40 of 40 · most liked firstHurricane battles! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2825608093 STORY Missing. GAMEPLAY The gameplay is a twin-stick shooter. A lot of levels with waves of attacking enemies. In addition, there is an arcade mode (4 launch options) for scoring and fast running. The hero starts with standard weapons, but if you collect the treasures that appear, you can find mind-blowing guns and other power-ups. Enemies attack in large clusters and you have to run very quickly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the fastest and most relentless twinstick shooters I've played! There are a lot of levels, powers ups, and enemy types. I especially dig that each level looks very unique and has its own layout. Staying alive can be difficult, but the game doesn't penalize you much for dying. Scoring is way more important than surviving, and you are encouraged to collect score multiplier items as quickly as possible even if you have to die to do it. I love that the power ups get dropped out of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At this price, Alien Death Mob punches way above its weight. I love the retro aesthetic and each level is really unique in appearance and in gameplay. I will say that the game seems impossible at first until you get a feel for it. It would be nice if it eased you in a bit more or explained its mechanics a bit better (or I could just suck at these kind of games, I could never get into Geometry Wars). Overall, it is a tough game, but once you realize how to avoid enemies and grab shields and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice little twin stick game! Definitely worth the price. Would suggest confining the mouse cursor for mouse and keyboard users, and a a non-yellow mouse cursor for the yellow and white background levels would be so much easier to aim. Cheers!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There is such a thing as too hectic even in this type of game. There's just too much going on too fast and you scramble to even aim in the direction you need to. Other than that there really isn't any interesting progression, you get random temporary weapons (why cant I enjoy my weapon?) and try not to die. If you beat a level, you get a new level that is quite the same. Hurray. Kudos for not making this brainless like Vampire Survivors and allowing the player to aim their weapon.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bullet hell wave defending levels full of angry aliens to shoot at with twin sticks and crazy powerups. Add side mode fun for when the story is a bit rough, and you've got an intence little package at a nice price! https://youtu.be/UalfVdjx8wo
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Intense and frantic crowd-shooting run 'n' gun goodness.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played this 20+ hours on another account, and I almost got a perfect score on every level! This game has an incredible amount of content for the price. There are dozens of levels, each with its own graphics and enemies. There are lots of weapons. There are bonus mini-games that are just as fun as the main game. The game is a relentlessly paced twinstick shooter. There are so many bullets and enemies that death is basically inevitable on most levels. However, dying doesn't matter nearly…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Introduction Alien Death Mob is a great twin stick shooter with bullet time! In Story Mode you take on alien hordes in stand alone country themed missions, survive through multiple waves to clear them. Classics inspired arcade modes are included. Levels The story mode has 35 missions, each mission features a unique country themed level with obstacles and procedurally generated waves of aliens. There are also 4 different Arcade Modes, two inspired by Robotron one of which has 8-directional…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Temporarily adjusting game to positive review until I get a chance to try the game again. Old negative review can be found below. ------------------------------------------- I wanted to like the game, and my first impression was pretty great. If you are only interested in a classic arcade game like robotron you'll probably be fine with this. Personally the thing that really interested me in the game though was that I seen there were set missions with score goals to aim for. This is the exact…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pug Fugly Games really is the master of recreating the 8 bit retro arcade experience. Be warned: It doesn't just look retro, it plays retro. Super challenging like the old 90s penny eaters. The pace is frantic and just look at those graphics. This is a super challenging bullet hell. It's massive with 30 levels, plenty of powerups, and stacks of enemies. The retro arcade experience is faithfully recreated with some glorious 8 bit graphics For more niche curation, follow me at:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun in theory, except I can't see ♥♥♥♥ in half the levels. Add accessibility options to disable flashing colors and make all the backgrounds black like Destructivator 2 has, then the game is flawless. The arcade minigames are fun enough alone to be worth the price though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wales map and Welsh translations, also fun arcade game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game overall, but it’s not without a few things I would change. First, I would much rather see detailed, high-rez graphics instead of the pixel graphics it has now. However, I will admit that the pixel graphics work better in this game than in most others I have seen, particularly in the “Story” mode where you scroll around a large map. I think the “Story” mode is a bit unbalanced. This was the first mode I played when I got the game, and honestly it had me wondering if…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →So good! I played old PugFugly games decades ago, and found them fun even then. I'm delighted to see them still producing games, as well as seeing that their tracker music acumen is still fantastic (excellent composer, especially for classics like The Cleaner). This game is so simplistic - a twin stick shooter along the veins of Robotron 2084, but significantly better in pretty much every way. The powerups are plentiful, the maps and enemies are varied, and sound effects and graphical style are…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Colorful twin stick multi-environment Robotron clone. If you enjoy Robotron, this is more fun, more colorful, and overall a better experience. To the devs, that music looping on your preview is hurting the game. Thankfully, I didn't hear that horrible song in the game. The in game sound effects and the car dropping powerups are great. Alien Death Mob also has a better version of Beserk, Robotron, and Space Invaders all built into this all in one package. If Arcade 1 Up owners knew about this…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the perfect first-gen console experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like twin stick shooters and want a hardcore horde survival version with a lot of charm (like I did) then Alien Death Mob is your game. Slowing down time if Bullets or enemies are near you is an incredible cool dodge mechanic. With time and experience you will dance through fields of enemies and projectiles and it feels more than good. Simple but satisfying gunplay on top of that, diverse maps with diverse enemies with diverse behavior, diverse Gun pickups that play differently and you…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Here's my thorough review: its f****** amazing. If you're here you must buy it. Please add D-Pad movement!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lots of fun. Highly recommend using a gamepad rather than kb and mouse.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely a video game, which makes it perfect.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun game that feels well-made in every way. I've played through the first two stages so far and had a blast. My only problem is the lack of achievements; I have trouble really getting into a game these days if it lacks that extra carrot. I know that's definitely more of a "me" problem and not a "this game" problem, but if there's any possibility that achievements could be added in the future, I'd be ecstatic and much more likely to prioritize it on my backlog.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good video game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it, played it, dug it. Like 3+ retrogames in 1: Space Invaders + Robotron twin stick shooting, Berzerk-atron and of course Robotron in both story mode -- Paris meets Robotron? Zowsa. This game is bullet hell nirvana and only $1.99?! iiRcade needs this, well, yesterday. This will be a mainstay on my Steam Deck for awhile!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is hard. There's so many colors and moving objects that it's hard to keep track where your character is. However if you like challenging twin stick shooter games then this game is definitely worth a shot since it's so affordable.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →O jogo é bem voltado pro genero arcade retro! Ele tem algumas homenagens legais ao space invaders, berserker e robotron. Jogos clássicos do fliperama. Se você gosta de jogos tipo Vampire Hunters, jogos retros e de arcade, recomendo!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →stressfully fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fast & furious fun, I return to it quite frequently to see if I can better my score :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Death Mob delivers what it promises - an exciting no-nonsense twin stick shooter. Within one minute of starting up the game you're going to be blasting armies of cute aliens. The moving and dodging feels extremely good, and the forgiving bullet time when enemies are near enables weaving between tightest of gaps in all the chaos. I found chasing after a 5 star score on each level to be rewarding - the score system drives players to make daring plays and move around the map actively. The…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game is rock solid. great fun. well worth the price twin stick shooter goodness to the max
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brilliant! I love it. It's got a really nice retro 8 bit vibe on top of the modern gameplay and it's as fast and crazy as you can get. Perfect for this kind of twin stick shooter thingy. Well worth the price - it's got loads of different levels and baddies to rumble with. It keeps you coming back for one more go, which is exactly what you want innit? Basically, Pug makes really good action games. Go on, buy it! Then go buy their other game Destructivator 2 cos that's another great one you…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Alien Death Mob is a fun, sci-fi shoot 'em up game with amazing retro art and music. This game is highly addictive. Its simple nature makes it easy for anyone to get into right away. Short, but good. positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Incredibly fun twin-stick shooter over dozens of levels themed around Earth's countries, all of which are being swarmed by alien hostiles. Each level that I've played so far has its own set of creatures to shoot down, the bulk of which clutter the screen with their bodies to provide cover for the bigger beasties laying down the firepower. Shields and other power-ups appear with helpful regularity, although "helpful" only goes so far when it's so easy to get greedy and die chasing after a…
