 80%. instead of having 20+ skills and 15 tricks etc, you have barely 10 total now. there's nothing new to the classes or the play style. it's basically a van helsing 2 downgrade.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mediocre finish to interesting series. First Van Helsing was a quirky hack&slash with some great concepts about NPCs and the world it creates. Borgovia, Ink, vampires and all this gothic novel stuff, it simply worked. Jokes and some random events, which winked to players with cultural references made me laugh more than once and interested me enough to finish first installment and jump to the second. And somewhere halfway the second Van Helsing it stopped. It was more and more repeatable,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like ARPG's, you'll like this game. It's more of a linear ARPG focusing on it's story, but there's plenty of quests, directions and player choices to take. Its quirky, funny, low-key based, and pretty addictive. It's not without it's flaws, but all-in-all i def recommend this game for ARPG fans.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →feels weird. gameplay and movement feels like...knockoff ARP' games. i actually like / enjoy(ed) van helsing 1 way more, and it feels more...ARPg like.not really sure how else to explain it honestly, something just feels off .
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you are lucky enough to get the game to load, you will discover it is so full of glitches. Only play it because i'm a completionist.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Compared to the other games, it's VERY easy, the skills are dumbed down and it's just... boring. If you REALLY wanna play it, buy it on a bundle, on sale. Otherwise, don't waste your time
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finished this boring game after 6 hours. Not worth a single penny comparing to two previous parts. Dont buy this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth playing if you've played through the other two games and don't have the anthology version of the game (Final Cut). Honestly while you can tell the developers are trying to give the game a impactful feel appropriate for the terminal game in the series they fall short. I found this game least entertaining of the three...not sure how much this is the result of having to start over fresh as there is no character import from VH2. Still, the single player story mode is not long and it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ok, but compared to the earlier ones it is not. About 1/4 of the skills, sure there are more classes, but they don't add a lot. If you are new to the series you may like it, if coming from previous versions you probably won't.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →importing a lvl 60 toon from vh2 import absolutely nothing. not even your toon name. it say ''imported toon get a special item'' received no special item. hunter default attack are hold to shoot or mash the mice to shoot faster. you could swap your default attack for some other attack skill. but there is a catch. your default use no mana and all other attack skills use mana. mana that you don,t have and don't regen mana fast enough to use reliably early in the game anyway. my brother in…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Van Helsing 3 is the weakest part of the Van Helsing trilogy. Van Helsing 3 introduces all sorts of new environments and enemy types to the game compared to both of the predecessors. The level cap is back down to 30 again like the first game. There are mixups of classes and skills, there are some nice changes here with some of these with some classes gaining a bit more of a difference between them. For instance the protector can actively block with his shield, or the constructor fellow has a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was positively surprised. From the 3 games, this was my favorite one. The graphics were nice and I liked the whirlwind skill from the class I played. Comparing to the other games: there are less monsters and the pace of the fighting is slower. There are also fewer skills and they depend on the class you play. However I preferred the combat on this van helsing game. They did remove and change some features, like the shrines (temporary +% exp or damage) which I only found 2 of, throughout the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would say closest to Diablo 2 by atmosphere and genre from what I've played so far, including Diablo 3 & others (Diablo 2 still better tough)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved the first 2 games. Never had any issues running them at full specs. Van Helsing 3 is an unfinished glitchy unplayable mess. It chugs along even on lowest settings and let's get real here, the graphics are in now way amazing Character models look like something out of a PS2 game. The load times are horrendous, The names of items are missing, you get stuck in places and can't move anymore.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I still have doubts.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very good and satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Even though you can't transfer your saves from I/II to this one, there is no reason to play this before the first two. This game introduces six new classes (sort of a deconstruction of the three classes from the original two with some changes) and returns to a level cap of 30. Great campaign with tons of replayability, great environments, and hilariously stupid dialogue in the best way.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ignore the negative reviews, if you enjoyed 1 & 2 this is worth playing. Once you get past the class system rework and non existent import feature (which really sucks), this is the most polished gameplay wise. I found the areas to be the most fun, and the story and characters to be more interesting than the 2nd game, along with the difficulties being more balanced

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing III is a fitting conclusion to the beloved action RPG series. The game is set in a dark, gothic world where players take on the role of the legendary monster hunter, Van Helsing, as he confronts his greatest challenge yet. One of the standout features of Van Helsing III is its deep and complex character customization system. Players can choose from six unique classes, each with their own skills, abilities, and play styles. These classes can be further…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really fun game and it is a lot better than the first two games. This one does not have a lot of bugs. The achievements are a grind, but it is not impossible.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So you say this title does not align well with the two previous games? Sit down punk and let me tell you why you’re WRONG! (trust me, I got 155hours in Van Helsing I and 37hours in Van Helsing II) So far, there were two major negative aspects: technical issues and a less versatile character/skill system. While the latter one is indeed regrettable (no more tricks, you only have skills and auras in this game), the first one has been mostly resolved, and what’s left are all the NEW THINGS TO…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"The Incredible Adventures of Texture Glitch" would've been more appropriate name for this one. Previous 2 games were alright but this one is just... no. Others speak of game crashing constantly but not for me, I haven't had a single crash although certain maps have an awful texture glitch that stretches across the whole map. There was one bit where everything went grey instead and I had to look at mini map to guide myself around and once you reach a certain point textures come back. Don't…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you haven't played the first two, play Final Cut for a better experience. I played the first two and didn't want to start from the beginning. Anyway, my sentiments echo most others where i'm disappointed in the lack of character import, the skill revamp to make things more restricted, the butchering of the luck stat and the abysmal drop rates for uniques (only got one as the final boss died). However, despite all that, the music was really good and they did a decent job with the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not much different from VH1 & 2. The isometric view and gameplay is very well done. Visually it looks good and the character designs are great. There's a good amount of ways to play depending on your preferred style. The different character classes are great and the skills are varied. The same goes for your equipment. The story is still subpar though. 6/10
