You have been sent to deal with a serious threat, and in so doing, have come back to the home you only remember from nightmares and a shattered past. That home still stands, though it is broken down after all this time (and you thought it had been burned to the ground). During this game you will reconstruct it and use it as a base to fight the dark threats growing outside.

Thus, it is rather frustrating that, contrary to the original Shining Plume's prompting you to create an end-of-game save, Shining Plume 2 does not…

During fighting, if you try to change your initial attack it skips over the player and goes with it. Now I am facing game freezing problems. I have started over a few times but it tends to lock up...at different places. Thumbs down on this game even though it is almost free to play.

Shining Plume 2 is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As usual with the Andorlea shovelware, this RPG…

Built for players who appreciate traditional turn-based RPGs, the game combines exploration, character progression, strategic combat, and emotional storytelling into a lengthy fantasy journey that embraces many of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed the Japanese theme of this game and the art is very nice. Unfortunately, in my opinion the writing was pretty juvenile and dramatically inconsistent and the features of the game were pretty bare bones. Still, it's entertaining for the price and great to support indie game devs and if you don't mind out of place jokes and 4th wall breaking references you might enjoy it!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate it. No way to exit shop after clicking to buy (and if there is one, you should teach that to players)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A second game in this series. Playing the first is not required, but helpful to understand the storyline. It is a smooth playing rpg with no bugs or freezes. The artwork is beautiful, and the Japanese reference throughout the game is very honorable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked this game, got stuck a couple times and true enough there is no a guide but, the game was rather inexpensive and I enjoyed the short play.
