Other times you go through 500 ideas and still don’t feel like you have found the one that is worthy of the game you created. The game is great. The team believes in it. But until the name clicks, it's not finished.

Use your minions to reach the number goal of the base. Score for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for presence. #Boardgame.

Aliens have a card that allows you to earn victory points without scoring them from bases, and Zombies allow you to retrieve cards from your graveyard pile. Won a whole game without bases, and was never allowed to again 😅

Its still a heck of a lot of fun and such a simple concept: choose two decks of characters and smash 'em together!

unlabelledView post →Riftbound It's what if Smash Up was a gambling game. Riftbound has maybe the best way any games had to encourage deck diversity at big events with their best of system. The reused runeterra art and skin arts are such broke behavior for a company who's whole business is making art.

It's not EDH (although it could be) but it is multiplayer. Think Smash Up if you've ever played that, but with MTG involved.

It’s a modern board game, in that you buy it at a board game store style of place, and it’s a card game in that most of everything in the box is cards, or tokens for keeping track of things on cards. Smash Up is a game that, in the context of the tabletop game niche, is the McDonalds cheeseburger of products. In the context of a…
