35 of 35 · most liked firsti have to say, that of all the games i have played that share this very same concept, and that been on a mobile gaming platform, playing this game in particular with a controller rather then tapping on a screen took me like 30 minutes to get use to it, but in no time at all natural progression finally kicked in and i was tapping away like a semi pro, and the funny thing about a game like this is, that it is so simple in design and game play but can be real challenging also, and is the reason…

The gameplay is straightforward: enemies approach from both sides and you must strike their weak points, head, torso, or legs, using corresponding buttons. The challenge escalates as enemies become more varied and aggressive testing your reflexes and precision. It's a game that doesn't overcomplicate things, offering a pure test of skill and focus. Ideal for short, intense sessions…

This one is press the button on the right time (like Guitar Hero and lookalikes). That been said, it's a great surprise to play it! The controllers answer pretty well, graphics are nice, hand drawn and matching the atmosphere. Monsters are very well designed, worthy of the Lovecrafian world (just the insects that made me confused haha). O.S.T. is ok, I just listened two songs, one of the main menu and one of…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Musashi vs Cthulhu is a 2D action game that's really easy to get into due to its easy-to-grasp (and super responsive) controls as well as the short and sweet tutorial, and yet, the game's incredibly skill-based, forcing you to react to what you see on the screen at an increasingly rapid pace. The game even spice things up by introducing new monsters at every (hidden) milestone and to keep you on your toes. Some enemies are able to teleport from one side to the other, while others may require…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a very fun and challenging experience. The devs included the right amount of tutorials. It starts slowly and then the challenge begins. It makes you wanna scream at your failures and pushes you towards being a better player (especially because of the leaderboards).

Did not think i was going to like it when i found out that you can't move around but after 10 minutes of playing the game i must say that i like it a lot. I will definitely be playing this game a lot. I suggest that this game should change it's steam deck compatibility listing from playable to steam deck verified as it plays great on the deck. I am happy that i discovered this game. I feel like i just discovered a hidden gem of games.

I mean you can't move forward or backwards, and you only have to defend yourself. And would've been nice if it was that easy right =) The monsters come from left and right and you have to defend yourself with the corresponding key sequences. That's it! As someone who's not that fast at responding to these kind…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was WAY more fun than I thought it would be based on appearances. The controls are very responsive and feel like a lot of fun. Devs, if youre reading this...PLEASE incorporate these controls and the left/right mechanics into a rhythm game in the future. DJ Musashi would be a ton of fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is gets super hard and its so fun! I really like that the more you play better you get, theres nothing to do with luck! The art is also nice, i really like how the background is always changes and its not the same thing over and over! Really fun!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The visuals are great, a real cthullu like atmosphere. Controls are easy and precise Really nice difficulty ramp, all the new enemies give somewhat of a new challenge to a gameplay you thought you had mastered. Each new personal record set seems like a new barrier for you to overcome. Additive
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very fun way to burn time. Simple mechanics, fun gameplay loop, and a great interactive scoring system. I only wish there was a way to get lives you lose back (every 100 kills or so, for example), cause rn it feels like the run is not worth committing to if you make a single mistake early on.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Highly addictive game with a simple concept where timing is crucial for high scores. I'm not very good 285 is my highest score thus far but I can't stop playing. I love the art style there's a lot going on fog, torches, hanging bodies, great attention to detail. It's a pity i die when I stare at the scenery. The audio is well done also music and ambient sounds really add a lot to the atmosphere. I'm having a great time with it and I can't wait for more content. Good job devs Recommend

unlabelledView post →I am absolutely awful at these style of games (more or less a rhythm game but without the music based triggers), but it's actually pretty fun and addictive. You'll get mad at yourself for a mess up that leads to ending your current streak and say "okay, one more try". Not bad at all.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →bought it on sale. just looked kinda interesting. what should i say. its harder than u might think. its fun. looks great. good soundtrack. its more like a rythm game tbh but i like it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Musashi vs Cthulhu takes a wonderfully bizarre idea and turns it into a focused arcade survival game where precision matters more than complicated mechanics. The premise places legendary swordsman Miyamoto Musashi against an endless collection of horrifying creatures influenced by Lovecraftian cosmic horror. Developed by Cyber Rhino Studios and published by QUByte Interactive, it embraces a straightforward approach rather than attempting to build a sprawling adventure around its unusual…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its a very simple game. enmies walk at you, press the button to kill them. but its pretty fun and has a crazy good looking art style

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is one of those incredible games that you just can't put down. I always think "just one more try!". Great stuff. The graphics are pretty and Musashi is very well animated. Super recommended!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →fun in small dosage, hard and sometimes a bit frustrating, but not enough to make you rage quit. Definitely recommended.

unlabelledView post →Absolutely incredible game. Love the concept, love the music, and it's very satisfying to take down hordes of enemies with a perfect combo. The controls are simple and easy to pick up, but it's a challenging game to master as the enemies get progressively more difficult and plentiful as the game goes on. It has the feel of an arcade game you'd spend all your quarters on trying to beat the high score, getting lost in the flow and accidentally playing all through the evening. Definitely worth it!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is very simple, so if you're looking for story don't look here. But the satisfaction of handling wave after wave of enemies only focusing on low, mid, and high attacks is great. You can zone out on this one.
