Writing is done pretty well for what it is. I have played the other Dark Eye PC games, and this is barely recognizable as Dark Eye, but it is there in lore and mechanics. Even so the game follows some generic tropes the story is engaging and leaves you with choises that feel meaningfull. The Skill System is engaging, i alway prefer DSA over DND as it leaves more room for Specilisation the combat is serviceble at best but regardless i have a blast.
