55 of 55 · most liked firstA visual novel with branching paths that has more nuances than I expected. I don't want to say too much, but essentially everyone has a goal, and they need other characters to play along to achieve it, so it has a big emphasis on trust in the dialogue (reminds me of Fate a little). I tend to stay away from this genre because of all the anime shovelware, but just looking at the trailer, I could tell it looked unique, and I found the atmosphere very infectious. You can complete one path in about…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have to give this game a thumbs down. Some other reviewers have talked about the history of the game, or the studio, but honestly I don’t know or care about any of that. My review is solely based on price. Is this game worth $10, and is it comparable to other games at the same price? The answer is a resounding no. Positives: + The premise of the story was interesting. + I guess there weren’t any bugs or glitches. + I liked being asked questions at the beginning which determines which…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hmmmm I must say with all the very positive reviews, I was hoping for an enjoyable read. And dont get me wrong, the story is very well written, the art is interesting, the music fitting to the dark theme that runs through out. That said, nothing on the store page here prepared me for how Dark this story line is. All i can say without spoilering anything, is that if you like to be a nice person, you wont be happy with the story as it unfolds. Theres nothing here but a final end for nice…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Even if we set aside the railroaded scenes where both options are actually one and the same, it is beyond argument that the binary choice is extremely restrictive for such kind of story: I brought the killer to the seventh day in a way I deemed acceptable, but during the concluding scene the game forced the interpretation that is directly opposite to my own onto the character's actions. Feels bad, you know. "7Days Origins" is not a bad game per se, but I can't recommend it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The artstyle and design are very good, the music fitting and the story interesting. It's not that it wasn't an enjoyable game but I simply can't reccomend it. As a VN sort of game, having basically no saves (besides saving at the start of each day, there's none, or well there is, but they simply don't work), and not allowing to skip dialogue until a choice must be made, really makes it hard to replay the game. For example, I tried to save in the middle of the last day, but then when I tried to…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A few bugs that are really annoying: 1) The main character's thought box shows up immediately after the newest message in the conversation, meaning you don't even have the chance to read it because the huge box covers almost everything. 2) Ellipsis display can't be skipped and it is excruciatingly slow compares to the rest of the text 3) If you left-click, instead of showing the rest of the currently displaying text, the game just skips it and shows the next one instead. Not a big problem for…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →You have died, Death has given you, and people around you an assignement to do. How far will you all go for a second chance? Pros : - Very well written visual novel - Puts you in a tough spot, forcing you to make difficult decisions - Interesting and intuitive instant messaging format - Immersion is definitely there - Will hit you right in the feels Cons : - Game's a little short, 45 mins/1 hour for an ending - The art is a little hidden away, small and mostly behind HUD - Could use a little…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really liked that game but it still needs to be more developed. For example:The saving method is actually so bad that makes me confused which one I saved last and additionally, after pressing the save button,it needs some pop up or some saving effect but even with this form,it is still playable and good. Edit: they fixed that issue, thank you so much <3 ( but we want steam cards too )
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Amazing and literally all what I've been waiting for! For a while I never thought Buff Studio would really adapt 7Days for PC, but here we are, enjoying this amazing game on HD on Steam. I still plan on finishing the entire game and reliving every path on the game. The new art is AMAZING and never fails to amaze me. Gosh, I really missed seeing Kirell on the original artstyle. I can't wait to see what more new things I can find! I really hope with 7Days on Steam, the game grow on popularity.…

Maybe not all of them, but most of them. Since it's not explained well (or at all), just aim to unlock everything I suppose. P.S. I would love to read a book with the same theme as this game. Anyone got suggestions?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun and original game with likeable characters.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was kind of dissapointing, but it's fine overall, just don't buy it without the discount.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →By some freak coincidence, my initial and natural set of choices - after dying twice, mind - led me to a very satisfying ending, and while there are still some open questions for me, I'm going to count this experience as "complete". And here's what I think. While this is a visual novel - you don't do anything in this game except reading and choosing between binary options - it feels incredibly responsive and "alive". Probably because you can choose a dialogue option pretty much every 30…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really amazing piece of art, do not undermine it's simple nature. This game makes you think you know whats going on, then proceeds to shatter your expectations. It takes story telling to another level, truly taking you in a journey of wits. Every single choice you make impacts your outcome, everything you think you know, is wrong. Especially on your second play through. Don't bother restarting because you messed up your choice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Has the feel of an ambitious fandom game. This is not a bad thing.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game has good cover art.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It is an amazing game! I bought it on my phone some years ago and was so excited! I spend hours on it and it was well worth.I am so glad that they brought it on steam. The game has pretty good story, a lot of replayability, nice art and sounds. I love the decision tree.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →definitely the nostalgia speaking... considering i first played this back in 2018 when it came out on mobile... but i did end up liking this game! and the pc version is hell of an improvement too! better art and UI. it's nothing special per se, and as far as choice-based visual novels go, this one doesn't bring new things to the table. in fact, it suffers from common issues of such games: sometimes choices do not matter in the grand scheme of things, the endings feel abrupt, uniform and are…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i originally played 7days back in its 2018 mobile release, when it was completely free. it took a very long time to unlock every path and ending, but the story was worth it. it’s a pretty good experimental game, presented in a text-based, chat screen style that feels simple yet immersive. the story is amazing—maybe not the best out there, but the way it’s told is perfectly aligned. everything connects naturally, and nothing feels out of place. especially if you take the time to read the short…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →7Days Origins is a compact but emotionally charged narrative adventure that blends visual-novel storytelling with a branching, choice-driven structure. Developed and published by Buff Studio, the game places you in the role of Kirel, a young man who suddenly awakens without his memories and finds himself drawn into a strange, liminal realm where a group of other lost souls are struggling to understand their situation. A mysterious force informs you that you have seven days to make critical…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I really didn't like the game. Story was quite boring and the branching storylines with no real payoff was also not engaging to complete multiple runs but I still did it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The mistery and the story were just so captivating! I absolutely loved every minute of it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I only did one run and liked it, i really enjoyed the story and characters, the presentation and style is very good, but the ending? Oof. A single picture with a few vague lines of text and you get kicked back to the title screen, that REALLY sucked and hurt my enjoyment of the game a bit.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This review is specially made for those who like to get all the achievements in games. Some gameplay spoilers ahead. Description: 7Days Origins is a cartoonish Horror Visual Novel with a protagonist whose choices will influence the progression of the story and the level of affection or hatred the other character will have towards her. I won’t spoil the story but I can say that it was better than I was expecting: each character you encounter has a distinct personality, things and attitudes…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very interesting....
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked this game. I found it emotional and dark but strangely heartwarming. It's 2.0 hours of exciting, heart-pounding drama in the route I played. I wouldn't want to play it again; I thought it had the perfect ending in the route I tried. There is also nice art, gameplay, writing, and story. It also has choices that make a difference. It was the perfect length for the story in my opinion.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It was in my periphery for awhile now. Just was more invested in other things for awhile. It's a nice game. Like the art style. Curious to see the routes
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥... first time playing visual novel and DAAMN the story was good and the character design omg.... tho the choise that i've made.... i feel sad
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good story and characters but it needs needs to be way more fleshed out, especially when it comes to the endings. It's interesting to see each character and their motivations play out, but by the end it feels like nothing really mattered. It's not meant to be super long but parts of it can make you think what you would do in each situation, the immersion is not bad. 7 days feels like 7 seconds when I think about this game after going through all the routes.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game long ago on my phone, now that i'm older it still feels catchy, the story is just to great and the different paths you can follow even tough you only have 2 decisions at a time the game manages to branch in so many ways, making the story to be replayable. also teh characters are great too. there is another game about argo but its not on steam sadly. definetly a must play in your life even if you dont really like choice games, the story is just amazing
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Interesting story and cool art. Each playthrough is relatively short and gradually builds up to give you a full picture of events. I found the characters compelling.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a visual novel with a branching story, that is the definition of a “choices matter” game. If you're looking for a good story, interesting characters and a game where every choice shapes your path differently, this will be right down your alley. PROS +++ Pretty original story that is uncovered little by little and in a non-linear way, depending on your choices +++ Unique characters with interesting background stories +++ Lively dialogue with lots of options to choose from +++ Lots of…

unlabelledView post →Only play this game if you don't mind your saves not being there! The auto saves also take you back to the exact same point in the game no matter what time it says it auto saved! It's apparently bugged and the devs aren't fixing it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really cool Concept for a game, and for 3€ currently an absolute steal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →To be honest I played this on mobile, I like it but nothing really special besides one ending.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was silly! a waste of time!
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lovely, but somber adventure. The premise is very unique, i never quite seen something like it. The art, music and writing were all on point and seem incredibly fitting for the atmosphere. It's one of those rides that i'm sad i'll never experience again, but i'll hold dear to my heart. That being said, there are some slight grievances. I don't understand saving, either i'm really dumb or it's not working properly. Every time i try loading a save it just boots me back to the moment i quit,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't recommend this messenger-based visual novel because it's afraid to be serious. The author had the opportunity to create an interesting story with extraordinary characters, betrayals, and thought-provoking elements. Unfortunately, the author chose to create an overly predictable story with common characters, making it easy to distinguish between the good and the bad and foresee the outcomes. Very sad because the beginning was promising, thanks to the concept of the world.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I like the game generally but Turkish translation has some problems and needs to improve.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A worthwhile experience
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was great. 7 Days Origins is a narrative treasure, using only basic gameplay mechanics, but an interesting premise to weave a captivating mystery story that can be completed (at least one of many timelines) in about as much time as it takes to watch a movie -- all the while being as entertaining and thought-provoking as some of the best mystery movies have been. I am not sure yet if I am going to replay to try and achieve a different ending, because honestly I am really satisfied with the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is great, but there are a lot of bugs related to saving and loading. None of the autosaves seem to work right, and any time you start the chapter again (eg, you die) the character relationship statuses are not saved, which has resulted in completely different dialogue even with exactly the same choices. That being said, I really like the plot and characters, and the gameplay itself is solid. I especially like the little inconsequential dialogue options. Everyone else seems to think…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is so great I love the story and enjoyed every minute of playing it I highly recommend it if you like to play visual novels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Liked the phone game and was pleased to see it coming to steam. Is a nice experience on PC too with a few extras.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A very compelling visual novel, even with how the UI seems barren at first. Yet the storytelling holds steady, and the music playing makes the choices more vital as things unfold before the main character. Mainly weary and gloomy, in a good post-apocalyptic way. Having dialogue presented in a texting format, can make one feel close yet so far to each character encountered. From having the text delay between conversations, forming either comfort or understanding between one another, to building…
