They've shown to be a shady dev that will revoke legitimately purchased keys out of spite and then lying about why they did so. [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/1157390/discussions/0/569247754752109394/?ctp=2]They claim it's for "privacy issues" yet didn't bother to revoke keys until a couple of years after. So the dev is a thief and a liar. Hopefully they're out of the industry soon enough.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recently had the pleasure of playing through The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II and let me just say, it blew me away. As a fan of action RPGs, I have played many, including the highly anticipated Diablo IV, but I have to say, Van Helsing II is far superior. Not only does it improve on its predecessor in every way, but it also brings a unique and fresh take on the genre. First and foremost, the gameplay in Van Helsing II is so much more fluid and dynamic compared to Diablo IV. The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has been out for 11 years. Very early in the game, only a few hours in, there's a quest that requires to free prisoners. Well, I cleared the area after dying a million times before apparently normal difficult is hell in this game, and the quest disappeared and I can't even open any of the cells!? Went online and a bunch of people experience this, so 11 years and you haven't fixed this even though it is a known issue!? The difficulty is ridiculous. Sometimes it's fine, challenging…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay- to start: This review is for a CD Key redemption copy of the game, so it will not have any effect on the Steam Review ratings, since only reviews from Steam Store purchases are used to compile the % score. (In other words- this is my opinion, and has no bearing beyond that.) I enjoyed TIAoVH 1- good(but not great) game. Probably going to reinstall that one and keep playing, since I've only played 2 classes so far, and have yet to play a mage character. This one? I'll probably finish up a…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Much better than Diablo IV.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Katarina still rocks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you play with imported lvl 30 character, you will have an enjoyable, although uninspiring hack-and-slash. But the game is not optimized for starting from scratch; there is an insane difficulty spike in midgame, where you're constantly underlevelled and battling high level mobs. Turns the game into a slog.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its an Isometric ARPG Diablo clone that plays like a darker Torchlight, with the whole companion/pet system. There aren't really very many builds that turn out to be viable late-game, and experimentation beyond putting points where you obviously are expected to is generally punished by a bossfight that soft-locks you until you respec and actually behave the way the game expects you to. I have honestly tried so many times to get into a playthru of this game, and end up doing the same thing I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing 2 - So, usually when you play the second instalment of a game, it's better than the first, and usually you'd be about 95% correct. In this case, it is the other 5%. Now, don't get me wrong, the gameplay aspect itself is great, new enemy variety, great mechanics still, choices to be made, new characters, old characters. Where the issue comes in is when playing this with friends. For some odd reason, the game would completely desync and you'd actually…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a 52 year old great-grand-mother, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I live with my grand-daughter, who has 2 boys of her own and is now 14. She recently downloaded The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II and in less than a week, she had already played for over 50 hours. This was terrible for me, as it was already hard enough for me to spend time with her, as she is always banging her boy sex toys or just watching videos on Tit-tok. So I decided to make a Steam…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IF YOU'RE AN ACHIEVEMENT HUNTER!!! This game contains unobtainable multiplayer cheevos as multi is dead in this game, unless you have friends with a strong will to help you, because it is long boring hours grind with other players. VH2 continues the story from the first part directly at its end. Again, the plot is simple, shallow and predictable, but smashing up the enemies is very pleasant. This time Abraham's son gets lots more skills, so go ahead and import your VH1…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a direct continuation of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing. Unfortunately I have mixed feelings about this game: on the one hand, a lot of improvements in some gameplay mechanics and expanded skill tree, but, on the other, awful difficulty balancing and lack of polish. If you really liked first game check it out but keep expectations low. Pros: - Good graphics and world design; - Somewhat funny; - Expanded skill tree; - Tower defense is very improved (and optional); - Character…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many glitches. Can't complete it. Always "spawning, flying creatures. Same as in Van Helsing 1. Completely ruins the game. Such a shame you can't save your progress.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would like to state that my whole review will be extremely biased, offensive and discriminative against game types, publishers and developers so if you become easily offended please do not read this review. Ok let me tell you why you may want to play this game. When I saw The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing (from now on TIAVH) on steam store for the first time, I thought just it is some type of Diablo clone. And as a classic Diablo and conservative person I don’t like clones. (Classic…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked the first one, you will like this one as well. The isometric view and gameplay is very well done. Visually it looks good and the character designs are great. There's a good amount of ways to play depending on your preferred style. The different character classes are great and the skills are varied. The same goes for your equipment. There is a slight improvement story wise coming from the first, but i'ts still not great, 6/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a very nice action RPG game in the style of Diablo or Baldur's Gate 2. But it does not take itself as seriously as other titles. Its' hallmark is light-hearted humour and pop culture references throughout the game. The dialogues between the ghost woman and Van Helsing are enjoyable. The music score is very good, I enjoy the chill atmospheric soundtrack a lot. I think you buy the soundtrack with game as well, so you actually own the mp3s and can listen to them in your car or anywhere else.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Playtime: 7,5 hours - Played: 2025 - Expectation: Kinda negative. I didn't like the first game. Intro VH2 is an isometric action-RPG. You walk through fairly linear areas, killing monsters, gathering loot and levelling up. There is also a basic Tower Defense minigame and two different troop management minigames. The Good - TD minigame is probably the most fun i've had with either VH game. - The Hero mission minigame is solid. - Probably the only ARPGs in a Steampunk setting. - Decent…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a neutral review I enjoyed Van Helsing 2 slightly better then its predecessor. The story is more dynamic and flows better, you have a feeling of urgency. It's a parallel dimension steam punk world, and this time they put a stronger emphasis on the tactical aspect of the war between the dystopian scientific oligarchy and the resistance movement. So expect a lot of "tower/base defense" minigames and "conquer the map" tactical missions. The graphics is average, the soundtrack and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not balanced during leveling. Very bad no good time. You expect resistances to do something, but you get destroyed by random damage spikes anyway. Also noticeably buggier than the first game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II - An Epic Hunter's Journey Gameplay: ★★★★☆ The gameplay of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II is nothing short of thrilling. Set within a dark and mysterious universe, players embark on a challenging adventure as the legendary monster hunter, Van Helsing. The combat mechanics have been finely tuned, offering a mix of intense, fast-paced battles and strategic tactics. The addition of skill trees and numerous customization options enhance the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so absolutely broken, how can this be a full priced game? Some bug I encountered after a couple of minutes: Skill tree shows completely wrong commands (Shows Aura prompts for active skills), so I can't learn new skills or upgrade them or whatever -> restart required, makes the game unplayable. Items sometimes get picked up automatically, sometimes not, didn't find an option for that. Random health bars. The same enemies have different health values. I fight a group of 4 enemies, 1…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Van Helsing 2 continues the story from the first, continuing its tradition of weirdness and fourth wall breaks. Van Helsing 2 game pace seems to be slightly faster than the first game. As a result the campaign feels shorter but also more satisfying as the level ups and stats just keep rolling on in. To extend the gameplay beyond the campaign there is an end-game Scenario system to make up for it. The scenario system will basically pull multiple maps from the first and second game, add various…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's... fine. the dialogue is cute, but there's just not much going on here to distinguish it from better ARPGs
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this still is a very entertaining trilogy of games like Diablo, Victor Vran & Titan Quest, etc. It's a timeless concept but this series lacks some polish. For the rest? Just buy and play this series. Usually they are very cheap to purchase somewhere on the net. RECOMMENDED!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A bit of downgrade storywise, but overall a much smoother game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Offline we're playing Persona 5X, Ratchet and Clank, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, Monster Hunter Wilds, and Raidou Remastered. negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't believe it but the first one was actually better. And I didn't even like the first one! Very uninspiring follow-up that was thrown together just for the sake of a sequel.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good continuation of Part 1 thus-far, I will see how it goes as I get more into the game. The play style is like a better version of Diablo 3 & 4. This is part 2 of 3 and the game art is kinda gothic horror steam punk. The mythos follow more European legends and lore than Mesopotamian mythos and lore. Expect more things along the lines of vampires and other similar monsters. Characters from the first transfer to the second game and parts of your progress from number two will transfer to number…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II is an action-packed sequel to the original game that brings back all the things that made it a success, while also adding new and exciting features. The game takes place in the grim and foreboding land of Borgovia, a place filled with danger and intrigue. One of the most significant improvements in Van Helsing II is the expanded character customization options. Players can now create a custom class that suits their playstyle and preferences with a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Duration: 18 hours. Enjoyment: Confused to fun. I had a rough time at the beginning of this game until I learned to use area of effect attacks (ranged attack). I only died in the third and final chapter four times. I ended up enjoying IAoVH2. Combat can be a bit insane with the huge swarms of small enemies (or big enemies!) attacking you. The chimera was able to fetch a lot of good equipment. The choices in skill trees and even in item enhancement are huge, and almost too many. I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of my fav RPG game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm gonna say, this is my favourite of the three; the skill trees are toilet paper long (which I like), waaay more expanded build possibilities than in the first instance, the banter between Van Helsing and Lady Katarina is way more lively and funny than in the first game, the plot is thicker, the tower defense mini-game is so much fun, there are tons upon tons of secrets and easter eggs to discover (you can really feel 2010s energy from this, and younger generation might not get all the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the Van Helsing Trilogy very much. All parts of the series were without bugs or lags. The games have great graphics, interesting quests and included interesting minigames. Part I was especially large compared to the others. It also felt less linear. Part II was shorter, yet came with some new mechanics and skills, plus the possibility to import your character from Part I. Part III was also shorter, but maps were very interesting and beautifully created. Unfortunately the character…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is interesting enough to try for a buck. Huge lack of polish makes it a frustrating experience a lot of the time. Severe balancing issues where you go from just walking through content to hitting a frustrating wall where you can't survive. I can't recommend this with so many other ARPGs out that that just do a flat out better job.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking for a fun hack and slash/diablo style rpg. look somewhere else. After being out for so long there's still some game breaking bugs. The combat system is unbalanced. and the story is just flat out boring. Even when it does try to be funny, or cool. it just doesn't work. They even made an angry birds reference which made me wanna shoot my computer with a shotgun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A continuation of swell gameplay from the first in the series
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It sucks - I give it 1/10 mostly because the item descriptions are unreadable. The text is too small to read and the translations (I didn't play in english) have errors. Difficulty also should have been tweaked - I kept getting 2 shotted on normal mode, and still died a few times on easy. I don't much appreciate the story either. About the gameplay: you start at lvl 1 but you'll finish the game at about lvl 30. The second tier of skills you see, starting from lvl 30+, are meant for the New…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those games that really makes me wish steam had a “neutral” rating rather than just a “good/bad” system as there are quite a few good points to this game but also some major problems. The game is definitely a sequel to The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing the ending of which very much has a “go and buy the sequel to continue the story” feel about it. Having played this that is definitely the case. The original game has had some features bolted on to make Van Helsing 2…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The text is unreadably small, even after having set it to the maximum size in the settings. Also the subtitles are out of the screen (on a 21:9 monitor at least).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good continuation of the game, which carefully develops the strengths of the first part and adds more content, variability, and tactical depth. For fans of the action-RPG genre, I recommend playing these two parts at least once to immerse yourself in the setting and atmosphere of the gothic Victorian world with a touch of steampunk and dark humor. As in the first part, we collect everything in our path and create various build combinations. I recommend this game for fans of the action-RPG…
