And needless to say, I'll be delighted with allusive elements from the good old world of Lewis Carroll. Like pieces of plasticine or drops of paint, the images come to life and form the framework of something unique that absorbs the viewers' emotions and leaves the author's idea pure, ready for the players, relying on the basis of the story, to come up with…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Catie in MeowmeowLand is a wonderful way to spend about two and a half hours. In this dialogue-free point+click puzzler, we play as Catie, a young girl who falls down a rabbit hole, Alice-style, and finds herself in a colorful, cartoony world filled with magic, strange contraptions, and lots and lots of cats. It's structured in a similar way to games such as Chuchel, TOHU, Fire: Ungh’s Quest, or Lilly Looking Through, but manages to put its own unique spin on this genre. It supports…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Catie in MeowmeowLand is een point & click puzzle game. Eerste 20 min gameplay…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is basically a Samorost-like game where you click on things to puzzle out how to escape each screen. Art is cool, characters are weird but fairly appealing, plot is basic and obvious but works for the material. Sound is pretty irritating. For achievement hunters: I had to do the whole thing twice in order to get in a run that was under 90 minutes. If you want to find all of the jewels and the eyes, you'll likely need to consult a walkthrough. The game also has several missable…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weird game. The art style is super cute. Tons of strange little beasts to interact with. Did I enjoy my play through? Not really. Didn't make a whole lot of sense and there really isn't much of a story, but it's colorful and strange so if that's what you are looking for then this is the game for you.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →/ᐠ - ˕ -マ Time spent with cats is never wasted.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice art style but the only gameplay is puzzles which aren't really puzzles just random clicking.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Psychedelic cuteness wrapped in cats. Also, a puzzle-based point’n’click-light. A while ago I’ve read a book by Flea, the bassist for Red Hot Chili Peppers, that’s called “Acid for the Children”, and although it has been some time – the name of that book is the first thing that popped in my mind after I started playing “Catie in MeowmeowLand”. Take it as you will, but I was solving puzzles as a little girl in a cat hat in a hallucinogenic, brightly colored world full of cats that can fart…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An absolute masterpiece, please make more games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really loved this. The art is adorable, the world is totally bizarre (in the best way), and it's clearly inspired by Alice in Wonderland. There's a white cat with a watch instead of a white rabbit, a wild-looking creature in a hat, card-like characters... it's all there. And the devs are definitely Ghibli fans since there’s no way the Catbus wasn’t borrowed from My Neighbour Totoro. The whole thing feels like stepping into a dream. Every new screen is full of odd creatures and strange logic…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is absurd in a good way. Cats are lovely and it's a nice little adventure game. Kinda reminds of Amanita Design games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a very cute little 2D point-and-click game with artistic visuals lightly inspired by "Alice in Wonderland." It is aimed at very young people (possibly preteens). Your kid(s) may find it amusing. The puzzles won't make much sense. Just click and try various things to find out the solutions. I think such a design choice is intensional. It reminded me of Samorost (another weird game). The game is overwhelmingly cute. There are many cats of different sizes and shapes. The main character,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Say goodbye to reasonable puzzles and narrative storytelling. Say hello to a 3 hour long hand-drawn journey through the strangest drug tips a game developer could have. Seriously, this game is just 100% cute, arbitrary madness. No idea what the devs smoked when they were creating this game but I want the same! It's obviously inspired by Alice in Wonderland ... with cats. In this point-and-click adventure you walk from one screen to the next trying to figure what could work. It has no…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recommended at a discount if you like absurd point and clicks with an Amanita vibe. It's very short and has the same pitfalls of similar games. Annoyingly repetitive sounds and "puzzles" that amount to clicking wildly and hoping you've clicked the right things in the right order to progress. But when it's not annoying it's weirdly charming. I just can't help but feel like it would make a more entertaining animated short than a game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really loved this game. I feel like I connected to this game on a deep level. I loved the art, the characters, the silliness. It was genuinely funny but also tragic in a way. Not joking when I say this could be one of my favourite games of the year.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not sure of the proper name for these kinds of games. Where you're a little troublemaker running around and just poking the landscape until stuff occurs. No real puzzles, just mayhem. Chuchel, Catie in MeowmeowLand, Untitled Goose Game, that sort of thing. Why do I love these so much?
unlabelledView post →Catie in MeowmeowLand is an extremely weird game! You control a little girl and she is pooped out of a cats butt. Really? Why? The puzzles are lame and clicky. It's just not my thing, not recommended.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Catie in MeowmeowLand is a good adventure game with a great ambiant and some original designs. I recommend it!!! 😺💗
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is for kids under 12 year old. There are no puzzles at all, just constantly clicking and waiting for the reactions. Perfect for a 9 year old girl.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best choice for a fan of The Neverhood, Machinarium, Adventure time and the other silly things. On top of that I am fan of Alice In Wonderland and this is the best spin-off of that magical world. Humour is bit bizare but not crazyly over the edge. It's pure fun, just to watch (similar as Alice in wonderland), what is happening in this bonkers world. Amazing art and even better sounds! Gameplay is so smooth, I never seen so smooth gameplay in point and click (you need to get used to it at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun point and click adventure for 6-8 year olds. Some puzzles are nonsensical but my daughters didn't mind, poking and combining different stuff was a whole lot of laughs for them.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While this game doesn't do anything special as far as point and click games go with fairly abstract puzzles and a loose Alice in Wonderland themed storyline, it still manages to be whimsical, entertaining, and full of cats. 5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was cute, fluffy, and fun, only occasionally frustrating, in the way that these kind of games can be. Some puzzles rely on logic, others on sheer surrealism and clicking until the solution becomes evident. The audio (with a slight exception mentioned below) was very well done, with every character and half the scenery objects vocalizing, chirping, or grumbling in comical fashion. The art style, which drew me to the game in the first place, is a complete delight from beginning to end. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My daughter absolutely loves this game, it's full of fun whimsy and surprises!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love A Story Wit No Story N Jus Fun Gameplay Great Job
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →excellent, refreshing, pleasantly weird, yes, sometimes frustrating, but otherwise very nice addition to the samorost genre I like the colors, animations and sound production hope the authors improve on this and make a worthy sequel
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a relaxing game! But... in a few places, it was not so comfy xD There are moments when I was a bit frustrated as I had to click randomly. But once I got through these moments, the satisfaction was great! 😃 The visual and audio side of the game was stunning. Well, in conclusion, I had a good share of a laugh (my face couldn’t hold a firm face), sometimes had to click on every object I found on a screen, but overall enjoyed the game as a whole. Nice work. So if you have a free evening and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple click and point game. At this point I'm convinced adults would need to get on some strange drugs to make something like this possible out of their imagination for kids.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice, relaxing, fun, cute. I love cats anyway so I want them in more games like this xD
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazingly creative and colorful game! It's rarely apparent what to do so I found myself clicking around a lot. But eventually I figured it out, usually with a sense of amazement or a slight smile. I found myself shaking my head in appreciation for the beautiful artwork time and time again. Playing through took me four hours. I'm sure many would do it in less, but I never consulted a walkthrough and took time appreciating the often dream-like environments.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing point and click puzzle game, loved every bit of it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Damn, what a game. I didn't even know how i missed all those old strange adventure games until i stumbled upon this one. Wandering from one bizarre scene to another, all wrapped in beautiful visuals, one peculiar story slowly unfolds. If you like games like Samorost or The Neverhood, i truly recommend this little gem!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is mostly clicking around and seeing what happens. Most puzzles are not intuitive. If you're looking for something casual with trippy visuals, it's exactly that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If Salvador Dali had made a game, that game would be exactly like this.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh boy this game was an ADVENTURE. I mean, you should know if you checked out even five seconds of the trailer. The first thing you see is you getting pooped out of a cat's anus. So really, I should have known, but it just kept getting WORSE (or… is it better? I'm still not sure, in my case). You play as Catie, who fell down a hole under a tree in her yard, to a land of mystery. Instead of a white rabbit with a pocket watch, you're chasing after a white CAT with a pocket watch. But honestly,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a point and click adventure game that combined cuteness, surrealism, and toilet joke. Yes, you heard me right there, toilet joke. This game starts with one at the very beginning, if you aren't a fan of toilet joke, the game will starts with a bad impression from you, and that might hinders you to enjoy the rest of the game and effects its final rating. Honestly the game would've been better without those rude toilet joke, and it almost drags down its rating inside me to give it a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So much fun! I had played the demo and really enjoyed it - the full game was well worth waiting for :) Surreal, fun adventure, in the style of some of my favourite games (Samorost came to mind :)) Will be playing again for the achievements and hope to spot more of the quirky details a second playthrough
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good LSD trip (:
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I saw this game on CZ&SK Gamesweek Showcase last week and had to try it, and I am very happy I did because this game is a masterpiece. The universal language, lovely atmospheric music and beautiful world filled with funny creatures made my day. I loved The Rock head or angry muffin in the lift. Even though I must admit I got stuck at a few places and ended up clicking on everything in order to progress, I enjoyed it from the beginning till the end and I want more! :D ..Any sequel or DLC…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ graphics + humour - none Absolutely beautiful and hilarious game. Very relaxing and funny. Highly recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →OMG one of the reviews said "pleasantly weird" and that is my new favorite phrase and this game definitely embodies it! Positives: -Super cute -Super weird -Complex puzzles that are solvable but difficult -Great soundtrack Negatives: -Just that weird blue guy I guess?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →9gag sent me here... Games cool though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I absolutely loved the cute style of this game. I knew it would be a short adventure but it was well worth every second of it. The puzzles will get a bit more difficult as you keep going but mostly they are easy to figure out eventually. Love the game and recommend you all to check it out
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love the lil pink fella....he so smol he only need 1 cookie {\___/} ( ^▽^ ) />🍪<\
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Catie in MeowmeowLand is a *very* weird game. Honestly, one of the weirdest I’ve played. The puzzles sit in a nice middle ground where they aren’t super easy, but they also never became frustratingly difficult. The whole experience feels bizarre in a fun and memorable way, and there are a lot of moments that make for really good screenshots because of how strange and colorful everything is. Definitely an interesting game to play through, and I think it’s worth the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/nbRqwi00dlA Heavily relying on 'moon logic' or just randomly clicking and experimentation players won't feel clever when solving a puzzle only relived that they can move on.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute and surreal, i enjoyed all the interesting and strange characters; felt very childlike, and oddly nostalgic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting point an click puzzle adventure. Great art style and nice music. Lots of random clicking around to figure out what to do but that's not entirely bad. Can't say I dig the subtle vore implications of that one blue creature...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wild, out-of-this-world fun! I loved the whacky imagery incorporating cats and Wonderland aesthetics throughout the little adventure. I could have played over 10 more stages, honestly! They were fun little puzzles that immersed you in Meowmeowland. The only thing I had a problem with was some imagery used in one stage, but other than that, I had fun! Cats cats cats! The ending reminded me of the Labyrinth's (movie) ending.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun adventure, figures with their own personality, good music and puzzles that is not hard. A creative game, with lots of fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Full of random point and click wonder that I enjoy and never frustrating either. Featuring fantastic art, good music, lovely sound design, it definitely reminds me of Amanita Design when it comes to its, well, design. That's a big compliment though, so I think they did an incredible job.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome graphics, great surreal atmosphere and full of great ideas.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At the beginning, you climb out of the cat's Sauron eye... :D Interesting bizarre... But I really enjoyed this point-and-click adventure game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very similar vibes to samorost, and i think its a good thing ;)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good enough entertaining game for all ages. Just be prepared to experience some frustration for parts where the click detection may be irritating. _________ Rating: 7 / 10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Catie in MeowmeowLand" is a small point and click adventure that looks and sounds great with its pink, cute 2d graphics, surreal world, peculiar creatures, funny sounds and relaxing music. Unfortunately, the puzzles seem randomly placed with no logical turn of events and the way you interact with items is sometimes weird. Tons of pixel hunting may annoy you too. Manometer: 5/10 The good - Cute 2d graphics with colorful (and mostly pink) chromatic palette. - A crazy surreal world full of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved it so much, wish it was longer!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lewis Carroll meets Amanita Design; I guess its fine if you like the Aminita puzzle style of click everything (sometimes the same thing multiple times) until you get it right. Pros - Art-style and animations were nice - Lots of Alice in wonderland references; Cats, Playing Cards, I'm late I'm late, eat me, drink me etc. - There is no real dialog (again similar to Aminita games) but there is a couple of words and various sounds which are voice acted and it was nice enough. Cons - To me It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable game! Puzzles take some thought to figure out so they aren't super easy, and satisfying to complete. Some extra achievements that are interesting. But the whole game was cosy and chill, and reminiscent of childhood fairytales.
