You get exactly what you expect and not a bit more. It never tries to go from good to great. It never goes above the minimum of what's expected of it. It hits the bar and gives up. It feels unpolished and it's honestly sad to see. The platforming is ok. The biggest problem with it is the camera. The camera is terrible. The entire game is a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sapo 3D is what I consider a hidden gem. Is it the best game in the world? No. Is it a little short? Maybe. But for just $2.99 at full price, Sapo 3D punches well above its weight class in both value and gameplay. The most important thing to me in a 3D platformer is how it feels to play. The controls need to be tight, responsive, and satisfying. Sapo 3D absolutely nails this. Movement feels great, and every success or failure felt earned. The game features some genuinely tricky platforming…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So base game is about 40 mins long, the four hardcore levels add an hour or two simply because of how bad they are. The game is ugly with the environment being a huge issue, blocks floting in space always makes it hard to tell where things are and is just ugly. Main game is fine but largely uninteresting and the extra levels are really poorly designed, the moon is especially bad with a section that requires a very tight timer that requires you timing something correctly that is 10 ish…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, works perfectly on the Steam Deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. CHARMING 2D/3D PLATFORMER. NOTHING COMPLEX, DOES WHAT IT SAYS ON THE TIN. FOR LESS THAN A CUP OF COFFEE YOU ARE GETTING HOURS OF ENJOYMENT!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Beat game in under and hour and 30 minutes, very cute game and would give this 10 frogs/ 10 toads
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For less than the price of a coffee, you absolutely cannot go wrong with Sapo 3D. Simple game with plenty of forward momentum which easily carries you through to completion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Appleseed's Indie Game Of The Day! Day 255) Sapo 3D by BitLife A pixel collectathon style 3D platformer that has you playing as a frog and gathering flies through various levels. It's cute, it's charming, and who doesn't love a good frog?
unlabelledView post →Really nice little game your can finish in an hour or two So here's a little story: A friend gifted me this game and mentioned they wanted to watch me play, I started raising an eyebrow there, when I looked at the game in the store it looked really cute but there were some screenshots where the scene was dark and gloomy, so I was fully expecting the game to turn horror-y dark and twisted halfway through. I was a bit on the edge the whole time, expecting a jumpscare, but at the same time I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sapo 3D is a sort of neat, charming 3D platformer and for the most part, that's all it is. It's straightforward, focuses on the "platform" part of platformers and doesn't do anything interesting with its concept for its normal stages. Then out of nowhere, a boss fight comes with some double jump shenanigans that are harder to time than anything prior. Weird, but OK. After that, 4 hard stages are unlocked that are the real head scratchers. Suddenly, the game starts expecting barely conveyed…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really fun 3D platformer. The game features four worlds: Forest, Desert, Candy, and Space, each becoming increasingly difficult. After completing all four worlds and collecting enough flies, you face a boss. The music is also good, with the desert theme being my favorite. Overall, I really enjoyed the game, and I highly recommend playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun simple plat former, takes about an hour to beat and is straight forward. Reminds me of the toree games. Very fun and definitely worth 3 bucks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →More fun than it has a right to be!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sapo 3D is really cute platformer, very addicting and polish, like the graphic and the overall feel of the game. I'm currently at level 2-2... hope nothing nasty will come out. I dont like cute platformer that turn out to be horror... i dont know its wasted potential to me. Hope it's not the case here! Anyway weird personal fears aside, I raccomand this game. Really fun and engaging! No plot, but its not that important.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun little game! I 100% completed it in an hour and a half but I enjoyed every minute of it. The final boss was actually quite a challenge, and I loved the extra bonus at the end of the game if you collect all 1600 flies! Worth the tiny price for sure
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very well polished gameplay, very amazing and creative stages and a very fun game here! Highly recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun little 3d platformer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good game, fun, even if the later levels became a tad bit annoying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so cute and fun! Give me a game with a little froggo and I'll show you an afternoon well spent. Easy and simple yet satisfying platforming. This is essentially a Toree 3D like game, but instead of focusing on speed, they throw a couple of different new ideas and fun interactable elements like moving platformers and bounce pads. Highly recommend!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super fun, pretty challenging and very cute, and the integrated speedrun mode is awesome! The several easter eggs were fun to find and 100%-ing the game is quite short! Great game!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I put more hours then I should have into Sapo... Good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game overall, but some frustrating aspects: -The menu uses glyphs instead of text, making it difficult to figure out what options you are changing. -Especially in the space levels, falling into the void is annoying as there is no quick kill/reset button. This here is the cherry on top and what almost pushed me to giving a thumbs down: I think I had about 80 and 20 deaths in the forest and space hardcore levels, respectively, due to the "randomness" of your speed when jumping off the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Chill platformer, it's not the greatest but honestly what can you ask for just a couple dollars.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm playing some sort of frog game Sapo 3D It's got a croak button Twitch.tv/soryuhime
unlabelledView post →This game isn't a must play or anything, but for 3 dollars it is more than worth it. You're getting 4 worlds with distinct visuals and gimmicks, each of the worlds has 3 stages, and the game concludes with a boss fight. That is basically 13 quality levels of decent length. 14 if you count the bonus stage, which I do not. 100% the game in basically 3 hours, which is not bad for the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is awesome! Only on world 4 and 30 minutes into the game and I can say it is worth far more than 3 dollars. If you like Mario-esque 3D platformers this has that kind of movement and control.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very nice lil game! the level design can be a bit annoying at points, but overall i enjoyed this the game looks v cool too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's very fun but for some reason the space level takes like 90% of my CPU and I don't know why, I have AMD Ryzen 3 edit: My issue was fixed lol
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun enough little 3D platformer. I think it gets a little tedious and towards the end and I had my fill so I stopped playing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a "mixed" review. The first impact is pretty good, the game is pretty fun but the platforming sometimes works bad. For sure it doesn't help that some "platforms" are not 3D, but 2D elements (for example the stars that let you double jump again) with a lack of precision when touching them: Those seem to me game design flaws. Another negative point is that Steam Cloud saves seem not working here. I played hours on my PC handheld, but Steam on m PC shows zero in-game progress. Not a bad…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The main game is great - very good controls, adequate challenge, fun graphics - only a bit on the short side (but you get what you pay for, I guess). The extra/hardcore challenges are a complete mess/♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ - too few checkpoints and irritating level design.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I completed all the main levels, got all the flies, the 2D level, and half the hardcore levels. This game is so frustrating. If this game cost anymore than the $3, frankly I'd give it a negative review, but purely for the cost I'll give it a positive review. I like the cutsey vibe, and the general gameplay is good, but by god can it be frustrating. There's several elements that stack on top of each other that make it irritating: the way the running doesn't continue despite pressing the button…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →10/10 SAPTASTIC harder than i expected
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one's not bad! It's a chill little platformer that challenged me without feeling too punishing or harsh, and has a charming aesthetic. The levels are a bit uninspired but I don't find them to be insulting or cruel. It's more engaging than something like Dadish 3D but doesn't come anywhere near the bliss of Lunastice (sp?). It's short and sort of forgettable but I always admire cute platformers that don't waste my time and are easy to play. 6/10, which means it's pretty good
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sometimes I like to buy 3 random games for under 15 bucks total. Sapo 3D was one of my picks this time. It is super fun for what it is, which is 4-5 hour 3D platformer with a cute frog in a sort of sandbox minecraft-esque world. It's a super fun combination of challenging and enjoyable, and some of the levels have fun little platformer puzzles to figure out. I totally enjoyed this for what I paid for it. Recommended if you're looking for a dumb, fun little time killer with a surprise Zelda…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun charming little platformer game! The base game is simple but fun, the few extra hardcore levels are meh imo, not bad but not particularly great. Still definitely fun to be had with them though and a nice addition nonetheless Overall, very short ableit fun and solid platformer with charm, definitely worth picking up especially at such a price!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is really good for the price! its not as easy as it looks! its cute and a lot of fun! highly recommend
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Não era sapo nem perereca
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL;DR - Sapo 3D is a fairly straightforward 3D platformer with a limited moveset. You play through linear levels, and collecting close to 100% of the flies in the 12 levels is mandatory for beating the game. Jank was minimal, and it mostly only became an issue during the 4 challenge levels. It's a largely unchallenging 1 hour-ish playthrough outside of those levels, but it's enjoyable and worth the price if you like 3D platformers. You have a small moveset - only the ability to jump, double…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a unique style and great fun <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring platformer with simple movement, confusing UI and barely any additions per level. All of them are just the same thing organized differently. This is just one of those lazily put together games that can be 100%'d in 5 minutes, don't even bother buying this even when it's on sale, because making the game $0.50 cheaper isn't even a sale.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s a great platformer. The gameplay is very precise, each world brings a different mechanic, and the space world was extremely fun to play. Even though the game can be quite difficult at times, it’s not frustrating, there are plenty of checkpoints in each stage, and what you collect stays with you even if you die. The game is super lightweight and ran smoothly on the Steam Deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun quick 3d platformer. The worlds introduce new mechanics and enemies making them unique both in visuals and gameplay. Achievements where fun to 100%.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This little gem was a blast to platform through! I love the art style and level design. Overall, it was a very well rounded experience!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mostly a fine short platformer, but the control while in air is atrocious a lot of times and sometimes the timing for some obstacles is just a matter of luck to not get hit
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game, can be be fully completed in about 90 minutes. If you like games like Toree you'll like this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a fantastic play. Well priced, shockingly creative, and controls well! A surprise to me and an easy recommendation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic Game!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →LOVE this game really fun justa chill videos game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun 3D platformer that is short but sweet. It is relatively simple, but still enjoyable to complete over a couple hours. For just a few dollars you can't go wrong!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bom, porém falta polimento.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bitesize bit of straightforward 3d platforming nothing groundbreaking but makes for a fun session or two
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like the Toree games you'll definitely like this one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fast-paced platformer, and it is AMAZING! You will die a lot, but the checkpoints are fair--not generous, but fair. Collect all the flies, defeat the boss, and continue on to a fun, secret level. Highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute little 1 sitting romp.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, cute 3D platformer with great mechanics, a wonderful soundtrack and a great surprise at the end of the game. Worked flawlessly for me on Steam Deck. For the low asking price it's a very easy recommendation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sapo had a nice transition to 3D
