Yes, I think a bigger and better game will be more worthwhile and more fun game. ----------------------------------------------------------- I paid full (sale) price (and I’m glad I did!) This reviewer just spent 30 minutes playing Rainbow Reactor, and I had such a great time I…

I have to admit that I am not a fan of "Match 3" so I tried to have a look around. The only spot reachable by teleport seems to be in front of the exit button. This is too bad since the building looks stunning and I would love to explore... The throwing part actually was surprisingly accurate, can't confirm the problems some other reviewers…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is Puzzle Bobble/Bust A Move in VR where you can throw the balls with either hand and mix balls to make different colors. It's fun, looks great, has good music, and has global leaderboards. Here's my green screen gameplay https://youtu.be/tGOIF2842qE
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fully functional, it does what it says on the tin. A serviceable match 3 in a genre that strangely see's little movement in VR. The positives: Seated or standing, it plays the same. Graphics are nice and tidy, and looks the part when you increase the in game rendering scale. The throwing mechanic works, the game is can be played at differing paces that will alter percentages of scoring, that is backed up by a global leaderboard. The Rhythmic update is a great addition, very like 'To The Tops'…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Experienced on the Oculus Rift with Touch Controllers Note: Received free Steam key as part of the Steam Curator Connect program. This is the best tile (ball) color matching game I have played so far in VR. What really sets this game apart from the others, is that VR is implemented fully in the gameplay to make for a new twist on this classic genre gametype. Most other matching games you're using a laser pointer to match colors, not in this game. You're picking up balls, matching them up or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm having a lot of fun playing this - it ticks a lot of boxes for me. I love throwing stuff in VR. The music is sick. The factory environment looks really good. The game has a sense of humour. The core game play requires good strategy. Works great on the Pimax!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game for everyone! We installed this game at our company to try our freshly installed HTC Vive with some non-violent, inoffensive content. Now the problem is, I can't stop my colleagues from playing! Young, old, male or female, everyone loves throwing and especially mixing these paint balls! Really a fantastic showcase that pretty much works for everyone and has you play more, the depth of the gameplay starts to reveal itself. Will be interesting to see how this game develops, so far it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game! This ‘match three’ type game deserves to be played by more people. I loved playing a similar game, Puzzle Bobble, back in the day and enjoy this game just as much. There are nine levels of increasing difficulty with level 9 offering a great challenge as you have to try and make 99 matches. The ability to mix colours to form other colours is a great addition to the game play and is well executed. I found the friendly robot, Dottie, to be adorable and, unlike some, won’t be turning…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a match 3 game that relies on your aiming being off to create tension... The graphics are colorful, the game easy to understand and pretty entertaining to play. Id love for a way (pistol shoot with a guide of where it will fall?) would be great. because my biggest frustration was that i didnt hit my intended target, and levels are challenging so having bad aim is a game killer. That being said, the throw mechanics are very well done, its quite probable my misses where my fault rather…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2 Minute Video Review → https://youtu.be/6UkTK6equbs Rainbow Reactor is a color matching puzzle challenge. When I first started playing it reminded me of the classic Puzzle Bobble game. But instead of shooting bubbles with a gun you’re tossing them by hand. You’re fed a steady stream of bubbles via rails on your right and left. And you’ve gotta toss them into the playing field to eliminate as many as you can. A set of at least three colors will make those bubbles disappear. And you clear…

I just wanted to drop in and say what a great game this has been .. :) I'm glad that you guys are still adding stuff. :) I read the recent news and just know there are people out there that greatly enjoy what you have created. I thank you for taking the time and talent to do so. I had to not play it for a month and a half due to an oculus S bug that did not allow me to throw properly in ANY game at all. They seem to have fixed that.. off to playing this game again.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Reactor is a Match 3 Game in VR. Like old Color Lines or Zuma Deluxe but way more fast-paced and difficult. Pros: + Throwing is very accurate and responsive + Almost as addictive as classic Match 3 games. There is something very pleasing for human brain in matching similar objects to make them disappear) And it's even more satisfying in VR + Varied difficulty settings for single match Cons: - Ricochets are way too punishing: when you miss a throw even a little, the ball could jump so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i thought this game was just match 3 for vr but the whole "combining colors" makes it a tiny bit cooler than that. being able to support my thumb on the new rift s controllers really helps with the ball throwing as well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is awesome!! I didnt know what i've bought but first thing what hit me was the overall presentation. Exceptionally well made imo. The level of polish is on another level. Physics are great and music, oh boy... as a long term NRW fan, this really ticked the box for me. Im on Vive and throwing mechanics are spot on. We are addicted!! Finally our little household Beat Saber addiction got a competition :) 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am usually not a big fan of color matching games but bought this game anyway, after a friend recommended it to me. I have to say, it was a good call. /// PRESENTATION Rainbow Reactor welcomes you with a beautiful and vibrant presentation. The graphics are good and considering that the developer team are less than a handful of people, it is quite impressive what they achieved with limited resources. I really enjoyed the sense of scale and looking around within the large environment. The Early…

If three or more of the same color are next to each other, they disappear and you score some points. Through the natural feeling of throwing, it all feels very physical. The nice 80s music, which is in sync with the spheres rolling to you from the left and right, almost makes it feel like a rhythm game. Definitely an interesting mix with addictive…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun, addictive game. I was surprised by the level of polish of this game, considering that its coming from an indie studio. The throwing mechanic is very well implemented and consistent, making it a very satisfactory experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Reactor is both a puzzle and a matching game - a certain amount of trial and error is needed to discover what needs to be done. However once under way it is surprisingly addictive, and the game play is very smooth. It has nine levels, and can be played in solo or party mode. This is a great addition to Steam's library of VR games and it deserves wider recognition.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun match-3 with a VR twist: you have balls to throw and colours to mix. (Just don't throw the controllers by mistake!) It's playable while seated, and you only need locomotion if looking around; you don't need it while actually playing. And even when you do use it, it's using the teleport method, so no problems for anybody who suffers from the VR equivalent of motion sickness. While I'd prefer a native version, it works fine via Proton.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Seems fun, nice graphics and game mechanics, robot voice is a little annoying at times but otherwise fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is fantastic! It's a shiny, fluid, polished, simple, fun and enchanting distraction. I love it! I was lucky enough to purchase it on sale, but I would absolutely pay full price. Bravo!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice idea! The game is very lovingly and detailed designed. The graphic is wonderful! The idea is excellently worked out for VR - the orientation in the room works excellently, the playing field has a pleasant size. The core mechanics - the throw - is implemented great and works great! [Only problem: With me (Rift S) there are always problems with letting go when throwing - but in my experience this is due to the sensors in the switch of the TouchController. If you remove the cover of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty simple game for the price but it's very polished and works well. Puyo Puyo with what ought to be an obvious twist for VR, very neatly done. The throwing mechanic works well - it adds a nice element of uncertainty that adds extra challenge - but could do with a little tuning for the Index controllers: you can bind "grip" to throw but it just feels slightly off. Apart from that (which I hear they're going to update soon), it's a lovely game to play solo and would also work well for a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Suprisingly fun game. Very polished with fun game modes. Instant buy on a discount.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little mini game to pass the time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great little mix of tetris in vr and the lab minigame with the demolition cube.. very beautiful and polished, too. a very fun minigame for in between longer VR gaming sessions, I would definately recommend it. and if you can buy it in a sale ,its a steal! have Fun :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rainbow Reactor is a fun little puzzle game for VR, here you essentially have to match up colours to score points, if you get 3 of the same coloured balls in a row they disappear and you earn points. The more balls you manage to get in a row the more points you earn, this makes a lot of space for strategic thinking. The game can get quite challenging quite fast, even once you've mastered throwing the balls you then have to think about the placement. As you progress through the levels the game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool concept, but the gaming mechanics just don't work. Throwing doesn't work right (I'm on an Oculus Rift) - throw it as hard as possible and it barely clears the beginning of the playspace.. Also, the left and right hands are reversed - something is wrong there:( It's cheap enough that I'm keeping it, but I hope it gets fixed.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple but fun. I was a bit worried that the throwing mechanics might not be accurate enough, but I was pleasantly surprised that the balls went where I threw them, and when I missed, I felt like it was my own fault. I like how the difficulty ramps up pretty gradually, with each level changing one small thing, but those small things add up. A bit light on content for its price in the current state, but I understand that it's Early Access. Would probably be a great game for introducing casual…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun concept. Finally a new way of playing the tired old match 3. The controls could be better with WMR, though.. a bit of trouble tossing far. The developer is very supportive and interested in improving the product.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Thank you Alex, your enthusiasm for Rainbow Reactor always was a huge motivation for us, as the game hardly got any attention when we brought it to PSVR2. But positive feedback can be worth more than money 🥰
unlabelledView post →What a gem. Throwing controls are among the best in all VR games I've tried.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very simple game. Beautiful graphics and sound. The environment and aesthetics are really cool. It is definitely fun and relaxing to play. Don't let the very first mission fool you, it definitely has at least a bit more depth than just beer pong with colored orbs. Worth picking up, especially on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like this game. It's a little more hectic than I expected but it's unlikely to make you sweat. I particularly like that I got it at 67% off, it's definitely a bargain at that price! I completed the 8 levels of the main game in about 2hrs but haven't managed to clear the bonus time stage. I also had a little teleport around. I haven't tried SINGLE SHIFT yet. The world you are in is well made and gives some grandeur to what is otherwise a quite simplistic game i.e. throw coloured ball in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun Stuff. Like the phone addict games, think candy crush plus pop-a-shot. It can get stressful and it takes a while to figure out the color wheel but all in all fun for all ages. Get this game for under $10 and have fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Actually I never liked match-3 games. But I also didn't like rhythm games before Beat Saber. In combination with the throwing mechanics, which work great on my OG Vive, Rainbow Reactor is a brilliant new game idea - challenging, action-packed and only possible in VR. Give it a try!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little VR game that's easy to grasp and control. Love that it features a colourblind mode - not colourblind myself but I don't think I've ever come across anything like that in a videogame.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very nice and fun game! Very good for the whole family. My niece and nephew are addicted.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun game! You throw colored balls onto a grid in front of you and you try to get 3 colors to match. It's a simple concept and very well done.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You have the index controllers implemented wrong. We do not want to grab the balls with the trigger, when actually grabbing them is way more immersive. Replying to the dev: What is this Steam VR window you are referring to? The tiny one I have does not show anything controller related when right clicked.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Update: It seems like the new update has mostly fixed performance based problems, my flicks register correctly now. Since this was my main complaint about the game, I am converting my negative review to a positive. Old review: It's a fun little game and could be great for demoing VR but the hand movement detection is laggy, it does not register my wrist flicks most of the time and this forces me to throw only using my arm in a way that is predictable. Since the core gameplay consists of…
