positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If Co-op Worked, this Game Would be Worth the Time This game is built upon a fun concept in which every enemy you slay comes back to haunt you, re-enacting your exact move set, including attacks, from your previous life. The more levels you go through, the more enemies you face. A fun and enjoyable concept this game has a few quirks that really prevent it from being a great game. Pros - Fun Concept Who doesn't want to be a ghost kicking cool person - Enjoyable sound (both music…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In my mind, extreme exorcism is very much a local multiplayer game. I recommend this for people who are interested in this element of the game but would not recommend it solely for the single player mode. Extreme exorcism offers an excellent concept, in each round of combat ghosts enter the arena and repeat the actions of players from previous rounds. This can make for chaos very quickly. Players pick up weapons that spawn on the map, and can equip multiple weapons which all fire…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An Arcade Action Platformer https://youtu.be/w3IkSJOr-aM + Very unique and surprisingly fun gameplay. Basically, your goal is to kill the ghost with a crown. Each time you do, a new round starts with yet another ghost who copies your exact movements including weapon pickups and when you fire from the previous round. After around 5 rounds it gets pretty crazy with ghosts jumping around shooting everywhere who are all essentially clones of yourself from previous rounds. (Or in other words you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extreme Exorcism: This is one of thousands of lazy low effort 2D retro pixel platformer/shooters infesting Steam. You must clear a haunted house from ghosts that mimic your own movements, using a variety of samey weapons. Awful lazy pixel "art" is used as a substitute for proper PC tier graphics due to lack of talent/budget from the developer. The developer maps racing wheel/HOTAS and other PC game controllers as if they are a console peasant childrens toy gamepad, making the selector move…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nifty and underrated little game that takes a creative approach to the everlasting dilemma of how to get AI enemies to move naturally. Basically in single-player, each time you kill an enemy they respawn and mimic your exact movements from the previous round. Enemies repeatedly respawn like this until there are a frantic rush of them all over the screen and you eventually run out of health. Arcade Mode, Survival Mode, and local PvP increase the longevity and value of Extreme Exorcism. Def…

Check out my impression in REAL TIME HD 1080p TECHNICOLORS Pros: _Looks nice: Very vibrant pixel arts, fits the tone of the game, pleasant to look at. _Great music: Appropriately Halloween, nothing too catchy, but pretty kickass. _Controls well: Nice and tight, Double jumping feels great, weapons could use a bit more oomph, but overall pretty good. _Interesting mechanics: You can hold and use 3 weapons at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Exorcise your parents. Play in rounds and defeat ghosts with whatever you can grab. Each successful clear start next round with more ghosts mimicking moves from previous rounds. It gets intense and after a while it gets repetitive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way much better than expected thanks to a great concept and smooth controls. Definitely worth a try when on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way to repetitive. For me this game got really old really fast.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I try a lot of local multiplayer games, and this one's probably one of my favorites - it scales pretty well to the number of players (some other ones don't work so well if you don't have a full four), and its Custom Match modes have a LOT of options to make the game more and more replayable. I haven't tried single player, but this is definitely worth it for the multiplayer alone.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game crashes at one minute exactly after opening the game, broken game=don't buy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The challenge in this game comes not from some AI (with the exception of the final boss), but rather from one's own self. Each run in a given stage involves killing some ghost, with the first run being against a generic, non-combative AI spirit. Each run thereafter, however, uses your previous run as the ghost to slay, with successive runs adding further spectral enemies to avoid and slay. Certain powerups exist to erase these ghosts enitrely, but for the most part one has to plan ahead and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game! Love the retro feel. Really seems like something you'd find in an 80s arcade. The game can get a little buggy sometimes; the first time I went to "Challenges", it crashed. Also when you finish a stage, the only options are "Quit" and "Leaderboards". Kind of shocked no one thought to put in a "Replay Level" option. I think the creators of this game are done with it but I really wish some updates happen to fix the above issues as well as put in some more awesome weapons, stages…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast and fun platformer with hilarious bosses and a humorous style. makes you smile and want to keep defeating enemies. perfect for quick, lively gaming sessions and a good laugh. a blast of nostalgic arcade energy!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The "ghosts copy what you do" idea is a fun concept, but they don't really *do* anything with it. It's also the *only* thing they do. The game really could have used some online multiplayer to shake things up.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good indie game with simple but beautiful graphics and good control. The objective of the game is to kill ghosts in each wave, and these ghosts will always go the way you did in the previous wave. As you progress through the game and earn points, you unlock stages and weapons. an entertaining game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great co op with awesome ghosts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little platformer! I found it quite addictive, very "one more go" sorta thing. Really fun when it gets hectic with lots of the ghosts bouncing about the palce. Can imagine it is a good laugh with local coop too, almost makes me wish I had friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/kqKlC9hgudw While obviously better in multiplayer the single player score chase and challenges leverage the core mechanic in fun ways.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extreme Exorcism, developed by Golden Ruby Games and published by Ripstone, is a tightly designed arcade action platformer that builds its entire identity around a single, brilliantly executed idea. At its core, the game takes a familiar concept—clearing rooms of enemies—and transforms it into something far more dynamic by turning the player’s own past actions into future threats. What begins as a simple exercise in movement and combat quickly evolves into a layered and increasingly chaotic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →22) The game that I most associate playing with my youngest is Extreme Exorcism. My oldest didn’t like how unpredictable/kinda broken it is, but me and my youngest thought that randomness added to the fun.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a "must own" game simply because its not just "one of the many like this". It's a simple idea really, but its perfectly implemented. Big thanks to Lawrence Trent (look him up) for having an off-day thus netting me this game.
