60 of 137 · most liked firstI remember having spent hundreds of hours just with the demo of this game back in 2007 when my internet was still piss poor and somehow found mad tracks on a compact disk. There were only 3 tracks: Training Day, Foosball and Fast Food Sending rockets to my opponents while they are taking a speed bump and getting them off the track on Training Day was my speciality, Foosball was Rocket League but even nastier and funnier, and I think I probably found some hidden shortcuts in Fast Food. The game…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now that's a surprise release! I enjoyed Mad Tracks quiet alot on the 360 back in the day and also playing it via backwards-compatibilty on the Xbox One. A silly Fun-Racer that provides races and minigames that can get really chaotic at times which makes them even better. You have three types of cars (slow, fast, sports) and three difficulties to chose from some choices make levels harder others make them more easy. The game offers an adventure mode, which unlocks new levels, as well as an…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I won't pretend the game is good, because it is not. What I will say though is that Mad Tracks holds a very special place in my heart because I played a ton of it as a kid even on a German copy. I didn't understand a single word but that did not keep me from spending absurd amounts of time playing it. I even sent the developers an email once thanking them for the game and begging them to make a sequel. The dev studio was probably no more by the time I sent it but I did not care. It was like…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →+ VERY creative challenges + arcade-ish physics gets the job done + surprisingly challenging AI + lots of fun in local multiplayer - single player campaign can be completed in three hours - music is forgettable and graphics looks meh
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Getting an error while starting game for the first time was obviously a bad sign. Nothing more but a prototype for some mini racing game. It's nothing like Micromachines. Controls are clunky. Textures are low quality and you have to release accel button regularly - don't ask why. Tracks are bad... Overall not worth your time.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →There are *many* play modes, like table soccer with cars, pool, throwing stuff of a table, etc., but they are novelty gimicks - after scoring first place, I have zero interest in returning to them. What has replay potential, are actual races. Problem is, the game is unfair and has a couple of really annoying effects - first is 'bullet time' at random moments, which completely throws off steering - if you are doing a difficult turn with a jump, you quite likely will go off track. And here's the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TIL back in 2020, Mad Tracks got a "proper" digital re-release modernizing the game for contemporary PCs, nice! I'm trying my best to give similar treatment to other racing games, so always great to see another old game revived.
unlabelledView post →Apparently this game dates back to 2000's , and it certainly feels like it. The game balance is wack. When racing against bots, being in first place doesn't have the same "Blue shell" risk to it and there's no rubber-banding, so if you get far enough ahead, there's almost nothing they can do to stop you. On top of that you can stack items until you have 10 shields and nothing can touch you. The non-race single-player missions have their good moments, but most of them are pretty simple and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you grew up playing Micro Machines, this toy-car racer brings back some major nostalgia. The tracks and minigames are pretty fun, and pulling back your car to charge it up is a neat mechanic. That said, the physics feel super floaty, which can make steering a total nightmare at times. It’s a blast for a quick couch co-op session with friends, but the single-player gets boring pretty quickly.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game, lots of fun. I have almost beaten Adventure mode with all 1st's. Few challenges are a bit difficult but I will try to complete them as well. Do you offer friends as DLC to play with? :) On a more serious note, release the OST as a DLC guys. :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I felt the FEAR downloading this, especially at less than a buck, but... no I am absolutely delighted! As awesome as ever!!! This classic 3D Micro-Machines rival still plays superbly to this day and is as fulfilling as every fibre in my being remembers it. I am so excite! If you dont know, this is a 3D racer using the tiny cars you brummed around in your hands as a 5-year-old, set on domestic scenarios your 5-year-old hands were actually using; tabletops, kitchen lino... you get the drift.…

unlabelledView post →I loved this game as a child. Unfortunately this version doesn't work (I'm usuing Windows 10) and despite the reported problems the developers aren't doing anything about it (the game itself runs, but doesn't save progress, so you start from the beginning every time).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Advertised as "100% party games", but it appears that almost all content is locked behind single player progression. We played for 10 minutes, and ran out of things to do (and, admittedly, the players were also getting bored after about that much playing, maybe different game modes / maps would have spiced things up, we'll never know).
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good old fun that still feels pretty cool today. However it really is quite bad to not have a LAN option available (like bruh, online and servers are one thing, but LAN wouldn't require those as one player could be the host over local/hamachi). Remote play is a bit iffy. Overall, might be better to dig up the original CD which had LAN available instead of rebuying it here where you can't even play with your friends in big 2026. Devs plz, that's quite a big disappointment.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hi I'm live!! I've got a funny lil toy car racing game I found for a dollar the other day called Mad Tracks, let's check it out together! #stream #twitch www.twitch.tv/flutterbug

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →how are people getting lost in the maps? sounds like a skill issue. fast paced arcade racer with slightly unique mechanics.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i remember playing this on my good ol' white xbox 360 oh my lord the nostalgia is killing me that and also this game is super solid; what are you waiting for, get it now dummy EDIT: yeah this game was as good as i remembered, albeit a little short solid 8/10 babyy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →can't remember if it was added to a gaming magazine or cereal those 20 something years ago, but yeah nostalgia
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Honestly, for a game 20 years old, it's incredibly good and enjoyable. Kind of a precursor to Rocket League, kind of a mario cart, great party game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Goated childhood game, the diversity in game modes is still insane years later
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun game with numerous different minigames and races to play with your friends over splitscreen. Wouldn't really consider it worth it for 10 bucks, but if you manage to get it on a discount, it'll be a fun game to test out and compete with your friends on these silly minigames.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Replayed childhood racing game, Mad Tracks, and actually managed to 100% it this time. Way jankier than I remembered, physics are really whack, I kept ragdolling very easily. Also Flashlight power up is awful, my eyes still hurt.
unlabelledView post →The game so good that I bought it again even though I have the CD version. I'd suck for remaster or Mad Tracks 2. GOAT
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As soon as the menu song kicked in I was thrown back to my childhood. So many nice memories.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is awesome. Great for speedrunning :D I really reccomand it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No steering wheel support
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not really worth the full price, but if it's on sale and you have people to play couch co-op with or remote play that are also willing to put up with 2006 jank it's a pretty good time. I'm also biased because i'm part of team "I played this as a kid!". This far I didn't experience any crashes or lags, so i can't complain about performance. I would compare it more to mario party but with cars and items. Roughly half the game is minigames that aren't related to racing (billard, football,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not recommended - the part about "fun & frustration free" is false I'm sure it is fun to run slower than the CPU opponents for no reason have much longer recovery time (like 1 second instead of 5) when they spin. You spin for no reason in this game. The physics are flawed and make no sense. A steep turn in place is no problem while driving straight in another one makes you spin uncontrollably. Winning is pure RNG in this game in this game and by RNG I mean you are going to lose 90 % of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Read the positive reviews, they're all positive due to nostalgia and they say as much right in the reviews. This game is awful. What if the only items in mario kart were green shells, and the occasional banana and that's all? That's basically how this game works. Nothing about it really feels good. You can easily get spun around if someone hits you, and if that happens it takes way to long to reverse yourself back to the right direction. Or on the ice level you literally cant get enough…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is great, but if there was multiplayer I would play it every day!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gonna make a post on Mad Tracks too, this game is also cool as hell
unlabelledView post →Very underappreciated kart racer. Shame that LAN play got cut in this rerelease
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the nostalgia i got from this game is something else i remember loving this game like 10 years ago, so glad i found it after those years
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got a copy of this game 15 years ago in a copy of a polish magazine I got when i was a kid. It was my jam, I loved the game, but then many years passed and i still thought about it but i couldn't find it. About an afternoon of searching, though, and I finally bloody found it! Very fun racing game with many unique gamemodes, from time trials, races with mario party powerups, and others! definitely a budget release from the early 2000s, so only get if you want the nostalgia, or dont mind…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute classic, i prob played at least 50 hours of this on my really old PC as that's basically all it ran, car models are changed (atleast from the version i played) and some features are missing, there are some issues this version has as well. But still, good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun nostalgic game i used to play on the wii
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/j1YxwoZVm2A Mad Tracks is a micro machines racing game from 2006, and it plays like one. Graphics are rough, difficulty settings are whack, mechanics are not fleshed out. HOWEVER, with all that said, it's a pretty fun party game (especially for solo play). Besides traditional racing, there's time trials, elimation, control point, hill climb, collectathon, soccer, foosball, billiards, and a ton others. It keeps the variety up for basically every event. Yes, some are just bad.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →definitely the game of all time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is actually fun, would be so much better with online play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I mean, it starts off promising, but this'll be a pass. First the good: the sense of speed is really something in this game. You'll be speeding at whatever the toy sized equivalent is of Mach 10 during the racing parts. It also feels really good when the tires are on the road, giving you plenty of grip to turn on a dime. The game has a lot of potential to is. The music and sounds are pretty good, too. Now the bad: First thing... lemme ask you something: what's the one thing you want to do…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mad Tracks is a free mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a paid game, as a cash grab by greedy mobile devs trying to gouge PC gamers. It's one of a dozen or so "toy car racer" games on Steam, but one of the lower quality ones, with somewhat shallower gameplay to cater to the mobile peasants the game was intended for. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets,…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cars are a bit slow, but still a cool game to have
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →still goated. best game, played it every weekend with my cousins. many fun modes, controls feel fresh, runs so clean on the steamdeck. 2026 remake anyone??
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →We need a remaster, Beats forza any day
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A wild and crazy racing game with many different game modes to keep you interested and intrigued. It also makes for a great party game. It's relatively easy to pick up and play, especially since there are so many game modes that aren't just pure racing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice oldschool mini machines games
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as fun as I remember Soundtrack slaps hard too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Besides some errors that could be ignored, it works fine. Not everybody will enjoy it equally since it's a game from 2006. You can tell the age of the game from the AI of bots or the level design. None the less I had fun playing. Minigames felt fresh compared to other games I've been playing recently while the normal racing maps have room for time improvements and finding shortcuts.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game. I spent hours playing the free demo on the xbox 360 years ago.
