  River City Melee Mach is an homage to the old school kunio kun games. It is kind of a fighter game with more of beat em up style. The teams are very likable mixture of old and new characters.   It mostly reuses the same engine from Super Sports Challenge, but instead of several events it's all-out fighting with a few new features.   It's Kunio Smash Bros. A goofy fun party game at best. They did a lot to change up the special moves so they're not just lifted straight from RCR but it's still just an RCR vs mode with a nearly 20 year old franchise's worth of characters.   Good game but I don't really recommend buying this if you've already got the previous Melee. Barely discernible upgrade (like 2 new items, a handful of new characters, 2 new stages or something, same story mode).

  Pretty fun fighting game with simple controls which is very easy to pick up, play and have fun. Each team has its own little story mode. The maps are nice and there is a gimmick in each one of them. I just wish there was a character creator like in Super Sports Challenge, but it's ok. This game is very cheap and totally worth the price.

  This is exactly what it promises to be: a wild free for all fight in the old NES style of combat. It's fun to tinker around with for a bit, and the team dynamics actually add a bit of real strategy as you have to select who to use in which rounds and not simply wear down your best option. Four way and two on two fights mix things up a bit. Lots of weapons and different characters.

  Nice game! I probably shouldn't have played "River City Saga 3 Kingdom's" first. As the fighting button layout, as is the overall game is more polished and refined. It looks better too.   I feel offended when I choose International All Star team during role play at the beginning. Laochen is the Chinese character and is the only one whom is made fun of. Why make fun of him with stupid words? Because this game was made by Japanese that's why their white daddies only have positive image.
