The goal here is to get the most kills while on a closed circuit track rather than winning a race. A simple make it to the finish line would be too easy. Since you want the most kills, if you're in first place you had best slow down and let the others catch up to you so you can wreck them. However, then you risk them overtaking you and the person in front always has the advantage…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Post Apocalypic Mayhem (PAM for short) was a little surprise for me. I am normally not a fan of any kind of racing/ driving genre of game, and although PAM offers something a little different when compared to GT or NFS games, I still really enjoyed the driving aspect. Granted you won't really be playing PAM for the driving though, it's about blowing up your oponents with the various amounts of weapons and power-ups you pick up on the track as you race. The graphics are really nice, and the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Single Player gets repetitive so fast, while MP is dead. Luckily there's Local Multiplayer.... Oh, nevermind :(
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If Flatout 2 and Re-Volt had a threesome with Twisted Metal and had no money, this is what the baby would look like.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game. race with your friends to kick their butts out Make love not war.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been playing this game back then when i was younger LOVED IT. Still loving it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →In PAM, you are driving a death vehicle on a post apocalyptic track, where you need to kill the most amount of racers, under the given time. I really liked the setting, the music and the vehicles. Most of them have their own characteristics. Also, the controls are pretty easy to play with. However, this is it. The game in single player is getting really boring really fast, the racing aspect is not quite understandable for me, because I can't see why I want to do more laps, if I only win with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Got this a long time ago, still very enjoyable, even though it's incredibly tough to stumble upon anyone in multiplayer so I find myself playing singleplayer. Still very awesome though.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Motorstom but with more deadly cars Racing game that is mostly ok but there're some major flaws behind the gears... General idea is that you pick killing machine of your choice and smash opponents using weapons. Two things are taking into consideration: number of kills and number of laps, combined they give you score. There's no campaign, everything is unlocked from start. Two available modes are: arcade and apocalyptic challenge where you compete for points. Most of time you wanna pick second…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Post Apocalyptic Mayhem is a really nice racing game, but unfortunately the multiplayer is dead. Firstly, I'd start off by mentioning the physics and the graphics: this game was released in 2011 so don't expect mind-blowing graphics, destruction or car response. The races are spiced up with 4 power-ups you can use (boost, shoot & traps). For the races against AI you have adjustable levels of difficulty. As I said in the beginning, multiplayer is usually lacking players. Beware of this matter…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Brutal, but so much fun. I recently just bought this game, and i can't wait to play more of it!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overview Drive a variety of heavily-armed vehicles Clock laps while destroying each other Highest score (kills + laps) wins Gameplay ★★★★☆ Racing Battlers aren't dime a dozen; this is quite the rare gem Takes the thrill of speed to another level by adding combat However, the combat is quite simplistic (either melee or dropping mines) Would be nice to have free-aiming guns with crosshair Would be nice to have vehicle upgrading too Tiny selection of 5 tracks but all of them are unique and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →PAM includes everything that one wants in a racing game. Here, the goal is not to reach the finishing line at first, but the first rank is decided by how many you kill along the way. And when it comes to killing or exploding the opponents vehicles into a big atomic blast, that satisfaction of fire ball and loud booming noise is insurmountable and will stick you to play games for hours. However, more than 60% of game achievements are related to multiplayer mode and having said that, the game is…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Post Apocalyptic Mayhem has to be the most underrated racing games on Steam. My family and I play this game every week, I liked it so much we have a copy on both accounts. I realized I hadn't wrote a review for this awesome game and now I will solve this overdue problem. The handling of the cars is easy enough that when my son was three years old he played this and it quickly became his favorite. There are twelve cars to choose from, seven tracks but the Winter Wasteland is just the first track…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a blast and i return to play it every now and then either as Single Player or as Multiplayer despite it's age. Multiplayer matches are rare but totally worth it when you manage to assemble a couple of drivers for a match. Game is often bundled and sold very cheaply but do not think for a moment that this is some garbage bin game. Game has been designed with thought and this can be seen in the strategical thinking that is required to succeed rather than absolute skill in driving…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's similar to Twisted Metal or Rogue Trip, with some nice vehicle designs, and I have to give props to the developers though for letting players turn off bloom and blur. However with no characters, no story, uninteresting weapons, poor physics, and race-tracks for levels despite there being no point in racing at all (only kill count matters), I just don't see any reason to play this over the classics.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Okay, I just saw this has an unfairly low Metacritic score, so I'm going to say something. I disagree! It's actually really good! Lots of action, many types of cars to choose from, with different weaponry to destroy your enemies. Gosh, it's so much fun causing all the havoc! It's not even my usual genre that I play, but the chaotic nature of these races remind me a bit of the cartoon Wacky Racers, but in a post-apocalyptic environment. Don't be discouraged, it's really fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →While a little floaty at times, the game is a lot of fun to play. A lot of variety between the different vehicles, some challenging and fun maps, and the satisfying visual effects all add up to help make this game a blast. It's a shame it didn't stand the test of time, or get more awareness, because it's so much fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a silly arcade racing game, not really the game for me but I enjoyed playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think PAM gives a simple short & fast paced punch of fun, and though it's not particularly special, if all you're looking for is a simple car combat racer then you'll come back to play this time and time again and it wont leave you disappointed. Highlights Simplicity is rarely a benefit, but this game pulls it off well. It's succinct and straight to the point. Everything fits and makes sense and the controls serve it well. This is a problem as well as a benefit because it may lead to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is developed by these people http://steelmonkeys.com/en And it must be noted that this game actually disappeared for quite some time from Steam Store only to quietly reappear at a later date. The reason for this seems simply to be because the developers disassociated themselves from the Meridian 4 group for a period of time. Even during the absence of this game on the store page, the PAM community was still playing it, with their friends quite frequently. You will also notice that…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It gets old, FAST.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very nice,smooth,and fun game,,got cards too
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I remember when i bought this back in 2011. And god how i loved this game. But the sad thing about this now is: Its almost completely dead online. But if you have friends who own this game already or if you can bring them to buy it. Then you can have much fun with it. I only can recommend the Game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Coming hot off the heels of finally giving Burnout Paradise a go, I was eager for some more silly arcade racing goodness. Post Apocalyptic Mayhem has been collecting dust for quite a while and it looked (from the screenshots) that it would fit the bill perfectly. I really adore the over-the-top and entirely impractical vehicles of destruction; my personal favorite was immediately the school bus. I jumped immediately into the first course and, within 30 seconds, was really disappointed. The…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really enjoy this game. Its pretty basic, drive around shoot other people and try to come in first. But over all its really short, there is not many maps for it, it can get boring pretty quickly. If you can pick it up for under a buck, I say go for it, I paid a bit more for it. I still start it up now and then and go for around or 2, but other than that it doesn't see much action. If a new map pack were released for say 5 bucks and it came with 15 to 20 maps I'd snap it up in a second…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has an amazing menu with the nostalgic tune/music from my childhood.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Been playing this off and on for years. Still fun to re-play again and again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Dead multiplayer game. Servers are completely empty.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Love it. One of the last car wrecking games out there. WHY AREN'T MORE OF THESE MADE ANYMORE, LIKE DESTRUCTION DERBY 2 and TWISTED METAL ( the first one, not the cashgrabs that followed ).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A decent racing-themed car brawler where the aim (in the main game modes) is to blow up opposing racers as many times as possible within a time limit by picking up bonuses from the track which enable you to use one of your three combat abilities, which for multiplayer purposes seem pretty unbalanced between the cars, but for single player interest there is a fair range of different preferences catered for - you have cars (trucks, ice cream vans) whose best weapons are laid like mines ahead of…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →First and foremost I strongly disagree with the metascore, strongly. If I were to describe this game in just one word I'd without a doubt FUNNY. Despite having less tracks than I'd want it is a blast to play with friends, and it's not expensive. I really like how the powerup system was made and it never gets boring to explode other cars. If you like this kind of racing games give it a shot! *If you intend to play it online alone I have to say that you'll have a hard time finding people playing…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of the games I play when I feel like having mindless fun. Post Apocalyptic Mayhem is a racing game, except honestly the racing doesn't matter. What really counts is the level of destruction you cause on the other drivers while racing. The game comes with a variety of cars (ranging from an ice cream truck, police car, and more cynically, a mobile meth lab) that all play differently. Each car gets three weapons, which are activated by finding colored barrels. Gameplay is pretty…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →WHAT A GAME! WHAT OTHER GAME CAN YOU DROP FROZEN LOGS WILE FLIPPING METH! WANT EVERY ONE TO PLAY THIS BEAST!!!!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pink flamingos as a weapon? 10/10 Craziest weapon selection in a computer game ever! This game is not about racing. It's about war! This one was once a small little gem, that was sadly overlooked and suffered from race quitters in it's multiplayer times. The game looks nice with a cool aesthetic and a good driving feeling. On release there were only three maps available which were fun to play. Thank to the devs a free DLC was released adding new content like two new maps and three new cars.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really good, but really short https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juexM8lsYDM
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →GREAT and FUNNY game !!! I love it !!!!!! :))))
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun, but hard to find multiplayer +1 of [-3;+3]
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Picked up this game for very cheap during a Steam sale. Suffice to say it is very bery boring, repetitive, and overly simplistic. I found the gameplay and racing to wear out after a few races. It had no replayability and the vehicles/abilities were uninteresting. I do not recommend getting this, even if it is a dollar.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The entire game summed up in one sentence... "VROOM VROOM! BANG BANG! POW POW!" ~Deafening Giraffes~ 2014
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definitely, Yes.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's not a game. Its the inside of a trash can!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a lot of fun! My kids enjoy it, and so did I. The power-ups and the variety of tracks and cars are pretty good. I do wish that the keyboard commands could be customized, but the keys you can use are not too awkward. Definitely worth $10; I'll check out the DLC, I think it's only like $2.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not sure if I can put up with this nonsense... Notice: Base game now includes the vehicles: Kitty, Nucloid and the Veteran and tracks: Death Area 8, Airplane Cemetery and Abandoned Sawmill. I paid for this and now it is available for you all...
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →NO! A friend liked this game. Don't know why. It is officially in my "DONE WITH" category. And on top of that. It's old now.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's still a fun little game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just tried it a little back when i bought it and just instantly felt like they did all the wrong things for all the wrong reasons. I moved on with my life and im happier now when finally getting this of my chest.... it doesnt count as back-log if the game its crap! #CleanOutYourBacklog
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Prepare to go HAM in PAM. Awesome as hell car combat racer You can freeze cars, drill cars, shoot cars, drop oil slicks, burn cars, and, yes, even attack them with deadly flamigos. However, its not all fun and explosions, as there isn't a lot of "game" to play and trying to find a random multiplayer game is like trying to find a strawberry field in the middle of an apocalyptic desert. With that said, this is a great game to pick-up if you can find it on a good sale...but may not be worth…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like Mario Kart and monster truck shows, you'll like this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really underrated. But I had a fun time playing this game. If you get a couple of friends, its crazy frenzy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was fun for an hour, then I just kept playing to collect the remaining cards. There is something missing in this game. Graphics are ok, but the gameplay is just not satisfying. Front attack, side attack, rear attack... grab the barrels to get ammo. Repeat until you get bored and don't go too fast or you will be ahead by miles and won't score any points (you will lose). Physics are bad, driving is boring and destructing other cars is meaningless and repetitive. Being killed is not even…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A pretty fun MarioKart-style RacingGame with Weapons and Powerups.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This would be one of the better Early Access games on Steam, if it were Early Access. However, the devs somehow seem to think this game is "complete". It's not. The mechanics are there, but there's no real game yet. No goal. The cars really aren't balanced that well, the game mechanics could use a bit of fine tuning (it's really easy to just chain red barrels with a car that has a great rear attack). This game is a good start, but it's not polished enough for me to recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An old game but fun. Even as single player!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well maybe it will be good for grinder player that don`t really care about graphic and how big is the game content. But it not just right for me.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →many years on, i have decided to say yes get this game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people playing this game. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son got this game for Christmas in 2021 from his uncle, so we installed it on his computer and he started playing. By the end of the week he had 24 hours on this game. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching YouTube. So i decided to make a Steam account and get…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pretty fun game for a few hours. Multiplayer is pretty much dead but the Singleplayer campaign where you just race with random Ai is still loads of fun. Get it on sale. 7/10
