For example: you can easily get a hole in one on the first hole with only 3 bombs, netting around 3000 points in the process, however if you simply launch your ball directly into the air over…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game! If multiplayer is ever added, I will recommend it to my friends. Playing it alone was a little sad, but the game concept is great.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game about using bombs to play golf! It's a lot of bouncy fun. Using the slow-mo button can make timing easier. ;) First look and review of gameplay: https://youtu.be/30ZO6quCPp4 Pros: +unique take on golf +cute graphics that are appropriate to the game +controls work well and feel appropriately difficult +lots of freedom to solve holes in different ways +just generally super fun to play, made me giggle lots! Cons: -NO MULTIPLAYER. Seriously. I'm desperately hoping it gets added…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The price is right so I can't really knock it too bad. Attach explosives to a golf ball and blow them up to get the ball to its home. Pretty inefficient indeed, but mildly fun. It's an interesting concept and within just a few holes I found myself trying (and succeeding at) some pretty wild shots. The game really earns its moniker of "inefficient" when you get to later holes though. You have to tirelessly wait for your ball to come to a rest after a long adventure you sent it on. Like far far…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool concept and a much more visually appealing game than similar games like Golf with Friends. The concept is almost too flexible allowing you to basically jetson your ball into the air and then blast it towards the hole often times circumventing the entire course. If you don't take that approach, you start to see how weird and floaty the physics are. Gravity is weak so your ball bounces like crazy yet somehow rolls like it's stuck in mud. The mines affect the weight of your ball and collide…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What made me give this a thumbs down. No multi player for this game. Good game other wise the physics are decent. but just playing dynimite golf by yourself is only fun for so long. NEEDS MORE PEOPLE TO PLAY WITH LIKE GOLF WITH YOUR FRIENDS!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's actually pretty damn fun to mess with the physics and the mines. 3 mines at this angle, 1 on the other side to knock it back if shot too hard, Another on the top to shoot it straight down if needed. All mapped to 1, 2, 3 and 4 on the keyboard. If multiplayer were to be added to could truly be something awesome.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The kind of game that you'd watch a streamer struggle with but not actually play yourself.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh? You place bombs on a golf ball and try and get it in the hole. The courses are super wacky and usually have lots of loops and other gimmicks. Few problems in the game: The physics is not perfect. Multiple times I’ve hit a seam in the middle of the field and the ball spazzes out. The bombs interact with the ground. In theory, it would be cool to layer the bombs in a way where you fire them in a specific order and make huge progress in one stroke. However, since the bombs interact…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Absolute Best Way to Play Golf This game was featured in my Lost on Steam series where I take a look at lesser known Steam games. Check it out here: https://youtu.be/wk2HU7yCBZw Super Inefficient Golf is an amazing game. I just want to throw that out there right away. The game is absolutely off the wall silly - You attach MINES to golf balls and try to blow up your ball all the way to the goal. It's exactly as silly and amazing as it sounds and it will give you hours of entertainment…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game looks great and runs very well. However, I did have a number of small issues with it that keep me from recommending this game to anyone. Probably the first thing you'll notice after hitting new game is the camera control. This is a subjective issue, of course, but there is no option to invert the horizontal axis. I wanted the exact opposite of the what the game was trying to give me (both vertical and horizontal axis flips), but I could only change half of it. Not the biggest issue,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →too short, needs more than one course
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have to admit, i was dubious at first after having played other golf titles but after hitting play those doubts vanished quickly. This game is colorful, fun and a challenge, and why no one though of mixing golf balls and bombs before ?? I have no Idea but it works. It's a game thats great to kill some time with, to just let go and play, although prepare to get frustrated when all you want to do is a trickshot that gets you more and more infurated that you cant pull it off so result to many…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't read the tag that said single player. If a game is gonna suck this bad, I would at least like to share the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with my friends. You can't get any worse when you fail at failing. At least it's pretty.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →im a sucker for minigolf games you use bombs to move the ball rather then hit it and most of the time you end up bouncing or rolling off the map. normal minigolf rules still apply and it kinda kills the game..... 2/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Follow our [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36214917/]Curator Group for more reviews Super Inefficient Golf is a golf game, but with a physics puzzle twist on it. Instead of hitting the ball normally, you place mines and trigger them in order to launch the ball. The level design is decent, but the best strategy is often to ignore the course and just launch the ball as high as you can and guide it into the hole. Later levels try to prevent you from doing this, but it only results in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →quite an original twist to crazy golf
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a lovely little game for its price. The main focus is that you'll be playing golf, but with tactically executed explosions instead of a club. You can set up 4 different colors of bombs which correlate to 4 different sets of explosions. You can also stack bombs of the same color for larger blasts. Still all comes together into a pretty fun physics puzzler. The big pro of this game is its unique control mechanic. Blowing the ball where you want it isn't terribly intuitive at first, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super Inefficient Golf is an unorthodox physics-sandbox/golfing-sim combination that nudges you towards the road less traveled. Physics sandbox games are typically about creative expression whereas golfing simulations focus on strategy and execution. By combining the two and creating something that has no real world analog, 34BigThings has given us new material to explore in video game golf; much the same way Rocket League reframed the digital adaptation of soccer. In SIG, you’re tasked with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If it ain't SUPER INEFFICIENT, it ain't FUN!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Frustrating like all other minigolf games, but with this one you can easily excuse it and try again. The planning and preparation of placing your mines usually counts for nothing, but for that one time that you execute it as intended it is worth it. Definitely a fun little game to pick up on a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty to look at but controlling it is a nightmare. By the time I would figure how to move the bogus ball, I was already bored to tears. Moving on to something else. This isn't it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gud game, shame there's no multiplayer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hate this game and especially hate hole 18 of world 1.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The title of this game says it all
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Golf without friends? No no i'm okay
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember the ending to Caddyshack? Someone took that, subtracted the kangaroo, and made it into a game. Oh, and Al Czervik was wrong. The Good: It’s definitely a fun way to change up a game of golf. Place up to 16 explosives all over a giant golfball and set them off. The soundtrack is wacky golf music if I’ve ever heard it. Cheating isn’t really cheating. If you can figure out how to land a trickshot in this, you earned that win. Explosion-based physics really opens doors to interesting…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game, but needs a multiplayer.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mini Golf with Explosions!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is good quirky fun. If you can grab this at the current 2 dollar price tag, you will definitely get your money's worth.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →inefficient, fun and golfy just give players tools to create new levels and you have a perfection
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun for like 1hr. There are only 18 holes 1 course and no multiplayer. The camera is wonky. The achievements are real easy to do.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be short and to the point. This game is fun for a few hours but not much beyond that. If you're a score and leaderboard person then you'll probably get a bit more than three out of it but otherwise you'll probably finish it in an hour or two. It's worth the price if you like high scores, otherwise wait for a sale to get it. Not a bad game by any means but until multiplayer or workshop support is added then it might be best to wait for a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoying playing fairly early so far. The game reminds me if Turbo Dismount and Kirby's Dream Course had a love child....with lots of mines. Fairly straightfordward premise with lots of potential for explosions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun golf game with a twist and worth the price
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not much to complain about here might like a level editor, the option to save bomb configurations, and a speed up function, but those are all pretty minor tidy little game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worth playing for the novelty but be warned you'll be over it quickly. Get at a steep discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game! There is dumb people saying that this thing or that thing isn't well designed... ffs the game is called super inefficient golf and they are hoping for a real golf game XDDD You explode tiny bombs to move your golf ball, you make it fly until the terrain doesn't render anymore and hope you get a hole in one, 10/10 best game design ever
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Multiplayer yet?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For 5 bucks if you like golf with you friends but its too linear for you, pick this game up. A lot of fun and you have to use just a bit more of your brain than in putt putt. I don't believe there is multi-player, which IMO I am okay with because i feel like it would take forever for one hole to go by with 4 people trying to line up their bombs perfectly. If they did add it i would assume they would have to change something up for it to be enjoyable, maybe not, who knows. Who know mines and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tried This At Top Golf, Wasn't Da Bess! But They Will Still Allow Me To Play This From Mah Jail Cell! 10/10! Wish Had MP!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended for fans of physics based games. This was a pleasant surprise. The graphics are decent, audio is nothing special and there are only two 18-hole courses, but the game shines through with its interesting concept of using explosives instead of the putter in a bizarre mini-golf experience. It's a simple concept that will definitely give you a few headaches as you come to grips with the mechanics, but once you get the hang of it, you will be pulling off some pretty crazy shots.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Maybe I'm an idiot but I need like a proper tutorial. The concept is fun. Attaching bombs to your ball to hit it off.. but there's no real guidance on how to do anything. Got a few achievements out of it within the first few minutes but other than that, I think I'll pass.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this game in a free giveaway some time ago and it's your typical Unreal Engine 4 physics game with glassy OEM shaders, bare-bones options and levels built with the UE4 BSP tool. The tutorial tells you to press "Right Shoulder" on your controller to activate the slow-mo mode but it's actually the "Left Trigger". The controls can't be rebound and if the developers didn't put a block right above you at the start of a level or above the flagpole you can just put bombs underneath your ball and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a console (Switch) ported 3D physics puzzle/golf game where you play minigolf, but instead of clubs you place small explosive charges which you trigger to make the ball move. It's not really a gripping improvement over minigolf, a solid minigolf game would have gone down better. The console port is very mediocre, with no proper UHD support, it uses bad quality graphics scaling, so everything looks fuzzy. Gameplay, if it was to be taken seriously, isn't much fun, you can get by most…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is super inefficient, but a lot of fun if you can aim correctly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2 hours of playtime, including stream time. here's my thoughts. The idea is fun and refreshing. Min golf with remote explosives is fun. It's a good test of your geometry and physics knowledge, with a little dash of luck. The course layouts basically give you an easy and "let's go for broke" option; both of which are viable. You have 4 different bombs which really helps you control your ball during your flight. Downsides -- The weird camera angles when you're against a wall. It can be painful…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun game. Definitely worth the price of a coffee!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only bad thing I can say about this game is that I binge played it nad now there's no more levels
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ok, not great not terrible
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →way too ♥♥♥♥♥♥' short to justify $1.50, let alone $5.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Outside the box golf. Take Kerbal and turn it into golfing and Voila' Super Inefficient Golf. Great game, one of those simple games you get hooked into taking on the next challenge. Super as a time killer for your laptop.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am on the fence about this game. It has a different mechanic than most golf games and makes it fun but gets old pretty quickly and the fact that is lacking multiplayer which I think it would make this experience much more enjoyable seeing how others would struggle to get the ball into the hole. Also the fact that you can't create your own maps and have some sort of workshop community to try new maps makes this game lacking. After you figure out the mechanics the golf track starts to feel like…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good idea, poor execution. Got it free so meh
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank you for the free game. I am charmed by the concept, but the execution is brutal and needs a lot of polish. Every single hole can be solved by placing a couple of bombs to launch the ball high, then another one of a different color on the top of the ball so you can slam it down at the right moment. As a result, I got a hole-in-one basically on the first or second try for the first 9 holes. My reaction to getting an Albatross or Hole in One became :\ when it should have been :D At that…
