60 of 177 · most liked firstRe-Legion is the game, where the player should take the role of a prophet in a futuristic technocratic society. Gather your own army, start a revolution and defeat all the non - believers! Pros: + Amazing cyberpunk setting with a dark atmosphere + Interesting RTS mechanics where you can convert regular citizens into powerful units + Futuristic neon decorations + Moral choices Cons: - Fails to unfold its potential - Can often confuse the player with its objectives - The game is simply…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I WANT to give this game a good review, because the concept and setting are extremely great. BUT.... Well, it's not a bad game, but it isn't a good game either. The bad things: -There isn't a whole lot to do. There's the campaign at the moment, and that's it. -Saving the game is awlays a huge risk, because you can NOT be sure you'll be able to load your safe. Most saves get stuck at 99% loading, and then just keep on loading forever. Because of this I have started to save frequetly, but to me…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First Impressions I've only played for about 2 hours so i'm not writing it off yet but... Its clearly unfinished and lacking major polish right now. The entire concept is brilliant. For those of you old enough to recall Syndicate Wars with the ability to gain followers to your cause this will feel very familiar and welcoming. The actual gameplay is great, the need to gain followers to your cult to sustain your troops is far better than simply building men in a barracks. Unfortunately right…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm going to be honest here, I refunded the game. Not because it's a bad game, but because it isn't a game for me. Still, I'm going to leave a positive review. The game is well rounded, it has a good concept in a setting I enjoy. Start your own cult, fight other cults and the big corporations running everything. I've seen people saying this game is a mix of Dawn of War 2 and Syndicate and I'd say that is close to the gameplay you can expect. Convert your converts into stronger units when you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is just.. not finished yet. Can't recommend it. For example, when you finish a stage, you have options to continue, go to the main menu, load a save file, etc. NONE of these buttons work, except for load game. So you need to alt f4 out of the game and rerun it to start the next stage (thankfully you can continue from the next stage even if you force quit the application). I know this is not a one time thing since it happened with both of the first two stages. There are also…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here's the thing, I really want to enjoy this game. I love the concept of the game without a doubt and purchased it without a second thought. But I am going to be refunding the game due to a couple aspects of the game that ruin it for me. First is the inconsistant story/cutscenes which many of the other reviewers already mentioned. Audio/Subtitiles not matching, uneven story progression, character development either odd, rushed, or actually backtracking in some cases just so some other…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game brings up a brilliant idea and the theme is great. But that's all. Converting civils into soldiers may sound interesting. But the gameplay fails to create an immersion for the player. You would feel more satisfied if you would convert an hostile unit in -say-, Age of Empires, although conversion is the basis of this game. When you upgrade a female basic soldier, she turns into a male and such things are real immersion-killers. The game could be fun if it had multiplayer and a skirmish.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good concept - terrible execution Pros Unique Setting, Interesting unit designs, Good Soundtrack, Somewhat interesting plot ideas. Cons Idiotic Mission design (especially mission 6) Somewhat halfbaked overall plot that get progressively worse as the game goes on. Not a very deep plot - wide as an ocean but deep as a puddle, as the saying goes. If you look closely the maps are recycled often Poor interface that lacks precision when that's what's needed most. I want to give a special shout out…

Thou shalt no interrupt its programming in any way or you might succumb to the virus of the right hand of our Great Administrator. Seriously now, this is great looking RTS titles which drops the ressource gathering mechanic for the gathering follower mechanic. You might choose between three ways of teaching which apparently are the factions in this game. There's no base building whatsoever but the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an update. I picked this up the moment it became available, as I loved its look, premise and the sort of gameplay it promises. I'm a few hours in, and I want to give you a better idea of what it's like. It's certainly a Real Time Strategy game, but it plays more like a the Dawn of War 2 campaign, where you move through a largely static map defeating opponents and building up your assets. It's not a hectic base-management-and-fighting simulator where you're rushing to keep up with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm a couple hours in, the game is funny and some mechanic are new and interesting, theres some graphic problem that makes the FPS drop but overall is a good launch. While as I said I'm just 2 hour in and at mission 3 theres just one thing that worries me and is how big this game is.... there seem to be only 9 levels, aniway I'll update my review later. Aniway for me is worth its money, also, very nice soundtrack
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels unfinished. It doesn't even have some of the most basic RTS features from back in the 90s, like being able to adjust game speed. It's very buggy, and it doesn't seem to consistently save my save games (which is NUTS; why isn't it updating the save file when I tell it to??) Had trouble with a lot of variability in audio quality, too.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Quite A Cult Classic Re-legion suffers from two main problems. Being only a competent, linear indie RTS with its premise, and issues with QA (of which an early access identity might have been able to curb controversy). I'm not one to think it's entirely inexcusable to release a buggy game. I understand there are unavoidable pressures to release and I appreciate early access might not have been the route they wanted to take. Updates have been thick and fast since release and when I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alright I didn't play this much, seemed promising, but it feels cheaply made, tooltips are missing from almost everything, feels more like a beta or Early access game rather than a full title. The gameplay seems fun, however from the stream I saw there is a small lack of content for the tag price. I recommend this game for people that wanna play a cyber-punk RTS,but this game needs more polishing. I hope the developers take proper care of it,it could end up a nice RTS in this RTS-less era.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice idea, horrible execution. Boring mechanics, bad voice acting, limited tech trees, and only a few units.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool and interesting concept, but kinda bland and boring. Love the mix between cyberpunk and rts with a mix of cults for technology. Gets boring after some missions since it's the same thing over and over get control over that building then the next and so on. Hope they come out with a sequel that improves on the story and gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cyberpunk, religions and a real-time strategy. Great combo. Love the unique ideas and the fresh view on rts games. Converting people to create an army "on the go", Faith resource as a combination of units and the Cults Faith, these and many more, are the mechanics I find original and worth checking out. Try it for yourselves :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game seems really cool. It's got a good atmosphere, the story is pretty neat, and it has a lot of traditional RTS mechanics that fans of the genre should enjoy. So... Buy it if you like RTS games or want to purge the unholy heathens.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →oh boy ooof ok i love rts game probably more then half my library is rts games but this is just what the ♥♥♥♥ did you do and how did you make it this bad now ive seen many a people who have gotten stuck on some of the mission which i was able to pass by brute forcing them i.e have your leader respawn through the use of civs and convert every single acendent one that gets sent to me through the ai just... i hate to say this but SPAMMING THERE STRONGEST UNIT until you deny them the ability to do…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mission 4 pretty much ruined the game for me, was way too punishing for the little you were given to work with, not in like a fun Dark Souls way where its possible but challenging, but in a way where its pretty much impossible for most players (looking at the achievements you can see less than 10% cleared this mission)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't write reviews for game ever to be honest but I think this game needs some support, I bought this game the day it came out and I love it, its unique the style and colours of it is great, yes there is only a campaign but this is only for the time being a skirmish mode is being made as I write this review. Please bear in mind the developers are a small company and for a small company this is impressive, there good graphics an interesting story line (which I believe can be followed on with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good idea and concept. Poor execution and quality assurance. I'll be frank while I do enjoy this game even in it's current state. I cannot recommend it to others. Let me list the problems. 1 very handling of key binds and short cuts. This makes many of them flat out worthless. The AI is well garbage. For Pathing and otherwise. Hackers often rubber hand their pathing when trying to get to a work slot. Followers will take sucidal routes to the Santary. Oh and Preachers will walk towards…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting concept with lackluster in overall product.Traditional but old RTS gameplay, unintuitiative ui, wonky ai, repetitive mission and some technical bug (especially one that won't let you proceed when finish the mission, seriously??). .. It's feels unifinished and rushed in every aspect.Even I didn't put expectation much because it's a game from small dev (and yes, I wishlisted since announcement for I have a soft spot for indie game and cyberpunk theme...) I can't recommend it in this…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So far I love this game. The idea of being a cult leader is so fun. Can't wait to have some this spider thinge unit that i saw on the trailer :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a standard RTS, but a very nice one. It has interesting gameplay design. The setting is also something fresh. The game is not expensive. I think the experience is woth the price.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Though a real rough launch, they have stuck with it, and with many major patches it's become a pretty great game. The atmosphere and rather unique gameplay environment was right up my alley and the concept and setting are extremely great. the frequent updates and shift and attempt to listen to feedback and have brought much improvement. The game has great potential to be a major RTS contender and they do seem to be heading that way. I'm having a lot of fun playing and suffered no tech issues to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible overall.. First impression was overwhelming. Bad graphics, terrible voice acting, the AI is incredibly stupid. Too bad, the concept is very creative and I would have loved to see these issues resolved.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Purifiers ARE able to switch targets easily in this fantastic bitcoin mining simulator. Just remember to watch out for robots attacking your giant mechanical nipples or it'll be tits up before you know it. 10/10 waiting for nipple cult dlc.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →On paper great idea. In reality laggy and lacking.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As much as i want to love this game i just cant recomend it. It has poor AI, no choice of difficulty in the campaign, its a micro management hell, bugs galore, poor pathfinding, and a dumb plot. I recomend you find a different strategy game because this just wont meet your expectations.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i really like the concept of the game, but currently it is unplayable... for me the mouse pointer is late half a second after each movement, it's very frustrating, i even tried to put settings on low...the only game that does this (i have a ROG laptop and play much more demanding games on high settings). i hope they fix the issues soon, i would really like to play it...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- Mini map often doesn't react to mouse click - Units often keep their group shape when moved in group at the place of grouping at the destination - Units have pathfinding problem around buildings - Heal units don't come back to their position after healing is done - No rally point for transformed units - No check point deplacement - No shortcut binding for hero units - No auto save - Buggued achivements
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well this is a interesting game. For all the coments saying that this is unfinished, for a eurotrash game it is actully much better then many others that i have seen. Not to mention many indie rts games, as many of those do very very interesting things. The only thing so far that i don't like is that the campain is a bit easy, and there is no skirmish or many other things that the genre is known for. I guess this is why many people might think it unfinished. I have noticed it is a theme of inde…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My will be done I command you~ ♪ ~Powerwolf Remember when back in the days AAA games were creative? Not trying to say that modern games are bad or something, it's just... You know. With much bigger money involved companies started to take less risks. Which led to... negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an amazing attempt at an Cyberpunk rts but it falls flat on it's face pretty quickly. You play as a terrorist codenamed Prophet that uses mind control to brainwash people into his religion themed gang. You rampage from sector to sector smashing other gangs that you basically created in the first place. Did you ever wonder what would happen if you remade Left Behind: Eternal Forces but with sci fi skins? Left behind is a christian RTS based on a novel of the same name, where you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Oh boy. What to start with first? The Good: This runs just as well in Linux as it does in Windows, which is encouraging - it's awesome how well Steam is implementing Linux support, and I heartily approve. I also like the cyberpunk feel, and the whole tech-cult thing is actually a really fun idea. That's, uh, that's about it. The Bad: The story seems... disjointed. It's like watching nothing but the recaps of a TV show - you get the gist that a story exists, and the basic ideas, but there's…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really cool RTS game, with amazing cyberpunk setting. The difficulty is quite high, thanks to which the game proves to be a challenge. Idea of gathering your supporters straight from the street is fresh. Overall gameplay design is interesting, game worth recommendation
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I usually dont write reviews. I'll start by saying I really wanted to like this game. I love the concept and the artwork, the devs have really built a unique world. I love the dogma system and while I can't speak about the replayability of the game, it does make the playthrough much more intersting. Color choice is done really well and the world is built quite nicely. The attention to detail by the art team (save a few animations that look like they belong in 2003) is apparent. Now on to the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just not very good- not a very good RTS, not a very good story, not a really good message, its all a bit muddled unfortunately. Look at some concept art and you'll get the best aspects of the game!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice quick strategy game focused on a leader leading army and simple managment of resources. Simple .. nice to look at and quick and fun for short quick games once upon a time where you have enought of other games.and you want to try something else that will not overwhelme you with info and tasks and huge maps and complicated designs and so on.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unfortunately there are some serious AI bugs and some unbalanced issues that will plague this game's popularity. With a few tweaks to the AI and more balancing it could be a great game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the overall idea, the dystopian neon-clad cyberpunk world, the spin on resource management. Pathfinding is flaky, the AI is stupid, sometimes the frame rate tanks. But I could have lived with that. Unfortunately, the whole game is a buggy mess bordering on unplayable. 2 out of 3 save games do not load, pair this with random in-game crashes and you have a match made in hell. A waste of money and time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update after completing the game: The good: - soundtrack - cyberpunk setting and aesthetics The bad: - still buggy month after release (still crashes during loading save, after ending the mission, after in-game choice, achievements not unlocking) - repetitive mission design - micromanagement - short campaign There is a game-breaking bug at the end of mission 04 during cutscene that ends in 'game over screen' and prevents campaign progression. I can't refund the game because I did play…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really want to like this game - it has awesome premise and it's an RTS. Unfortunately it kinda underdelivers in most attractive aspects - plot, world design and atmosphere, there is lot of neon and stuff, but cyberpunk feeling is not there, it is just like a cosmetic skin for mediocre RTS with story idea wasted by writing. Other aspects are even worse - gameplay feels very bothersome and clunky, more like a mobile rts\adventure\rpg hybrid that's light on all of the above. Graphics are average…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great atmos in style of syndicate with extra neon but gameplay too repetitive and units act like blobs. Low resolution graphics in the guise of old school RTS. Too much clunky micro management whilst in combat. Disjointed gameplay and poor AI also handicap this. Especially path finding , combat and absence of unit stance settings . Not fun enough to want complete campaign (got half way) and no difficulty settings even on skirmish they seem nominal. Its a game it should be fun. Has…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →RE-Legion leaves me with mixed feelings. On one hand I enjoyed my time playing the short 9 level campaign of this Syndicate Esque RTS, but only because I was able to ignore many of the issues I saw. The game just feels under cooked. From Graphics; voice acting; story; maps; path finding and frozen character animations to name but a few. I will recommend this cause I think there is fun to be had, but maybe in a sale or bundle.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is actually pretty good but the bad voice acting is unbearably bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a game where i wish Steam had a "mixed" rating. PROS: - a unique RTS system: you don't "produce" units from barracks, you recruit random people from the street in to your religious army - an interesting take on the cyberpunk setting: where most other games focus on technical espionage, Re-legion focuses on faith and religion in a cyberpunk enviroment - pretty nice cyberpunk estetics - pretty nice synthwave soundtrack CONS: - other than the religion take, the story is pretty bland…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a lot of fun, ive not played a cyperpunk neon filled rts before and the cult mechanics of converting new followers are a nice change from the standard collect resources to generate units aspect from other rts games.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a great game that needs a lot of work it lacks unit Formations guard patrols the AI needs work there is much to do to make this game complete
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so buggy, it even manages to crash the Steam-Launcher... I really would like to recommend this, since I am a huuuuge fan of Cyberpunk-settings, and since it is like it had mixed in Command & Conquer, it would be totally my type of game. BUT, as I said, it's buggy. It crashes when trying to load, it kills the steam-task, the AI of the units is... there is one, I try to figure out how it works, the formation of multiple selected units always tries to be the same when moving which…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is broken on many levels. Don't bother unless it's heavily patched and on sale for under $10. Really wanted to like it, but drowning under the avalanche of bugs, glitches and crashes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is perfectible, but honestly, I had a blast. It reminded me by spirit, games like sacrifice or populous, but at a little scale. Playing the "Prophet" in a dystopic world, sending zealots to a certain death they are eager to go for you is ... particular. The questions regarding religions are interesting. But this game is not that long. i regret this point.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An RTS game that's played more for the plot than the Faps-Per-Second git-gud-son experience. Truly wonderful aesthetic, lore, and design. The drapes over the self-whipping muscle mens' faces is a really nice touch. This 'world' would have made for a really cool sandbox fallout type experience. As a gamer that isn't too deep into RTS's, this one's on the easier side. Some units such as the kamikaze bombers are incredibly hard to use because the AI will actively pick them off from afar.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kind of a faster moving version of XCOM Apocalypse or UFO Aftermath.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Let's double check the system requirements.. I5 - 4690 8G RAM GEFORCE GTX 1050Ti Ok.. pretty basic recommended requirements So this peice of crap barely runs on my system, does not matter if its set to ultra or very low in the settings.. everything runs the same.. very choppy with frame rate studder.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed it some what. If you like conquest games with a story this might be for you. I hit an issue early on where the Worshippers would not group up on one spot. Even with a double click. Which made them a tad bothersome. Crawler tactics work overly well. I suffered no zerg rush to challenge me. Maybe there was a zerg rush, but I was overly prepared for it. Not really sure. The second glitch was when I meet the Cult of the Fibonacci. The game froze. Could click to other units. Tried saving…
