positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A neat simple puzzle platformer about eating things and getting fatter. :-)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice mix between platforming and simple physics based puzzle. Controlling blob is fun and wobbly. Movement is fluid and allow for some trick jumping. Get different abilities to make gameplay even more interesting. Use metal surface to your advantage by pulling or pushing blob to jump across spikes and other environmental hazards. Squeeze through narrow pipes and swallow every object including humans (tasty!). Music is good, level design even better. Sadly, there're no screen filters to make…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This expertly made platformer is not only technically excellent, but oozes style. The platforming is unique and extremely fun, the puzzles are not difficult but they're not supposed to be because the pacing is just right, the introduction of abilities for your blob is timed perfectly, and it is quite challenging to 100%, but not impossible like some platformers tend to be. On top of that, it has that intangible quality to it that just makes it such joy to play. The humor, music, animation are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh look! A game where you can eat.. Everything! Its amazing how can a simple game be so great. You are a tiny little monster who just makes it way eating everything and getting as big as possible. Simples, funny and adictive gameplay made me sad when I reached the end.. So quickly. Sense of humor is widely present. I loved the game. OVERALL 8.3/10

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mutant Blobs Attack was one of my favorite games as a kid. I remember constantly playing it on the PS Vita, which nowadays nobody remembers. I am so glad I get to replay this game again, still, I love the colours and art style of the game, and it's so satisfying eating everything in sight until to grow to become a massive mutant blob and eat the entire solar system. (Ya know this reminds me of another game about a one-eyed mutant blob who eats the solar system, but that one was purple) Even the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game for me is just really nostalgic. I first played this on the PS3 when I was still in elementary school and I really loved it. The style is so unique and the game is so simple and sometimes even funny. I just recently came back to this game and decided to 100% the achievements and it was a little bit of a challenge.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In addition to making charming metroidvania, drinkbox can also make puzzle platformers. the tale of a little blob growing big relies on some physics puzzle actions as well as sharp platforming. There are also bonus marble madness style levels sprinkled throughout. It's all packaged nicely with storybook style art and b-movie inspired sound. Far from it’s dark and lofty peers, it’s a light hearted bit of jumping.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great platformer from the creators of magnificent Guacamelee. There are cards, achievements, leaderboards, points to collect and secret friends. You play as a blob who has to eat in order to grow.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool premise for a platformer, and some of the mechanics are fun. However I can't recommend a platformer with such rdiculously horrible control. Be prepared for dozens and dozens of pointless failures due entirely to the sloppy wall jump that sometimes works and sometimes just doesn't. Also sometimes your blob suddenly has 10x the mass or inertia and has to slowly decelerate to change direction, while inexplicably the next second the slightest motion on the stick flings him off at warp speed…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really captures that retro feel. A reflection on our recent past, very different than now, culture changes so quickly. Many aspects of a culture are deeply personal and subconscious, similar to what art does to your brain without you thinking about it. This little nugget lives up to the hype. Art design is top notch, levels are quick and satisfying, a blobby good time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is one of the rare experiences where everything just clicks. The style, the feeling, the controls and the gameplay. If you are looking for a solid funny platformer for your PС look no further. This one has everything going for it.
:steamhappy:  :steamthis:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing platformer! Shame the first game is a PS3 exclusive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A much better game when it's being a puzzle platformer/Rosie O'Donnell simulator than when it requires you to rush through areas on a timer or you need to do precision platforming (or both). This mostly has to do with how you are controlling a giant mutant blob. Precise is not exactly how I would describe how it moves and controls, which is fine, but don't make me try and steer this thing around instant death traps please. It is also an EXTREMELY short game. Even trying to get every…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a really enjoyable Indie Platformer with tents of puzzles and dodge-em-ups, in the style of Katamari or agar.io, or even Spore in a certain degree, filled with background parodies/references. It doesn't overextend it's stay, by being short and fun, diversifying quite often and with some compelling artstyle. The game is difficulty-wise it is quite forgiving, with plenty of checkpoints, but not in any way holding your hand with the hard parts, letting you figure stuff out and earning…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I Grew up playing A boy and his blob on NES i was extremely excited for this game when it came out. and all i can say is bravo to the devs hits you with nostalgia but still brings many new elements into the game. Who is the right mind wouldnt want a blob to feed jelly beans to. 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I breezed through this silly platformer in a couple of days and had a great time doing so. The gameplay is not hugely challenging but it is a lot of fun, and there's lots of humour along the way. If you can get this on sale then it's an absolute steal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an older DrinkBox game and it shows. I can't recommend it in 2025. You can't rebind controls from within the game so you MUST use a controller, and the puzzle platforming is kind of simplistic. Only worth looking in to if you really want to explore DrinkBox history.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game but... who the ♥♥♥♥ do this control keys
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wonderful unique platforming and presentation filled with dead memes and references to indie games that barely anyone remembers now
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played this on Steam Deck. It was an interesting game and worked well. Game is short and can be completed in a few hours. Some levels are challenging but it never felt impossible to do. Unfortunately I don't see much reason to replay the game after you complete it. I noticed achievements don't register if you play offline. So keep that in mind if you care about that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A cool little game from a great indie group. You play as a space blob that consumes objects to grow and uses telekinesis and other tricks to escape, travel and free other mutant blobs. The game has some unique physics, simple puzzles and very interesting graphics. It's not the best game by this dev (shout out Guacamelee!), but it is enjoyable and has a storyline that features a nice sense of humor. Nice game to fill some time; I'd recommend.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack wears its indie status openly, with a comfortable amount of charm. Mutant Blobs Attack is fun. The best description is 'Katamari Damacy if it was a platformer'. Each level has you rolling forward, completing simple but fun platforming sections while eating anything smaller than yourself. The music is catchy, the visuals are cute, and aside from a few iffy or annoying jumping sections it is a solid little title. If you're not a completionist, you could…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is difficult to point out any cons in Mutant Blob. The visual identity, the soundtrack, the colors and, above all, the charisma are impeccable. A very dynamic puzzle platform where you control a blob whose mission is to devour everything that lies ahead. The gameplay is very fluid, the controls are easy to understand, with interesting mechanics and a great learning curve. Mutant Blob is one of those hard-to-stop games, with each stage finished you want to go to the next one on time. Buy it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Solid platformer that's straightforward and fun, with satisfying gameplay and a good learning curve. New mechanics are introduced at a reasonable pace, and many of the most challenging areas are bonus and not required to complete the game. But the great thing is you can go back and hack away at the toughest spots if you want to get all the achievements, which are also satisfying. The music and graphics are on point too. Not much to complain about here.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack you'll play as a blob with the objective to eat everything in your path. The story starts out with the Blob being studied in some facility along with its blob friends, and staging an escape in order to seek revenge. Once it escapes, it starts eating everything in its path, starting from small things like pencils and such, and growing larger the more it eats. I wouldn't say it's a great story, but I wouldn't say it's bad either; it's there to give the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a casual/platformer-puzzle with cute design and fluid controls. Pros: + Game mechanics + Controls + Visuals + Level designs + Fun Neutral: ~ Sfx and soundtrack is shallow ~ A bit short Cons: - Too easy. When you think its impossible to pass somewhere, than you solve the puzzle at that is it. Game is very easy if you have puzzle skills. 7/10 Its fun, relaxing and has good production values. Try it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is truly one of the best games I had a chance to play - once I had played it as a child and now I replayed it once again as an adult - and I enjoyed it even more! Music makes you truly focused on the story, mechanics of the game are making it truly enjoyable. The design is very specific, along the music it creates a world I will always love! My favourite song is "Music to Eat Cows by".
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best nostalgia game + rep
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mutant Blobs Attack is a charming little puzzle-platformer that nails the fun factor without overstaying its welcome — you eat everything smaller than you, grow massive, and eventually threaten the solar system itself, all wrapped in a cartoony aesthetic packed with indie game references that had me grinning the whole time. The core loop of absorbing objects to grow and unlock new paths is simple but satisfying, and the gradual introduction of mechanics like magnetism and telekinesis keeps…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack (2012) Ah, an underrated PS Vita classic. The Steam version of the game handled what was the touch screen controls on the Vita pretty decently, but the game was meant to be played on that system. The game's still pretty good though!
unlabelledView post →Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a wonderfully eccentric platformer that delivers its charm through a blend of cartoon chaos, clever mechanics, and a gleeful embrace of old-school sci-fi absurdity. The premise is intentionally simple: you play as a tiny, disgruntled blob who escapes from a laboratory and proceeds to grow, roll, jump, and consume its way through an unsuspecting world. What begins as a minor escape quickly escalates into a full-scale blob invasion, and the game leans into…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I hate to give Drinkbox a bad review, but this one is just bad. Even putting aside the crashes this is simply boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game but i really want about a blob but its not on pc :(
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good nostalgia trip if you played it back in the day, highly reccomend even if not an old ♥♥♥♥.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →классный продукт
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Quite funny (from the whole premise to the jokes in the background artwork), with a good amount of dark humor - The game itself is quite forgiving - you don't have to sweat much to beat it - Enough optional goals (blob friends, gold medals) if you do want something more challenging (which are still not too hardcore, and achievable for a casual player)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice casual puzzle with a fun twist and cartoon graphics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completed this with my 5 year old. Its cute and puns are on point; including product placement and also made by Canadians. The jumping puzzles can be a bit frusterating sometimes with a keyboard but overall I would say worth the 10$. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it has good physhiycs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like platformers, this might be a game for you, but I don't see it standing out in a sea full of platformers. Pro(s): The jump controls are nice. A little floaty but when I miss a jump, I feel its on me and not the game. I can get the hidden blobs most of the time. The ones I didn't get, I did see where I might be able to get them. If I had time, I feel I could get them through exploration. Music was pretty good. Maybe not memorable, but it felt right. Meh(s) I like the idea of a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gish + Katamari + B Grade Horror Film. Simple but cute and fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A generally awesome game with some incredibly frustrating patches around 70% of the way through. No game developed primarily for PC should "require" use of a controller, under any circumstances. If the control issues and questionable difficulty spikes were corrected, i would have no problems with heartily recommending this game. However, as this is unlikely, i'd say only get this if you have a controller. I hope for better things in future from this Developer, as the care and love in this game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It felt kinda like a 2nd Katamari. I love the art style and it was lots of fun to boot!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and charming little puzzle-platformer that feels rewarding whenever you complete a stage, leaving you wanting more.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Flash game grade assets and engine. Using telekinesis feature felt clumsy. Time attack segments mixed with puzzles kill the pacing. Boring and repetitive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just leaving a positive review, you already know what the game is about :). It's really fun. Working fine on Linux with a controller.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was kind of annoying to play. I've never been a fan of puzzle games that rely on mechanical execution - it takes the fun out of finding the solution.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best game ever!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you haven't tried absorbing everything in sight into an ever growing blob, I highly recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OMG YOU SHOULD PLAY IT ITS AMAZING
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another platformer, but with a physics based puzzle collectathon-y thing going on too. You are a blob and you must eat enough goodies to get big enough to absorb a cork that is stopping you from progressing further. (You must collect stuff and when you do, the next part of the level is available) Plus there are added dynamics of controlling moving platforms with the right analog stick and being able to grab on magnetized platforms (or push from them with added oomph) thanks to the blobs…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Steam store is oversaturated with low effort 2D retro platformers. So when launching this game, I expected just another forgettable entry. Tales From Space: Mutant Blobs Attack shares almostnone of the low effort, weak attributes of so much indy shovelware that we see today. Instead, we get an admirable and fun game. Support for 4K! Keyboard support! Non-janky controls! But most importantly, instead of another Mario clone, we get what Spores first stage blended with a 2D puzzle…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kinda like the old "Gish" but with less enjoyable controls and a punishing level design. Not for the casual crowd.
