45 of 45 · most liked firstThis is a replayable card RPG with a non-linear plot and a very heavy load of choices, because the whole story depends on your choices. There is a lot of variety in it. Each playthrough will give certain nice enhancements that will help with a new playthrough. Therefore, feel free to play it over and over again. At first glance, it may seem boring - but I assure you...it's incredibly cool! I don't know why I only decided to play it now. I love deciding the fate of the main character in the…

That’s not a bad thing; most styles and genres don’t peak with their originators, though they’re often the best poised to reach such heights. It should come as no surprise that rule-by-Tinder-simulator Reigns inspired titles like Little Dungeon Stories, though the lessons taken from that auspicious source might surprise you. Despite the name,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has a number of advantages that distinguish it from others, namely: 1) It is a mixture of 2 genres - card game and roguelike, which are rarely found on the Steam store; 2) The game has a large number of different game items, monsters with which you have to fight; 3) Unlockable content - as far as possible, you can unlock new classes of heroes, new locations. Of course, these are not all the advantages, there are many others in it, including musical accompaniment. I think the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reigns-style dungeons. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2826564083 STORY Missing. GAMEPLAY The gameplay is a turn-based card game. There are four hero parameters, a small inventory and randomly generated dungeons. The essence of the game is that none of the four main stats fall to zero. If this happens, the game will end. Dungeons are filled with random events that must be resolved in the style of Reigns - move the map in one direction or another (which will give…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cool game, brightened up my evening) I recommend it to those who are tired of standard projects and want to have fun with something new. Convenient and beautiful menu, the simplicity of the gameplay pleases ... There is a balance in the game, which is very pleasing, thanks! The developer has clearly tried on his product, the game is worth its money. The game has a system of achievements, which is very pleasing)) Here is such a short "reviewer", if I may call it that. Good luck, I'm waiting for…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have not played extensively but want to give some initial feedback as the game has few reviews right now. I was looking forward to this coming out because it looked like something I could play for those times when I don't feel like doing something brain-intensive. Some games are fun but can still feel like homework. I wanted something to fit along nicely with listening to some music or an audio book. And yet that was a notch above tetris or minesweeper as far as the level of involvement it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well, I didn't actually receive this game for free, I received it as a compensation when developer failed to complete his other game, Medieval Shopkeeper Simulator. Good, now I have two abandoned and broken games in my steam library instead of one... Last update for Little Dungeon Stories was more than a year ago, it added freezing mechanics which... I don't know how it works since it triggers for no apparent reason and shows "Poisoned" in a tooltip. And dedicated Antifreeze potion does not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very 'meh'. The game consists of max 150 swipes just like tinder, but with RPG options. I got to 80 in my first run, 120 in my 2nd, and completed the 150 in my third. That means the game is finished, the end? Way to small for the asking price, my playtime is 57 minutes. Thats less than 1 hour of conent with little to no replay value (you get the same stuff over and over again). It does have potention, but needs to be at least 3 times as big. 5/10, would not recommend.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great little game to pass the time. I wish combat was clearer - it's tough to understand if you won a fight or lost, or what the consequences are. This makes it difficult to decide whether to engage in a monster fight or not, since I'm unclear on the outcome. Other than this, I'm finding the game to be very fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a terrible attempt at simplifying a "choose your own adventure" game. The game itself boils down to "how long can you survive until you inevitably get crippled by an unfair "choice," or luck based situation, and inevitably die." The gameplay is bland and boring, and it doesn't get much worse than that.

Your story in Little Dungeon Stories begins with a swipe to the left or right. You will then need to choose one of the four Spirit Traits on offer to you. These traits will give you a bonus of some sorts, Strength, Humanity, Itelligence, Charisma, Luck, Defence, Keys etcetera. After which you’ll unlock a card or two in this level, these cards will appear in future…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At heart, it's a shallow Choose Your Own Adventure game, where the only way to really get an idea of the outcome of your actions is to have already discovered those outcomes in the past. Beyond that, it's basically what happens if you combine a "Hardcore" Platformer with an RPG- that is to say, you're playing a generic offering made special only due to your spending the entire time fighting the game's extremely subpar interface. Putting aside the other many interface issues, the swipe…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game and concept is great but really feel empty after few try you can feel that there is not much cards you keep seeing same items and events again and again they really need to put like 10x the cards is already in there so that why i have to say that i cant recommande this game even if the concept is great the life for this game is too short.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starts off with a good concept but far too short and the events are random so sometimes useless events show up. There is also not much variability in the types of events. Character stats are random and unable to be customised except a one-off buff choice at the start. Boss rewards are not unique, just giving you a refill of resources. The game ends at floor 150 (if you get there that far with rng. I've played 7 hours and got there 4 or 5 times) and replayability is limited. I feel a bit…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →👎 Early Access Game. last update made by the developers was over 5 years ago. Game wasn't bad but never going to be finished.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun for 10 minutes until you find out its the same thing over and over 2/10 -cant use keyboard
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm almost at the point of not recommending the game. It's super cool. The concept is fantastic. And besides the tiny issues like poor grammar/language or some lacking logic, it's really an awesome game. The only thing that really bugs me is that TONS of events/cards/equipment have effects that you are never warned about. You will see a good looking event, and go for the option that gives you resources, but then get completely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ elsewhere, without knowing that it would happen. Even…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not worth 8 $ its like 2 seconds of content. You die alot for Stupid Reasons, and you cant really control the game. played like 10 games in a row.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple and fun. It's like Reigns, but fits the core mechanics much more appropriately. Instead of balancing stats and pretending you're making choices in a story, you're trying to survive in a dungeon crawl from event to event. So you don't get the Paradox-like stories, but you feel like what you're doing makes sense. Unless the card pool increases you'll see all the situations and achievements in a couple of days. Not necessarily a bad thing, it's a simple roguelike so it will still last a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's the same things in every run over and over. maby make some more choices or something. it's like they didn't finnish the game. same enemies, same weapons/shields. No power ups to pick up on the way or any neat feature, it's a lame game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you really liked "Reigns", then you will be probably intrested in this game too. Ok, so there isn't mutch to talk about here to be honest. It's a game where you make decisions using cards by swiping them in different directions. So, what is different? A bunch of stuff acually, mostly involving gameplay + Instead of just maintaining 4 basic stats, you have a wide variety of items and stats that you can level up/use during your gameplay. This will also unlock some options depending on your…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nice and fun card game. The nice visuals and general atmosphere keeps you engaged.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's cute, and fun. Amusing. If I'm honest, a lot of the time, I'm not really 100% sure on what I'm doing, but it doesn't really bother me. I'm enjoying myself and I guess that's all that matters.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very interesting game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Starting off the game was great lots of early deaths figuring out the game but then all of a sudden i had a good run going and BAM!!! the game just ended saying i beat it after beating like the 3rd boss. I know there are optional bosses too but now I have no interest. One last thing, why with the cursed gauntlets? they are the definition of a ♥♥♥♥ blocker.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great quick fire dungeon crawler game, well designed and thought needed. Well addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I haven't dived much into the game but its something like Reigns meets Alluris
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Little Dungeon Stories is a charming yet challenging card-based roguelike that transforms the familiar concept of dungeon exploration into a strategic adventure built around choices, resource management, and unpredictable encounters. Developed by David Moralejo Sánchez and published by GrabTheGames, the game embraces a minimalist approach to fantasy role-playing, replacing traditional movement and action-heavy combat with an interactive card system. Its straightforward presentation makes it…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I would recommend this game except that it won't boot on my desktop. I can play it on my laptop - but for some reason, when I try to boot on desktop, it immediately crashes. I've tried verifying integrity of games files and reinstalling to no avail. Hopefully the patch it, at which point I'd change my review.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is a lot of fun, and has a ton of potential. There are a couple areas that are a little bland, but overall the game is great and I recommend it highly!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lost on Steam EP. 36 This is one of the 3 featured games in the weekly Sunday show. An unboxing for video games! You can watch the highlights of this game and the two others featured this week here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s_CboVqmXXQ [Thoughts and First Impressions] This game has a lot of POTENTIAL. Right now it feels super rough around the edges with a lot of the concepts that the game uses going rather unexplained. For instance, when you move through the dungeon and get hit…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a fun little game that's mostly RNG. The interface is really slick, and each play doesn't take very long. I will waste more time with this...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Imagine being so many roguelikes, RPGs and dungeon crawlers, and you decide to play a dating app swipe left or right version of the game genre. It's not bad, but there's no real reason to play this instead of any other game with the same tags.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is so dull. Very boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →lots of fun! I just wish it were on iOS
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, short, fun little game to help pass the time. Swipe for choices to determine your fate.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Little Dungeon Stories successfully combines elements from beloved adventure, combat, and RPG games into a charming pixel-art roguelike card-based experience. Its graphics, while generally good, could benefit from some additional polish. The user-friendliness is a major strength, allowing players to quickly grasp the game's mechanics. Storytelling is greatly integrated into gameplay to create a stronger narrative connection. The music stands out as a high point, enhancing the overall…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought this game with a lot of recommendations and didnt have big waitings of this game. Finally, for this lightweight small game it is rather good. I didnt play card RPG games a lot before, but this one was not hard to understand how to play and what to do. Gameplay is so simple - that's great! So I quickly plunged into the game and played it non stop , not noticing the time. So cozy, comfortable and VIBE & CHILL atmosphere, this calm gameplay let me have a real relax after hard day. Graphic:…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good card game, similar to a roguelike. Pleasant non-eye-catching graphics and simple gameplay. I think I've seen something similar in the App Store. Enough for a couple of days. I recommend it if you need to kill time for a couple of evenings
