The developers didn’t even bother to come up with a leveling system, and almost all the towers have their own wars. The hero is also terribly weak. The plot is strange. The locations for building towers are also poor. I don’t recommend this part of the game.....
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kingdom Rush game where you play as the villain and heroes from previous Kingdom Rush games are your enemies? Amazing. I played a bit and 16 hours flew by like nothing. And the variety of towers is just crazy. Very good tower defense and highly addictive.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kingdom Rush Vengeance doesn't hit the mark First of all the game plays like it is in slow motion, every enemy seems like they are moving through a lake of molasses. Even on the highest difficulty I was only partially paying attention, gone are the intense moments and decisions of Kingdom Rush 1-3. Difficulty - It's not as difficult as the previous 3 games, some of the levels (particularly in the beginning) are just downright boring. Towers - Many to pick from in theory, but these are really…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game on steam to avoid the constant microtransaction but now it felt like every update requires you to buy the update for 1/2 the price of the original content for a fraction of the game. Kingdom is still really good but its not worth paying every update.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just spent half a week playing this. I want to like it but it looks and feels like a dodgy mobile port when: 1. Characters have very cringey repetitive lines that reference pop culture 2. Half the achievements are just clicking on a pop culture reference in a map 3. The preview screen when selecting difficulty does not show the full map or where the spawns/gates are 4. My game can be effectively soft-frozen during a cutscene because something less-than-ideal happened to either my towers or hero…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →first time playing Tower Defense, tried demo for 2.5 hours it has a nice intro, easy UI, keyboard/controller/Steam deck friendly got good balance and progression system, faultless so I happily bought the base game and the Kingdom's Starter Pack bundle thank you Ironhide for making high quality tower defense games <3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This series has saved me from depression like 100 times. god bless all involved with it's creation and development.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →YOU SHALL NOT PASS Mark: 9/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The gameplay is exactly the same as the previous games but the addition of multiple towers & the ability to choose towers before each level makes this game even more fun. And of course the Easter eggs. The only bad thing for me is the prise even on discount its over prise 9/10 i love this series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is good, I am downvoting for a couple of reasons which I find important: 1. Having an ad pop-up every time you boot or return to main menu is crazy. I can understand promoting the new game, but having to dismiss this message EVERY TIME I boot the game or try to exit it (you have to return to Main Menu first, can't Quit directly)... pretty sure this is annoying for anyone and everyone. 2. I dislike the new system of picking which 5 towers I want to use. It's a cler downgrade from…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →TLDR: The best Kingdom Rush yet. Customizable tower loadouts and a modernized UI breathe fresh life into the formula, even if balance issues and a lack of endgame content still hold it back. PROS: ➕New upgrade tree/format ➕New towers that you can pick and equip ➕New UI look and feel ➕Actual settings within the game now ➕Playing as the bad guys is a nice switch CONS: ➖Balance issues - Overpowered/underpowered heroes and towers often create a defined meta ➖Lacks longevity/endgame - no…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Easily the worst game in the franchise. Nothing about this game really works. The towers are either ridiculously good and pretty much make the game a cakewalk, or they're utterly useless and there is no reason why you should use them outside of 100% the game. Exactly like the towers, the heroes are either busted and can carry entire levels by themselves, or worthless and can actively hinder you. Level design is bad as a majority of this game has a massive choke point that you can stall and…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game keeps getting worse and more greedy with each new version.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Play Revengence, best way to play the game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another chapter? Yes. You finally choose what you bring. Kingdom Rush always handed you four towers and asked how well you could play them. Vengeance hands you a roster and asks who you are before the first wave starts. The decision moved out of the level and into the loadout, and everything downstream changed with it. Playing as Vez'nan isn't a costume, either. The maps you defended for three games belong to the enemy now, and the joke works because you're the one who taught them to fortify.…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is good, i had fun. Maybe a bit too easy or maybe i learned something throu years of playing kingdom rush. Still i enjoyed playing. Plenty of heroes, twrs, easter eggs and fun things. Why bad review? 2 DLCs for 10 euros that bring two hours of gameplay (10 lvls total), when whole game normaly costs 16 euros (30 lvls). Greed is not good :)
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →As a long-time Kingdom Rush fan since the very first game, Kingdom Rush: Vengeance stands out as one of the most bold and refreshing entries in the entire franchise. Ironhide Game Studio took a risk by flipping the perspective, and it absolutely paid off. Instead of defending the kingdom, this time you step into the role of Vez’nan himself—the once-feared Dark Wizard whose story takes center stage. The game begins after Vez’nan escapes his imprisonment in the Rift of Cinders, following…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →cant recommend because to get all 126 stars you have to buy dlc-s . not cool at all.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Vengeance is the strongest entry in the series so far and, in my opinion, better than the previous games. It offers much more content, with a wide variety of stages and missions that keep the gameplay engaging. The roster of heroes is larger and more diverse, each bringing unique abilities and playstyles. Towers feel more versatile and can be combined creatively with special powers, adding real strategic depth. The game feels fresh while still keeping the classic charm and humor of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have been a fan of the Kingdom Rush games for quite some time and always loved the little Easter eggs that are in some of the stages of this game. The addition of different towers and heroes makes things very interesting.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The other KR games were better.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Verdict: Really fun tower defence game where you play as a bad guy. Recommended with no issue + Positives + + Steam achievements (90, both DLCs are required, 3 playthrough and some are grindy as hell) + Steam trading cards (3 drop, 6 to make a badge) + 31 maps to playthrough (16 main campaign, 5 mini campaigns afterwards) + 15 heroes to pick from (orcs, dark elves, dragons, goblins ...) + 20 towers to pick from (you preselect 5 for a map) + 30 upgrades to pick from (you get all of them by…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very creative. Love Playing as the villains. Most variety and playstyles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →ReVengeance mod turned this rather lackluster KR game into a fantastic challenge and a game worthy of its predecessors. Every hero, tower and enemy seems decently well balanced and if not, the updates and balance changes are rolled out from time to time. The game is now tough and if you want to defeat it at the highest difficulty, you need a pretty good understanding of different towers and heroes. Last waves are now properly nerve-racking and require focus. The mod also takes some of the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I write this review after 100%ing the game. When it first came out I was extremely hyped. I loved the idea of having more towers to choose from, but actually being limited to 5 variants per level instead of the typical 8. Also the twist of now being on the bad guys' side seemed really interesting. That's why I'm sad to say this game turned out to be my least favourite KR game. It's still pretty good, but in comparison to the other games, comes off a bit underwhelming. First of all: the lack…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →advertising that cant be disabled. constant crashes and a bug when alt tabbing. all previous games from the series didnt have these issues.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i dont like the tower system. it should 4 towers that upgrade to 2 or 3 new final towers like the first 3 games. but it is still a great game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not a great PC tower defence game. I loved previous ones but this one isn't great. Every lovel or two you're unlocking something new which gets very overwhelming very quickly. There's no way to speed up waves either. It feels like the game was made for mobile and then ported over to PC.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've been a huge fan of the Kingdom Rush series since I was tiny playing the original on my dad's phone. I was so startled to learn that there were more of these amazing games a few years ago, and even in frontiers and origins I was extremely pleased with the amount of customization and uniqueness they retained in the series. Then this absolute gem dropped, back in 2020, and I can firmly say that this is my favorite game out of the whole series. The graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kingdom Rush is a game of my childhood. Playing now as a villain and going all the way back to the king is so much fun
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A good Kingdom Rush game with varied towers that's fun to play with; the difficulty could be higher for a real challenge, but otherwise it's a very good game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My favorite Kingdom Rush game, heroes are so good, especially Isfet, and Vez'nan is my goat.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Of all the tower defense games in the Kingdom Rush series, Vengeance ended up being my favorite. As you probably already know, the main selling point of Vengeance is that they completely overhauled the tower system. Instead of being stuck with 4 towers for the whole game, you now get 16 towers, and can choose 5 of them to bring to each map. This is such a huge improvement, that I'm surprised it hasn't been done this way to begin with. (As a side note, I would like to see the older games…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another great tower defense game! I really liked how they changed how towers worked this time around. It felt fun to mix and match them to try different strategies. Still as imaginative as their previous games too.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the 4th game in the Kingdom Rush series and is honestly very controversial. Ironhide decided to drop the classic formula of 4 towers with 2 tier 4 upgrades and made it so that each tower only has a single upgrade path, but you get to pick 5 out of 22 towers. Personally I enjoy this system much more than the system of the original trilogy as it allows for that much more player agency over different stages and also doesn't lock us into using towers that are generally seen as bad. On the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I think this game is great my seconed fav in the series as it implements very cool features like how many towers there are and the way you can choose which ones you want to use to make great combo's and it's nice to play as the villains so it gives all your towers and heros a whole diffrent vibe plus the dlc's add even more i do wish there was more content in them but still
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →in my opinion this is the best addition for the series
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kingdom Rush Vengeance was an interesting sequel I was not expecting.. Playing as the bad guy and being able to choose a variety of multiple towers was something I was shocked about. I am glad that they took this route since this gives people a lot of ways to play the game since the older games only gave you 2 varieties once you level up a tower enough. The story itself was also pretty interesting, taking revenge on the heroes that you played on Frontiers.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I LOVE YOU SWAMPTHING!!! i think its my favourite kr but i absolutely hate the pirate campaign maybe it was burnout from beating the whole game on veteran months ago since i did it last
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Yet another fantastic addition to the Kingdom Rush franchise. Yet again Ironhide studios finds even more ways to incorporate new game mechanics and abilities to add more dimensions to their games. I love the twist on the classic Kingdom Rush storyline, and overall completely enjoyed Kingdom Rush Vengeance (except for that crow achievement that literally took 12 hours).
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked the other KR games, this one is just like those ones but with more tower variety and some new heros to fight the new layouts and enemies. Having 5 tower slots to pick for any level means you've got a good amount of possibilities for tower combos and strategies. I also enjoy the villain themed versions of all of the powerups and tower archetypes you know and love. If you've played any KR game, you know the drill. Grab it on sale if you aren't in any kind of rush to play it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Peak, I've enjoyed Pirate kings dls
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →the little easter eggs
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Another excellent TD game from Ironhide Game Studio, and they nailed it. This one is more about fun. As for the difficulty, the main campaign is easy for the most part, even on Impossible. The real challenge begins in the extra stages. Still, there’s no real suffering like there was in the first game or even in Origins. As I said before, the game is more about fun, so I hope you enjoy playing it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Have been playing games like this from mobile since early days, this is the first one on PC that i buy. So far its good and much easier compare to the first game when trying to complete it. I would recommend buying this game if it's on sale.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Nothing revolutionary but more solid Kingdom Rush content. The main difference from the previous games is instead of branching tower upgrades, towers are simpler but there are more of them and you design a "deck" of 5 towers per map, which is fun. My one complaint with that system is ideally the user would be able to edit the tower loadout in the selected map before the waves start, but editing that can only be done from the world map, which sometimes involves hopping between micro and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Boring and the worst game of the series. Enjoyed all the others.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →another great installment of the franchise, a little money hungry but still great fun.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not as good as the first three, too easy and lost a bit of the charm, but still good fun. Impossible difficulty is not as hard as it should be. Some of the towers/heroes feel a little overpowered.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has its issues, yes, but that won't stop me from loving it. Also, it's always a treat to see more of Vez'nan. And at least it's not Alliance.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i do like the concept of towers that are picked before map into loadout of 5 BUT games to easy the premium content is game breaking and SLOW this games takes its time and slug over to the end i heard about mods that correct those issues ... pricey but on discount its really good value
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just love this series of tower defense games, but new ones like this have a lot more towers and heroes, in that way it does make it easier than the old ones.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →uninspiring and unbalanced trite experience that ends as prematurely leaving you a bitter aftertaste that hadnt been present when you started
