Reminds me a lot of Motherload back in the day, played that to death. If you liked that you'll love this Brings back my days playing Motherload as a kid I love a good Diggy Down game. Ever since Motherload way back in the Flash days. I've played a good couple of these and this is certainly the best after Motherload. The game play loop is simple but fun. The variety of excavator mechs is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm going preface this by saying I am a little biased. I loved the game called Motherlode and this reminded me of it. I wanted to play it with that in mind but that was a mistake. This is a much simpler version. This is a version that I would imagine would have been good on phone if Motherlode couldn't have been ported. Needless to say; it's just a generic mining game. It doesn't do anything special or unique. With the cheap price I still would suggest just playing Motherlode. The developer…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I’ve been enjoying Mining Mechs overall. The core idea is fun and there’s definitely a solid foundation here. But after spending some time with it, there are a few things that started to feel a bit frustrating. First, the teleport cooldown being 5 minutes feels way too long. I understand it’s probably meant for balance, but in practice it just breaks the flow. There were multiple moments where I really needed to reposition or go back up quickly, and instead I was just staring at a timer. It…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →AFKing is better than playing. Mining Mechs is a dig-down game with absolutely terrible progression. It's far too simple to be interesting and far too slow to be fun to sit down and play through. The gameplay of Mining Mechs is to dig down, fill up on dirt and valuables, and then fly back up to the surface to empty your inventory, buy consumables, and upgrade your mech. The upgrading is where the design failures of the game show. Each of the mechs you can access has a number of upgrade…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →About 25 years ago my friend and I discovered a free flash game, Motherload, and stayed up all night taking turns digging a hole together. We had a great time and still remember that night to this day. This game is basically a replica of that game. It doesn't hit quite the same as it did for me back then, but it scratched that nostalgia itch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, yet fun game. Check the screenshots, what you see is what you get. HUGE TIP: Make your central mine where the pipe is.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played all of these guys games now, and perhaps unsurprisingly, their first game is the worst one. Which is good, it shows that they've learned as they developed more. First off, the digging, it's extremely slow, Even when you max out your drill, even the soil at the top is pretty slow. What I often do on these games is dig out every single bit of dirt I can and bask in the results. I will not do that with this one, oh my god. When you get further down, if you haven't upgraded your mech…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Copy of Motherload, but worse. ;P Motherload Fine N' Good Old Gold!. This game is also alright, but true experience is Motherload. (Super Motherload, on Steam.)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is pretty good idk why everyone's hating. I give it like a 7/10 on a normal scale, factor in the price and it's a 9/10.

unlabelledView post →Cheap but very fun! Bunch of ores, mechs, upgrades to mine and collect. I do wish stuff like trash and treasure/jewelry was a little more common, since if you play with more than like even 1 person you can't obtain the "collect 100" achievements for everything in one save file. Though you can just spin up a new world and play again. Maybe the game could go lower than 1000m and instead go to 2000m to accommodate that. Still a very fun game that was less than a dollar, well worth it for that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game! The game is the same thing as a MotherLoad flash game way back in the day.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →When the game was first released, I saw alot of my friends bought it and I was like.. O.O I jumped on the bandwagon too but I did not play it immediately because it did not really appeal to me at that time BOY WAS I PROVEN WRONG! I started playing it a few days ago, and oh my, I. AM. HOOKED! The game really pulls me in easily and I seriously enjoyed it so much just digging around and completing both the side and main quest I do not have much complain about this game, except I do wish that we…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why is this EXACT style of gameplay like catnip for me? Tile based, dig downwards, acquire treasure, sell treasure, improve digging, repeat cycle. It just makes the brain dole out the happy chemicals like nobody's business. It's like popping bubble wrap. I will admit this entry into the diggemup (?) genre is a little basic. There's no real incentive to completely strip out an area because the cost of upgrades scales incredibly fast. For the same reason, you'll probably want to only unlock…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →**Motherload was better.** Mining Mechs is an okay game if you just want to play through it and reach the end. The mining and upgrading are fun enough, but the grind gets really boring if you're going for 100% achievements. Honestly, the old Motherload Flash game was more fun. It had that same addictive mining loop, but somehow managed to keep things more interesting. Fine if you just want to finish the game. But going for 100% achievements? Prepare for a seriously boring grind. 😅
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do you like mining games? This will probably scratch that itch. It's pretty low-end and basic, but you sure can dig down, get ores, sell them, and upgrade your mining mech. The mechs only have a few specs: -mining speed/power -flying speed -ore storage -dirt storage The flying speed gets useless pretty quickly, because you can use a consumable item to teleport up, and gravity will take you down easily, so really there are only 3 relevant specs. Consumable items: -3 types of explosives,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dont know how i got this game but looking at it, i thought its gonna be a easy game to 100% Boy was i fking wrong. Its not even hard in the slightest, just needs hella lot grinding, or you can earn money afk which i did most of the time but still need to do alot of grinding for achivements

unlabelledView post →There's a big old mining video game sale going on which is music to my ears. You get Mining Mechs, Super Mining Mechs, and this game Bore Blasters for about $11. I love digging games I don't know why it's monotonous but relaxing. Woooooo!!! #Steam #Videogames
unlabelledView post →Short game, but I had a lot of fun. 100% worth the price. Like many others, I came for the Motherload nostalgia and wasn't disappointed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty fun rogue lite with some fun ideas, good gameplay, simple narrative that's easy to learn and fun to play. I was bored and found this super cheap and gave it a shot. Kinda shocked I spent almost 8 hours with this game but glad I did. There's a few things that if changed for sequels would make it a LOT more enjoyable though. It's a fun loop to mine, collect, sell, empty dirt, grab an upgrade, buy a power up, etc. Lots of steam achievements which are mostly easy to get but more…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Casual mining game. It simplifies several aspects compared to Motherload like upgrades, there is no way to really lose. There is however a way to set up passive income with which you can avoid some grind or... make mine hunting an extra grind if you prefer. Insead of fuel to run out, you have dirt storage (fills by digging empty tiles), which is an interesting approach. All that combines to a different take on the genre where time is not your enemy, but it can be a friend. You don't play…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a long time fan of Motherload, this game is great! + Multiplayer is smooth! + Funny NPC characters + Digging is satisfying + Getting the upgrades makes a difference + Can re-spec your Mech + Cashing in is satisfying + Teleporting is cheap + Worth the price and was able to play with family! only odd element was when you buy a new mech it will be weaker than your old one until you upgrade it some, was unexpected - but actually became enjoyable when you get used to it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Semi-decent mining game, not on par with Motherload. This game is interesting at start then, it does get a bit tedious, the digging speed is quite slow, you can of course upgrade and use items to boost digging. When you hit 900m youre up for an surprice... I finished the story and side quests. Roughly 10+ hour game to 100% achievements Pros: - Buy and upgrade vehicles - Find new mines underground that you can connect to your local mine excavator operator to earn some cash per second -…

unlabelledView post →I haven't played this for long, but I already got a taste of what it's like. You mine with a mech, sell the stuff, go mine more, buy upgrades for your mech, buy a new mech and then repeat the cycle. You can also get passive income from a mine. Definitely not my type of game. It's basically all about mining. And the second mech I bought was a piece of turd.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The general idea is nice, but there are enough quirks to make me give it a thumbs down. A few examples: - There's not enough difference between mechs, so skipping one or two makes more sense. - Drill power at max for the last mech still feels super slow; I'd argue that the difference between no upgrades and max upgrades is barely noticeable. - The max inventory cap for bombs is quite dumb. Five bombs is too few when dealing with big rocks that need two explosions—you break two rocks and have to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A simple mining game that I enjoyed. The upgrade system leaves a bit to be desired, but overal positive experience if you don't expect too much.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice , chill and casual with mining mechanics , upgrades and passive income. Surprsiely fun for its sale price. I listen to youtube in the background while playing this
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mine resources, as you help solve a mystery. Collect tons of different resources, sell them, buy new mechs (miners) as you dig deeper, upgrade em. Honestly, felt like an old WEB game. It does get a bit repetetive and boring, so I'd suggest multiple sessions. What I did: listened to podcasts and watched some videos while playing this. AMAZING music! There is an online co-op, so maybe you can finish it all much quicker. Up to 7 friends. Also, I suggest finding mines along the way and when it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you remember the old flash games of digging and upgrading and just excellent music and silly jokes in the plot, this is absolutely for you. i'm over 6 hrs in and only about halfway cuz we grind babyyyyy. And that is only the first og map with no mods. This is a treasure and THERE ARE TWO MORE GAMES PLUS TWO EXPANSIONS. Best discovery ever.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is a good game and it definitely worth it on discount. It reminded me of an old Windows Phone game, I always wanted to relive that experience and finally I have found a game like that. I only have two gripes with it: - Upgrading the drill strength doesn't increase the drilling speed on squares closer to the surface. I think it is a missed opportunity to make the drilling a better experience. - Buying a new mech feels bad, as you need to upgrade it first, just to reach the power of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it on sale for the price of a small water bottle and it's still a waste, especially of my time. As i was trying to 100% complete it, it gave me a ton of time what to write cause the achievements are so boring, it just makes you mine 100 of each ore and 5000 in general, what fun. It would be even better if it didnt have any 'story' cause it was a waste of brain power to even read that poor excuse of a story and the upgrades were absolutely useless, even the best mech was slightly better than…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ALL MEN YEARN FOR THE MINES With that being said: I absolutely love this game. Super fun with friends, and an overall great series to get into. Essentially all you do is mine down and sideways to collect ores, to sell them, to afford upgrades, so you can mine more ore, so you can make more money, and mine the ore faster. Very funny story, highly recommend as a fun way to pass some time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall it was a fun experience. The gameplay loop is simple and satisfying, especially in the early hours. It does get a bit repetitive over time, but the humorous storyline keeps things engaging. Achievements are easy to complete, making it a relaxed 100% run without much frustration. Performance was smooth throughout, with no noticeable issues. Replayability is quite low, but it’s still a solid one-time experience worth trying.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Easy to learn, and fun to play with friends. Very short game though, got all achievements in a little over 10 hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a born-again classic with novel mech pixel art and exactly the cheesy storyline you were expecting. Great value, too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is nice as music and clasic mining gameplay part. Like some people say, if you leave it AFK you can get more easy coins, for who is lazzy to play it. The last machine at 1 Milion $ I was expecting to be more fast or special but is not so wow :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent digging game. I really liked the main character and the dialogue was fun. There were enough side things to do (like hooking up the mines) that I wasn't bored. 10/10. Edit: The DLC is awesome. If you want more mining with fun skins to give it a fresh look, buy them!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really relaxing - good for listen to audiobooks.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and addicting, just like the Venture Capitalist phone game. You will play a lot of it when you start playing it, then when you had fun you will live it behind and just be left with good memories when you look at the title in your library.(even if you will probably never play it again after you played it once) Simple game, but a good game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun but nothing crazy. Definitely a turn-your-brain-off kinda game. The dialogue is corny as ♥♥♥♥, to an obnoxious degree, but the mining/resource collection is satisfying so I guess it's worth it. I bought it on sale for like a dollar, so I can't complain.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/33401179/]Follow my curator page for more reviews! I'd give Mining Mechs a light recommendation. It's maybe a 6/10, a decent but pretty basic Motherload-style mining game. There's full online co-op support, which is a big positive since it's pretty rare in this genre for some reason. If you're itching for another mining game and you've already played the best ones (like Motherload, SteamWorld Dig, Wall World, etc.), then I'd say this is worth picking…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It’s a pretty nice little game. Could be better though, like adding more upgrades for the mech, maybe some new features or abilities, stuff like that. It’d also be cool to have an upgradeable vision system that affects the camera, like letting you zoom out more or something. It’s kinda pain having to keep going up and down all the time, so a teleport to go down too would be nice. There shouldn't be a limit on how many items you can have. Overall it’s a nice game, just could use some…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Eh, it was kind of basic and not much fun really. Steamworld Dig is a lot better game. Kinda wish they would do a remake of the original Motherlode. Edit: Thank you for your response. I can see where you were going with the game, but it just felt... flat. I went and replayed the game for a bit to give it another chance and to pinpoint what I didn't care for. The dirt mechanic... that was one of the annoying things I found while playing. And the characters and quests and everything just…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Super casual and fun game, quests are easy, achievements are simple to complete, so you can complete the game easily, you can also let the game run idle and keep generating money from a few mines, perfect for relaxing and casual play, highly recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and simple mech mining game. I had a great time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A solid casual game with a good gameplay loop- turn off your brain and enjoy. It did get a little grindy about 2/3 through, but it didn't hinder me getting 100% achievements in about 7 hours. I recommend it on sale as a good time waster for a few days.
