positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Experienced on the Meta Quest 2 You can view my initial impressions review & gameplay here: https://youtu.be/BcbFdvH3lx8 If you enjoyed playing Kill It With Fire (Non-VR) then you're going to enjoy this VR port. It is a bit on the janky side though. However, it's just fun to be an agent of chaos in VR. You get to kill Spiders in a plethora of manners. You have silencers, shotguns, revolvers, flamethrowers, molotovs, explosives, bazookas, a frying pan, etc. You can set the whole world on fire…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →'Kill It With Fire' is actually the best game when we think about hunting and killing spiders in virtual reality. Spiders are not scary when they are monstrously large, they are scary when they are small and super fast, there is funnier in missing a small spider 100 times than shooting a giant spider, and funnier in this VR version of the game. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lmOK-wWhGTw
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Definition Of Jank Absolutely the jankiest VR port I ever had the misfortune to play. I shall start a petition to change definition of "jank" to "something resembling to or being even worseof an experience than Kill It Fire VR". Do The Locomotion I hardly feel queezy from VR, but this game made me understand what others feel who can't play VR for more then a minute without throwing up in a bucket strapped to their mouth. It feels like being drunk, poisoned and smacked in the head with a…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Broke my VR controller and almost broke my thumb punching a metal bookcase as I panicked when a spider came at me. Screamed in fear at least once per level. Would recommend, 11/10.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is an amazing game, it's really fun, with lots of levels and weapons and collectables in levels. Just one issue, when using an oculus quest 2 the hands are on top of the controllers instead of where your hands are, maybe this is on purpose but I think you should be able to change an offset in the settings to your preferences, and maybe add an option to be able to go to the main menu when in a level instead of having to finish it. Overall sick game, I love to play it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →couldnt handle this for over 8min so far due to my extreme arachnophobia, this is unironiclly the most horror horror game ive ever played cant wait to get back to it and force myself to stay in it somehow
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game made me get a irrational fear of spiders.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a really well done port into VR and most important the developer lets you rebind your controller inputs in the SteamVR controller settings (dunno if that was intentional). So as a left handed player I could rebind everything I needed. That's how it should be always done in VR, thank you for that option! It's also a fun game. Played the flat version back then on GamePass and hoped this might get VR. Now here we are and I like it. Controls still can feel a bit jank and glitching around when…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Janky controls (valve index), weird interactions, no key bindings that can be changed and I had to guess how to drop the weapons. It's not very well made tbh, worth of a game made at the start of mainstream VR in 2017. It's also the exact same maps and exact same game as the non-vr title, so nothing new except... VR. I've played through the 4 first maps and everything was the same, the challenges, etc. Disappointing. Will get a refund.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The Game itself is good. i 100% the game, got every weapon, battery etc. But i finished it in around 3 hours and the level Down the spider hole (which is a level in the non-VR version) is completely missing. this doesnt just include the weapons, batteries and equipment from that level but also the UV objective from the Non-vr Game. Also missing are the Halloween and Christmas events which add a few more weapons and other small stuff to the game. I hope they plan on adding them at somepoint…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Spiders.....SPIDERS EVERYWHERE. Also Jump Scares and music that ear rapes you and makes you panic.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I screamed so loud my roommates thought I was being murdered
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I killed it with fire...In VR. 20/10 game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tentative recommendation. I enjoyed the flat version and this is basically the same game. For whatever reason it's actually a little less "scary" to me in VR which is a little disappointing. Maybe it's that I feel totally invincible because it doesn't seem like the player can take damage. It's still the same over the top hi-jinks and cartoon violence, and an overall more engaging experience so far. The couple of "tools" I've used so far are definitely fun. The little flamethrower feels a…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Played the first level and some of the second. Pretty fun, kind of a chill game, goofy. I played on the Oculus Pro, no major issues. One issue was that my hands would quickly rubberband to the right every couple seconds. It would rubberband for half a second then snap back to the correct place. I am not sure what this is, maybe some kind of controller tracking error? I never had this issue with other games before. But that aside, it works well, has a good sense of humor, good indie feel…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Looked under desk for spider. Found spider. Spider jumped at me. ♥♥♥♥ pants. 9/10. Had to get new pants.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game despertley needs a teleport option rather than moving around with the joystick. The motion sickness is CRAZY. Even worse than the spiders.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →minor rant I wish they didn't cut content: Whole levels and The shoe (my beloved). Trying to grab something small from a distance often doesn't work and you have to wave your arm around a bit to find the precise angle. By the end of the game I would just walk over and pick stuff up as it was easier. Also having to store large items like the banners wouldn't register sometimes, collectables and objective notes should just just need to be picked up- not stored like ammo. Should be able to store…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have never been more and less afraid of spiders at the same time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is such a unique game, only amplified with VR enabled. Played on the Vive Pro headset with Valve Index controllers, I had a blast going through this game virtually. Mechanics are a bit different from the norm, but the pacing of the game is smooth and comfortable, complacent with the overall objective, which is to take your rage out on the accursed arachnids. I can only not recommend to arachnophobes or those without VR capability, everyone else should pick this up.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →very good fun, but this game gives me stomach, brain and eye pain very fast for some reason. the worst vr game for discomfort so far next to bethesda's failed vr attempts. as a guess i'd say 20-30 mins is my max time before i need to kill it with alt f4.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun and enjoyable like the orginal.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kill It With Fire VR is a VR port of a game of the same name. In it you go around killing Spiders and doing other tasks using a wide variety of weapons and tools. A pretty decent if short game but I felt that the "psychic hands" that allow you to grab objects from far away was very finicky and often wouldn't let me grab an object when I was very clearly pointing at it. If you enjoyed the base game I'd say this is worth it but if not maybe buy some other VR game instead.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →from getting the secret ending and getting all the weapons and driving insane..... YES! get this game if your not broke

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Kill It With Fire VR is a frantic and comedic virtual reality action game developed by Charm Games in collaboration with Casey Donnellan Games LLC and published by tinyBuild. The game takes the simple yet ridiculous premise of exterminating spiders and transforms it into a chaotic VR experience built around destruction, exploration, and exaggerated weaponry. Rather than presenting a realistic pest-control simulation, the game leans fully into absurdity, encouraging players to use increasingly…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I decided to buy this game on a sale because it was only 3 dollars, and this was a very good 3 dollars that I spent. I beat the whole game in 3 days with 8 hours in total and made a cool video out of it, I also got all of the achievements
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →spidres.............. scare
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's absolutely shocking to me that this game has so many good reviews. There was clearly very little effort put into making this an enjoyable vr experience. Also if you don't enjoy having constant looping music and stingers that are way too loud, too bad, the game has literally no option to adjust audio, keybinds, or any specific visual settings. If you played the original game, don't even bother in the slightest. The gameplay is the exact same, except this time it also physically exerts you.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →favorite VR port, has a few bugs, and for some reason the audio kept breaking. (The Fix was to go to AppData/Local/Kani/Saved/SaveGames, delete the audio settings save and turn off steam cloud.) but this game is great, has great mechanics, heavily improves interactions, and is overall just a great time. 7/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →its ok no too bad it has a slow start though it could be better 7 out of 10 i might play it again when i feel like it i got this about a year ago
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game so far is super fun. I mean you get a frickin' UZI and the best part is that everything is destructible. Love it, Buy it.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I love this game it was great fun i do recommend it but as i played on the Meta Quest 2. I did find that getting stuck in doorways or doors or not being able to pick things up correctly only sometimes was an issue like the shuriken for example would freak out making it disappear the moment i pick it up. Other than that this game was a blast had great fun killing spiders and finding new weapons and even ones i hadn't seen in the non-vr and i only notice the massive spider on the roof on the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Shoot spiders with a revolver and burn down your clients home. Whats not to love!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Works fine for me on the Quest 2 using cable link. Only odd thing I encounter is when crouching my left hand kinda disappears off into who knows where, but upon moving my hand around enough it comes back. Theres still some jank that needs polished but thats normal for most games. If you played the OG then this should be a solid choice.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →after an issue i had got fixed i can say this was a great experience like the non vr kill it with fire i the only problem i had was when i first started i became very tall but when i reopened the game it was fine after that i proceeded to 100% the game as i did with the non vr kill it with fire
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →it's just as great as the desktop version, it's not a cheap VR port, there are plenty of QoL features that make the game good for VR
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cheap Vr-port. Worst telekinesis I've seen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this before on my Nintendo Switch and the game is great just a couple things are different they are missing so half of the previous arsenal they have some weapon sizes are different one of the weapons the AK-74 was changes to a SMG some of the battery locations have changed but the add on of the fire hands and finger gun is great and they are missing the modifiers so they are missing the laser gun the laser sword the air horn and there is no DLC meaning the missing of the shoe the lawn…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The KIWF experience brought perfectly to VR. Its very fun and terrifying when it comes to the jumping spiders. I would recommend it, just wish it had *everything* from KIWF. Very well done VR port though, had lots of fun <3
