positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →𝔸 𝕓𝕣𝕦𝕥𝕒𝕝 𝕤𝕪𝕞𝕡𝕙𝕠𝕟𝕪 𝕠𝕗 𝕓𝕝𝕒𝕕𝕖𝕤 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕓𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕤 Shank 2 is the kind of game that refuses to slow down. From its opening moments to its explosive finale, it delivers a relentless barrage of combat, violence, and stylish action that feels like an interactive action movie drawn straight from the pages of a graphic novel. The story once again follows Shank, a brutal antihero who solves nearly every problem with blades, bullets, and overwhelming force. While the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thanks to the developers of this great game .. We hope to be part 3 for the game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This sequel is more of the same, but with some improvements made to the formula. The combat is even better than in the first game (it feels more fluid, with smoother combos and weapon transitions), and the art style is even more polished than in the first title, with overall better animations, it's got even more weapons, it has more enemy variety (you need to user different tactics for specific enemy types), the level design feels more dynamics with more hazards to look out for, and the co-op…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →🩸 Shank 2 — Bloodier, Bolder, and Brutally Beautiful 🔪🔥 What do you get when you mix comic book style, relentless combos, and a machete-wielding one-man army? One word: Shank. 🎮💣 Shank 2 is a side-scrolling brawler soaked in grit, revenge, and gallons of animated blood. Picking up where the original left off, it sharpens the combat, speeds up the action, and lets you unleash pure chaos with chainsaws, grenades, and your bare fists — all while looking stylish as hell. 🗡️ The combat is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →worse dash, worse gameplay, worse bosses, worse story tldr play shank 1 instead
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very disappointing sequel. No weapon switching. No keyboard and mouse UI optimization. The I-frames when get a hit are too short. Have a lot of bugs ruin u experience. Repeat shotgun and knife-hammer loop is the best way to handle dangerous situations. Campaign: shank 2 doesn't have a lot of awful parkour. Have some bugs. I've encountered a bug that prevents me from moving to the next scene. This forced me to replay the entire level. Level 4 boss is so bad. Why do I need to get hit by a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if you liked shank, DON'T PLAY SHANK 2. shank 2 is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass i cannot put it into words. i wish i played this sooner so i can get a refund on it. it has its ups, but with many downs some of the ups include decent artstyle (i don't know if it's a up or down depends on if you like it) score system (which is sorta broken) the ability to counter attacks (without invincibility frames.) downs VERY scarce health, i don't know if it was me, but i barely saw any health items in some of the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank you for making my childhood wonderful
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shank 2 is a solid beat-'em-up that builds on its predecessor in some meaningful ways — the combat feels faster and more fluid, dodging is more responsive, and the enemy variety keeps encounters from feeling stale. The counter system and mid-combo weapon switching make chaining kills genuinely satisfying, and the survival co-op mode offers a fun challenge with a friend. That said, the loss of a co-op campaign is a real sting, the story is a incoherent mess compared to the grindhouse revenge…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →What a perfect hack'n slash game, 10/10 I just wish it has more content like a co-op story mode or even a sequel, Overall. Would play it again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Worse than the first game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun way to blow off some steam, both the campaign and the survival mode.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →better than the first game, my only gripe is the high difficulty jump, other than that with enough patience, Its alot of fun to be had, With more costumes & 1 new official character you meet in campaign, The survival mode is a fun mode to play hours with friends.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shank 2 builds on the original, and improves it in every way. Whilst it's still outrageously corny (surely deliberately so), it's still fun and an easy recommendation for anyone interested.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →way better than Shank 1 a childhood classic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A worthy sequel. The animations and artwork are significantly improved and taken to the next level. A new gameplay mode: Survival, adds new additions of replayability. The game is also a lot more difficult compared to the first, so if you're looking for a challenge, this is right up your ally. It makes me wish that a third installment gets made at some point, but, for now, Shank 2 is a great sequel to an already great game.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the 1st part even more, did not age like fine wine...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this one more the the 1st (though I play only campaign so far). The guns shooting time window felt do-able (not self stun like in the 1st game). Control is more snappy & less delay input-ish. There is extra character & landscape have little more variety (though color pellette stay the same, so u might never notice). I'm not sure if u can play like this on the 1st one but I discovered late in game u can let shank run for 3 step forward & then just hold Y (on gamepad) as long as u can,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Title: Shank 2 – A Brutal Action-Packed Brawler Review: Shank 2 is a fast, stylish side-scrolling beat ’em up packed with intense combat and slick animations. The hand-drawn comic-book art style looks fantastic, and every fight feels chaotic and satisfying with brutal melee attacks, guns, and flashy finishers. The combat system is smoother and more refined than the first game, letting you chain combos and takedowns in creative ways. With nonstop action, tough enemies, and a gritty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is the greatest, Everyone should play this. I love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well...Everything about this game is good except for the cutscenes and multiplayer. It would be cool if there was some kind of co-op besides survival. Or a story mission with Shank and Corina. But its ok
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even after 13 years of Shank's release, the game is still amazing with its fun gameplay and simple variety of weapons, but the game still lives in the memory of everyone who loved this game, and I have the honor to talk about this game and with pride that it is the best 2D game ever.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun and brutal, with smoother combat and better visuals than the first one. While it can still feel a bit chaotic at times, the action is satisfying and stylish. Studio Klei once again delivers a fast-paced beat ’em up that’s easy to enjoy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →played it back in 2012, fr want another shank game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →💣 Shank 2 cranks it up! New weapons, slick counters, and insane co‑op survival mode. Non‑stop action from start to finish — god‑tier brawler. 10/10 would machete again! 🔥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent enough game and all, but I honestly think I prefer the first one. The combat just doesn't feel as tight here, and the controls are a bit finnicky and overly complex... I do still recommend it for fans of beat 'em ups. It's well worth a playthrough for sure.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game. Still fun in 2025. It's an EA game, so it's not exactly indie, but it is well polished. Controls aren't as tight as something like Cuphead, but they are still precise, so your deaths don't feel cheap. Short game, enjoyable throughout. Will recommend anyone interested in this pick it up on a sale and you won't regret it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When compared to the first game: Better mouse & keyboard controls, similar gameplay, worse story. If you enjoyed the first game for the game, it's fun. If you enjoyed the first game for the story, then it's better to end it at the first game. Still a good game. Shank is still John Wick mixed with Brock Samson.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shank 2 is the sequel of Shank, where you play as the titular character again, fighting an evil president and his army. Like before, it has minimal story, most of the time you'll be beating up enemies. Graphics are better, but the most important improvement here is the combat system. Other than your equipped weapons which can be changed anytime, you can also pick up weapons from fallen enemies as well as counter-kill them after lowering their health. Luckily, there's no co-op only story…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Short and boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →gameplay is better than shank 1 but the story is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ besides voice actor
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun but I think it is a downgrade from Shank 1, I expected much more. The inclusion of the parry makes the combat more reactive but at the same time many enemies have unblockable abilities or attacks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shank 2 is both an Improvement and a let down from the first entry. In some areas its better but in most I would say is worse. First What's Good You have a parry mechanic now which makes combat more reaction based and more in depth. The art seems to improve as well in certain areas such as the backgrounds and overall detail of the game. I love the depth of field they gave to the game by making enemies come from the front of the screen into the battlefield or when you blow one up and the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: Inferior to Shank 1 in basically every way. Story: Shank, the protagonist, ends up kinda helping a rebel group on his way to same his foster home caretaker. At least that's what I got. Cuz' honestly there isn't much here. Gameplay: Apart from the counter mechanic, which is a nice addition, nothing works as well as in the first Shank. You have to pause the game to swap between weapons, which is a major downgrade from the first, since you could swap between (to my recollection) every…
