negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"your version of Order of War is cracked, press Okay to exit" yeah yeah yeah ok buddy guy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crashes at least once on every mission. It got even worse in the final US mission, so I gave up on finishing the game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is quite poor... Additional info: Wargaming (OoW's publisher, russian company) has deleted my >10yo account w/o prior notice with only one e-mail stating the account was already deleted. There is no support contact for those without an active account, so I can't even reach them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Company of Heroes if it was voiced by the anime kid in highschool
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not buy. Game keeps having memory crashes even on lowest settings and in safe mode. Go for CoH instead. In order to reduce memory error crashes. Set the game on lowest settings and everything off. Follow the safe mode option on steam. https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1216-JMTZ-0860 Make sure you launch the game on safe mode. I have not tried to turn off VR and Steam overlay. That might help to allow the game run better. There are 9 missions for each faction during…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →first off: this is a great game for tactical WWII combat. the graphics detail is excellent it is very easy to play all actions require you to use a mouse you don't really need your keyboard. second they have many variants of Axis and Allied equipment that reflect correctly the impact they had on the battlefield. i.e. you can call up an artillery unit to support a local attack on a hill or across a river. very cool! sadly i recommend you don t buy this game, Wargaming abandoned this game in…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I loved to play this game years ago, and I recently decided to try the game again. Unfortunately, the game is completely unplayable due to an "out of memory" glitch that pops up after a minute into a match. My system has more than enough to run this game (it's not even using half of my system's RAM when it crashes), but the issue seems to plague a lot of players, and there is no fix. Not even safe mode works, as a lot of people suggest. Anyway, from what I remember it was a fun, not very…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Order of War once was an awesome strategy game, no doubts about that. But the test of time has ruined it's legacy. Not because of graphics or gameplay issues. It is the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game that has technically turned into a constantly crashing and troubleshooting dumpster fire. It sometimes even tampers with your internet connection! Seriously, the game has aged into a malware... Jesus christ, how is this even possible?! I really liked this game back in the day. But recommending this would be like…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the first game i've ever had on steam. This game is amazing and i've really enjoyed it. Sadly the game keeps crashing despite me having 32gb of ram. The game crashes due to a memory error. It's sad that i have to give it a thumbs down. It's a great game when it works.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It. Keeps. Crashing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game, wish it had more maps.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Crashes all the time. Units ignore move orders and shoot at the wrong targets. Pretty poor.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A Belorussian WWII game with no Soviet campaign while you can play Nazi campaign against Soviet, what the hell?!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →been playing this game for 12 years
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game runs fine on my Windows 11 system, but I did have to use the -fullscreen switch to get the game to run full screen. It is sometimes unclear exactly where your troops should move to engage the enemy. I had a situation where there were columns of trucks and tanks moving along the roads to somewhere, but it did not seem they were moving in the direction of the enemy. Looking at the micro-map did show me where to go. Not all systems are the same, so I recommend trying the game immediately…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still holds up well :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuug
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game freezes and crashes all the time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It would be great if it had add on.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A really enjoyable, sometimes challenging strategy game. Wins are satisfying after being thwarted by the enemy. One word of caution: caution! { dork} You will be unpleasantly surprised to find even heavy tank units or Elites, vanish into thin air, if you leave them alone for just a moment too long while the on the defensive. It helps quite often to engage in fighting retreats . I wish there was more content for this game but it's been out now longer than some of you gaming tadpoles I'd…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's like if you took World in Conflict, and mixed it with Blitzkrieg and then took all the strategy out of the mix, it’s just disappointing. It’s like all the ingredients are there but in really just devolves into unit spam (select all units attack) over and over and that’s about it. There are no special ability’s, no retreating for your units, or reinforcing/repairing you damaged units. All the units can do is attack and with units and unit cards so small good luck seeing them. With the games…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Order of War doesn’t require superhuman reflexes, leaving you enough time to plan your strategy, type a message in the text chat window, play about with the “cinematic camera” and so on. It looks like nobody at Wargaming believed in the multiplayer mode, but in the end it is more compelling than the single-player campaigns. All in all, Order of War is an outlet for experienced players and an object of derision for juvenile “hardcore gamers”.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome game, great gameplay, HOWEVER, in almost 10 years there is still no patch to fix the stupid memory error that wont let you get past the 6th level. So unless they fix this DO NOT BUY THIS GAME!!!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As someone who gets overwhelmed by micromanaging to a clock I love that this game has a tactical pause (yes I suck at RTS games but love the genre, the time period, etc..). If you want that WWII fix I highly recommend this game especially at $7.99 or $1.19 on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a surprisingly good game It's not stellar, but it's solid and quite fun the controls are sound and most of all unique The unit roster is good, it isn't bloated or too slim The campaigns are fine, but I'm here to play skirmish id also like so more maps but its fine I'd like some more factions, but eh ' In short, if you like RTS and you like ww2, pick it up
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it used to be a great game but now all it does is crash all the time
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's a good game bring's back memories like world in conflict Order of War is an awesome WWII strategy game, it has decent graphics giving you a better feel for the game. This game puts you in command of the American, Soviet and Nazi German war machines. Its simular to the Company of Heroes series but in a wider scale. Its a real test for your skills in strategy and over all its an awesome game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the only bad thing is the crashes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you can get past the many crashes, this game will probably be the most intense military strategy game you will ever play. I've played it for years and still never reached the end.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't experienced any crashes yet but... I can totally believe even the most recent of reviews. - It's entirely cookie cutter. "Here's an entire platoon of X. Throw them against the Russians and hope you win the slugging match. Don't forget you have other platoons of XYZ. Or stay put ( "on the defensive") and hope you win the slugging match." No real strategy or finesse. Just attrition. Visuals and graphics are ok, but you get lost where you are at very easily. So to "help" they throw you…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Do not buy. Game crashes with "Out of memory" errors because of a memory leak on every singleplayer mission. Skirmish works fine, but there's only 6 maps, so you can do a lot better in a lot of other games for this.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the games ever made
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended! Game has no mechanics except throw all units in a fight and hope for the best. They tried to implemet rock-paper-scissors gameplay style but they failed at it. You just buy new units to replace those you lost 2 seconds ago. Also very bad, almost none storyline, just go there and capture that point and defeat the counterattack.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's good game. Wish there's more campaign and skirmish missions.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A great game in every way. The scenes are vast and offer different countless way to crush your foes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Динамично и не глупо. Классический wargame
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →best of the best!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I Initially got this thinking it would be World in Conflict but in WW2. Which in some ways it is, but in a lot of ways its missing certain elements that made that game fun. Worth it for a dollar (I paid full price back in the day for it. Railed some Adderall and had some fun). Check it out.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun, old school strategy game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Order of war delivers rapid, division-level strategic combat with fast-paced logistics and gritty, realistic combat. The player is forced to accept heavy casualties while continuously requesting reinforcements and supporting fire. Unit choices and combined arms support are crucial to the success of every engagement. Focusing too heavily on any single unit type will always lead to failure because there are so many ways to counter every unit type. Order of War has been around for over a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was crashing in the first mission. Seems like a cool game but unless you want to jump through hoops to play i wouldn't bother. At least it was only a buck and some change. guess its back to Total War.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Order of War is a World War II real-time strategy game developed by Wargaming.net and published by Square Enix that focuses on large-scale battlefield engagements rather than intricate base management. Set during the pivotal summer of 1944, the game presents two primary campaigns: one following American forces pushing through Western Europe after D-Day, and another centered on German troops fighting on the Eastern Front during Operation Bagration. By framing its missions within these historical…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game was simple, wait for resource spawn unit hold the point and fight off enemy. The only problem was that borderless mode are very buggy and you can't open other tabs in fullscreen mode. Overall it's good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good low brain power fun sending massive waves of tanks and infantry into battle. No micro required.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the best game but they should add USSR company
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game but crashes with windows 10. DO NOT BUY
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →one of the best WW2 RTS ive played next to OFFiCERS, although it suffers from crashes in some of the missions which is irritating
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Steel Divisions Ancestor
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →good game if you like war games there is glitches some time but yea it is a relly good game and you shouled get it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you own either company of heroes you're better off playing them.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →although got some bug, but the graphics is very nice. so far this is i seen most beatiful WW II RTS game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fine game IF it worked. It doesn't. It hangs, crashes and screws up constantly. Not even CONSIDERING the massive insult of having 'American' troops winning Canadian and British battles, the sheer unplayability is enough to not recommend it enough.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →perfect, a diamond
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really like this game; it's excellent, but I hope it gets further development, and, this game suffers greatly from a memory leak bug, which results in the game crashing after every mission or even during long missions (especially when interrupted by video clips), Hopefully, it will be improved to the best.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mediocre wargame. Squad movement is weird. They don't use a cover. Playing this after Man of War just feels wrong. But funny to see the WG logo on anything other than WoT.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty decent graphics considering its date of release, but is not very compatible with my 5060 laptop with windows 10, crashes randomly.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →classic RTS game does take a bit of tactics but other than that ,, great classsic RTS..
