60 of 72 · most liked firstThis is obviously a cellphone/tablet port. That wouldn't be a bad thing. However, the original game was obviously a classic free2play bait where the difficutly rises faster than your ability to fight. Pretty soon, you have to buy more powerful weapons and abilities, rather than wait for them to unlock in the course of the game. I personally hate this kind of games and it's reason enough for me to rate them abysmally low. Here, however, we have something worse. The whole thing got ported without…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You port a game from mobile to PC, ask for five bucks, remove the micro-transactions and forget that your whole game is Pay2Win, so without micro-transactions it's pretty much unplayable after the first 'level'. Of course you could wait a week and grab the daily rewards to get the gold needed to buy new items and upgrades, but that's exactly the reason WHY mobile games are F2P and have micro-transactions. The game itself is a dumbed down ARPG which could be fun if not for the really obvious…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a port of a mobile game yet still manage to be somewhat fun... for just about an hour, and then you realize how terrible everything is. Pro: -There's a bunch of unlockables. -Combat while simple is somewhat satisfying. -The environment's pretty good, I really like that tokyo arcade. Con: -Almost all unlockables are pointless. -Combat isn't balanced (instant-gibs, stunlocks & unavoidable damage?). -Game isn't finished. -TERRIBLE scaling. -LOTS of pointless grind. -LOTS of crashes…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it is not so bad people are complaining about the port seriously its okay ..... it wont be the game of the year but man u pay 5 $ for a game so dont ask to much . u play the game with only mouse and space bar , AWSD to move and QER for skills . There is the storyline quests , dailies quests and infinite random maps to complete to get rewards. You farm gear and farm the mats to craft enchants on them. Its simple but its nice . i would give it a 3 out of 5 and there is at least 10-20 hours of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →quick and fun. and addicting. NO micro-transactions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An awareness message: crashes on AMD GPU.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I honestly wasn't expecting much, but SoulCraft is just fun enough to play in short bursts. It is very easy to pick up and put down being that the average quests takes 3 to 5 minutes to complete. The crafting system and items/equipment aren't nearly as fleshed out as most other hack n' slash rpgs, but they add a decent enough touch. The game does get very repetitive though. There aren't many level designs and after killing the same 5 mob types for an hour boredom will start to set in. Don't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art direction and gameplay gives a good first impression. The short levels and simple gameplay makes a good job at getting you caught in the beginning of the game. But soon it comes to a full stop as you realize how arbitrary the leveing is, how there are no more levels/monsters/bosses/items. Everything is reused. There is an utter lack of content. This game is completely unfinished and manages to hide that fact for about an hour. Avoid completetly or buy only if cheaper than $1.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worst port i have ever seen, not worth the money. The graphics and the gameplay is awful.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’m a fan of action RPGs. I’ve poured hundreds upon hundreds of hours into the likes of the Diabo, Torchlight and Titan Quest franchises to name just three. I like too many games across too many genres to be able to claim that I’m a master of any one genre, I’m closer to a jack of all trades, but if there’s one that I could almost make that claim for it would be action RPGs. Therefore you can imagine my curiosity and my interest when I got the opportunity to cover Soulcraft for Steamified. Of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looked like it might just scratch that particular part of my lizard brain, so despite the bad reviews I gave it a chance. Wish I hadn't. Little over an hour into it I hit that difficulty bump that others make mention of, and with the game really being kind of a vapid, low budget (even for a built for mobile title) piece of mostly ♥♥♥♥ I had little motivation to push through it. Aside from some charming vanilla WoW ripoff art direction SoulCraft offers nothing pleasing. Had the devs…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile games on PC are certain disaster no matter how you dice em.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has been abandoned by the dev. Though you can still play through the main campaign and some extras, there are a number of features that utilize daily counters. However with the game abandoned, these features never unlock on the next day - the counters remain infinite. And for those few who like to pay for in game currency to help get items faster, the ability to purchase said currency is no longer available. Not a negative for myself, but can be for others. The gameplay itself is…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →tl;dr: Shoddy, low-effort port of a pay-to-win mobile game that still has its microtransaction-gated content and balancing. Not that there are microtransactions in this version, but rather it is very clearly designed to liberate you of your wallet. High level "content" is gated behind high level gear, which is obtainable only by spending the one currency which is purposely designed to be hard to obtain -- unless you fork over your hard-earned savings. On the very first mission, after…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pay to Win ARG for mobile, without the p2w elements on the pc port. The last 20 levels are pointless, the loot system sucks, there are bugs. Took 33 hours to get 100% achievements, why do I do this to myself?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I picked this up from a Humble Bundle so I wasn't expecting much. Besides from being an obvious port from tablet/mobile the game is okay. Nothing special, it just lacks depth that you would expect from a PC game. I put around an hour into it which was enough for me. It's a pretty standard hack and slash RPG. Each level I did was completed in less than 2 minutes and during that time I was just running around with right click and spamming left click to attack. You do have some abilities but…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →English review below the French one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Typical mobile game. Although it was sold on PC, you have to pay to win the game as on cellphone. Daily reward is very small. A lot things need to be unlocked by using real money. CPU has strange noise when open this game. NOT recommend.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a port from android version. There is a bug with daily gold claim, also the model was pay-to-win. At android version you need to pay real money in option to advance more your character and to gain strongest weapons. In pc version you gain to slow gold. There is no opton for paying real money to purchace gold. The only option u have is to play the dayly quests and u gain every 5 quests about 50-60 gold. I do not recoment this game or any game for this reason. Pay-to-win model is not…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like wasting money and support stupid people who do not care about what they cause in this life, just buy this game. It is cheap and looks innocent as hell, but I suppose you can spare your budget to save 2-3 kitty's life instead. Well. There are bugs in the game. Once you are stuck in the middle of the map for no reason, your all efforts is fukced up. So, do not play this game but spending money is all upto yours. This is my re-edited opinion after playing the game for more than 10 hrs…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're om PC. Don't bother with this. It's a good game but only if you playing it on mobile.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SoulCraft is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. This is a nasty, MTX infested cash shop P2W mobile app. But they removed the MTX, without changing the game difficulty, rendering it unplayable (because without spending money to power up, the game is too difficult... mobile app devs are disgusting, and there's a special place in developer hell for them). From a technical perspective, as a mobile app,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first I was put off by the "like this on facebook for gold", the timers, the obvious mobile port, the too easy difficulty and the fact that the tutorial bits were along the lines of "mission: walk into the portal right in front of you" "you did it! congratulations on entering the portal!". I did like the slick graphics and sound though. Later on I obtained BATTLE TZIKEN (chicken) and all became right with the world. Buy this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If they had tried harder, the game would have looked like something. Full of bugs and quite unbalanced and some things don't work. At first it was interesting then it turned into farming. If they hadn't made a guide on Steam, I would have lost a lot of hours in the game for just a few levels. And for the other achievements. Lazily made game from phone to computer again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too simple for my tastes, feels like a facebook game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a buggy and repetitive game that could really do with some higher quality textures and a bigger variety of enemies.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Soulcraft sucks. I ended picking this up in a bundle and based on the screenshots I thought that it might be a fun, simple action RPG and although simple there is no fun to be had here. The game was made for mobile devices and really doesn't translate well to PCs. The biggest problem is the entire game appears to have been designed around grinding and using microtransactions to lessen the grueling grind. The problem here is that they took out the microtransactions and gave a lot of starting…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent port of an Android game. This game is great to kill time when you don't have much time alotted to play anything at all.. if that makes any sense. Somewhat recommended if on sale or free.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Started out a fun little game, played twice, got stuck in scenery twice and had to quit game twice. mobile port, come back tomorow for new stuff kinda thing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first sight this game seems too simple but it have a lot of customization and levels, I enjoy this game a lot and I recommend it! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3wRUbL5X9do
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For a game at 80% off with the cost ARS$ 13,59 i am recommended it. But at the same time I don't, playing in a ultra wide screen hurt the eyes so much, the wording/notification are so HUGE!!! that i blocked 1/3 of the screen!!! I can't really see what am i hitting most of the time with the none stop pop up of notification!!! They should make it smaller or transparent!!! With the exploit hack of reset and getting a rest gold of 1000, that's a point at to the recommendation Most of my time…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →4/10 a short watered down diablo decent for the mobile game that it is and i also own/played it on my phone just not worth playing on pc do you guys not have phones???
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update 12/15/15: Though my initial review of the game and its mechanics stands, some glaring issues have forced me to revise it to a not recommended. That said it's a middling not-recommended and if the game and its mechanics appeal to you, chances are there's still fun to be had. The issues are that there are a number of gameplay bugs and a handful of bugs for achievements (won't pop-up no matter what, and this isn't just me, they're widely documented) that really bring it down. Normally this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun casual game, but don't expect great depth from it. The game has played fine so far without using cash to purchase rewards. The game plays well for the 5 dollar price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont know how to explain it but i hate it
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is mobile-platform microtransaction whalebait, trying to be something else. It's trying to blend the Warcraft aesthetic with a dumbed-down version of Diablo play. The real purpose of the game would have been to goad you into spending money on currency and resources... with the microtransactions taken away, the game now just gives you those in spades. As a result, the game never has to be challenging -- the response to any difficulty is to upgrade your character, rather than develop skill,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game..has a nice amount of action. I nominated this game for "The Soul Of Vitruvius" award. I hope you had fun with this game as much as I have.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Does not worth your time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →mediocre RPG game and terrible port from mobile!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like darksiders and want to play a watered down version of that this game is just right for you. Everyone else is better off playing darksiders. This game hads a locked view and is very repeditive. and the charactor has a limited number of abilitys for an angel gardian.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommend? No. Pros: - Kinda nice graphics, warcraft-esque. Cons: - Mobile port. - Bugs! BUGS! - REALLY linear. No gameplay.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →SoulCraft is a RPG action game where mankind is on the verge of destruction as you play as an Angel as you battle hoards of demons using a variety of weapons. After each level you collect souls and coins which you can use to upgrade your equipment to make you stronger and gain new godly abilities. Graphics- Decent Soundtrack- Okay Audience - Adults or Teens Difficulty- Not too difficult but bosses can be hard Story- Alright story Game time- Pretty decent length Price- It's not that…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →nice game when u just rage at cs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just enjoyed it...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am not sure if this game is a port from a console or mobile device but it sure looks like it. Probably a mobile device since it has all sorts of resources, daily login and other such specific items of pay to win games. The graphics are nice but this is just about the only reason someone should consider playing it. The gameplay is simplistic and the menus are not meant for PC users. Too bad that the devs spent so much time on a dubious port when they should have refined it on the original…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a mobile RPG ported to PC, is simple and quite fun, but do not expect a gem on this one
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun, a little bit of a grind; difficult, but winnable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Whatever u try, alt-tab is impossible... :) Also there are lots of bugs and it's completely unbalanced at the last chapter.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game doesn't even open. Using windows 10 on Surface Pro 2. REVISED: Reverted back to Windows 8 and it works fine now. Great Game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An easy to pick up and play Hack n Slash loot collectiong adventure with a lot more depth than you would think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhNzcnM1oKY Now it's time to fulfil your destiny: Do your duty, be a legendary hero and fight for the balance of life itself and be a beacon in this darkest of times in the action RPG SoulCraft. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →simple time killer for offline days
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile slop. Confusing as heck menus that I still can’t figure out. Not worth your time or money.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are many things wrong with the game. First and foremost the UI. It's very inconsistent. Sometimes the A button is proceed, sometimes is cancel, the Y button doesn't always appear unless you press some other button, etc. Very quirky and difficult to navigate. Second, gold is necessary to progress, but you cannot earn it through the campaign, you must do daily quests outside of the main game. Third, the damage you take from some attacks is insane and without warning, almost random…
