positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Background: Purchased as part of a Bundle Stars Bundle. Impressions: Wow.. it's a quick download and a quick deletion. I played up to the first boss and then quit out. Basically it's a bullet-hell game like '1942' with futuristic 3D ships and a horribly restricted field of view. It's something you've seen a million times before and does nothing to improve on the formula. The shooting just requires you hold down 2 fire buttons and let them auto fire as you try to dodge the incoming while…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow this is bad. Almost impressivly so. Sure, It was probably easy to make things like the art bland and the music painfully generic, but in other areas it seems like there was some real effort to make this properly terrible. A camera angle which makes it difficult to place where your ship is relative to bullets, that's some effort right there. Ship movement which seems oddly disconnected from controller input, hit boxes that float some distance away from the actual target, sound effects that…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is mediocre at best. The menu selection is just awful, especially for the upgrades, it's not clear what each upgrade of your guns, rockets, power, shields can do, no idea what each gun is, everything is trial and error. Even so, it starts with such a fury and speed, the bosses are almost unbeatable, and it feels like all of the time someone's attacking you from behind or just trying collide with you. This game feels like nightmare even if you selected easy. My advice: This genre is…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very short and poor gameplay for this price no way i will recomend buying it! Find something else.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was expecting modern version of the classic shooter Raiden sadly this game does not deliver. *Extremly dull and boring until you get to the boss *very limited weapon. 3 weapons? 2 bombs? You can NOT power up during the missions. *♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapons. still ♥♥♥♥ after upgraded Only fun I had in this game is posting highscore using dirty word. Don't remember how I got this game probably from a bundle I hope no one paid $9.99 for this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The controls are awful. The gameplay is loose and deeply unsatisfying. Avoid.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As there is nowadays a big influx of shooters games on steam there is starting to be somewhat of a crowd at the bottom of the pile. This game is down there in the pile. It may perhaps be more on top of that pile as there are worse shooters but that doesnt help much. Why so? As other reviews have accurately described this game suffers from hard to tell hit collision as enemies alter altitude and often approach you from behind. I'd also add that pacing is a problem. Evidence? Find a Let's play…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick review coming from a shmup lover. The Good : - the game does't look too bad. By today's standards, it doesn't look too good either, but I wouldn't mind if it played ok. - Music sounds good, but... The Bad : - Controls are rigid. Don't even try to play with an XBOX360 controller... - Patterns are repetitive. - I have a big feeling problem with this game. Can't feel the power of the weapons. Can't feel when I'm hit. This is probably because the sound in the game is not very well balanced.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While not a terrible game, I wouldn't recommend it because frankly the current price of $10 is much too high and also as it is a classic arcade-style shooter, if that is what you feel like playing then I might suggest you go and play one of those instead that you could get for much less and that would not have some of the same issues. What I liked: -Classic arcade-style shooting -Ability to upgrade ship in between battles -Decent number of affordable upgrades for ship -Shields can make your…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The amount of ♥♥♥♥♥ that must have been sucked to get this to a 61 metarating boggles the mind.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is like retro-arcade game. It's simply fun. The only bad thing about this game is there are no save that means when you close this game, all of your progress will gone so I don't surprise why some achievement like shoot down 4,000 enemies is rare to achieve.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had a few issues; The collision with other enemies is atrocious. You'll often take damage without even touching the incoming ship. The bullets are ok though; This collision issue gets worse when you notice the area you can move in around is much smaller than it looks; It crashed a few times which is really annoying; Not all menus can be controlled by keyboard, for example I couldn't close the medal earned windows, it's rather annoying to have to click it with the mouse when I'm mostly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just in case, if that red labelled negative review might not pull newbies to try this seemingly retrograde appearing game, It isn't that bad actually. A top-down spaceship shooter might seem too niche to get a hold of , and yes, the concept certainly lacks originality. Of course, anyone familiar would have tried such thing once in their time, here or there. Still, I would say its a laudable try by developers to put it in one piece. The game play is surely satisfying and fun. The dodgy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got the game from a bundle..and im kind of glad i didnt spend any money on this game overall... Pros: *Very good visuals.. *Controls work great. *Easy 100% Cons: *Lack of keeping the player interested and satisfying enemy destruction. *Field of view is too close. *Recyclable enemy patterns. *Cheap enemy tactics from behind, like seriously? you have so much bs in the front of you and that come from behind as well. *Weapon pickups/upgrades have no real impact on your killing power. *No real…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made by the developers of Bad Rats, need I say more? This game is bad. Really bad. The gameplay is repetitive and boring, even before the end of the first level I wanted to stop playing. The voice acting is the worst I've heard, the music is a short 30 second loop, the fire sound is awful and since this is a space shooter you'll hear it A LOT. Visually the foreground and background objects feel like they are drawn for two entirely different games (they don't mesh well) and are hard to look at.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Made by the same studio that made Bad Rats. Do I need to say anymore? Ok, I will. Pros: Good to gift to friends as a joke Cons: Game speed varies wildly depending on how many enemies are on the screen. This seems to include the shot sound effects from your weapons Some enemies, including the first boss (as far as I could be bothered getting) seem to be half off the top of the screen. This means you can't shoot them. I had one enemy spend most of the first level with just it's nose…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Razor 2: Hidden Skies tries gallantly to emulate the shmups of yore, but falls flat not for want of creativity (though it could certainly use a bit more), but inexcusable ♥♥♥♥-ups on the game mechanics themselves. The game attempts, in some places, to be a bullet hell game but the hitbox of your ship is extremely large and does not even match the graphic - it awkwardly extends out an uncertain distance to both sides, but does not seem to include the nose of the fighter. Furthermore, the areas…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This little top down scrolling shooter was ok at the beginning, then just like Midway 1942, it all gets rather boring quickly. Fun just the same. cb.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not one of the best arcade scrolling shooters, but still fun and challenging :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I want you to imagine Raptor: Call of the Shadows, except the people behind Bad Rats gave it, you don't always die when you run out of health, most of the weapons aren't worth a damn, and the achievements reset every time you close the game. Also it doesn't save between levels and you'll probably ♥♥♥♥ yourself by buying bad weapons the first 20 times you play. I guess what I'm saying is this is a pile of ♥♥♥♥ and go buy Raptor: Call of the Shadows or something. It's on GoG. $6. Before sales.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the worst shoot'em ups I've played.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crashed when I tried to put it into 1080p mode. Overall the gameplay is a bit bland. The levels feel like they stretch on for a long period of time and the bullets are flying around so fast you will get hit no matter what. This game could learn a lot more from Ikaruga or Raiden, as those a both much more solid games than this. Overall I'd stay look to the other vert-scrolling shooters as this one is lacking polish.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was hoping to use the fulling controller, but nope its partial controller.. Its too hard to use or play on keyboard and mouse moves like using arrows keyboards w/ mouse. Lame!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have a soft spot for all old-school 2d platform action games like this. So when this was on a special, I was really excited. Firstly, this is an indie title, so mentioning anything about graphics is really quite daft. So I will only mention the gameplay control elements. And with that, the game is honestly very dull. The boss fights are tedious and frustrating. You dont get any sense of achievement during a boss fight as you dont notice if you have destroyed a part of it or not, and you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Project missile! Project missile! Project missile! This statement repeated every time a shoot was fired! Funny at first but after 30 seconds my mind was frazzled - game deleted. As part of a bundle wasn't too concerned but paying the asking price, nah. Fix the bugs, play test it properly and may consider another laugh in future.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun, yet difficult, arcade shooter. Reminds me of the old vending arcade machines. Achievements seem to be about how far you go in one session (until "game over"). As you play, be sure you upgrade your weapons and shield as much as you can. Nice graphics. In my opinion, playing on "easy" seems to be the way to go as it still is not easy. I'd suggest you go to Youtube and check out Razor 2: Hidden Skies's gameplay. If it looks intriguing enough, buy it on sale and see for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"How is this game so bad for a Shmup? Who made this, the makers of Bad Rats" Finds out it was the maker of Bad Rats "Oh..."
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hilariously bad. Out of its many faults, the bad controls are the dealbreaker. That and the fact that you can only use 80% of the screen for some reason. If you try to go to the leftmost or rightmost 10% of the screen you just hit an invisible wall. Hope you weren't trying to dodge something! Oh wait. Of course you weren't. Beacuse this is a bad game and you shouldn't play bad games.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Razor2's biggest fault is the lack of level structure and enemy variety. Stages consist of the same formation of enemies, that only have one flight pattern and one bullet pattern, and just repeats over and over. Fifteen seconds into any stage, and you've already seen everything there is to see for the next few minutes. Powering up your weapons works in reverse. That is, leveling up your weapons only lets you keep up with increasing enemy hit points in the next stage. Whichever weapon you…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointing shooter. There are much better out there. Don't bother.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ehh... I got this in a bundle I think. So I paid almost nothing for it. So for that price it was... palatable, if a little bland and unpolished. But for the full asking price of €9.99? Nope. Not a chance. For €0.99 it might be worth considering.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I feel bad for the people that got this game directly from steam... xD 0/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →took a chance at .99 but this controls poorly, the animation is janky, the enemy design and patterns are boring. Feels like a student project - they successfully got it to run with some basic mechanics thrown together, but this is not a solid game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow this is a low quality game. Even hadcore shmup fans will have a hard time justifying this one, no matter how pretty it is. Hit boxes are a joke, game mechanics are clunky, and standards it set for itself low. If only they had focused on making the game fun rather than pretty, it might have been something.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bad graphics, bad controls and bad gameplay. don't bother
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this is a great od style arcade game thats been upraded with 3d graphics, all of these whiny bastards giving it bad ratings are a bunch of whiny ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that dont have the skill or timt to ty and play it properly, the bosses are op as ♥♥♥♥ so someone should down their attack and health but other than that its fantastic
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rather average isn't it? Looks good and has a nice soundtrack but that's were it end really. It's a shame as I do enjoy a good shoot-em up, but alas I found this to be wanting. While you can use the XB360 controller I found it to be a little patchy and tended to pull to the right on it's own at times - not a good thing. Glad I got this as part of a bundle with some better games as I wouldn't want to pay full price for it. Worth a look if it comes on offer at 99p!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sadly, this game is simply not fun. It has dull levels and music, and simply does nothing to capture the imagination.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Quick ass gameplay! Spend around 100 minutes to play and finish it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →音楽が無駄に壮大な縦シューティングだよ、珍しいブラジル産ゲムー面白いNE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game could have been a lot better, but it isn't. The ship upgrading part of the game is pretty cool and that had me excited. Unfortunately, that was all. It would be nice if you received more money to better experience what all the upgrades have to offer. The collision/hit boxes are terrible, primarily on your own ship. You try and go around a stationary enemy and you end up with a collision even though there was plenty of space between. The camera isn't entirely top-down like most…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →UNSUPPORTED TRASH DO NOT BUY! The dev hasn't updated the game in over 3 years. It crashes for most people and the dev refuses to fix anything. Those who have played it say the game is bad. I can't play the game it crashes on the first loading screen every time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Shootemup & Bullet Hell Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Would not launch Waited a long long time for it to load - eventually it gave me a black screen with music and had to force close it. Steam consensus on it when it worked was that it was a poor title so im getting rid of this one Win1064bit+Ryzen+Polaris
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a bullet hell and you really have to try hard to mess one up. While there are much better bullet hells on Steam than this, if you could pick it up for VERY cheap, then I would recommend this game. It's not good, but it's not terribly bad. Would recommend at an extremely HIGH discount. Like 97-99% off. This game has a lower quality than some bullet hell flash games. Just play those if you enjoy bullet hells.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Upon opening, the game wouldn't load past the opening screen, a low resolution picture: "RAZER2: HIDDEN SKIES". After that, I couldn't alt tab out to close the game. I hooked up a second monitor, opened task manager, and I couldn't force the process to close. Taskkiller couldn't end this game. So far it is basically a cockroach. I had to restart my pc just so I could end the thing and uninstall the ♥♥♥♥ out of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I tried, I really tried to finish it but even on easy difficulty its hard to survive for long. I don't know what I was expecting from this game, I guess I felt like finishing a game since this one is only 1-2 hours long but I couldn't get pass level 6. The weapons, shields and slots are confusing af, and the 3 weapons you can chose to upgrade are worthless. The game is overpriced, with 10$ you can buy a much more entertaining game than this. I guess you could buy it for 2 or 3 bucks if you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a Shoot 'm Up arcade style game. Personally I have a big fan of these kind of games. But this game I think obviously a lot less fun Yes, there is possibility of upgrading body, arms, reactor core and many others. Game does not give me the feel of an arcade game. I can be much hit by bullets and not die. Until I get to the final boss you suddenly sweeps away. By the amount of bullets makes it confusing and dodge is almost impossible .. Joypad support is there, but works really bad.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really thought this was going to be awesome. blowing stuff up old skool style.... No. This how NOT to do a SHMUP. Boring. BOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNG! There are no interesting mechanics at all whatsoever. Get Atebreed or Ether Vapor instead of this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Run...run far away and never look back. This is without a doubt one of the worst games I've managed to pick up in a long time. "Squad coming" "Enemies Ahead" "Enemies from Behind" Repeat these three lines in a monotone, computerized female voice about ten gajillion times in five minutes and you have effectively experienced this game. I could comment on how it's not particularly fun. The controls and hitbox are sloppy, the weapons unbalanced, the music HORRIBLY out of place, the upgrades…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an ok game but the controls are very unforgiving. No controller dead zone means your ship will go in random directions sometimes for no reason. You can also feel those effects on the menu screen when it starts going places you don't want it to. The game itself is rather basic. The auto is odd, the music is really loud and the sfx and voice are very quiet by default. You can upgrade a few weapons to max very quickly and they become your default weapons. Just not all that enertaining after…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When we play games like this normally when you take one hit that means death. In this game you have a shield so the developers thought it'd be ok to make encounters to where you have no were to dodge. It will be ok I have a shield right? Wrong. Just don't waste your time. Not even for a dollar, trust me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →20 minutes gameplay and its already clear that this game is a fat, steaming hot turd. AVOID
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game looked cool for 2.50, but i feel like i wasted my money. No tutorial, No explanation of what upgrades do, or what in-game items are for; yes after a couple of minutes of game play you figure it out but im sure this has turn other players away. wish i could get my money back.
