60 of 202 · most liked firstI absolutely love the art in this game and the story was cute. If you enjoy casual point and click games this will make you smile. The game was pretty easy to get through without much challenge as the points of interest light up on screen. Making it pretty hard to miss things. There is at least one missable achievements due to needing to click on something before reaching a specific point in Chapter 2. But if you want a quick 100% Hanni has written a guide to zip you through. The toughest…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art is amazing! But that's it. The voices are SO annoying I had to turn them off. And after 30 minutes I already had enough of the super long screen transitions, a 10 second animation to walk in or out a screen really is to much!!!! The pretty lures you in, but it's a trap.

unlabelledView post →If this game actually was the way the trailers suggested, I'd love it. It promised to be a soothing little retreat, and the visuals and music are indeed lovely and relaxing. I wouldn't mind that there's little or easy gameplay, and the absence of conflict or tensions that's been criticised was exactly what I was looking for. But then it started out with family members yelling at each other, and the main story seemed to be about a creature who constantly gets upset and makes shrieking sounds in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a game that feels like experiencing a heartfelt fairy tale or picture book. It doesn't feature a grand storyline, complex puzzles, or dramatic twists at the final stage. Instead, it provides a calming experience with gentle background music, charming characters, and a smoothly flowing story that brings a sense of healing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Candy for your eyes, torture for your poor ears! She and the Light Bearer is absolutely gorgeous. It's like a fairytale picture book brought to life. The art is wonderful, and the folk-inspired soundtrack is pretty soothing too. But WOW, the character "voices" are super friggen annoying. There’s no real voice acting, just squeaky noises in different pitches, and they are so repetitive. They'll drive you insane. Seriously, shut up. lol. Luckily, there’s an option to turn them off, and I did…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is really cute, with a little firefly searching for the Mother deep in a mysterious forest! My favorite part is the characters. They’re all so cute, and I really enjoyed meeting each of them along the way. As you go deeper into the story, there are also some darker and more thoughtful ideas beneath the cute visuals, which gave the story more depth than I expected. The puzzles are very easy, and most of them are just about finding an item or figuring out what to do next rather than…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →uMMM. Not for me. If you like an easy walk with dialog this maybe for you.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As beautiful as this game is in terms of art and music, I cannot stand by the game design itself. This game holds both your hands, leaving nothing for you to figure out on your own. It might be excusable for a children's game, but it really underestimates the intelligence of the player regardless of their age. Everything is pointed out to you, either by blinking indications of where you should click, or told to you straight up in dialog. Not to mention that this game feels like 80% dialog and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I ultimately cannot recommend this game, not because the graphics are ugly (they're not, in fact the graphic design/background work is fantastic and colourful), or the gameplay is awful (in fact it may be basic, but it is quite enjoyable) or the puzzles are wretched, galaxy-brain affairs (almost every puzzle is intuitive and can be solved with logic and the information/clues provided), but because the sound design/"voice" acting is the absolutely most shrill, finger-nails-on-chalkboard aural…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art in 𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑳𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒓 is absolutely gorgeous – it’s like stepping into a beautifully illustrated storybook. Sadly, that’s where the magic ends. The gameplay is 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄, especially the movement animations, which take forever and make the whole experience feel like a drag. It’s not that the game is too easy, it’s just... boring. Everything feels vague and unengaging, and I honestly couldn’t connect with it at all. ˙◠˙ Oh, and the voices? I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointing.....its not really a game and theres very little to do except read dialogue after dialogue after dialogue. Art work is brilliant and the musics quaint but the game was not for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Is this game a poem? A fairy tale? A colorful book? I guess all in one. First I thought it will be a game intended for children but tbh because of the darker elements and quite angry but cute creatures I think it is better for young adults. It is an easy point-and-click game that you can finish in 2-3 hours. Some achievements can be hard to get, I will write about that in cons. Pros: - I adore Mojiken Studio's art style, it is a very unique and this one is a gem amongst their games as it is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The world is slowly being devoured. Plants are dying and the world is slowly turning grey, with these alarming changes comes brave little heroes in the form of Light Bearers, or in this story, one Little Firefly. Firefly is one of many who has left home in search of “The Mother” to awaken her and revitalize the earth, but having been blown off course by a strong wind they find themselves alone in an unknown forest. Meet the forest’s occupants, solve their riddles, prove your worthiness and earn…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I thought this game would be cute and relaxing, but instead it's just very annoying and seems to be designed for children. It's like playing Freddi Fish without the nostalgia.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is an extremely cute point and click with a story based around nature and ancient folk tales. It's very pleasant and the puzzles were all well balanced. It was on the shorter side but for the price, I totally recommend it.

unlabelledView post →Well, if you play for a few minutes, get annoyed by just about every character that makes an appearance, and hope you'll get to the end soon... I cannot possibly recommend such a "game". It's not actually a game anyway -- I claims to be a "Point&Click", but it's really just a Visual Novel since everything is clearly marked. There where like 3 or so "puzzles" where you had to turn rings into the correct position, and one time I actually had to go back to the previous room and write down the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The visuals are great, the characters are serviceable, but the plot is...well, there isn't much of it. It's pretty threadbare, and leaves much unexplained. Very unsatisfying, in all honesty. The puzzles were "This is the answer" simple too. This game feels like it was made to be played by 6 to 10 year olds.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute Point'n'click for when you just wanna chill.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →She and the Light Bearer is a beautiful adventure game with his cutes designs and his relaxing ambiant. I recommend it!!! ❤️
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art is really beautiful and the soundtrack is lovely, but that's about it. The story is obtuse and the dialogue is annoying and repetitive. I found myself clicking through most of it as fast as I could past a certain point. Moving from place to place is tedious for a point and click. Overall, it's fairly easy to 100% but again, it's tedious. If you're still interested, definitely get it on sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a fan of anime style cute. So maybe this just wasn't a good fit for me. Way too slow in the narration, too easy in the puzzles, and over-the-top twee. If you're into manga and kawaii and spoken story, you might still like it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The hand drawn style is truly gorgeous and every scene you're drawn in by it's beauty. I truly recommend everyone to continue playing until the end as it just takes your breathe away. Purrrrrr~ ♡
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think a lot of love went into this game, and for the right audience I'm sure it can be a real treat. However, I feel like this was made with a much younger audience in mind. Puzzles are very simple and much of the game is a hidden item click and find game. The music is delightful, but I wish there was an option to turn off the annoying sounds character dialogue makes. After a while it becomes grating and detracts from the fantastic artwork.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Obnoxious. And boring. What's worse than logorrhoea? Double whiny logorrhoea with screeching voices. There is no gameplay, only torture. Cherry on top, to make sure it grates as much as humanly possible, the game does that rhetarded thing when the dialogue's text appears letter by letter. (Edit: Steam are now retarhded to the point that they censor the word retardhed. Apologies for the forced misspellings.)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a beautiful and short game about being a firefly and finding mother in order to free the forest from the devoures. The music was very catchy and the cast of characters that you do quests for were all silly and unique like gloomy the flower, reed, orchid, mushroom, and potato. I found my favorite part of the game was collecting all the different color snail shells. Just be careful if you are missing a carving for an achievement you have to find them in specific scenes. There are 4 carvings…

unlabelledView post →She and the Light Bearer is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as if it was a real PC game (it's not)... it's a cash grab from greedy mobile devs. While the game features arguably charming artwork and overarching narrative, that's about the end of the merits it has for serious gamers. In terms of gameplay, this is really just a poorly build and badly written visual novel, with some really lightweight and lame point and click puzzles that would fail to hinder a three year old. You'd get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a beautiful fairytale! It's really worth buying! The art was extremely cute as well as the voice-noises. The characters were so unique and detailed, I loved all of them! The music stuck on my head immediately. It was so smooth and relaxing. The game was really simple/ easy to get the point. Same goes for the achievements.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, so ummm, I'm torn between upvoting and downvoting this game. In terms of visual experience, the game did deliver (it wouldn't be so hard for me if the game didn't). The soundtracks were great. There was, kinda, a simple touch of environmental stewardship in their message. The game is a green advocate with repeating emphasis on green, trees, and nature. It's very fitting and inspiring, I imagine, to play together with your children. In this respect, it's the upvote for the game. But,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This visually pleasing hand-drawn point and click game is absolutely a hidden gem. There wasn't really any difficulty in the puzzles or even the riddles, but it was a beautiful story told amazingly. If you want something cute, short and visually appealing, this is definitely for you. It's actually a great game to be played with children as well. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a stunningly cute little colourful adventure. Take care of nature and your place in it. And let the light of your soul illuminate the darkness of routine and hopelessness.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh my god how many dialogues do you want me to read? Is it a game or a novel? I prefer clicking on things and figuring out ways to solve puzzles and not spending time on tons of dialogue! The image is beautiful indeed but unfortunately, this game is no fun.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Stream ended! Thank you so much for joining me in playing She and the Light Bearer - a very cute point and click game! But dats not all! unlabelledView post →An interesting story with great visuals, hidden behind an excruciatingly slow and painfully hand-holdy game. I don't think the previews properly represent the game, but all the same, I don't regret suffering through the game. I think the audio, art, and story come together to create something that's ultimately a very nice experience, if a very poor game. Worth checking out, but be be warned that you're going to have to tough some annoying stuff out to get to the good bits.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To begin with, I want to say that I chose to play the game because I thought it was a metroidvania :)) , but I ended up playing it all and actually liking it. Visually it looks good, it's a relaxing game with a short and easy story that you play if you have a few free hours and want to relax, the music fits. I recommend buying it at a discount
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very cute point & click adventure with lovely art direction, a poignant ecology theme, and a pretty soundtrack. It's quite short but I felt it was fun and rewarding to play. A few of its secrets are a little tricky, but not to a frustrating extent. Really sweet little game and I'm glad to have played it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beautiful little game with a sweet little story.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art in this game is stunning & the characters are so cute! The puzzles weren't a challenge & I was invested in the little Light Bringer's quest. This game is very short so I would wait for a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and easy game but with awesome super cute graphics and dialogues. Story was kinnda meh for me, but was perfect to relax for an afternoon. Puzzles are easy and the game give u hints.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's really difficult to find words to describe how I feel about this game. This game was an amazing experience for me, the sort of experience that's just so mindblowingly awesome you have no idea what to do with yourself afterwards. When you just witnessed something and all you can feel is awe and you can't comprehend anything else for a while. I wasn't expecting to go into a story that was so deep, in a game nonetheless! Inspiring, beautiful, absolutely meaningful, pure spiritual poetry. I'm…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a challenging point and click, but short and enjoyable. The art is lovely! I played through a second time on sped up dialogue for the achievements I missed, game play is probably around 1-1.5 hours. Good for younger players, players who just want to follow the story without puzzling through.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The art style is a little different, but I like the style. It also has a good story. For those new to gaming, it's fairly simple and point and click. I do recommend this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super cute game! If your looking for a long and demanding game, this is not for you. This game is lighthearted, and fun for smaller kids to older adults. The art was the main star of the game and the story wasn't far behind. Officially one of my favs!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →She and the Lightbearer is a beautiful and unique-looking game that follows up its lovely visuals with solid puzzle gameplay, a unique fairytale story, and doesn't overstay its welcome. I'm not a huge fan of point-and-clicks, which have a tendency to be obtuse and illogical, so I'm happy to report that She and the Lightbearer is a totally smooth and solveable experience. In fact, I think it'd be an excellent game to introduce kids to video games and play along with a child -- it's so…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When I think of reviewing a game, I think of the story, art, music and gameplay. Each of these categories gets a 10/10 for this game. The story is touching, the art is beautiful, the music is ethereal and the gameplay is perfect. Do yourself a favor and give this one a playthrough!! You won't regret a second <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was one of those things that looked appealing when it was on sale, but didn't live up to my expectations. Graphics and story are ok, yet I've experienced better. The gameplay is slow and story is incredibly short. Character noises are too repetitive, it's off-putting. Transfering from one room to another takes around 20 seconds and it's awkward, it's like an unnecessary cinema intermission. If you were to speedrun it (without the slow elements), it would takes less than 25 minutes. To be…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →She and The Light Bearer is a cozy game with an excellent soundtrack. The art style is beautiful and cute at the same time. The dialogues are also cute and sometimes even funny. I really don't have anything negative to say about this game. So yeah, if you're into cozy point n' click adventures with simple puzzles give this one a go, I guarantee you won't regret it :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →simple but cute. pretty sweet story. definitely worth playing through at least once.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cute graphics, calming sound, and ORCHIDS!! I loveeee seeing their facial expressions~ xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →She and the Light Bearer est un jeu d'aventure, point&click très satisfaisant. Merci
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →came for the cool badge stayed for the beautiful story when they describe this game as a "poem" in the store description, they really do mean it. the story is absolutely chucked with themes and symbolism that'll melt your heart. a wonderful tale of hope, wisdom, and purpose.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Hidden Flower in the Garden of Gaming According to the developer, “the game emphasized on art, poem, dialogue, and music to deliver the experience.” - and this is true in every sense of the word. While She and The Light Bearer offers simple point'n'click gameplay, the art, writing and music is where it really shines. In the game, a little firefly embarks on a journey to save the forest from withering away and keep dark figures called Devourers from spreading through the world. In order to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has all the feelings :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There's no chapter select so if you miss an achievement, guess what? You have to play the whole game all over again. Do you know how many times I had to play it over n over? Too many ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times man, so annoying. I love the artwork and music though that's the only good things about it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rushed through the game in an hour. Game is great for young kid, colorful, cute, fine fairytales. The puzzles are very simple, making it more like reading a visual novel. The end is confusing, but it does not matter, all I want is seeing graphics. I recommend TUHO, a game I beat couple months ago. A deeper story, good puzzles also bright color.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A charming little game perfect for when you want to play something more relaxing. If you have two hours to spare and want to experience some lovely art and cute characters, give this game a try. The "puzzles" are pretty simple, and the game itself guides you most of the way, too. Though the story itself is pretty linear and short, it was still interesting enough to keep me playing until I finished it.
