60 of 60 · most liked firstEver since I became a Zorro fan back in 2010, I always wanted a fun video game experience of the franchise. Zorro as a character is perfect for a video game, but for some reason, every attempt to make one, from the 80's, 90's, 2000's and 2010's, has been a flop. Each of them struggled how to make a compelling swashbuckling game experience, and to capture the spirit of the franchise. Zorro: The Chronicles, released today, solves every problem with Zorro video games. Based on the 2015 cartoon of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro: The Chronicles has fun, albeit incredibly simplistic combat, but suffers immensely from a tremendously low budget, meaning a near complete lack of cutscenes, a very short length at about 4.5 hours, and it graphically looks like a PS2 title (no this is not an exaggeration). The good news is it's a drastic improvement over the last Zorro game, The Wii exclusive "The Destiny of Zorro", although I still believe that dumpster fire is the worst game ever made, so it's not exactly hard to beat…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Weird little game with 0 promotion. Plays like Arkham-lite. Very, very, very lite, mind you, but that is the essence of it. You drop into a confined area and then proceed to clear it out with stealth takedowns and counter-prompts. There are lots of environmental takedowns as well, and you're often asked to use those liberally to fulfill bonus objectives. That's pretty much all there is to it. Production values are near non-existant. There are no voices (except for grunts and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro The Chronicles is a game aimed at the young audience that is familiar with the animated series but as well as entertaining for older generations, I admit I watched zorro as a kid, who wouldn't, right? The game is quite simple and you can easily understand everything. Be careful though because if you do everything too fast you could make a mistake and have to redo part of the level. Watch gameplay with both characters here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwQifjSM6-Y As the video made…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Finally a Zorro game !! an amazing and awesome game with one of the most iconic and loved hero !! one and only Zorro ! this game is based show from Nickelodeon ! and you will be able to play as Diego or Ines his twin sister !! despite Zorro dindn't really had a sister this show and game especially made it perfectly for play with a male or female character ! but don't worry your choice won't be stuck ..you can choose at begin of each lvl with who you want to play !! if you loved the show and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro the Chronicles was way better then I expected. Its by far the best Zorro game out there and I highly recommend this game. The only issue I have is the camera is a bit stiff and there really isn't much of a story so far. The game's simplicity is a strong suit however with a good combat system. I'm very glad to have bought this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This one’s a strong meh for me. I love the source material Antonio Banderas was awesome as Zorro, and growing up watching that film was always a highlight of my childhood. But this game just doesn’t capture that same essence. (Maybe I’m misremembering or unaware of other source material, but this ain’t it.) It’s been touted as an “Arkham-lite,” but unfortunately, it lacks the fluidity and satisfying stealth mechanics that make those games so fun. It’s enjoyable for what it is, but I couldn’t…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Stubbs The Zombie/Destroy All Humans style game play Good stealth and fighting mechanic that is easy to learn Cons: Don Diego is a teenager (based on a TV show I am not familiar with from France3) No voice acting, limited story line I love this game, but I am a lifelong Zorro fan so my perspective might be biased.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Grew up watching Alain Delon's Zorro, this game brought a cherished childhood hero from the silver screen to an interesting cartoon style. My main critique is that the game would be nice if contains 8-10 levels instead of 18, as the levels are repetitive after around the 5th. This game is made more for younger players, but it still captures some of the classic Zorro charm. The most entertaining parts are the special animations during combat. You can trigger Zorro to carve his iconic 'Z' on an…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pros: Charming art style. Some funny animations. Cons: Gameplay gets rather samey after a while. On the janky side.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Surprisingly decent. Batman Arkham style game with Zorro.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's a very simple game not deep at all and not a long one , reminds me of a barebone assassin's creed but it's about zorro so i like it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think some folks are expecting too much from this game. Its cutesy graphics and simplistic playstyle are not meant to be taken seriously. This game doesn't have any blood and gore, so it'd be safe for kids to play. It's fun overall!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Happy #indie Sunday. This is not an indie game but I didn't make time to play one last week. I apologize. Zorro: The Chronicles is a playful update of the classic vigilante folk hero. Either Diego or Ines de la Vega may take missions in Zorro's iconic mask. It's only let down by execution.
unlabelledView post →When I was younger I watched Movies with Banderas in it but after Banderas It felt like there was nothing until now when I found out about this game and seemingly even the 2015 animated series that this game is based on. It was quite surprising for me that There are series about Zorro even now. But We aren't here talking about Movies and Animated Series. We are here to review the game! The game has very good combat from stunning, to blocking to even countering and specials against different…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Assassin's Creed, For Kids 7/10 finished the game in under 5 hours, not worth the full 30$ trying to beat that last boss on hard. OOF!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best Zorro game I've played. It's just Fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro: The Chronicles. Babies first stealth action game lol. Really easy even on hard. A basic version of Arkham Asylum's stealth and combat. But quite a nice art style and the KO animations are all fun. Has PS2 era game vibes. I kinda liked it. Short though at only 6 hours.
unlabelledView post →Since I played a lot of Assassins creed Shadows and especially the ultrahard stealthgame Styx (1 hit and u are dead). This feels quite relaxing and cozy even on the hard setting which I recommend regardless. I bought it on sale but it´s probably worth the full price since it consists of 18 levels and you also have a skilltree. + You can choose to be a female or male Zorro, neat for variation and especially if you are a girl and want immerse yourself as the hero your own gender. + I like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro The Chronicles was a very fun experience , the graphics look cool af ( very similar to the show ones) , the character mechanics weren't that smooth so it was very hard to understand the movement in the first 3-4 levels. The Abilities were interesting and i really appreciated grinding Zorro Currency to get them . The Music & the sound effects were very fun too. Ohh i also got 100% achievements (it was my first 100% steam game) In conclusion , this was a very fun experience that i would…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quite amusing. Thanks to a plethora of animations for finishers, dodges, super K.O.s, environmental K.O.s, etc. Also to energetic combat and silly stealth actions, all served by an energising music. The levels are pretty cool as well. varied, open and spread out. There's no story line, which I'm fine with; only a (non-linear) succession of missions with a simple intro and objective. Quite easy. It's clearly intended for kids in terms of tone and challenge. The AI is rudimentary, but it does…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ Funny scenes Enemies can be killed on surrounding objects The fight is normal - Weak graphics There is no plot, just a set of missions Problem with the gamepad Problem with the camera while moving on the keyboard Very simple stealth 7/10 Norm toy, at a good discount Unfortunately, I'm making a refund because my joystick behaves disgustingly in the game, you can play with keyboard as a whole, although the camera is simultaneously assigned to walking and to the mouse, which causes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun 3rd person game with short missions and easy combat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pure, good old-fashioned childhood fun! And with a tremendous score! (Where can we find it?) Off to watch the show!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was a fun game for the first 2 or 3 levels. Expect a lot of repetition after that. Game looks nice, plays ok, it has a good base for a lot of things that could have been added to improve it. There's some hidden posters that you can collect in every level, as well as mini achievements that require, in general, easy tasks. It's a very casual game, don't expect anything serious. Definitely pick it up with a big discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game mixes the new edition of Zorro with the old TV series that I watched as a child, and it's very well done. Gameplay: Use of scenery in the fights, accumulation of combos that end up in sometimes very fun animations. I love it, the devs have managed to respect the original Zorro atmosphere, provoking and fighting clumsy guys who don't stand a chance of winning. Justice is restored. The end of each mission ends with a big crisis of the badass. Sergeant Garcia is very much missed in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is not nearly as bad as critics say it is. It's better than other Zorro games so that's something. It's kind of a kid friendly version of Assassin's Creed with some slapstick humor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you a problem with Zorro being a woman, delete your account.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just wish I heard about this masterpiece sooner. I've been on a huge Zorro kick and this game satisfies the feeling of being Zorro. While the animation isn't what you'd expect, it plays like an assassins creed experience. If you're considering this game please get it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Like a cheap kid version of Arkham since its movement and combat are similar. It has perching, stealth takedowns and the counters. It's a easy per level/mission game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very casual game with some great laughs. That said, I feel like there are a few missed opportunities here. If it were cheaper that wouldn't be a big deal, but it's a bit expensive for what it is ($34 CAD). It's basically "Here's the bad guy, he does bad guy things, you should stop him. He makes funny faces when you foil his plans." Pros: - I liked the graphics style - Good soundtrack - Entertaining KOs - Good upgrade tree - Good progression of enemy difficulty Cons: - There are 2…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →💰 For a port of a small mobile project aimed at a young audience (wow, looks like «Zorro» has one), the game is surprisingly good. It was definitely made by people who understand the franchise. The original spirit is here, the locations aren't dull or repetitive, and the action, although easy (even on hard), is quite engaging. There are plenty of finishing animations, and they are amusingly good. The guards are varied, but the AI is simple (even in triple-A games it can be worse). You can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a kid, I was a fan of Zorro. And, at 60+ years of age, I am still a fan of Zorro and have plenty of room for Zorrita too. This game is light-hearted and good natured. i can tell it is going to be a bit grindy, and repetitive, but I've had a good time so far and have enjoyed the nostalgic feel. ZZZZZZZ ........ZZ .....ZZ ..ZZ ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzz
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I went in expecting to hate it, came out loving it. It's simple, short, and fun. What more can you ask for?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't let yourself be fooled by the childish trailer. The stealth and combat in the game captures the spirit of the character!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game does not work well, we hope to solve this problem
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →تلعب بأسطورة زورو وش تبي غييرها ذكريات الطفوله على القنااة الاولى اول لعبه اجيب فيها التروفيز كامله
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Clunky, but enjoyable. Get on sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is fun if you liked the tv show you will like this game the charecters are amazing the grapichs are cool and the takedowns are amazing but its not worth 24,99$ if you wanna buy it i recommend you buy it in a sale
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wouldn't consider myself a "good" gamer. I found that hard mode was correctly balanced for my skill level. I found that it let me just run in an fight, but was also challenging enough that I engaged with mechanics like stealth and KOs to try and take out some of the more difficult guard types. The level design is fun and pretty, I really enjoyed lassoing around the rooftop. Overall, the game is fun and it easy to complete without it taking over your life. If you ever wanted to be Zorro,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good Lighthearted Action game, doesn't take itself seriously and is fun and enjoyable, well worth 2.5€
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I recently purchased "Zorro The Chronicles," and so far, I have to say it’s a solid addition to the gaming lineup. I was surprised to discover that the game is based on an animated TV show, as I didn’t know this before buying it. What truly stands out is how the game evokes a sense of nostalgia for the classic reruns of the 1950s TV series that I cherished as a child. The graphics and storytelling effectively capture the essence of Zorro, making it an engaging experience for fans of all ages.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the best game ever!!! why so little people bought it? there should be at least 10 billion purchases at this point, i mean who doesn't like zorro? it's one of the best characters out there
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game! Have been a huge Zorro fan since Disney Channel days with Disney's Zorro, then Family Channel Zorro. Movies were meh.. Happy to see another Zorro Game! Overall fun for short stints. The missions have a repetitive feel but overall fun when played once and a while and not all at once.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've never thought that I would see a game from this series which was a really nice surprise. The combat system is really fun, the musics are just great and the atmosphere aside from some bugs looks good. One thing I need to mention, the hard mode was a dissapointment, but the last boss fight was tought thou.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zoro is a subversive masterpiece. Not only does it build upon the arkham combat, but it also redefines open worlds. Gameplay gushing aside, I have never connected more with a story before playing Zoro The Chronicles. I was not exaggerating when opening with "subversive masterpiece" as it goes places I never thought was possible with a superhero. Marvel should be a shame they lack half the creativity Zoro gives in only one level. The voice acting really sells the emotions going threw the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This days are hard to find Zorro games. This game is fun to play, nothing serious is happening. A great game to go through on an empty afternoon. I love it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro Is an great cartoonie game that is great for kids, but also fun for 18 and up. All in All and great game. Great graphics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you paid $30 for this game. My condolences... If you paid $1.49 for this, enjoy the ways of the Fox, the way of Zorro!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd be lying if I said I didn't find this game charming, but $30 USD is utterly ludicrous for what's on offer. I got it for $2.99 on sale, and that's the highest I can recommend it for.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Zorro The Chronicles, developed by BKOM Studios and published by Nacon, brings the legendary masked hero into a family-friendly action-adventure that blends lighthearted combat, exploration, and a playful retelling of the story introduced in the animated series. It sets its sights on offering a swashbuckling experience that younger players can easily enjoy, while still carrying enough charm to appeal to older fans familiar with Zorro’s legacy. The game places players in the role of either Don…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Horrible game! Had to restart the final boss 6 times because i kept getting stuck after the cutscenes, Gameplay is so repetitive it gets boring 20 minutes into the game. I don't recommend this game at all unless you are a die hard Zorro fan.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game it doesn't work after playing 3 chapters i just get black screen i try to fix game i try to delete and download it again and still have same problem even when i rest my pc i just launch this game and i get black screen forever
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a fun if simple little game, I think there was a TV show but idk, its an E for everyone for sure type of game though, I got it on sale for like $1.59 USD and I was happy with it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome, perfect for my kids, Funny moves sometimes. It is fun to play

unlabelledView post →I will say my only previous experience with Zoro was the Banderas movie. But i do have alot of fun with this game and all the creative ways it shows defeated enemies. I find myself laughing with each play. If your a gamer looking for something a little more family friendly to get kids or elders in your family playing as well, this is a good one to try. As you have to think about how to best tackle each area without making it too repetitive and always rewards you with light humor.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very pleasantly surprised at how fun this game is Short & sweet game with simplistic but enjoyable combat
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lovely and balanced game. Zorro is sassy and the game has a lot of humor. I had a blast!
