Tile capturing deck builder is a cool idea and it works well enough for what the game wants to be. I also feel like the game is either too easy or too hard, no encounter felt very good. Character unlocks happen through a Gacha system which is just the worst (thankfully not paid but I got duplicates on my first 3 pulls). Might revisit this if it gets more polish. A bit of difficulty tuning here and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s a Roguelike game similar to Slay the Spire, but with a very refreshing twist: the combat revolves around painting floor tiles. Each battle is a competition to see who can cover more ground with their color. I think this mechanic has massive potential; I haven't seen this kind of creativity in the genre before. The character designs are very clever, and there’s a great variety of enemies. However, there are still quite a few bugs at the moment. Also, as someone new to Roguelikes, I found…

Pretty slick looking-game with a really addictive gameplay mechanism/loop. www.youtube.com/watch?v=sHqQ... #gamesky #indiegame #firstlook

It also has bugs that prevent you from playing cards in certain fights, such as against the Kunoichi boss. When you leave and re-enter a fight, it starts from the beginning. The MTL being so inconsistent really hurts the gameplay, as it muddies the clarity of some mechanics. With all that said, this game is very enjoyable and satisfying to play, and there is so much complexity to be found in it.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun roguelite deckbuilder, a throwback to the Yu-Gi-Oh and Slay The Spire stuff. Lots of interesting tactics and builds. Good graphics, okay music and an interesting story. The only flaw that's here is the fact that the game is still buggy as hell as of May 2026. You'll sometimes get stuck or you won't be able to move your deck at all. That's a massive problem and I hope the devs will patch all of this. Also some enemies must be balanced... the standard red demon is insane and harder than any…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Legends is an ambitious roguelike deckbuilding game that distinguishes itself through an inventive territory-control system layered on top of traditional card combat. Developed by Unpixel Cloud Cedar Studio and published by Light Up Games, the game introduces a refreshing strategic dimension where success depends not only on the cards in a player's hand but also on how effectively they dominate space across the battlefield. This unique approach gives the game a distinct identity in a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A creature was made from parts of Into The Breach (or any turn based tactics game), Splatoon (area control), and Slay The Spire (basic game flow). That creature was Rainbow Legends. It was thoughtful and fun (great gameplay, great visuals and physicality), but didn't learn language very well (some wording that matches what you think they mean, but not what it says). The language issue is only minor, but I do hope they improve that. Even with that as an issue, I do easily recommend. It also has…

Instead of playing attacks and defends you're taking squares on the board while blocking your squares from being taken. Each card has its own layout where you might find a 3x3 less helpful than 9 in a line making the game inherently more complex than simply pumping numbers as you would in other games. Taking the complexity further, unlike STS your power cards called deployments here aren't simply permanent buffs the…

unlabelledView post →The core concept of the game is quite interesting, and it seems relatively well executed from my brief time with the game! so why the negative review? because the game is HORRIBLY translated, almost all the text is poorly structured, actively misleading, or just straight up not translated to a degree that is unplayable. if you happen to know whatever language the devs speak? it's probably a worthwhile game! but if you only know English like me, pass on it until and unless they fix the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very interesting roguelike, basically you fight over tiles on a grid and you do damage to the enemy if you have more points and you take damage if they have more points. You have attack, defence, buildings/summons, and buff cards, while enemies have different gimmicks, reactions, and their own buildings. I have only tried two of the playable armies (Blue and Pink) and only on the first difficulty but the game feels pretty unbalanced all over the place. Blue was very powerful from the start…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has a few issues that prevent it from being something I can wholeheartedly recommend. The first is the english translation, which is incomplete, inconsistent, and sometimes flat out wrong. Different cards with the same effects are translated differently, which can be pretty frustrating, and there are lots of places where the english translation is missing completely. As an aside, I have the volume turned down to 0, but there's one event on the map that plays volume anywhere, oddly…

The unique territory-control mechanic combined with deck building creates a genuinely fresh experience that stands out from typical roguelikes. I highly recommend this game for anyone looking for a well-polished and innovative strategy experience. [url=https://www.youtube.com/live/OcFvBWwI4CE?t=27m36s]Gameplay
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For now, it really needs some refining. The concept is there, the game, in theory, would be a lot of fun, but between limited explanations of what's going on, and translation issues (which could also be the cause of the problem), there are enough issues which make me just unable to enjoy the experience. Hopefully I'll be able to come back in future and change my opinion, but for now I couldn't recommend it unfortunately.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A perfect board based deckbuilder. There are so many characters, items, events and cards leading to so many playstyles with a ton of modifiers to switch up the game. The only flaw if any is that there isn't PVP because I can't imagine the replay value if it were added.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →CONS got to a fight that makes it where you literally cant target anything, and isnt fully explained as to why. but a few things arent fully explained properly half the game is in another language and isnt translated. which happens with about 5 events and 2 cards out of the small time i have gotten to play There have been some visual bugs but they aren't too bad overall. Some of the cards and upgrades seem vague but trial and error helps? PROS the characters are well done in an artstyle i…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not recommended as is, currently still not fully translated and random frame rate drops that shouldn't happen
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →claim the land with big number! very interesting deckbuilder with management of territory with a ebb and flow to it its nice
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's pretty fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unique rogue-like deckbuilder unlike anything else I've seen available on the market. Think a combination of Slay the Spire and 4X map control. UI and clarity still has room for improvement but the game depth has a lot of potential. Excited for future updates!
