I've just spent the evening with my friends on this game, thanks to steam remote play we can play altogether remotely. Really a cute game, made me really happy which is something we need right now :)
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Now that was a perfect hidden gem for me that definitely deserves more attention. Played the story together with my 6-year-old and had a ton of fun. The difficulty was perfect for him for the most part and if a section was too hard you always have the option to grab your co-op partner and carry him. Also you can do a lot of silly stuff like stacking trampolines which caused a lot of laughter. Besides that Pile Up is also challenging enough by having a lot of collectibles and a speedrun…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →They made all that cardboard really cute! I didn't know that there is collectibles: I wanted to go to the next puzzle mostly because I was chasing it instead of helping my friend resolve the puzzle. Funny with snappy mouvements, good times.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a great game to play with your kids
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a cute lil game. If you have kids/want to feel like a kid again with simpler puzzles? This one is pretty enjoyable for a few hours. Okay. Not all puzzles are simple... XD I also have to point out that while you can play with two people... Or by yourself... Three or four makes it better -> Especially because of the Mini-Games... They are optional, but for extra fun you can compete/team up together. Otherwise it's cute and lots of stuff/Achievements for you to get/discover. Woop…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm friends with one of the devs so I'm pretty biased, but I'd just like to say that I love this game. I play it with my girlfriend and it's just a great game to play with others.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very enjoyable game to spend time with friends!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →"Pile Up! Box by Box" is a handheld (Nintendo Switch)/console game that's also been put on Steam as a bit of an afterthought, as it's very much designed for the handheld/console gaming audience. And this Switch port was done so badly I feel like it was a deliberate insult to PC gamers everywhere... this is bad, real bad. It's a "party game", a co-op puzzle/platformer/arcade/party experience where up to 4 players (spoiler: There are no players) arrange themselves and cardboard boxes through…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Had a lot of fun 4-player local cooping this with a group of mixed skill and experience. We unintentionally made it a lot harder on ourselves. The game loaded without shadows which made depth perception platforming *much* more difficult. We couldn't find a shadows setting in graphics options so we thought it was intentional. Came back to leave a positive review and all the store pages screenshots had shadows. re-launched it to double check. and there were shadows! should make the next…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Can't recommend buying this game if you aren't planning to play it with a controller. Keyboard controls are WASD for movement and UIO for actions, which may not be too bad for some, but this game has no way to change controls, and with no plans to add a feature like this (which is very basic in almost all games nowadays) I'm not seeing myself get any enjoyment out of this game, and as such will be refunding it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fantastic game to play with your kids. You can even carry them around if they're too young ^.^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Overall feeling Very enjoyable! Pile Up is the kind of game that makes you laugh at your own mistakes. Although it is full of subtle humor, it's really the accidents and unintentional bumping into each other that make the salt of the game. Difficulty The puzzles are clever, with a gentle but perceptible ramp on difficulty throughout the game. They are constructed from a limited set of box types that combine into very creative variations. Likewise, the set of available moves for players is…

unlabelledView post →Fun game, but with a caveat: it is impossible to 100% the game due to a glitch on the last level (Feather Theatre). The moving platforms move THROUGH the obstacles placed in their way as part of the puzzle, so one of the objects that is supposed to give you 5 cubes from an otherwise impossible-to-reach location drops down to the ground immediately, which means you can never get those cubes and thus cannot 100% the level. There is no apparent way around this. On the plus side, some of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played with a bunch of my adult friends and we all enjoyed this game. Everything is made of cardboard and the puzzles were enjoyable. It is a kids game but you can enjoy trolling your friends while going through the levels.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute family friendly little puzzle
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game for the family!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →*Avis en français plus bas* Played with two boxmates, and so far I can tell that we enjoy it very much ! Pile Up is a wonderful Couch Co-Op game filled with heart-warming elements such as cute characters and a lovely score. Make no mistake tho, as some puzzles are challenging and you will have to act like a true explorer if you want to find all the collectibles and secrets in the world of Pile Up ! But do not worry, this game is accessible and the true difficulty is to ̶c̶o̶-̶o̶p̶ cope with…

unlabelledView post →This game is a perfect family game. As a family of 4, we are always on the lookout for great steam games we can pipe to the TV, grab our controllers and go! Piled Up ticks the boxes for us - only complaint is we wish there were more levels! Just under 5 hrs of game play and we have completed the main 'story', as well as playing the arcade games we have unlocked. Now we will be back to clean up the levels tracking down collectables and opening/completing some of the star areas (bonus spaces…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A puzzle platformer in which you’re a sentient, jumping box journeying through a lovely cardboard world. This game at its core is a very charming little collect-a-thon, tasking you with making your way through different levels by solving simple puzzles and conquering platforming challenges. There are four stages in total, each being rather lengthy and sporting a distinct theme along with unique mechanics. Your most basic interactions are of course jumping and running (or more accurately:…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a fun game to play with your family.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Charming puzzle platformer. It gets easier and easier to break the puzzles the more players you have, but its honestly as fun to break the puzzles in silly ways as it is to do them legitimately. Very underrated co-op
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I play with my nephew and he loves this game, the game is so cute and I really like the art style
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun as game, playing with family, it's great
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Adorable puzzle game, my friend and I really enjoyed exploring and seeking out every collectable. The 'capture the flag' style mini game is a lot of fun too!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very neat, cute and fun 3D platformer. I'm always happy to see games like this (my favorite genre).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pile Up! Box by Box, developed by Seed by Seed and published by HandyGames, is a cooperative 3D puzzle-platformer that embraces simplicity and creativity as its core strengths. Set in a handcrafted world made entirely of cardboard and paper-like materials, it delivers a relaxed, family-friendly experience centered on teamwork, exploration, and playful problem-solving. Rather than focusing on difficulty or technical mastery, it prioritizes accessibility and shared enjoyment, making it…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Extremely short and surprisingly unsatisfying. Also the physics barely worked and could often be cheesed
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →this game needs to be fixed NOW. the controls for keyboard are so bad even deltarune players would freak out, and when i connect ONE controller, it registers as 2. its so bad that im refunding it. unless you buy it directly from xbox/playstation shop, plz dont play this
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played solo. Fairly short with just 4 levels; 5 if you include the hub. But they are challenging solo, especially if you are looking to get everything. Worth the money if you get it on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really fun! Wish it had more secrets though like pathways or things to discover, it's mostly straight forward.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →51: Pile Up: Box by Box A cute game my family found on PS+ and played together. It’s a cute, simple, short little puzzle game about boxes. It could definitely be expanded, and a lot of it could be cheesed, but it was a cute and pleasant time to play with the family!
unlabelledView post →This game was fun. My husband and I love local co-op games and this was a great playing experience. Finding all the collectables was really difficult with no hints given to where the missing ones are.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Really Fun Especially In CoOp!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Lovely family coop game! Played with 6 and 9 year old, puzzle are quite simple, adventure is fun, it was great times.

unlabelledView post →Great balance between approach-ability for all ages and worthwhile challenges. I initially tried this out on PS5 with a young one. This game is great for playing couch co-op with a variety of ages and skill levels. You can literally carry people around. The graphics and story are harmless and cute. It's really neat in that regard. But I'm also a sucker for 3D platforming and collecting. Which Pile Up! Box by Box also offers. So I loaded it up on Steam to go solo and collect some things. It…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, casual game to play with friends without fighting between them. Amazing, although short for its price, but very well polished and designed.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a fun and chill game to play alone or with the family, the graphics are so friendly to the eyes and the concept for each level design was so nice. I only had 1 controller tho and controller is more recommendable for it to use. it does seem like it would be best to play it together with others while having their own controllers too, definitely getting another so my younger cousins and I can enjoy it the fullest.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Enjoyed the game, felt a little short though with only 4 hours playtime. Felt like we barely got into it but enjoyed the time we had on it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A fun relaxing game. Perfect for the whole family! And a good way to relax in the evening.
