60 of 78 · most liked firsti find this game very weird because the gameplay is so simple and dull that it feels like kids game. You have only one pike from your head to shoot then you retrieve it and repeat till you kill everybody. But the way it depicts the battle is so gory that it is not suitable for kids to play. Why did they make the scene so bloody? The character spills brain and blood when it dies. The price is outrageous considering the simplicity of gameplay. It's not even fun to play with friends because…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Our video on Porcunipine: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s70Hqw4mpA0 We had a lot of fun with Porcunipine, Porcunipine is a topdown, arena hedgehog-spike shooter developed by Big Green Pillow in which you fight either with 1 - 4 human players or fight versus AI in a thrilling arena match. You can also play the single player version, Survival, in which you need to kill waves of enemies with increasing difficulty. This gamemode features an online leaderboard, there is much fun and competition…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple idea, easy to pick and have Instant action and pure fun... The sounds effects are hilarious and translate the action in a very bizarre way. Didn't tried local multiplayer yet, but survival mode is very enjoyable :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is just the right game for parties! So 4 people can play together at a time, but its funny to watch when you're waiting for your turn too. It's at the same time incredibly cute and bloody. Kinda in the same way it's easy to play but also quite challenging once you and your friends get good at it. It's meant for 4-player gameplay, but I managed to have fun playing alone with the bots. There's a solo mode too with steam Leaderboards, which is nice. Menus overall could be better, yes, but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and damn quick arena one-stick shooter with beautiful art, character & interface design and fitting music (8-bit styled yet not tiresome, very smooth and different). It's got high quality engineworks - no lags experienced at all! Action is all about adorable porcupines getting dramatically bald and now they fight for survival with one needle left each... you shoot it in the direction you move and the 2d pseudo-phisics here is totally allright! The point is you have to collect your shot…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Porcunipine, a little indie title from Big Green Pillow, this game offers hours and hours of cat & mouse action. Simply pure fun. Controls are simple, one can move or shoot in only 8 directions. Vertically up and down, horizontally left and right, and 4 diagonals in between. The responsiveness is superb, as is well needed in a game where timing, reaction and accuracy are of the utmost essence. Best played using controllers however, keyboard controls must be a nightmare, i can imagine. It's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So, I'm actualyl just gonna steal someone else's review because it's exactly what this is: "You just run around a tiny square arena shooting a single quil to 1-hit each other. It can bounce off walls and hit you too. Thats the entire game"
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think hedgehogs are better
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so strange… You will shoot your horn in order to kill the other players. Absolutely weird, but fun for a couple of hours. It is equally hilarious and violent as it is stupid. 10€ is way too expensive for such a cheap party game though.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You just run around a tiny square arena shooting a single quil to 1-hit each other. It can bounce off walls and hit you too. Thats the entire game, no added mechancs or anything else. Theres 2 game modes you can play with bots, no single player, no online multiplayer. I experienced everything this game had to offer in less than 10 minutes and was already bored. 4/10.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just played for my channel and OMG! THIS GAME IS AWESOME! For a lover of bomberman games, this game is perfect!Of course instead of guys exploding each other, you have porcupines throwing spikes at them. The mechanic is easy and thats make de game fun. So get this game, get your friends and play this! You will not regret :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple game, with few selection of maps with 3 gamemodes, horde, king of the hill, arena. You basically just shoot your horn, pick it up to kill bots and that's about it really. 15 bucks is criminally overpriced, get it on discount like right now for 90% off. (I'm giving a thumbs down as the game does not worth 15 bucks at all.)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PORCUNIPINE Got this basically for Free.. Seems like a kids game for sure.. the problem with that is the amount of Gore and Death in this game..Also lacking maps and play tactics. Very Very Basic Game. Spent 20 mins playing 4 or 5 matches against AI and i can honestly say this games worth about 0.50$ 5 / 10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent couch game and also a good single player game! Easy to pick up and play but hard to master. Gameplay is a big hilarious anarchy on the screen but skill is required to predict the trajectories as spikes fly everywhere. Many game modes and interesting achievements to grab. Package is small and comes with a decent price tag. Just for single player the 9.99e price is tad high but even a bit discounted it is easily worth even as single player.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple fun game. Single player consists of killing enemies with your quill and collecting the skulls of your enemies while more enemies spawn. Try to get a high score on the leader board. Multiplayer has decent ai.. I found it kind of hard but I didnt play it very long. you can play as teams with or without ai. Game has several maps with different gimmicks for each. After trying this game local co-op I think game equals morethan the sum of its parts... Or for lack of better words, It is very…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, cute looking party game that has the gimmick that you will get killed by your own shots a lot. It does not have a lot of depth, but it's okay to play every once in a while, especially with kids or people that aren't gamers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I first played this game at Play Blackpool, just before it was released, and after just a few minutes, I knew it was an excellent party game along the lines of Chompy Chomp Chomp and Bomberman. I thoroughly recommend this as a fantastic pick up and play party game. I had trouble getting the multiplayer to work with generic USB controllers (even with the x360ce software) but with 4 Xbox 360 controllers, it works a treat with no configuration needed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game! A lot of fun playing this. Very nice gameplay with a great and fun idea! Recommended 100%!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excelente party game to play with your friends. Much fun very wow
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun top-down arcade game. Definitely recommended as a time waster or something to just play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Follow our [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/36214917/]Curator Group for more reviews Porcunipine is an arena combat game where you and your friends try to hit each other with quills. The core gameplay is built around dying in a single hit, and needing to pick up your quill after shooting. This keeps the game fast paced and the stakes high. It’s a fun concept for a game, but it isn’t expanded on and only feels like the framework of a game. Quills bounce off walls, but aside from…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The core gameplay mechanics are very solid. You shoot a spike to kill a player The player dies, leaves a skull, you must collect it to score points The spike can ricochet off walls and obstacles which creates a fun mechanic you can get killed by your own spike BUT The gameplay does not have enough depth to it. There's no dodging, parrying, blocking, or powerups. The game becomes boring after few matches.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game, but I always have a hard time getting it to recognize all four of my controllers. Since the only multiplayer this game has is local, I expect it to handle 4 Xbox 360 controllers without any issues. I don't think that's too much to ask. If I see an update that addresses this issue, I will gladly recommend this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Did much research before reviewing this game. Learned that the porcupine mating ritual involves a vicious battle—and urination on the female. Having only played a few single player rounds there are no golden showers to be found yet. Time will tell. Got happy when Curve Digital popped on the screen They always deliver a fun time. The production is slick and it should be played with other members of your squad. You are a no nonsense porcupine with hairloss and it is good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is everything a party game needs to be! Super simple controls, hilarious characters, and relatively short rounds. Easy for anyone to pick up and play without needing in-depth instructions. I really can't get over how great the character design is- I love the green guy and the blue guy. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so boring I couldn't even force myself to play the 'singleplayer mode' for long enough to leave a review—I had to idle it in the background for five more minutes. This game has less interactivity than Tagin' Dragon on the NES. It has less interactivity than a single Fall Guys minigame. It has less interactivity than Pong. I got this game as part of a mystery bundle. I already owned the other game, which means I paid in total about $3.00 for this game, and I still feel ripped off…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is yet another retro 2D pixel arena brawler, not even an indie one as they have a separate publisher, where you control a single quilled porcupine and you must shoot your quill at enemy players/AI. Your quill can bounce off surfaces and if it hits you, you die. Because you only have one shot you have to go retrieve it so you can shoot again. That's all there is to this. Let's go over the train wreck as it happened. Retro pixel graphics, despite being released at least 15 years after…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's ok but this is to simple game and with not enough content to play if for more than couple minutes in small bursts, one trick pony.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought htis hoping it would be the next Towerfall type single screen fight club my friends and I could enjoy. It's not. It's really quite boring, the games mechanic is while not technically broken, just boring. If you enjoy these sorts of games, most especially to play with friends, there are at least ten other better single screen multiplayer games you should be playing before you even begin to consider this. I think I even got it in a bundle, there really isn't a price point where this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am not sure if it's worth the FULL price. Well. Maybe it does. But the game itself is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awesome. I got it in my wishlist since forever and I just played it with my brother. Tight controls, awesome chip tune music and a lot of ROFL moments. RECOMMENDED! :) PS: I am actually shocked of how little reviews this game has. People; if you enjoy local multiplayer games, support the developers leaving a good review! :)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried it, quit it, and wrote this review: "Way too plain and unoriginal to leave a trace in a world filled of amazing multiplayers". For the first time, Steam didn't allow my review to be published because I hadn't played the game for more than 5 minutes. It felt like longer. I actually had to reinstall it, play a bit more (actually giving it another chance) and go back here. I didn't change mind.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When you have no other way to dodge than moving at normal speed, have 8-way directional aiming and can only throw your horn once (having to wait for it if it misses), you are in for a boring game session.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hey everyone and this is my review about the game! This is a Local Arena game. Interface/Menu/Settings Funny menu music. You are only able to toggle the Music volume. You are only able to toggle the sound volume. There are MANY resolution sizes. You can switch between the qwerty or the azerty keyboard controls. You are able to play the game with a controller. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED for better gameplay. There is practice mode. About the game. The game is very easy to understand. You play…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is port from Kongregate. You are a balding porcupine with only 1 deadly quill on your head. You fire that quill at enemies by bouncing it off walls and then picking it up. Once the enemy dies, you pick it up its skull to gain points. The game keeps on going with more enemies of increasing difficulty. There are a few other modes that you can play but they are not online multiplayer, only local hotseat. It seems to be best played with a controller. PROS 1. Simple Actions WASD to move and J…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun game. I like the idea of a physics-shooter where you have to go back and pick up your projectile instead of ot her shooting games where you just spam. Although the game feels unfinished. Maybe add more features like online multiplayer and maybe get extra points when you kill an enemy whith a needle that bounced against the wall. Although you can't really get the full gameplay unless you have a friend or family member nearby, you atleast have practice mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great couch game! I never thought I would be able to commit suicide so many times in one game. The mechanics are extremely simple to pick up and anyone can play. The rounds are fairly fast paced and the multiple levels allow for different challenges. Definitely has large amounts of replayability and I will be revisting it for another session soon! If you are interested in some more gameplay footage here is a link! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fg-e2ikkPt4
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent fun if you have three friends to play with. Simple and fast paced. Four player coop video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_xVLmjdLOg
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great local multiplayer game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this game for 0.99 through Fanatical's bundle offer.. and that is more than it should cost.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and responsive, and consistently fun. As with many local multiplayer games, single player is non-existent, but it makes for some solid local battles. Porcupine is reminiscent of the old Atari 2600 tanks game. Quite fun in short bursts. I would suggest this title if you can purchase at a reasonable price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cannot play without controller
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing game for playing with friends :D Would love if they give an online multiplayer update for this <3

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Porcunipine is a competitive local multiplayer arena game developed by Big Green Pillow and published by Curve Games that turns simple mechanics into an intense and surprisingly addictive party experience. At first glance, the game appears lighthearted and playful thanks to its colorful pixel-art visuals and adorable animal-inspired characters, but beneath its charming presentation lies a fast-paced battle system built entirely around precision, timing, and quick reactions. Designed primarily…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If chaotic coop or singleplayer game is what you are looking for - then this is it! Love it, achievements are also fun to play for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just a boring puzzle game thats not worth the price and not worth playing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1 dollar of fun... no more to spent than 1 dollar
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Silly and competitive fun for a local group, but a little bit overpriced for what you get. Still, there's a number of maps and 3 different game modes, including a solo/co-op survival mode. If you're into these types of party games, get it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Better with controller.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A little game with fast, simple and entertaining gameplay, controls are good!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite boring game play. It's well made, from sound effects to visuals, but unfortunately not fun to play.

Theres 3 modes to it: 1- Practice mode(Could be called survivor mode too in my opinion) 2- Arena mode 3- Last man standing There are several maps you can play on. You can pick however you can choose. In Team mode or Single mode, with or without bots, and for how long will a round last (3-5min on arena mode) In Last man standing you can pick to play with or without helmet(gives you 1 more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Phenomenal local multiplayer. The simple gameplay makes the game easy to pick up. Such a cute looking game quickly gets filled with competitiveness and expletives. it is also a good choice for achievement hunters because most of the achievements are easy to get and the hardest one in my opinion is that you have to play the game for 48 hours which you can get by just being afk in game.
