negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wow what a terrible game. Can only play against the AI, not against humans. That wouldn't be so bad, except the AI is awful at poker. I mean really awful. For example, the AI telegraphs the strength of their hand by their bet sizing. Also, donk leads into you after you were the preflop aggressor mean either top or middle pair every time, so you can either bluff raise on overcards or fold if you have no equity. Overall, it's just a bs cash grab imo. I've played a ton of poker in my day…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Texas oops I ment to say Pure Hold'em is a poker game, yea figure it out... There was me last night entering a game for first time, lights were off, AC was on, light smell of ciggaret I smoked few minutes before, with game atmosphere gave me feeling like I was in reall casino... no bs. Let's go with pros and cons now: PROS: + Graphic is awesome + Music chilled casino style + Gameplay: Tournaments, sit 'n go, leaderboards, smart AI, playing offline mode you earn money to play online, high/low…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This so doesn't worth the price tag. It actually should be F2P. Really. Bought it during Christmas sales, and even then was surprised how terrible it is. I had more fun with Poker Night at the Inventory and Poker Night 2, not to mention the F2P The Four Kings Casino and Slots. There is no need to tell you about the negatives about chat or lobby or that you have to buy chips with real money. And I don't mean chips like skins or anything like that, which is also the case, I mean CHIPS TO PLAY…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To read the full review of this game, please visit Mouse N Joypad; http://mousenjoypad.com/reviews/pc/pure-holdem-review/ reviewing a poker game is actually kinda hard. If you’re reading this review, most likely, you’re already a huge Texas Hold’Em fan, and you know that these games aren’t really different in the big details, but rather in the small ones. I can imagine your primary concern being lag dropping you out of pocket aces. I can happily say, from what I played, I didn’t see many…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fairly attractive Hold 'em implementation - but lack of an online community really sinks this game for me. If I'm going to play Texas Hold 'em vs. AI opponents, then I will play Poker Night 2.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Total Disaster. Havent been able to play a single hand online or offline. The game always freezes when it's my turn both online and offline. The only way to leave the table is to close the game because the YES button doesnt work. Jesus Christ I can finally "call" for once now without freezing after reinstall, but then it freezes again Did you devs play this ♥♥♥♥ yourselves before release?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is officialy BROKEN. do NOT buy as you can NOT play either tournament OR open table. Wait for an update.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible.. punishingly slow on every menu screen. Cannot change the view or speed of the game
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Predictable AI, slow play and useless in game purchases..
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is broken. Not able to get into any online games! Do Not buy this game (even on sale). What a letdown VooFoo.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Terrible until player vs player is introduced .. So far all you get is "unable to connect to server" .. how fun is that for over $20?!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played once, now 22nd in the world 10/10 Would play again
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First refund request ever. A game that you pay REAL Money for that later asks to be paid REAL MONEY to purchase additional CHIPS.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well here's my review :) https://youtu.be/faY8tj4CXaM In summary, casual gamers - wait till this drops to $10 Poker fanatics. It's worth picking up now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great poker game, the graphics are great and I love the table and card options. I have the game both on the PS4 and on Steam (albeit I have played the PS4 version more) There are different tournaments with different buy in fees from a bar to a penthouse you can bluff your way to being a rich trillionare. There is a daily game of high and low which you can play to win chips, bank anytime or try to get the max amount if you are good enough, you also get chips by levelling up or you can…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice looking take on the classic Texas Hold 'em game. And none of the risk of your usual real online poker!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Where does it say you have to pay to play this game?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love this game. Been looking for a quality poker game that looks great and is fun to play. The online play is fun and its great to pit your wits against other people, as well as AI if you fancy it, even if you don't have any money lol. Would deefinately recommend for both hard core hold 'em fans and novices who want to have a go. Highly recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool poker game. Positive: +Graphics are great. +Plenty of tables to work your way up to. Neither positive nor negative: Don't really care about the music, I tend to mute and run my own. There's nothing inherently wrong with it though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Never had a server available, game is a rip-off beware.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pro - Looks Great, Music. Neg - This game is all about in game purchase of chips, the same as Zanga on FB. no online games as no one there, tryed 5 times. Do not get taken in by how it looks, stay away from this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Only single player not multyplayer >.<
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →>plays 10 games. >55 in the world. 9/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pure Hold'em's stunning graphics take me back to the feeling of being in a real casino in Macau.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very slow and AI gameplay isn't realistic. Betting 10 chips into a 300 chip pot with the nuts. Also all the credits I earned for leveling up disappeared when I reopened the game. 600 credits gone.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Contrary to the opinion that bugs have been fixed this was a bust on my PC. Error 0xc000007. Never had a problem with any other game on Steam. Glad it was on sale price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not so much pure Hold'em as pure BS. Read the reviews and avoid. I wish I had !
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an awesome game! Was looking for an online poker game on steam for a while. Finally found it and it's amazing. Wish I could have more people to play with. Bots are way to good bluffers. It has a good teaching for people who's newbie at poker and wonderful design 10/10 would rip off my friends chips
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very solid game! Most negative reviews are from the launch of the game, they´ve fixed the issues and everything works now!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Servers down since October (as far as I know) their support will not help you out with this problem and so you can only play against A.I. Don't buy this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Their server keeps crashing. When their server crashes, you lose in-game currency. Rather than crediting you with in-game currency when they are at fault for having unreliable servers, they expect you to pay real money to make up for their mistake. My recommendation for the developer is to store every players state so that as their server continue to crash, the end user is credited for the mistake.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥ this game it has nobody online. play governor of poker.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good game to play with friends. The only poker game where you do not have to pay for chips... And in addition it is a beautiful game. I recognize that the game had some problems when it came out but it works perfectly now.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun, Well made game, It was even more enjoyable playing with the ripstone team online in live streams on twitch, I won this game from a live stream and if i did not already own it, I would definitely buy it. Recommendation: Yes, I would recommend to a friend based off my current expereinces.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Unable to connect with steam server for 2 weeks..Asked for refund..Refused
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I had never known true greatness until one of my opponents had decided to go all-in on a queen high hand. This must be the perfect archetype for the Übermensch concept that Nietzsche came up with in Thus Spoke Zarathustra.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game pure hold"em is running in slow motion!! SUCKS
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →well i dont like poker at all but the graphic and the game seems good : D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't buy this game... just don't...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still no servers to connect to. I have a feeling there are no servers any more. Unless you want to play against AI this game is not for you. I purchased this to play against humans and my friends, but we can't now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nice casual game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is really fascinating relaxing and the most fun Poker I ever played! Solid 10/10. Recommended :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the game is not connecting to server
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I was looking for a new online poker game. This hit the spot. Great game, nice interface and intuitative design. good servers and easy to get in and out of games fast. would reccomend to anyone.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rigged Tournaments. Rigged Hands. Rigged Online Play. Devs were so bad they shutdown.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice casual game but the online store doesn't work for the PC version, severely limiting your options. It works fine for XBOX and PS4.The developer studio has been dissolved and it feels like the publisher has abandoned the game. Until the issue is fixed, do not buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ONLINE PLAY DONT WORK
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love gambling
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No offline tournaments. Force quitting the game does not reset your chip count back to where it was, thus it secretly auto saves your chip count during a game which renders it as an unfair game mechanic. Wants you to MTX "buy" chips from the main menu, get that crap off my screen. Online play is dead and has always been dead, thus any online based achievements cannot be done. Higher buy-in chip counts can never be obtained as the game will never play fair. Low level music and sound effects. DLC…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun online and offline poker game. Unlike many other poker games, this one has nice, high-res graphics which are easy on the eyes. The bots are OK; nothing to complain about nor praise. I would recommend this game to anyone who enjoys playing poker to pass the time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Balanced by a singular quantum force, all distribution is of quota and frequency. Individually while universally it is through all spreads in every classification simultaneously 🃏 The betting patterns of the AI might be easy enough to read and 'beat' in one way or another. I'm not here for that. Here to read distribution, Pure Holdem provides immeasurable means of fine-tuning the skill, to then amplify impeccable habits toward the most incredible action. Literally 999,999 out of 1,000,000…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the graphics in the game. That's about it. Game seems to take forever to deal a new hand after a round ends. The AI play is suspect. You also can't show a hand after you won if everyone folds. Also seems to take an excessive amount of time starting/ending a game. Will often get a blank black screen for a minute or two before the game seems to snap out of it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →how do i buy money?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is unfortunately a classic example of a VooFoo game. Aesthetically beautiful, but absolutely dead with very limited single player playability. Like so many others, I love me a game of Texas Hold'em and I am always on the lookout for a good game just about that, but never really succeeded in finding a really good one. Unfortunately this also isn’t it. It is totally dead online and was pretty much dead since release. It also is pretty much featureless, with nothing but the game in its…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like it alot so i think other poker player might like it too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is well put together for the most part. Only problem is that in certain situations the game only gives you 3 seconds to make a call. I have been in the process of trying to raise multiple times when the game folds my hand while i was having to click the arrow to increase my bet. Seriously needs to be fixed. Other than that I have had an awesome experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best poker game on steam
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First- Pure Hold'em is a very enjoyable game- on console. However, for some reason, it ran very poorly on my PC. I don't understand how I can run Gears of War 4 at a steady 60 fps on high settings, but a poker game ends up looking like a slide show. My recommendation: get this game on PS4 or Xbox One (where I originally bought it), not on PC. Saw this and decided to update. Keep in mind I still stick to off-line, AI play. I hear the multiplayer is pretty desolate to keep that in mind. However…
