It's just very lackluster right now. Edit 2: wow I thought this was early access. If this is meant to be a full release, its even worse. This is in Beta at best. Original Review: WARNING: LONG. Ok, after about 90 minutes of gameplay I already have a list of pros and cons. I know this is early access and will hopefully continue to have features…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am so sad that I need to leave this review while this game is so cute and has a lot of potential. The game is fresh with graphics, it's mostly well made in the graphics department. Cons are that the tutorials are lacking explanations, click hitboxes are too small, time cycle doesn't change and it's mostly unclear in what direction the game wants you to go. Also, it takes a lot of time to bake a cake or cookies, it doesn't have that urgent feel to do everything in time to it. It has so much…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!! It is janky, the music is AI generated, everything it confusing, nothing is intuitive. I ended up refunding it yesterday. Absolutely horrible.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The concept of the game itself honestly was really cute. Run a Candy shop, decorate and put sweets together. Why not? It felt more like running a bakery than a candy store? which I suppose cookies and cakes and ice cream count? I was met with a bit of disappointment. I'm surprised its not considered early access? Here's some things that I enjoyed: - The models and character creation were cute. It's simple and it got the job done. Not the best but I was okay with it. - The graphics and lighting…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To make life seem sweet. This is exactly what I was missing. Don't get me wrong, other store simulators were cool, of course, but a candy shop is much more fun. Selling various types of candies, treats, and other sweets and making people happy lifts your own mood. In terms of gameplay, everything is as usual: we arrange goods on the shelves and serve customers. The abundance of assortment is very pleasing. A wonderful game to spend an evening with. If you read the review and liked it, don't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fresh, but I didn't notice any issues during my hour-long gameplay, except for the movement. The game itself is quite fun, and I even enjoyed it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After I finished the tutorial of this supposed full release game, I feel like my mind was wiped of all the information I just received. Once you have finished the tutorial mode, there are no extra steps or goals in the game. Am I really left to my own devices? I couldn't figure out how to reorder lollipop bags--I couldn't for the life of me relocate any of the tutorials on my device to relearn anything. The cake making mechanics / mixing feels clunky and repetitive, so I can't imagine what the…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very poor game. If this was early access then i would cling to a little hope but as a full release, its bad. Really bad.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was excited for this game since I've found it. I have played the demo for almost 4 hours which is a personal record because I don't play demo at all for any game. So without even playing much the full game yet -- I can still say that I love the game. I myself haven't found any bugs yet, no crashes either. The game could be a little more optimised for mid-range PCs. Turning down the resolution, and turn shadows off-- then it's kinda okay.. The stylised graphic is a favourite of mine, even…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its not as interactive in actually making the candy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Sir, another Streamslopsimulator game has hit the Chunts Channel. It's jank but like not in a real fun kind of way. The mechanics are clunky, the visual are not great, the food which is the focal point looks like straight a**. The UI looks like a mobile game from 10 years ago. This game needs to go back in the oven to bake a bit longer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this one for a bit and sadly can not recommend it. The camera controls are way to jankie even after adjusting them to there lowest setting. I tried the different camera angle/view and it was horribly jerky. Game play was super complicated with way too many steps and tutorial was useless. This was not fun at all and feels like it was a rush job as it still needs a lot of work and refinement to be worth it. I expected this one to be way better with what you see in the trailer.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While the motion sensitive was a bit too high, there was occasional clipping through the wall, and the pouring sounds were more reminiscent of a wet fart than any actual baking batter, I was enjoying my start in this game. I played through the tutorial and looked forward to actually starting on with the real deal while streaming it, when my mod discovered that the demo used generative AI for creating the character images, portraits, and some other in-game graphics. For a pair of game…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is fun for it's sale price, not super in dept but I still had fun and I hope they keep adding and improving on the game. If the game is on sale go for it and you'll know if you like the gameplay loop or not within a hour. However things to keep in mind. -Controls are a bit weird and turn the camera sensitivity down right away. -The loop is a bit mindless but not in a bad way? -Wish you had better control over the price of things in the shop instead of just a one slider fits all.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Meditative simulator of managing a delicacy store, I really liked this way of spending time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember playing a game about a candidate when I was a kid. This game gave me a good nostalgia. The mechanics and the idea are good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good simulator in which you can build the store of your dreams, and after this virtual training, bring this idea to life
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another one of those simulation games that are way too common on Steam, just quickly made, hoping for a quick buck, and then abandoned. Everything PlayWay S.A. publishes is just slop now..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Candy Shop Simulator is a charming business management game that transforms the simple idea of selling sweets into a surprisingly enjoyable entrepreneurial journey. Developed by Games Incubator and published by Games Incubator together with PlayWay S.A., the game places players behind the counter of their own confectionery store and challenges them to build a successful business through production, customer service, expansion, and careful financial management. While it embraces a relaxed and…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →How does the same team that made Chocolate Factory which was a brilliant simulator that I gladly dump countless hours in, make this garbage? It's not anywhere near the level I was expecting. It's 100% point and click. Extremely boring. It feels like it was given up on half way through development. The graphics are terrible. It's nowhere near optimized. I've played mobile games that look better. It's beyond disappointing. The sad thing is we know they could do better but chose not to.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is sweet
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Candy Shop Simulator is a fun and relaxing simulation of running a candy business. Stock your shelves with lollipops and marzipan, bake your cake layers, draw little ducks with frosting on your creations, and dive into this sweet — if a bit too simple and childish — game. Video: https://youtu.be/5x70JwNumIA
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Recorded my first impressions of the game and uploaded the video to my channel. The game needs to be a little more clear in the tutorial about where to click and what is or isn't an interactable button. Outside of that... the game is fun, the cake detailing is fantastic and overall pretty relaxing to play. https://youtu.be/BS3hael1B4s

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While it's not perfect, there's a good foundation here! I dove in without a Tutorial, meaning I didn't have guidance for most things - however, even in that case, I was able to figure out most of the mechanics rather easily, which is a good bonus. The gameplay loop isn't too bad, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that I wasn't entirely stuck having to spam create cakes/cookies/lollipops, and could do so at my leisure. Once I hired a cashier, things went even more smoothly. The persuasion…

So I really did enjoy the game at first, but I will be honest, it got a bit boring and repetitive after a while. As others have mentioned, the day feature being 24/7 does make it seem off. If you opened in the morning and closed the shop at night, it would make it more realistic. It does seem hard to "unlock" new cakes and baked goods and maybe I just don't understand how to progress in this game, but…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ellietendo's Review Of Candy Shop Simulator I received a free copy of this game for review purposes. I used a mouse & keyboard combo for gameplay. Pros: Fun Idea – The idea of running a Candy/Cake Shop is a really cool concept and one that works really well in the current “simulator” market. The fact that you can essentially build your own shop however you want, is always an incising theme to any gamer wanting to get the “Simulation” fix. Customization – Of course with these…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great only bad side to the game is it crashes either your game or your whole PC after 3 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rating positive despite issues because they rolled first QOL update fairly quickly. Hope this is not the end of updates edit: no more updates, all other games from this dev are also slops, glad I only bought one
