The mechanics of the game involves finding items, solving puzzles, lighting candles, and staying in the light to survive. If you have played any of the other games from this developer, you know what you are getting into. This game took just over 4 hours to complete. + The story is way above average for this genre. Coming to the conclusion of the game I felt like I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →POSITIVE POINTS: - It is set in the Lost Alone Ultimate universe! - The story of Luca, a man struggling to survive after losing his job and becoming embroiled in a nightmare when he takes a new job, is intriguing and well-developed. - The game is designed to instil anxiety and fear, with a focus on psychological terror that knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. - A distinctive feature is the voice interaction, where the player's sounds and words can influence how the game plays out,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't Matter Games are one of my favorite horror games. I played the Lost Alone series, Who Knocks and Bloody Ink :3 Next is The Telephone and sadly last one. I'm looking forward to new games^^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved the first three Lost Alone games they were awesome when they came out, but my problem with these devs is that they started introducing new mechanics that ruined the game to me, like the clunky combat for example. I've been asking for manual saves or checkpoints too instead of these cassette tapes cause these games bug a lot of times and I lose my progress, but they keep doing this tape thing. My main complaint with the recent games is that they are.....literally the same everytime the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yeah I do love this game the fact that it uses your microphone and gives you jump scared at the same time is Soo cool if you scream and jump it will make the enemy know your there and watch you the puzzles are quiet decent challenging not easy and not hard I enjoyed the demo and got the game as soon as it came out it’s too good plus the price for the game is really decent
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was really fun however I wish the lights stayed on longer and a map would be helpful. It was perfectly creepy and the puzzles were pretty good, though this author's used them in some other games (piano for example). My only real complaint is the main enemy fight is extremely awkward. You have an axe that misses more than it connects and you end up bumping into him most of the time and it nearly instant kills you every time. Otherwise it was a pretty good very fun game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't really like that one. Story a bit too confusing. Fight too frustrating. Game gets repetative. This game is very similar to "lost alone", but I liked the latter and the telephone more.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've only been playing about an hour so far, but I am really liking it. I keep a running count of all of even the smallest problems I have with a game, and so far the count is at ZERO, which really almost never happens. A bit more detail into the game- the graphics are nice, but not stunning. I would say better than average though. It runs well. I'm getting 80-90 fps with all settings on extreme except global illumination I have at high. Setting that to extreme drops me to 30-40fps. I also have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I didn't even finish this. The jumpscares feel cheap, there's nothing really psychological horror about it, there's AI art everywhere, and the story isn't really that interesting beyond the setup. From what I found online I understand the developer is very passionate about what they make, and considering where they're from I feel it's possibly quite an achievement. Just don't expect something amazing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Daniele Doesn't Matter does it again with another psychologically horrifying addition to his game collection. In Bloody Ink you play as Luca, tasked with taking care of a burn victim (cleverly named after your Steam account name) whose wife perished in the fire that left him bed bound and hooked up to machines. Unravel the mystery behind the burn victim, the fire, and your part in correcting the tragedy. Do you like puzzles? Afraid of the dark? Love jump scares? Like a good mystery? You're…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art is AI generated, you can't tell me otherwise. Also why can't you examine ♥♥♥♥ in your inventory. The book puzzle is horrible without looking at the books themselves. Also who thought it was a good idea to use a "drag down out of inventory" for using ♥♥♥♥.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not gonna lie, I was skeptical about this game about 1 minute in when I realized it's the same developer as "Lost Alone: Ultimate" because I didn't really enjoy my experience with that game and the "style" of puzzles that are used. However, with the knowledge of that game, I quickly knew what I got myself into and adjusted my mindset immediately, which did help with the overall experience. As I streamed this game, myself and the community ended up really enjoying the scares, solved some puzzles…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DMG puts together another solid game in their progression of their style of survivor horror. Pros: -Solid length (~5.5 hours) for the price. -Fans of previous titles (Lost Alone, The Telephone) will enjoy this. -Similar features and gameplay of previous titles, but with the addition of the microphone gimmick and starting with a massive inventory are some changes made (I personally liked the limited inventory previously but this took some stress off of me lol) -Story is really good, well…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really like the game, had some help during my stream from "someone" who played it before ^^. Puzzles were awesome to figure out, glad I got some help with that. I do recommend the game to others ofcourse. I mostly play Horror games, and this one was so worth it. I constantly had a feeling something was about to go down, and when you were feeling a bit more relaxed that's when it happened. Good jump scares, awesome vibe and atmosphere!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DoesntMatterGames yet again doesn't let us down. With another installment into his wonderful horror game library he's brought us "Bloody Ink". Now it's not going to give you as many jump scares as previous games... but don't let that take away form your desire to play this game. The story is deeply woven... and the outcome you will perhaps not see coming until you reach the finale. It's a beautifully crafted tale... with element of horror deeply woven into it's seams. I cannot wait to see the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game! There are a few untimely deaths, but you get used to them after a while! I love the fact that when you are doing anything you can hear creaks and the wind blowing. It's very atmospheric, and I can't wait to try again. A great horror game! Right down to the owner of the house lying in his bed and his eyes follow you around!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bloody Ink, developed by Daniele Doesn't Matter and published by Doesn't Matter Games, is a psychological horror title that focuses heavily on atmosphere, tension, and emotional discomfort rather than direct confrontation or action-heavy survival mechanics. Built around exploration, environmental storytelling, and psychological pressure, the game aims to create fear through uncertainty and vulnerability. Instead of relying entirely on sudden scares or combat encounters, it builds horror…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game! A lot of puzzles that are straight forward, but you have to find the elements to complete. Jump scares are unpredictable. The story is good. Buy it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent puzzle spooky game, well executed and impressive coming from a solo dev. Jumpscares are well timed, atmo is continously tense and it has a solid story playing through. Good times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Find items & puzzle game that was genuinely really good. Its big gimmick is your character goes mad if hes in the dark so you have to turn lights on or light candles, the candles respawn pretty fast and while theres a item required to save, it to respawns pretty fast. The puzzles felt well explained (tho some were “you will find the solution later as a reward for finishing something else” but it did chain together from this quite well), there was a light sense of where to go next and even the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well done, as always with this developer! I love their games and this one has you questioning all of life itself. lol. One of my favorite makers. Scary, but not overwhelming with jump scares to desensitize you. The psychological aspect is awesome in this one for sure!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is my first play through of a DoesntMatterGames game! I enjoyed every second of this game. Daniele brought us an amazing story in "Bloody Ink" that not only jumpscares you but immerses you fully into the story. The game brings you into the shoes of the character. The ending is something I would say is truly unpredictable. I'm definitely going to play his other games as well! I highly recommend you buying and playing this game. It's a choice you won't regret!
