If you want to sell 10 different complicated but high priced pizzas at the same time, you can - there's nothing stopping you from customizing your pizza whatever way you want to. If you want a relaxing experience or just to tune out for a few minutes and let your brain relax, just serve a few kinds of simple pizzas for a few in-game hours. If you want, you can even set how long the in-game workday lasts. If you want…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While Pizza Express has some great depth to it and a lot of indie charm, the controls are fatally flawed. Specifically, the mandatory use of the mouse. You need to use both the keyboard and the mouse, and cannot just bind things to the keyboard. The hit-boxes are too small and make mouse movement frustrating when dragging things like dough or ingrediants to their destination. Yes, there is mouse acceleration options, but unfortunately it didn't remedy the situations for me. I'm telling you -…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple, yet fun game with an incredible emphasis on customization. Seriously - you can customize literally everything you can possibly think of: from basic stuff like yor restaurant's menu to the table's disposition and working hours! ...And you can also send spam e-mails on the internet to advertize your restaurant, if that's what you'd like to do.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well what could I say about Pizza Express? At first sight you may think that it is a short game with some limitations, but in reality it's a full-fledged experience. It's a simple. yet effective and challenging managerial game where you run an 8-bit restaurant and make delicious 8-bit Pizza for the hungry 8-bit people! PROS + Managerial game at its finest - you can make your own Pizza by adding any ingredients you want, upgrade your restaurant in different ways and manage advertising. +…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →80% A talking cat teached me how to cook a pizza 15% I had made my own pizza with tuna and ananas, and I named it with my name 5% the cat's female friend, I think she's on drugs It's like Cook, Serve, Delicious, except with a full and deep story. Not sure this is needed, I only want to make pizzas. For my pizza, I haven't unlocked salmon yet, will switch it with the tuna asap. Hey, no ♥♥♥♥, I tried it irl and it's good :D
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I must admit, when I first started it and saw it running I thought i was gonna just play for 5mins and get bored and quit. But before I knew it I was few hours in and wasn't bored at all, quite the opposite. It is a fun little game that doesn't look like much but can keep you entertained for hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great cooking game with a dated ui and way too big pixels. The core of the game is very good: good story, good art and music, and fun gameplay. I love pixels, however Pizza Express pushes things too far in the sense that normal sentences don't even fit on a screen. The ui is because of this too clunky. I haven't played other cooking games, but I think there are plenty of alternatives. More reviews at [url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/39546715/]Omnivore Gamer, games that are…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An incredibly fun and addicting game for anyone who is into cooking games, or tycoons/simulators. Here's a gameplay & review video that showcases all the features I'm going to talk about https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-Dr4YYwoIg Pizza express gives you control over so many aspects that come with running a restaurant business. The details are what make the game so satisfying to play. You choose open and close times for the restaurant, cater to vegans and lactose-intolerant customers by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game would be way more fun if it had hotkeys. As it is, it's a fast track to carpal tunnel syndrome.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pizza Express is a place you can create your own menu, charge your own prices, advertise your business, and perk up an old joint. It's super fun. My pizza joint was all about veggie pizzas. Few complicated and way over priced, some few ingredients, all on wheat bread. Apparently my customers loved it, they happily forked over money for my over priced pizza. What I expected a quick hour play game turned into eight fun hours. Only con right off hand, the game is easily less than a 10 hour game.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really addicting game, that gets you hooked up to the story and the characters sooner than you'd like to admit ;). The gameplay itself is simple yet customizable in so many ways you'll never get bored of it. The different choices you can take along the story makes it feel almost like a visual novel, however as soon as the restaurant opens you're immediately put in action, which is a positive thing for me considering I'm not really fond of novels/reading in general. The only negative thing I…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hilarious restaurant management sim! This funny 8bit pizza restaurant management game is a little gem at a totally fair price. If you enjoyed Cook, Serve, Delicious, you will for sure enjoy this game. The core gameplay revolves around making pizzas by combining the correct ingredients. The staple customer patience (like in Diner Dash) will of course affect the performance of your pizzamaking. Contrary to CSD, which has a very limited management part, Pizza Express has a generous ingredients…

Stupid pixel art that forgets how pixel art was shown "back in the day". I like pixel art and enjoy it in most presentations but this is just a bad looking MSpaint game with no charm. More importantly it's a pain to read the text because "back in the day" monitors interlaced with scanlines. Even CRT computer monitors had CRT phosphors and…

Here are some of the pro's and con's I can think of: Pro's Stunning 8bit graphics Interesting and ongoing story, which is going to keep you entertained for hours Filled with joyful music (even if you don't like it, you can import your own music!) A high detailed tutorial, explaining everything you need to know Customizable work shift (you decide how painful and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They should use this to train pizzeria employee's. I'm putting this down on my CV. But in all seriousness It's a Brilliant little game that has kept me occupied for hours. There is plenty to do, a story line and lots of fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Part clicky-minigame, part management sim. Start up your own pizzeria, unlock ingredients, create new dishes in any combination you want. I advise making a pizza that's just plain dough and a single handful of hotdogs. Call it the "STUPID IDIOT SPECIAL" and watch as your stupid idiot customers gobble them up by the dozens. Pizza Express is a somewhat less polished and more crunchy/low-fi version of Cook! Serve! Delicious!, with less fluid/fun action gameplay, but much deeper and more…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I genuinely enjoyed the time spent so far with this little title. The little things done with the story, the characters, as well as the surprising amount of customization allowed with the difficuly made for a very fun, challenging, and satisfying experience for less money than an actual pizza. It's understandable if you're on the fence about something like this; however, the developer was kind enough to provide a very nice demo of the game available on his site - linked below for your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TL:DR Interesting idea, bad controls. Pros: Making your own pizzas, changing and upgrading ingridients. pixel style. Cons: It seems to have been ported from a low-end old phone. There are too few pixels across the whole screen. And by far, the worst problem, the one minus that should have made the game, but it breaks it instead. Sluggish controls. You have to really move your mouse across the table to bring ingridients and pizza dough to neccecary places. I wouldn't mind it, if it had number…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am unexpectedly delighted with this game! I grew up during the DOS years, and have seen gaming evolve over several decades. I never thought that something that nowadays looks so primitive on the surface would entertain me for so many hours! Pizza Express is a casual game in which you build your pizza restaurant in order to be top in the town. Gameplay revolves around two phases: planning and business hours. During Planning, you find out what new ingredients you've earned, create new…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'd give this game an overall 5/10. Not the worst game on Steam, but the tutorials never end, the way the game was designed is ehh and you have to Ctr Alt Del to close out the game, how do you make a game and not even have a way of closing it out except through force closing it. The music drive you up the fking wall!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Holy moly this games was horrible i just wanted to make pizza and kill time but the blasted cat kept talking for over half an hour and i had to quit.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm 7+ hours into this game and still enjoying it immensely. Its pixely graphics may lead the casual browser to perceive that it is a bit of a cheap game and will perhaps not have much that's satisfying to offer, but don't let the appearance fool you: this is one of the best business simulation games on Steam! I am very surprised at its depth. There are essentially two phases: day (open hours) and night (closed hours). During open hours, customers will flood into the store, order pizzas off…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun and addicting, I seriously can't stop playing it. The 8-bit graphics are very nostalgic, the gameplay is fun, and the plot is interesting. You can control how your business does and your discisions effect your income.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is like every browser pizza making game from your childhood, but on crack. The pizza making elements are fun and you are able to customize the menu, restaurant, ingredients (including the grade of the ingredients along with delivery times for when stock runs out), working hours (how long you make pizzas for), advertising, as well as the names of your pizzas and the price they sell for. You could literally sell dough with Tuna and Fries at an insanely high price if you wanted to. The…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Could be good, but at least I personally didn't get a kick out of it an hour in. But the soundtrack in that hour was banging, so it's not all bad. I suppose you could say I got it for free as it was a "Claim free game" after buying another game. The game just somehow just feels very clunky. But if you can get past the UI clunkiness, I'm sure this is enjoyable!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this simply because it was less than $1. Did not expect more than a few brief playtimes of it before consigning it to the virtual dust gathering pile as often my cheap impulse buys (and indeed some of my expensive impulse buys) end up. Especially with this art style that while holding nostaligic value should have been consigned to the flames long ago. However this game ended up surprising me. It is really fun, and the amount of play input needed between the main feature of cooking up…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are some bad things about this game, but the good outweighs the bad. The tutorials make my eyes bleed, the music makes me wanna die, and the story is a little silly, but you can skip/modify those things so it becomes bearable. The simulation itself and challenge is actually pretty fun and casual so far. I'm enjoying making my own menu, that's pretty cool.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pizza Express is one of those games that may not sound all that exciting on paper. Putting ingredients on pizzas, managing business hours and taking care of the financials of a pizza joint doesn’t really sound too exhilarating. However, look at a game like Harvest Moon. That game series manages to make planting crops and feeding livestock fun as heck, something I never thought possible! Even Euro Truck Simulator seems to have a large following, and the game mainly consists of simulating what…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game. It's a some kind of papa's pizzeria type game, but with a lovely story line. I really liked the fact that you could change the "customers patience" (considering the fact that I get stressed easily), so I 100% recommend it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I sort of bought this on a whim and i'll tell you. The UI is terrible. I mean, REALLY REALLY BAD. It really makes the game unplayable.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →not very fun, has furries
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The forced mouse controls are very awkward. The hitboxes are tiny. The game needs to be ported to tablet or something. I do not know if using a touch screen monitor would feel less awkward but I can imagine so.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great management/arcade game. Pros: Tonnes of customisation options, loads of toppings, upgrades, advertising etc. You have to design and name all your pizzas. Gameplay is fast-paced, challenging and addictive. Choices you make affect the story, sometimes even the types of pizza you have on your menu will affect things. Cons: Restocking takes aaaaages. All of the pizza-making is done with the mouse so when you have tonnes of toppings you end up furiously dragging and dropping as fast…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game inspired me to open up my own pizza place. Yes, now im in 400,000$ of debt and my family left me, but the game still inspired me. That is the highest recommendation i could ever give something.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game! The game is alot more in-depth than I expected. Various management functions (such as advertising, and price management). The creativity is great too, allowing you to make your own pizzas and name them! Buying various types of ingredients needed etc. Its endless too once you get past a milestone! Can't fault it. And its difficulty settings make it great if your a casual gamer and dont want it to be too hectic. Or if your a mad clicker in need of something that keeps you wired.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I wasnt expecting to like this game, Although it has become quite addictive. I dont play many retro games but this one is an exception. Sure the graphics are a mere 8-bits and at times it can be a bit hard on the eyes. This game has its charms. You start off with a simple pizza store with hopes of one day winning 1st place in the F.L.A.B. restaurant competition. Along the way you design your custom pizzas with ingredients that range from your basic pizza toppings to stranger toppings like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a great game. Ok, it looks terrible, and it's full of talking animals. But it's actually really good. In this game, you run a pizzeria. It's an authentic Italian pizzeria, so that's cool - don't go in expecting all donner / tandoori meat pizzas with garlic bread and fries. Expect Italian ingredients, and choice of about a dozen types of cheese. You choose the names and what's going to be on the pizzas, the quality and quantity of each of the ingredients (each ingredient has taste…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely detailed and expansive management sim + tense, reflex-testing pizza-making marathons. It manages to feel both very fun and very tiring. Honestly, this game feels like hard work! With the stakes being raised each business day, you feel a constant pressure to do more, better, faster or lose everything. With the stress comes great relief and a sense of accomplishment from surviving another throng of customers. Best in short bursts but has enough content to keep you playing for a long…

unlabelledView post →It would have been fine if all you had to do was make pizza, earn money, and be able to use new toppings. In reality, it seems that a variety of factors influence the game, such as the choices you make in the story, the time of day you open your shop, and the amount of money you earn. On my first playthrough, I didn't get to increase the number of dough types, and I finished before I'd used many of the toppings. What bothers me most so far is how slowly ingredients are replenished when they run…

I went back and forth whether to give it a thumbs up or thumbs down, but for a cheap game, it was all right, so I'm going with a very soft thumbs up. (I'd give it a neutral rating if I could.) positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You are roped by your friend Lucky into the job of preparing pizzas for her friend Gastone's new pizzeria. Officially, you are in charge of rolling out the dough (with just one click), and pouring sauce and sprinkling ingredients onto the flattened dough. This is your main role when the pizzeria's open. After work though, you are also in charge of the kitchen's setup and the type of pizzas on the menu. After work, you are also unofficially in charge of advertising, setting work hours, and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I first saw this game on greenlight ages ago, and I'm glad they were able to release it! Controls are a bit awkward at the start, as you have to use both mouse and keyboard to navigate the menu, but you quickly get the hang of it. As someone who has played a lot of management game, this one is a very good example of the genre. Complete control, have a lot of basic pizzas or really complicated ones, invest heavily in advertising or not, it's up to you. I've only played a couple hours so far,…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I do feel quite torn, because the game is great - except for the mandatory use of the mouse.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I just started playing this little gem and I already had tons of fun. Many options to expand your pizzeria and you even need some brains to figure out how much stock to keep at hand and how to price your pizzas. Much deeper than the childish look it might have on first look. And there are anthro characters. :D Also I'm really starting to want to know what happens in the story. :) Great!

There is a backstory to give the game a little flavor, but the essence is creating different types of pizza that you then have to build and cook during operating hours. You unlock new ingredients and the ability to create more recipes as you play through the campaign. There is also a challenge mode where you attempt to serve as many correct orders as possible within a time limit. There is nothing groundbreaking here, but its a fun and entertaining…
