60 of 191 · most liked firstPros: - nice graphics (night tracks with rain look great) - good track designs (especially the TF2 inspired stuff) - overall cute - controls nicely Cons: - repetetive - small number of powerups - difficulty is wonky - on Normal you don't even have to try to win and you finish 1st, on Hard for the most part it's absolutely unfair - physics are wonky - enemy cars seem to follow whichever route they want, and if you are in the way, you will be pushed aside. Enter first into a turn? they will…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Experienced in non-VR / A love letter to the Playstation Classic "Re-Volt" Pros ✔️ VR and non-VR version available. ✔️ A lot of tracks (roundabout 50 with over 200 overall variations). ✔️ Upgrade system ✔️ Variation in game modes (Rocket League mode, King of the Hill etc. for a nice couch evening with friends). ✔️ Charming art style and presentation. ✔️ You can change camera to your liking (Third person, first person, bird's eye view etc.). ✔️ Racing only mode or with items available. ✔️…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ok so, this game is utterly different from most racing games. It has short races and most of them you can finish approximately in one minute. In the beginning, I didn't see anything wrong with this but, after 5 hours it made me boring. In this game are two types of careers the first one I was playing Classic mode and Type X which, I haven't started. Classic mode has 248 races. The biggest problem is that it only has 25 races. The rest of them are reserved and having night mode. I don't see…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun game. Same as mini motor racing evo except with more features and slightly better graphics.. new cameras. Only thing evo had that would be awesome if was added to this one and expanded upon was a track editor. local multiplayer added now which is good and I'm assuming the online works better I believe this one has cross platform support so that is good I guess. Love that the developer gave this version to owners of evo for free. That earns this game a thumbs up. and just overall its a fun…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've not played a better racing game in VR... It's just pure arcade fun and very addictive. Playing with the joysticks on the Quest 2 works well but grabbing the virtual steering wheel was great. Even playing remote control style is fun. The game is just done right... it's been a long time since I came across an arcade game this good.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →76 / 100 I was a little late to the party with its predecessor, Mini Motor Racing EVO, only playing through in late 2019, but I was quite impressed to see how much more polished Mini Motor Racing X is in comparison. Things like the little tweaks in the controls, super smooth camera/framerates, removal of most hard-stop/bog points on the tracks, new modes expanding the content & improved AI all add up to make 'X' more fun to race. It may be a bit cutesy for some & controls do feel odd/off at…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →[url=https://store.steampowered.com/curator/35178318/]Follow co-op suckers for more co-op reviews! Mini Motor Racing X is the upgraded version of Mini Motor Racing Evo, which I received for free due to having the latter in my library. Now, I'll start with the positive aspects. The game offers two modes, one where you straight up drive and the other one which adds a few items such as mines into play. The fact you can complete the entire game in co-op locally or online is certainly one of the…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game would be fun if it didn't keep switching views on it's own in the middle of a race. There's nothing more frustrating than on the verge of winning a race just for the view to suddenly switch to over head and you become completely disoriented causing you to lose the race.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wheres the track editor... It was definitely the best part of Mini Motor EVO.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It took me about 11 hours to achieve 100% completion. (Multiplayer achievements can be done in a lobby with bots.) Very intuitive controls, great handling, fun visuals and music, and interesting environments. While the game can become a bit repetitive, this is a common trait in most racing games. The only downside I can think of is that the camera resets with every new race. I always had to press 'C' before every race about 6-7 times (depending on the car type), just to have my preferred…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The best car racer of this type. All owners of "Mini Motor Racing Evo" got this updated and improved version free from the Devs. This version has VR support and extra game modes, including a new weaponized version of the racing career as well as a new arcade mode for battles online. Lots of tracks, vehicles, upgrades and skins to unlock. This version now has a choice of first person view, probably better suited for VR though i prefer the original camera view. Also has 2 options of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very good, fun, arcade style racing game. Polished with lots of options. Playing in VR is amazing - being able to view the entire track gives the feeling of actually racing toy or remote control cars. Perfect. Wide variety of types of cars/truck to play, loosely based on real world vehicles - love the look of classic lambo. Handling feels just right for a game like this. Feels solid, and not 'floaty', with just the right amount of grip. For this type of racing game, I think the devs…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Start with Racing then get the Touring car after completing the Standard Championship. You'll cruise to the finish even on Hard. All you have to do is use Nitro off the starting block and the acceleration and handling will take care of the rest. If you don't, the whole pack will body you and you'll get stuck everywhere. It seems like only the leader really gets the bonus Nitro that spawns on the track. I liked the different camera views, I mostly did top down but switched to behind view for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a bloody good time, mate. I'm talking arcade-style racing at its finest, and let me tell you, it's nothing short of sublime. Now, let's talk wheels. From sleek cars to hefty trucks, there's a smorgasbord of options here, all loosely inspired by real-world rides. And can we just pause for a moment to appreciate that classic lambo? It's like eye candy on wheels. But here's the real clincher: the handling. It's spot-on, mate. None of that floaty nonsense here. It's like the developers dove…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's honestly not worth it. even on a sale. I recently played it with my gf and we both agreed that it's too boring and monotonous. also what's up with the ai being much faster than the pc? no matter which car you pick and with nigh perfect nitro consumption, the rubberbanding in this game is quite insane. it's honestly unfortunate considering you can play this in 4 player coop splitscreen but the gameplay is too weak to get players engrossed
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I probably would of enjoyed this when I was 4 years old. As an adult it's to simple, too basic and no challenge. Got it in a bundle thankfully. $30aud is just waaaaay to much for this game. If this was a physical product in a store it would be in a bargain bin by now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's okay, very repetitive. So it does get boring after a couple of hours. God Bless
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I used to play Mini Motor Racing on Android, the best RC game so far.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"4 local players", but only 1 gamepad supported?
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a great game that you can play from any angle. Controls are good, variety is good. With a bigger budget, it would have been the best racing game on steam.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's an okay arcade racing. There are many better though. If it was free I'd say you could give it a try, but it's not worth buying.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mini Motor Racing X pros: //fast game with modern day graphics with easy controls that moves from location A to B to C and so on //good amount of action and special effects cons: //a lot of difficult races //AI uses rubberbanding so that you can never really get ahead in the races //AI can shoulder blocks you //AI opponents can gang up and attack you with powerups //AI can take your powerups if they are infront of you //AI often attacks you with twister powerups that stops your car //some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Saw that I had this in my library and that it was VR, gave it a try and it's a pretty cool racing game, I recommend..!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game with plenty to do and is currently 90% off. What you waiting for?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →IMPORTANT CLAIM READ FIRST !!! : ( i dont recommend the game unless you are a sane man that firstly cared for the eternal life of his soul an believed in allah & his angels & all his messengers & his books & his messengers and became moslim till then i cant guide or recommend you to play or do anything with your life ) nice game <3 Recommended+
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Disappointing. The game is very poorly balanced. You start off with a very underpowered car, trying to grind a few upgrade points against faster opponents. After a few upgrades, you become considerably faster than the opposition and every race is a tedious plod while you lap everyone on the track. It's just not fun. It's also kinda ugly and the audio is incredibly repetitive.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great in VR! - Lots of tracks, although a bit short (im sure can increase the lap total to make it a bit longer) - Lots of view options from outside as if racing RC cars, to cockpit and just behind which I liked because inside you could get motion sick as you are bouncing around and turning lots quickly! - Controls seem good, some issues with virtual steering wheel (the others were good rotate joypad to increase turn rate) learned after awhile. I recall playing it in non-vr awhile back but…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Audience -Casual Gamer Graphics-Beautiful Music-OK Difficulty-Easy Bugs-Nothing encountered Story-There is none Gameplay-Fun but a lil repetitive Game time / Length-Few hours (10 - 20 hours) to 100% Price / Quality-Wait for Sale Overall 8/10 a great lil top down racer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a very fun and relaxing game for casual racing, it relieves a lot of stress.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →wow! what a fun little game. best played off line and in vr!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it for free because being an old Mini Motor Racing Evo owner that got delisted on steam, thanks dev! This is essentially 2nd remake of Mini Motor Racing (still available on google play store and probably apple store). Pros: -Wide range of camera -Easy to learn, hard to master -Somewhat balanced cars that carries from vanilla game -New mechanics of weapons -Includes VR with good GUI -Runs pretty well on pc. Cons: -Ridiculous default level's difficulty (tune down to easy till you get good…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Probably one of the cleanest and best-presented RC racers I've played on PC. Typically, these types of games resemble their counterparts in real life, and they're cheap & trashy. This has so many features I'm not used to seeing in an RC game, and plenty of content including tracks, cars, modes, etc. I don't even recall how I received this game, but I would highly recommend it if you're into kart racers and bite-sized games that you can pick up & put down quickly. I'd buy it again. And, it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am so glad Binary Mills gave this to the owners of the first version. Even though I've not put a lot of time in the game I love this style racer. I just have too many games i've not completed and I'm a lazy old man.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has improved a lot since it was called "Mini Motor Racing EVO" [which has also been removed from Steam, so props to the devs for taking the game down and actually improving it]. It's still not a perfect game, not by a long shot, and some (not all*) of my initial problems with the game have returned in this version. I'll list my issues off quickly, so I can get to giving this game's improvements the credit they deserve: -The corners of some objects (more often I'm noticing this with…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got it for free due to owning Mini Motor Racing EVO (something I last played in 2013!)... thanks for the free upgrade Binary Mill. However good thing it was a free upgrade for us prior owners, as it's 90% rehashed content from the old game. Now offers VR support and adds mode with Mario Kart like weapons. VR mode is nice addition, however I'm, having hard time deciding on which camera is best for me. I really like the top down view, feels like you're at a RC car track, but some tracks have…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A quick heads up for the VR racing enthusiasts. Mini Motor Racing X VR is on a deep sale on Steam www.thelabvideogametv.com Our Game Is Never Over #minimotorracingX #vrgames #steamsummersale #indiegames #thelabvideogametv
unlabelledView post →The VR version of this game is really bad. The cars wobble a lot and causes severe motion sickness. If you are looking for a racing game to play on VR, this is NOT good.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Mini Motor Racing X, developed by The Binary Mill and published by Nextgen Reality Pty Ltd., is a bright and energetic arcade racer that leans fully into accessibility and momentum-driven fun rather than realism or technical complexity. It takes a familiar top-down racing formula and refines it into something smooth, fast, and immediately enjoyable, making it easy for anyone to jump in while still offering enough depth to keep players engaged over time. The game doesn’t try to reinvent the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Watching my rivals waste their nitro -ramming my backdoor- is one reason I keep playing. They can't handle my chubby truck. The game offers some fire beats as well. It is funny how much changing the camera changes the feel of the game. Recommended.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun in VR. The view inside the car made me feel sick though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Grabbed for a buck fitty on sale... can't go wrong for that! Fun game with penny racer-like car design, and RC Pro-Am vibes. And the "arcade" games add so much content... this game basically has Rocket League built into it. And with online co-op, and local/remote play co-op... there is a lot of game here for the current sale price. Runs great on Steam Deck.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really do love this game, the way the cars handle and the amount of content is amazing. I do have one tiny gripe thought that I hope the devs can address. The issue is that the sound effects in some tracks are on a very short loop and the repeat far too often, it makes it very irradiating to the point where on certain tracks i have to mute the volume! Only a small thing though it doesn't stop me playing this great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good in VR but I wish that there were some longer tracks, would be great if they added some.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played a lot of Mr. Suns Hat Box until I ran into a bug that sometimes spawns an invisible wall art the start of some levels. Since the invisible wall is effectively a death sentence for the character, and most of the game is playing with the risk/reward of character building, I'm just done with it. I've also been enjoying Mini Motor Racing X. It's a fantastic port.
unlabelledView post →Brilliant ! This game is like Micro Machines, Super Skidmarks, Rock 'n Roll Racing, Slick 'n Slide, Roadkill AGA, and Iron Man Super Offroad Racing, (Especially when you set the camera angle, to top down view, the most far away from the track.) all wrapped up in one exceptionally fun, and exhilarating action packed arcade racing experience. Some pro's: + Career Mode + Wide selection of stages, tracks, cars, and sceneries + Great visual experience + Weather effects + Nice selection of game…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game to play in VR. Love looking from afar to the car like it's a real miniature. Simple but engaging gameplay too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →pretty much what i was looking for in a vr racing game. a game where you can use the vr controllers to steer. only downside is the steering and the tracks are short. plus side multiple camera angles to choose from.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you loved Rock 'n Roll Racing in the SNES era, you will love this game. Basically everything I would want for a "modern Rock 'n Roll Racing" (well, except the Rock music).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you're looking for a review on this game you've come to the wrong place, but if you're looking for an outstanding pie recipe you've come to the right place. Ingredients: 1. 6 tablespoons unsalted butter 2. 1/2 cup white sugar 3. 1/2 cup brown sugar 4. 1/4 cup water 5. 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon 6. 1 pinch salt 7. 5 apples - peeled, cored and sliced 8. 1 pastry for double-crust pie Directions: 1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). 2. Combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar, water,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/SdMfzZ1_3wk Setup and structure is overall good but the overall handling and physics just don't feel to match the chibi vehicles and levels well enough to make a lasting impression.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the best vr racing game I've played! Also its only $1.49 so its totally worth getting and maybe even buy a copy for a friend if you feel like it 😀
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played with controller & wheel in VR. Ended up using the controller bc the G29 felt too "bulky"? The game is fast and a bit hectic, tracks are short, but the maps look great with a lot of detail, reminds me of Micro Machine racing without things being "micro". Perfomance was great with 120fps on a 1080. There are tons of camaras to choose from, a considerable amount of tracks, over 20 cars and upgrades for them... but the racing gets repetitive after a while. Difficulty seems to be somewhat…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun arcade-style racing. Tracks are short so you can get in and out depending on the time you have available.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a jack of all trades master of none that no one wanted. The regular race mode is bland slow and completely devoid of skill. If you aren't winning your car isn't upgraded enough. Or you are using the wrong car. You doing anything better, you if are driving semi okay. Will have next to no impact until you hit the high levels which unless you are particularly bored, have no other games, or are a kid. Probably won't happen. Some of the tracks are designed well enough even with the boring car…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is very simple fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too many levels, too little tracks, and also too small tracks. This game seems to have small handful of tracks what it rotates around over and over again. Ideal could be to have a unique track to every level or at least some unique changes as the game progresses further. The game physics are odd, the cars feels weird because of the lack of weight and the lack of velocity.. The game feels fun on first couple levels but starts to feel repeative soon after that.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A nearly perfect arcade racer and a remake that more than exceeds the original. I received the game free because I bought the original Mini Motor Racing Evo but I would have happily paid for it. This is arcade racing as it should be. It's a game that combines many classic elements of Super Cars, Super Sprint, Micro Machines, Skidmarks and Ivan Ironman Stewart's Super Off Road Racer but also allows you to race in first person and third person camera views as well as the classic top down view.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loved the original game and I was happy to see the new X version which now adds powerups, weapons, and a nice, welcome selection of different camera options as well- including 1st person and ariel chase cameras. Awesome! On one hand I'm thankful I got this for free since I owned the original but I always feel kinda bad when it's from a small indie dev and the game is actually fun. I would've gladly paid at least an upgrade price but I know how some people are...Either way thank you devs!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You wanna play a racing game ? Run away, it's a straight adaptation from mobile gaming. The menus are terrible, the tracks are so basics your chemistry teacher will make jokes about it, the soundtrack is uninspired and the sounds effects pitiful. Run away. I paid 2€ for it and i feel like i was scammed.
