negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was my childhood games. im remember my brother playing with me now he was rest in peace.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Still haven't gotten to Meduna after like 90 hours 10/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A deep tactical strategy game with complex missions, diverse characters, and challenging gameplay that keeps players thinking and engaged for hours.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent simulator of Venezuela.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I regret paying for this piece of garbage. It's a re-imagining of the game mechanics of JA2 in the worst possible way. The AI is absurd. You will waste as much time looking for combat as you're in it. This AI model includes cowardice. Enemy models that withdraw, causing you, the player to invest way more time than you want to. JA2 didn't have super graphics, but it was perfectly balanced. This is a piece of something you don't want on your plate. This is actually, in my estimation,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Jagged Alliance 2 is a timeless classic in the tactical strategy genre. Despite being an old-school game, it feels like Baldur's Gate with guns, full of '80s and '90s action movie clichés that make it a masterpiece in its own right. Even years after its release, it holds up remarkably well due to its depth, complex gameplay mechanics, and strong character-driven narrative. The mix of turn-based combat and squad management is expertly balanced, making every mission feel strategic and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best tactical squad games of its time.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game (I am playing the "Classic" JA2, not wildfire) crashes very often on Win 11 (when entering sectors, in fights, when interacting with characters). I tried to run it directly from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ja2_wildfire\JA2Classic\ja2.exe in different compatibility modes, unfortunately this does not make a difference at all. At this point, there are no benefits to this purchase, it's actually only annoying to have spent time and money fo it. It's not playable. Also I…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →can't play on both windows 10/11 and linux platform
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The mercs’ banter had me in stitches! 😂 Then I got ambushed and spent 30 minutes plotting revenge. This game doesn’t hold your hand – and I love it for that.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you like 80s/90s action films and enjoy turn based games. This is the best.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jagged Alliance 2 - Wildfire is an ancient game from 2004. It's a whopping 19 years old at the time of this review. The game lacks support for any modern gaming display resolutions (or widescreen monitors), hasn't been modernised or updated to run smoothly on modern gaming PCs. Despite this lack of modernisation, it carries a pretty high price tag for such an ancient game. This seems to have been put on Steam as a nostalgia gouge. JA2 Wildfire is essentially just a paid mod for Jagged…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →JA2 Classic: base game, version 1.12 JA2 Gold: base game + Unfinished Business expansion (linear missions unrelated to JA2 storyline) Wildfire: standalone expansion Vanilla: ver 1.12 was the last official patch version released by the devs Stracciatella: updates the game to run on modern systems + fixes a few bugs. No changes to gameplay or content. Ver 1.13: unofficial fanmade patch. Adds a **lot** of gameplay changes, new items, options settings, etc. For players who enjoy a high level…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is how strategy games should be made. Unforgiving, deep, and rewarding. If you mess up, you die. Simple.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game has extremely stylish and probably a masterpiece. Still it gets a thumbs down for being to clumsy to control. It really needs a loyal remake with the same soul and spirit. Not the kind of soul and spirit that JA3 has, but one that keeps even the graphics. What it needs is UI improvements. As of now one cannot even de-select the characters. Scrolling is clumsy and the resolutions are old. The interface to control the mercenaries needs upgrades. It could learn a lot from Close Combat…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Its one of the best games ever, but on steam its broken. dont buy
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jagged Alliance 2 - Wildfire is an okay older turn-based tactics game. Get it super cheap or in a bundle
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Excellent , but keep save often ! Frequents bugs : 1 - Freeze while opponent turn . 2 - Reverse moon walk (all your character walk in reverse mode, and you can not explore the map. 3 - Invisible ennemy (last even if you save, you can only "heard" ennemy , but still same thing for speaking npc (non interactive npc are still visible) if you are stuck like this, make explose a door or a wall... and prepare for a fought fight because all ennemy will be surrounded you. (I use 12 mercs highly armed…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →awesome old school game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Jagged Alliance, at least the originals, were some fantastic Strategy RPGs with characters you cared about.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game on sale because I liked the first game in the series but doubt that I will finish it.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great for those that liked JA2 basic game. A lot more challenging that other JA titles, so not the best one to start adventure with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I dont know where i got that game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great game with nice plot. Lots of incredible characters and locations and wide range of game styles.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A lot of bugs a bit of nostalgia.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The game is different every time you play it but save often because its very buggy and hangs up often and needs to be restarted
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good tactical RTS but has compatibility issues on Windows 11
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →great game 1 of best ever but buggy
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game had bugs and are known. So it is ashame we can buy this. I lost 36h playing, starting all over cause I was constantly blocked due to those bug. DO NOT BUY Wildfire. I am starting now with JA3
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've played this for 20 years and I'm still learning new tactics. Incredible depth.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →prone position gives best accuracy. lay down and shoot.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →hit percentage lies. 10% hits, 99% misses. rng gods are cruel.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An overhaul of JA2 improving on it's features and difficulty, a more modern approach to the game wil lead you to JA 2 : 1.13 rather than Wildfire (although not incompatible if you look it up). Wildfire is vanilla with some quality of life improvments, (questionable) alterations, and will suffer the same flaws as the base game. The game is great at keeping the spirit of JA 2 classic but can be an harsh experience on badly advised players ... I mean look at the reviews, half of them were…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Tough game , you really need tactics ...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of the best turn based games of its time but you have to save a lot because its janky lol. Night ops and getting good at hitting towns at night helps make smg's more useful until you can get weapons with better range, don't forget to use the break lights by throwing them at the enemies. This game has a steep learning curve but is every bit as awesome as I remember it from launch.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My friend who i play CS:GO with said if i post a review on this game and it gets 200 likes and 200 awards that he will buy me a RTX 3060 and 2 kilos of canned ham. So i'm just gonna leave this here. Help a brotha

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Reminds me of Jagged Alliance 2:Wildfire. Played that as a kid and loved it. Loved being able to shoot in different positions.
unlabelledView post →Proper tactical brilliance! 🤓 Brutal, unforgiving, but oh-so-satisfying when you execute the perfect plan. Few games make you swear this much... in a good way. 😏
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute disgrace. Playing on a seconf difficulty. The enemies can hit heads with pistols on a range the top mercs in the game hit 1/20 tries.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →An absolute classic, glad to get the chance for Raven to save my life many times once again.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It wont load at the begining
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wildfire is my first Jagged Alliance series that I played and boy, did I choose the wrong one to start with. It was cheap and it was turn-based so I bought it without doing research. It turns out that this game is JA2 vanilla with Steroids. Initially, I chose Experienced mode (because I think I'm a seasoned turn-based player?) but instead, my whole team of mercenaries (all prone) got wiped out on the first landing on enemy territory. My mercs are behaving like stormtroopers. They just love to…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Great tactical game
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Just as hard as I remembered as a kid
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Why did the mercenary team choose Jagged Alliance: Wildfire 2? Because they heard it was the perfect game to "blaze" through tactical challenges and ignite a fire of strategic brilliance! 🔥🎮💥
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game but very hard to play. Good guns are hard to find in very beginning so Highly suggest you grab Reaper, Monk even if its for one day so you have the ammo and rifles they come with.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →video driver issues
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →After 25 years, still a great game to play.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game kept me entertained much longer than I expected. Fun gameplay and a good amount of replay value.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Doesn't work with windows 11. Changed my resolution and only displays 3/4 of the screen with no way to change the settings.
