23 of 23 · most liked firstI really don't understand why this game was not more popular when it came out. This game has more unique aspects and additions to what is losely a grand strategy RTS then any game i can think of. It's a dated game, very dated...but it's a risk sized grand strategy map, where you deal with battles on a RTS scale, with very realistic combat, nice graphics and the ability to take personal control of the units. This makes it sort of a grand strategy/RTS/Plane&ShipSim all in one. Seriously...why the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game before Steam started tracking gameplay hours. Rest assured, I gave it its second, third, and fourth chances. I can safely say that this game is a piece. Of. ♥♥♥♥. Buy this only if you want to hear the words "FIYYUUH" over and over and over and over and over again.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This gem is one of my all-time favorite games. It brings me back to PTO II on the NES system. It can be a little overwhelming for beginners, but once you immerse yourself in the challenge, you won't be able to turn it off. Grab some redbulls and enjoy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Remember the heady days of SSI's venerable "Great Naval Battles" ("GNB") series, from "GNB 2" on (the original "GNB" was a Microprose title focusing on the North Atlantic)? Well, "Great Naval Battles", a series that was loved by players, and undermined by critics, has finally reared its' head above the dust and waters in this game. Specifically, "GNB 2" which focused on the naval battles and activities centred on Guadalcanal, though this title encompasses the entire Pacific, not just that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, i got this game for what would be half a dollar, and i gotta say im very shocked that a game like this was even made. In its surface its a very interesting 3D space WW2 pacific war RTS, then i find out you also have a rather ♥♥♥♥♥♥ but still improvised flight simulator and unit control on every vehicle, then unit customization based on timeline and R&D, THEN that most of the game takes place in a 4x-esque pacific map where you have to micro manage you sending ships, making bases, logistic…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →excellent graphics and game format, that allows for buildup of forces resources and objectives that can be played as Grand Strategy or at the Tactical Level with Heavy Cruisers, Submarines, Aircraft Carriers, and the Heavy Firepower of Battleships. Great Fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i love bundles <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →1.5/5 The game is incredibly noob unfriendly. I was there only for the steam cards anyways. First thing you do is get faced by walls of text and match settings but you basically have no idea what to play and what to do. AFAIR it has a tutorial but I couldn't bare it. Simply a boring junky strategy game with 3d environment and effects.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have some interesting ideas but it's very outdated on every level, if you can get past that it can be fun but if you are use to moden look and feel it gonna be hard.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the studio that brought us World of Warships much later down the line. This is a detailed simulator/rts/grand strategy hybrid. It has some technical issues but overall very unique, especially when the game came out. I love battlestations midway and pacific games, but compared to this it is like comparing Call of Duty with Arma. Both i consider great games in their own respected genres.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tags: Tactical Additional Tags: Real Time Strategy Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Obsolete Product Review: This is a fully featured tactical game centered around the sino-american wars in the pacific. It is surprisingly granular in that you can set maximum ranges at which your units will attack ennemies, how aggressive they are, call reinforcements. The camera seems fairly powerful with a zoom in zoom out, full rotation. This seems to be the kind of game where you have a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pacific Storm is an unusually ambitious World War II strategy game that tries to represent the Pacific conflict from several perspectives at once. Developed by Buka Entertainment and Lesta Studio and published by ESDigital Games, it combines strategic management, real-time tactical warfare, resource administration, technological development, and direct control of individual combat units. Instead of limiting the experience to isolated naval battles, the game asks players to consider the wider…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This fills an awesome niche that you didn’t know existed. Somewhat buggy but the management of resources and bases and everything else involved it very detailed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mixed thoughts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pacific Storm is an absolute blast! This game takes you on a wild ride through epic naval battles, and I found myself laughing as I tried to command my fleet while dodging everything from rogue waves to enemy fire. The mix of strategy and chaos is perfect; one moment you're plotting a brilliant attack, and the next, you're frantically trying to save your ships from a surprise storm! The graphics are stunning, making the ocean feel alive, and the sound effects had my heart racing. If you enjoy a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →game mechanics are easy to understand
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Utterly broken.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was a great game for its time, but it's very, very difficult to play now. Too many hotkeys, unit control is not good. The game just feels old. Despite the unique features that simply do not exist anywhere else.
