22 of 22 · most liked firstReview as of 16-Apr-2022 Intro An interesting puzzle solving platformer What I like - Can be done in 1 run - Alot of secrets to be unlock - Puzzles are ranging from beginner to intermediate - interesting concept of reversing time - I like the setting of the story and how the protag's involvement is - Ending does indicate as though there's a second game, or more chapters What I don't like - there's not much communication between the devs and community in discuession - There's bugs…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game. Needs polishing, specially with the parkour and enemies, both are kinda inconsistent (jumps feel kinda weird and mines sometimes don't explode when shot) Overall a decent puzzle game with interesting mechanics
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As an avid fun of short one-off puzzle games, this one caught my eye with its aesthetic and seemingly somewhat unique concepts of cloning with actions. I stopped at around 3/4 of the 20 levels however because it became so incredibly tedious and lacking. The first handful of chambers were enjoyable enough, introducing new concepts to work with. But around level 12 and after, it turns into a mix of trial & error and repeatedly shooting buttons or jumping on platforms to get through larger and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Split is a very interesting game. The artstyle and music are really unique and put you in the right mood for a nice puzzle game experience! There's a big amount of secrets to be discovered and finding them feels rewarding. I feel like the earlier levels are more inspired then the later ones but overall is a nice experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're a fan of games like Portal and Ghostrunner I think you will be pleasantly surprised by the great work that's on display in this game. The visuals are great and each level has something to gawk at, especially if you are a fan of cyber punk aesthetics. The music is very chill and perfect for the cyberpunk vibe, harkening very closely to that of Blade runner's soundtrack. My biggest complaint is that the game is very short at the moment, but the devs have said they are planning to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Completed in one sitting. The game itself is visually appealing, the level design is clean and movement of the character is fluid, well paced and difficulty of the levels scale and features several different types of puzzles. It requires you to use the abilities you learn along the way, using them together in many of the levels. Split itself is a very good game, however I am on the fence about if I think its worth it. If you enjoy platforming and solving puzzles then you'll very much enjoy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i had high hopes for this game. i love portal, and the mechanics looked interesting. at the start, the story was kinda interesting, kinda iffy, but alright. the puzzles tended to be interesting, with different mechanics introduced, and some decently cool moments. some of the environments were pretty cool too. unfortunately, this game was much less than i hoped for. i had mouse sensitivity issues thought the whole game, the subtitles didn't match the va, they stopped all together halfway…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too much dialog and story for a simple puzzle game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad game with interesting puzzle ideas, but the overall feel of the puzzle mechanics is tedious. The level design is okay but also makes you feel disoriented, especially with the weird texture choice. And the story itself is a miss for me, especially the start that, outright confused me and bored me with useless dialog. As of now, the game does require some more polish especially in the story design and a bit in level redesign area, but other then that, the base idea of the game is solid…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is riddled with bugs, the story is simply uninteresting and makes no sense from the beginning, the voice acting is unsynchronised with the subtitles, the game tells the story by putting a picture up and then let the characters talk, the settings are not working and after the tenth level the voice acting just stops for good. Most importantly after the tenth level the game stops from being this interesting concept about making clones of yourself to solve riddles to you making Nonogramms…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Strange and wacky game. A lot of levels are way too dark, lacking lighting, can barely see anything. (No flashlight) Some features were cut out of the game or donwngraded it seems, trailer shows your blaster have a cool effect, yet in reality you shoot a very simple looking line of light... Second half of levels look like they were put completely randomly. With BS and useless "secrets". Last puzzle of level 12 (Red, yellow and purple shapes) have contradicting clues??? Nice f--k up, Devs...…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome logic game! I love it ^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you hate platforms that pose as a puzzle game stay away half of the "puzzles" are make this jump with 3 spare pixels to jump to this next one, the actually puzzles are grate just too much stupid platforming
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the game to level 10 and get hit with a glitch every time I try yo play that level. Anytime I try to make a clone or rewind the game freaks out and I cant do anything until I force close the game and reopen it. Aside from that its a fun game so far! Once that bug is fixed I'm sure the rest of the game is going to be awesome!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was having fun until there were some glitches that break the game. I was unsure of how many playtests were there before the launch, but there is one huge bug that screws the time travel. On Level 10, when you try to travel through the floating passage, there is one point you need to travel back in time with clone. The problem is...how could the game be finished if I can't even use something that is essential to solve the puzzle of time travel w/ or wo/ clone without crashing the game?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is SUUUPER buggy. The game requires you to hold keys down often but in my experience it would randomly start ignoring your held key presses. this meant i'd stop walking randomly, stop having forward momentum for jumps (and fall to my death), the rewind time ability would kick me out in the middle of rewinding all the time, and all of the puzzles that had to do with walking a clone over to a button using time rewind broke, spitting a bunch of random clones out all over the room. couple…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Split is a fun romp involving clones, time travel, and lazors! Pretty winning combo if you ask me. Pros: - It runs pretty smooth - Lots of secrets to explore - Fun unique gameplay Cons: - the story portions dialog is not delivered the very best - It doesn't explain all the mechanics the best - Some of the puzzles feel more tedious then fun Overall it's a well built game and has some great puzzles. I give it 7 clones out of 10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely had fun playing! It was something different and I liked it! Would recommend to anyone who's looking for unique games to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well... this is just trash, there is no option to configure mouse sensitivity for your taste, or at least I couldn't find it...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unsure what was the game like during early access, but not it plays fine. I like the puzzles (except last task at Level 14 that's unnecessarily sophisticated - here I almost retired the game with a negative review), artistic style and also the stress-free cyberpunk environment we don't get that much. Also like the cloning mechanism a lot. In general, the game is better than 50 %, and I rate it 6/10 - will play if in the mood. With that being said: * the story is extra generic with unconvincing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i tried the demo and it was great! so i bought the game. unfortunately right after that, i got a bug that makes the game unplayable - my camera is VERY zoomed in, so my field of view is restricted to maybe 1/4 of what it usually is. i tried reinstalling, looking for field of view settings, looking online if anyone else had something similar, but nothing helped. I was really excited to play it, so it was pretty sad. (if anyone has a fix - please help!)
