It is hard to decide if this game should be recommended or not. It is basically a Dungeon Siege clone, albeit less polished. The interesting aspect is the decision between nature and technology the player has to take. Unfortunately, in the long run the whole setup gets somewhat boring and repetitive, with the game seemingly lacking some fine tuning, and the somewhat crappy inventory management being more annoying than necessary. On the plus side there is the character development/skill system.…

An amazing RPG. A few glitches that i've encountered : the teleport system being unstable and while teleporting to a specific location you can wake up in a totally different place, also there are some map glithes when enemies, your companions or even you can get stuck in certain spots being unable to move, though this can be fixed just with restarting the game. Despite of this insignifiant "problems" i found this game to be extremely entertaining. A lot of quest to be done, a wide variety of…

"Let's see ya dance, ya ugly scab!" I've started another game of D&D with some lovely friends of mine, and decided to play another bard. Meet Elias Silverfall, a dwarven sailor that's recently been taken off ship due to a very mysterious accident. He's off to make his own fortune, and survive.

DO NOT BUY !!!!!!! I really like the premise, for me Silverfall falls under the hack/slash rpg genre; it has character creation (female/male), ability to upgrade your character as you choose, armour/weapons choices. I tried hard to like this game, but where it fails horribly : - is the insane and extremely difficult controls. I found it hard to wrap my head around the mini map and the orientation of the whole game. Plus the character is prone to getting stuck in the most awkward moments. -…

Man, this game is kind of a train wreck of bad game design. Enemies level up with you making leveling up irrelevant. If you are level 10, that first zombie you killed is now level 10. Enemies constantly respawn making it impossible to clear out any section of the map. The camera control is twitchy and getting it to run smooth on any computer made after 2010 takes considerable effort. Dying makes you lose all equipped gear and leaves you running around in a thong making you look like a lady-boy…

Diable-like. Enemies level up when you level up. One save slot, you start from your village, in order to go on a mission you have to go through the same places you already visited time and again, fighting enemies that leveled up like you, as a result you'll wait hours for your mana and life to refill after every combat. Waste of time in 2017.

I own the hard copy of this game, and played the hell out of it, when I was young with my friend Christopher. the times we had with this game was awesome. The game can be tricky for new comers and experienced gamers alike as the interface and controls are a bit clunky. like most top down dungeon crawler lootfests you move your character by clicking the mouse where you want them to move, Or you can hold the mouse button down and drag it to move automatically. The graphics in the game are nice,…

I wouldn't recommend this game at full price. I picked it up for less than $4, and it is totally worth it. You can easily get in 20 hours of enjoyable gameplay solo. The skill master rapidly drains your money if you don't plan out your characters, but I just started new if I didn't like a character by level 15. If you have a lan connection for multiplayer, then I'd say you will triple your game time. The controls can be difficult to work with, but targeting is simple, and hotkeys will allow you…

I want to like this... I love action RPGs. But this game is just beyond punishing. You qute literally die every 2 minutes. The click detection is appalling as well. It's built like an MMO, but plays like a single player game and unfortunately makes the worst of both worlds (enemies that are all back when you reload is a prime example. Makes for a LOT of grinding). I also have the PSP version and to be honest, it's the better of the 2.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! The reviews from people who actually have this game running are mixed but after thinking "I'll give it a go." I found that the game would not run correctly and that there is no support. The website just tries to sell you stuff and looks like it was put together by a 6 year old. Plenty of tech issues on the forums with no solutions. I personally am unable to even get the game past the menu. May as well have thrown my money in the toilet...

Silverfall, a once glorious city, lies in the fantastical Kingdom of Nelwë, where the forces of Technology and Nature are strongly opposed. Symptoms of this terrible conflict have begun to manifest physically as melded cyberbiologic organics and living steam-driven automatons. Drag your hero from the pits of this world and craft him into a mighty champion that can oppose the planet-choking Order of Nothingness. Freedom to evolve in either the technological or spiritual paths is in your hands…

The game might have had several unique ideas and features, but it is still as broken as it was on its retail release. It is ridden by technical issues that can render it completely unplayable. And sadly, there seems to be no support for it.

Warning: Broken Game! This game has design/implementation defects that will render this unplayable for many gamers. The game doesn't work on modern builds of Windows 10/11, requiring dependencies like legacy versions of PhysX and other components the developer refuses to supply with the game, despite knowing the game doesn't work without them, by design. Silverfall is an ancient and broken game from 2007. It's a whopping 17 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for…

I had to download a certain software that added another gaming app for Silverfall to run then the app stops working and so does my game. So I go to redownload and the app is no longer needed and no i hav e a game that I can't play anymore nor redownload. Yes, i have tried removing it from my library and my whole computer (even tried it on a diferent computer still nothing). As for the game it's very slow paced and the style is nto so much my taste but good for a very weak D&D type.

I knew from the ratings this game was badly received and still decided to try, because I hope it was similar to the first dungeon siege game which I loved. I'm not sure why dungeon siege was so awesome (there virtually was no plot after all, it was supremely linear hack and slash and yet.... fond memories). The graphics aren't that fantastic, controls are iffy, AI is stupid, plot is, erhm, and the dialogues are horrible. If you REALLY have nothing better to do with your time, then by all means..

Silverfalll, developed by Monte Cristo delivers an average action RPG experience. To it's credit it includes a wide variety of items, interesting stylized graphics, as well as complex crafting and skill trees. Unfortunately, at high widescreen resolutions, the onscreen text and menus are incredibly small making it difficult and tedious to read quests and navigate the various character screens. In addition, the camera control, while allowing 360 degree movement, is not automatically tethered…

I first got this on CD back in the day because of a flashy box art and never got past the swamp - it was that hard for some reason yet captivating to this day. Found it online years later and finally got around to power through just recently, and what can I say: this is a bad game. Once you get a healer companion (almost at the start) the whole thing turns into a series of LMB-clear mob pack with autoattack-rest-repeat. There's no gameplay, just constant LMB. No story, funky visuals though.…

Polished visually, completely lacking in refinement. This game is ultimately a ruse. A mirage. At first glance it's beautiful. Visually, the combination of good graphics and Cel Shading is stunning. Quickly, however the true gamer realizes the actual gameplay is flawed beyond reproach. Lackluster clunky combat, an archaic quest system and VERY liminted voice acting make this game mediocre at best. A poor ecuse for an action RPG, and a poor excuse for either genre, period. Official Multiplayer Servers seems to be permanently down, seems also that you'll not find support form producers, so this game isn't what it is promised to be. So if you search something like a multiplaying based on servers I suggest you to get something different (I would point to Titan Quest). That's a shame because multiplaying would have been great in this game. There are also other bothering problems that you can ignore, like getting stuck in simple little rocks or can't jump down from…

Budget hack-n-slash with no big ambitions. No crazy original mechanics, no revealations for the genre, but I am satisfied with what I've paid for. You've got standard package of clicking to death hordes of mobs, collecting thier loot, occasionally leveling up and distributing skill and attribute points, rinse-repeat. There are no classes (your racial choice could influence your path with a skill or two though), and you're free to follow any skill tree from the start, though due to a few…

UInfinished game plain and simple. I instantly regretted buying this game and the expansion which also felt 1/4th baked. Everything about the game feels like a beta. The graphics are wonky and often buggy, the art feels unfinished. The Sound is acceptable, but nothing near great. I played Silverfall when I was teenager, I didn’t finish it back then and decided to grab it and give it another try, because it was dirt cheap (like 2€). And boy, oh boy… the game’s got its problems. First of all, the devs decided to go fully 3D, so you can set your camera at whatever angle and as close to the character as you wish. This helps a bit with the navigation as the game’s terrain in some locations is quite a hindrance or should I say a mess, because the geometry is not only ugly,…

Pros: - Beatiful hub cities/camps, like clockwork city - 2 sides of proggression nature or technology, you cant have both and you get a skill tree and specific weapons and armors pursuing one of the sides which gives you some customization and replayability - Decent skill system allowing you different playstyles Cons: - Horrible…

The game is aesthetically brilliant and has a lot of customisation so far as unique character builds and playstyles are concerned, which in my opinion, ought to keep the more invested players occupied, but functionally the game is rather messy and clunky. A nice little game, for nostalgia alone. It's not that bad as the negative reviewers say. It worked well for me, apart for 5 crashes in all the playthrough, but considering the age, I can't blame that. Dragon Age Origins is unplayable compared to this and it's way more recent. I had fun with it. Worth the money. Most of the bad reviews are from players that didn't bother to read the texts from quests, and yes, it does have wide screen support and high resolution.
