And when I say simplistic, I don't mean it's been dumbed down, I mean whack-a-mole has more complexities than this. You spawn soldiers and they automatically walk down the hallway towards the endless alien spawner. The only decision you have is when your soldiers should use their grenades but even those are on a cooldown so it's no big thing if you waste a few.…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mobile game that gets pretty boring fast and wants you to grind to 'level' your stuff up as well. Another fun bonus is it crashes when you try to take a screenshot. Even twelve years ago this game wasn't worth your time. I rather not have this much 'fun'.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a 'not-so-bad' tug-of-war game that can be fun for a moment. + difficulty can be choosen from easy to extreme. + upgradeable units & skills. + steam achievements (easy for first 75%). - a bit repetitive, but it's a short game, just about 3 hours. - no keyboard shortcut to buy units.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Get ready to send marines to kill aliens that no man's seen before!" That, my friend, is the plot of Alien Hallway in one sentence. Sorry for spoiling it. Alien Hallway is a light strategy game where you only manage the finances and hiring troops, who handle the destruction by themselves. Drones get you money by scavenging electronics. With money you can send marines to destroy the alien teleporter, the objective of every level. The marines are AI controlled and you can only choose, when to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It may seem like a mindless strategy game contradiction, but that's exactly what Alien Hallway is; an RTS with all the difficult decisions removed to make room for way more explosions and rag doll death scenes - and it's a perfectly satisfactory experience, although, you are unlikely to ever want to return to it once you've finished the campaign, there doesn't seem to be any replay-ability
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Hallway is a real time strategy game played out like a tug of war between you and the aliens. If you've played Swords and Soldiers, you get the idea. You gather resources with engineers to produce more and more, we'll call them Space Marines of various types to push back the alien onslaught and eventually destroy their teleporter and prevent the aliens doing the same to you. Units come in various types from the cheapest Flame-throwers who stand toe to toe with the aliens to the more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think they meant "corridor," or "passageway," or something less dumb and more exciting than "hallway," and it's unfortunate because the game is actually very fun. I've just spent most of the day playing it. The graphics were a surprise; The art direction and use of color were fun and surprisingly sophisticated for a game like this. The game-play is simple. At one end of a long corridor is your barricaded turret, and at the other is the alien device through which all the invading forces gush…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Congratulations commander, your soldiers are the perfect recruits! Give them some cash, point them in the direction of the enemy and they'll charge headlong in to battle and shoot anything they see... what more could you want? ✅ Simple gameplay. ✅ Constant monitoring in battle. ❌ Quite short. ❌ Lacks information. In Alien Hallway, you're in a tug of war against an alien enemy - both intent on destroying each others base. You do this by recruiting a range of soldiers with different weapons…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Hallway is a totally new action- strategy shooting game for the PC developed by Alien Shooter series makers, Sigma Team company. Here, in Sigma's adrenaline-fueled game, players measure stamina with a never-ending stream of green creatures within the borders of a special military mission. The rules are severe and the fate of Humanity is put on the line. Control an entire army in a challenging single-player campaign mode with a simple click of the mouse. With an approachable interface,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Hallway is a strategy game that follows the tug of war formula presented in popular games such as Swords and Soldiers HD. Unfortunately for Alien Hallway, the game contains bare minimum of features presented in a tug of war game. The maps are hilariously small, with no branching paths. This means that for the majority of the game, you are left sitting on your ass spamming buttons until either you or the alien opponent is defeated. There is no strategy involved in this setup, the miners…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You are in a hallway for this game, fighting aliens. That's basically it, this game is a simple tug of war type affair with little strategy or subtlety. There are unlocks and upgrades but they require disproportionately large amounts of effort to get them all and the game is so repetitive that replaying holds no appeal. Good - graphics are ok ish Bad - rest of the game is boring and repetitive Not recommended, 0/5
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I actually really enjoyed this game, My only gripe is that it seems impossible to complete the game on extreme. Otherwise a fun little time killer..!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You'll find some Flash games better than this game, I quit playing after 1hour playing. I wouldn't have bought this game unless I had got it via "Alien vs Zombie" bundle for US $0.99. lol (Japanese translation below) ================================================== その辺のFlashゲームのほうがマシに感じられる内容、1時間で投げ出しました。 101円のエイリアン対ゾンビバンドルが無ければ、まず買うことは無かったです。
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →2/10 I can't believe that they had the nerve to charge money for this. Sigma team have produced some simple fun and mindless games in the past. They also made this piece of drek. From the somewhat lost in translation "Story" which makes little enough sense to the awful execution of the game this was just bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Low budget? Yes. Mediocre graphics? Yes. Endless hallways of relentless cliche aliens? Yes. Addictive, rewarding, and enjoyable gameplay experience? YES YES YES. After playing this game for a few hours, and realizing the paradox of having so much fun with such an unimpressive experience, I literally thought to myself, "I might actually be the biggest fan of this game that exists in the entire world."
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Hallway is a decent 2.5D tower defense title where you have to defeat aliens. The graphics are poorly done, as well as the interface. The sounds are nothing to write home about and the gameplay is exactly the same as 90% of all the other TD games. Trust me if I say you'll have a better time with any other of those titles. Is it that bad ? No, it isn't, but it just isn't fun or challenging. [Rating: 58/100]
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mexican people fighting against the USA disease. Beautiful game. I'm hungry. Wanna buy me a taco?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was a minor guilty pleasure for me in some ways. I enjoyed aspects of it, even though it's kinda dumb and lacks any real attempt at creating lore to explain the need for drones to mine the crystals (or whatever), and everything else. It's a quick and easy game to understand and complete. Pros: + The aliens are neato, even if their design is what you'd expect. + Watching the slaughter can be enjoyable. Cons: - A lot of stuff doesn't make sense (making it feel more like a Flash game,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well the title says it all, Alien Hallway, to be blunt aliens in hallways, that is all there is to the game. To say it was made simple is an understatement, this game is so basic in nature that even a little child can play it. It's like the most basic version of lane defense/attacking that you can think of, Tug of war like game, you have no actual control over the game at all, you pretty much spawn soldiers and they walk by themselves down the hallway towards the aliens, the fighting and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Although this game is one of the better games from Sigma Team it still is a lemon! The game is a simplified TD style game in which you have to defend a corridor from alien hordes. IF you like Tower Defense games, there are far better games to play. And buying it only because it has achievements is a not well thought justification for buying it. It's a mindless little game for maybe one or two breaks to waste away, but don't put too much time into it. It's very fast routine, and after it got…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its like Alien hallway...but its Maplestory!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Worth the price. Would like to play more like this!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very simple humans vs. aliens tug-of-war strategy game. It´s mindless & repetitive but good for a casual playthrough. You simply do nothing than clicking for your various reinforcements to spawn in and watch them going to the right, till they break through the enemy lines and destroy their base. Many upgradeable units. Unfortunately you cannot play as the aliens :( I only recommend it to play in between times, otherwise it gets really boring -_- Just don´t pay more than a dollar for it or…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked it overall. Not the most spectacular game in the world, but some mindless fun now and then. Easy game to get all achievements if you're into that sort of thing. I'd buy it again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bad game. Doesn't have depth and has very repetitive gameplay. No replay value. Buy Alien Shooter TD instead, which is a good game and has replay value.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Hallway is not your typical masterpiece. It's not Skyrim, Dragon Age, Civ III, or any of the other amazing games we have played in our lives. But, you know what? It's still a masterpiece. It is simplistic, visually -- meh, audibly-- meh, interactively -- clickity click click. But I have over 50 hours in this game, have every achievement, and still, I keep coming back. I really can't explain it. It's like Mona Lisa's smile. It's not fancy or showy, it's not over the top. Alien Hallway…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simply Horrible. I don´t know why I picked it up, and I wish I didn´t but I did, so now I´m here to tell you that you shouldn´t.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its clearly one of the worst game I have ever played. Gameplay is stupid and repetitive. All you can do is clicking at buttons when are of CD. New units looks almost same like those you get before. No dmg stats for units, no point, terrible lame writen "whateveritis" before "missions", not a single idea, strategy means nothing. Dont buy please. This is garbage. I own 600+ games, and goes to my Worst 10 list on Steam. Achievements are easy to obtain so if you like to have as much 100% as…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very short game that is certainly not worth full price, but I actually found it pretty fun in the sense that it is a casual click-click strategy game. I mean it's basically mindless mouse clicking when your units or artillery are ready, but there's a lot of action going on at all times that makes it feel engaging. As you complete levels you earn gold to power up your units which keeps it interesting, but your units end up being overpowered against the enemy letting you pretty much…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very cautious recommendation, this will not suit everyone. And an X-Com like it is not! So, what is it then? Well it's almost an idle clicker and almost an auto-battler with VERY light strategy and tactics, basically picking which units to throw in the, uh, 2D hallway full of aliens and deciding who next to allocate power up points to. It is very basic and pretty grindy. I suspect that many people might even say it is boring and lame. But sometimes I'm a sucker for lazy, low-effort…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was the first game I won at SG.. I didn't thought it through too well and because of that I haven't really played this game until now. It was a simple -thankfully- short tower defense game, with aliens. At times I got a bit bored but perhaps it's just me, I've outgrown these types of games but I had to pay the price of my actions :P Since I was at it, decided to go for the achievements, were easy but grindy, all required substancial amounts of coin that you had to play missions over and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Hallway is a spiritual successor to an ANCIENT game... Rescue Raiders. Basically, you need to manage you resources to build just the right type of units at the right time so you can blow through the enemy waves and through to the next section of the base via the "hallway", thus the name. The only "trick" of this game is build the right units at the right time. If you build too many units of the wrong type, you can't build the right units, and thus you can't hold the aliens back. All you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty typical line strategy\tug of war game with endless possibilities for overleveling and grinding. There are no hotkeys, though. Well, buy one — get one.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you got it in a bundle or you got it for a dollar, then its a nice short game. You just send troops to the "hallway" to fight npc troops and then destroy their base. Remember starcraft 1 custom maps? Something like that :) 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →(CATEGORY) "Poor/Sub-Par/Average/Great/Superb" 1-5/5 (Score out of five) (OVERALL)- Personal rating VS Average Score – My personal rating for this, based mainly/heavily on price, is 80% (Five dollars does not go very far in America right now, so this is a pretty fair deal). My Average Score is 3/5 (60%) (GAMEPLAY) "Great" 4/5 – If you have played Plants VS Zombies (PvZ), you will be very familiar with many of the mechanics of Alien Hallway. You have a single unit who produces Energy…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little time waster. This enjoyable little game is light on strategy and high on action. It's very quick to complete but I feel you could have a second playthrough on a higher difficulty without being bored. The goal of the game is to kill the object at the end of the hallway. You do this by spawning guys from your side of the hallway. The enemy spawns guys at his side. The idea is you spawn guys with traits to counter the enemy traits. Once you push back the enemy enough you attack his…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The basic premise for this game was strong and rather enjoyable. The gameplay concept most certainly would have been a hit if not only for the game's rather poor production quality. While I didn't encounter any bugs, the sparse attention to detail detracts from the overall experience. The game starts with a very enjoyable mechanic, but ends up not expanding on it in terms of complexity and longevity. I completed the game in just over two hours on the hardest difficulty and found myself wishing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a bad resource management RTS game. Pretty simple stuff, basically just choosing which type of troops to put in the battlefield at any time. Still well worth the few pence I paid for it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like tower defense if both sides are controlling the creeps. Kind of tedious, poorly made, but not utterly unsalvageable as a game. 2/5
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well...I guess it's a nice game...I would actually play it more IF IT WOULDN'T HAVE RESETED MY ACHIEVEMENTS FOR NO ACTUAL REASON!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably the jolliest Armor Alley I spent money on. Well, 's also the only one I recall spending money on. But still.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crazy how you can still buy this on steam....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I kinda liked it. Yeah, it's short, a bit repetitive and grindy if you want to complete the achievements. But it has it's charm. If you have a bit more higher standard than me: Alien Shooter TD is the goat! Get that on sale!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an interesting game, which is kind of like a Base Defence, where the goal is to protect the base from being destroyed by the incoming alien invasion. Instead of building towers, machines and traps to kill the incoming enemy waves, player has various soldiers and skills at his/her disposal. In order to purchase soldiers and skills the currency is needed. The currency can be obtained by recruiting robot workers, which harvest the resources on the map, and provide certain amount of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It´s a tower defense game about protecting an alien station. Graphics are okay, music is fitting and it´s good enough to entertain you for abot 3 or 4 hours. Not really bad but also not really good. I would honestly not pay 5 Bucks for it... but for less in a sale you might get a time killer... if you ignore thousands of better time killers.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has changed my life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun tower defense game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DISCLAIMER: This is a first impressions review, and NOT a full review Alien Hallway is a game developed and published by Sigma Team The game offers some pleasant graphics and graphical style, although some ugly glitches here and there, it is pleasant all the same. Alien Hallway is a generic game but fun nonetheless RECOMMENDED :) REVIEW SOURCES: None
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not the most interesting game, the graphics and sounds are mediocre and you have seen most of the content after a few rounds, but it plays quite nicely and kills some time. Would not necessarily recommend it for 5€, but maybe on a sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Verdict 👍 Recommended (very niche) A short, weird little game I finished once and never felt the need to replay… but it was still okay for what it is. Personal context ⏱️ Finished in about 2.5 hours. I do not remember the details that well anymore, and I would not play it a second time. Who this is for 🎯 Play this if you like: short games, “finish it in one evening” experiences, and you do not mind something a bit rough/forgotten. 🚫 Skip if: you want depth, long-term replay value, or a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I enjoyed this game, more than I thought I would. I got it on a whim (during Summer Sale), and I am not disappointed with my purchase. I love to play games like these, and the graphics were actually very nice (even by today's standards). Sure, as many people have said, it is quite simplistic, but I think that is what works for this game; it isn't overly complicated, but not so simple that the game isn't good. Liked the change of environments, and wide range of enemies; always kept you on your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mediocre tower defense. Graphics are nice, gameplay and upgrade path are acceptable. I'm bored to death after 30 minutes and ready to go play a better game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an interesting linear RTS. Every time you finish a stage, you earn money and unlock the potential to go onto the next one. You use the money to upgrade your units and your income, the cost of each upgrade the value of the previous two upgrades added together. Unfortunately this makes upgrades almost not worth it at all if you didn't need them to try and beat the game on extreme difficulty. The music is kinda bland and the whole game just feels kinda soulless. There's little simplistic…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't really see the point in moving forward. This has to be a cheap cell phone app game. Level after level after level after level of the exact same thing, where each level is a xerox of the last one. Nothing to it but to click the icon to build a soldier and another to build a gatherer, etc. Imagine starcraft or command and conquer only this is to teach morons basic motor skills. There is nothing to it that warrants a continuation. I've only played about 15 minutes on normal and 8 levels in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This review originally written on June 11, 2012 on GameFAQs "An interesting game concept, but overall a disappointment." This is the most recent game by Sigma-Team, released in December 2010. Sigma-Team up to this point has almost exclusively been doing their Alien Shooter games. This game is nothing like those. How the game works is you build units and send them to the other side of a simple, long hallway. Your bots gather resources allowing you to build more units, but you don't actually…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An enjoyable couple of hours. Get it for 50c on gala store
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth playing, you will hate it after a time and find it boring, aside from being too repetitive, there really isn't any sense of progression nor it seems that upgrading your units does actually anything.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Would I recommend Alien Hallway? YES! It's a fun little game, you can complete it in a few hours but for the price you can hardly complain. It's a casual game to kill some time if you're bored while waiting for something or if you want to play something random for a while. Your objective is to defend yourself against waves of aliens that are invading and attacking earth through a means of teleportation. You have to fight them back and destroy their teleportation beacons to stop them from…
