Earth 2150 Trilogy
Developer Reality Pump Studios
Earth 2150, also known as Earth 2150: Escape from the Blue Planet, is a real-time strategy game, originally published in 2000 by SSI and Polish developer Reality Pump and a sequel to Earth 2140. 2150 was one of the first commercial full-3D games of its kind. A sequel, Earth 2160, was published in August 2005. The game also has two stand-alone expansion packs: Earth 2150: The Moon Project, and Earth 2150: Lost Souls. From Wikipedia (CC BY-SA 4.0)

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played this game a lot as a kid and loved it, it definitely needs a remaster
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game was ahead of its time in every way, few RTS's have repeated its brilliance. great campaign, great maps, great story, solid mechanics, and with three factions that all work differently but are still all well balanced. The only issue is getting it to work on modern equipment.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It took a lot of work to get this game to work on my computer and i did have help or i dont think i could have gotten it to work. This is a game i played many years ago and to this day i still love it, great music, fun factions to play (you only get 3) and the game play is just fun for me. A classic i recommend for anyone who likes strategy games, just expect to do some work for it to work on your computers is my only warning.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a review based 95% on the single player experience over quite a lot of years. The game is tricky to get running on modern day systems and equipment, but there is a community patch by InsideEARTH Operations out there which at least for me fixed all the issues. Short version: Go get the game and definetly enjoy the main part. Earth 2150 has a very unique "HQ-to-Mission-and-back"-system in it's campaign which I have never seen elsewhere. It also lets you design your own units a bit.…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Barely works on modern systems. It's a shame because this is an amazing game. Definitely deserves a remaster.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I'm not a fan of RTS, but alas, here I am giving Earth 2150 Trilogy a try. Starting from the menu, there's 3 different factions and video intros to them. Multiplayer is dead, since it's an old 2000s game so don't bother touching that. Skirmish mode is where I spent most of my time, and construct buildings. A unique feature is that you can customize the buildings to have names, anti-air stats, etc. so it's not completely bland. You can also customize the environment and terrains to have…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →launching nukes in this game is almost as good as launching them in real life.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →For me, Earth 2150 is one of the greatest RTS games ever. While the gameplay has its flaws - especially because of the pathfinding and rather stupid unit AI - it's still fun. There are many features you don't see often in other games: - the possibility to fight in underground tunnels you can dig yourself - temperature that influences unit values (laser heats up units faster if the temperature is hot) - A fully operational HQ that is connected to your mission maps by air transport (so…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Don't be fooled by the low amount of playtime i have on this account. I've spent countless hours playing both The Moon Project and Lost Souls before (on both CD and Steam) and i'm only reviewing this revision of the game cause those two are no longer available for purchase on Steam as of 2024. Earth 2150, the second installement of the Earth franchise is a mixed bag. This is a good strategy game set on a dystopian future where our planet is on its limit and we'll have to leave it soon, which…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ah, a forgotten classic of a now nearly dead genre. This game had a large amount of game mechanics that you'd think would eventually become very popular in the RTS genre, and they probably would... If this game didn't happen to come out at a time where a number of other absolutely amazing RTS games came out, such as Homeworld. The game is most similar to Warzone 2100, another game I'd recommend. Both games have a persistent campaign and modular units, with Earth 2150 even having a better…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Moon Project series Thanks to Steam an old popular combat game is updated and available for play again. I still have the original Moon Project 2150 game disks and instruction booklet. Along with a cd full of the maps I created in the game back then. By the way for those who don't know, maps you create need to be placed in the "Levels" folder to play them. This game is similar to the Red Alert and TA build and fight type. If you like those you'll want the Moon Project set too. Happy hunting..
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Earth 2150 Trilogy hasn't aged well and has multiple issues trying to get it to run. Not recommended
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →if u miss the rollcage stage days this one is for you!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Way ahead of its time and absolutely worth (re)playing. Back in 2000 when this came out I was still a kid. Technologically it was a marvel at the time but too difficult for me back then. Today, I'd say a lot of what we've seen in later RTS games was showcased in this game (3D graphics, customizable units, per-mission difficulty settings, modifiable terrain). The difficulty is manageable once you get the hang of it. Read the walkthroughs on the Internet and install Dgvoodoo2…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Pure nostalgia! Perfectly playable on a W10 machine with the 60fps mod installed for buttery smooth experience.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This classic strategy game is amazing! 🌍⚔️ The complex gameplay and detailed graphics make every battle intense and immersive. I love organizing my units and crafting different strategies. A must-play for RTS fans!
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It just doesn't work. It's a great game, I played tons of it back in the day. But it seems that this version won't work well in modern systems. Giving thumbs down just because I can't play it. Otherwise, it's a really good game with a really fun mechanic that's not very common: you can "design" your own units.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My friend I play with said that if I post a review about the game and it gets 200 likes and 100 rewards, he'll buy me a bag of chips and a RTX 4090. So I'll leave this here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Best of the earth 21 series.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A slightly buggy, but hidden gem of an RTS. Bugs are almost entirely due to it's age - you'll need to mess around with stuff to get it working nicely on modern systems and it's kind of a pain to do so, but totally worth it. My play time is probably closer to 120hrs if you count playing the original disc version as a kid. It's very dated, but still does a bunch of things I still haven't seen in modern RTS games and it's just awesome. The amount of playtime for the 3 campaigns alone is insane,…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My first RTS back in 2005! Played a lot and have much nostalgia for this game. It is a good game, apart from the nostalgia glasses, in the sense that Earth 2150 has some unique mechanics that no other RTS game implemented. You have a tunnel like system below the normal map, modular units and a nice atmosphere, 3 races to play and the campain is quite long, also with some interesting mechanics like the upgrades and resources being transversal to all missions. I wanted to relive those times…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolute Unc Slop, as they say. It does have some unique mechanics, and have somewhat decent, erm, atmosphere (quite literally) But man, this UI sucks, as well as unit pathfinding. You not so much fighting enemy as you do selection reticle and action queue.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very ahead of it's time
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The factions are balanced well. Rock paper scissors gameplay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It came out quite a few years ago and the graphics might be a bit of an eye sore. Newer systems might run into some trouble while trying to run it.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Not Recommended

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →My gambling addict friend said if I post a review on this game and it gets 150 likes and 50 Awards that he will buy me a case of beer and some vodka So im just gonna leave this here.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No one is going to read this comment so i'm just going to say that i'm gay.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I played the main game and its 1st expansion back when it originally came out and was mind blown how advanced it was. The amount of possibilities, ideas and for the time great graphics were simply remarkable. Everyone who likes RTS games or is a RTS developer should take a look and try out this (very) rough diamond. I made a full play-through during the last weeks and did not regret it for the most part. However, before you do the same be aware that this game is hard, even on average…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rating: 8.3/10 Earth 2150 Trilogy is a classic real-time strategy collection that combines three campaigns with deep base building, resource management, and large-scale futuristic warfare. Players command one of several unique factions, each featuring distinct technologies, units, and strategies, while adapting to dynamic battlefields and long-term campaign progression. Although its age is noticeable in the interface and controls, the trilogy still offers impressive strategic depth and…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game is perfect. Well nearly perfect. True gem from the times i still had hair lol. Great atmosphere, great concepts which are actually original and would love to see them in other games. Only thing bad about is that some missions are just....ragebaiting you. Like that one in the tunnels where you have to somehow make it unharmed to enemy´s base and destroy it while they block all your paths with ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of better units. Most underrated strategy game ever. Pure perfection. (btw dont let…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Earth 2150 Trilogy, developed by Reality Pump Studios and published by Topware Interactive and ACE, is a collection of classic real-time strategy titles that stands out not just for its scale, but for how boldly it experimented with the genre. Comprising Earth 2150: Escape from the Blue Planet, The Moon Project, and Lost Souls, the trilogy offers a cohesive yet evolving experience that emphasizes long-term planning, resource management, and systemic depth. Even years after its release, it…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i miss TopWare games. they had unique ideas.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →condensed nostalgia
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →One of if not my favourite RTS game ever made. It could use a bit of accessibility, or maybe a remaster, but the game design is so sophisticated and yet easy to understand. Gameplay is very methodical and deliberate in a perpetual arms race, unlike most other RTS which rely on tension and chaos.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun from the past. The core gameplay still holds up pretty well.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Game is fascinating by the option to customize units and buildings. It has a lot of mechs for UCS and LC is nice addon as 3rd faction.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Absolutely a gem. Resource and unit management that carries on from mission to mission, tunneling mechanics, unit building, interesting factions, and just a great atmosphere. Love it
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I have no clue how to run this game. I have tried multiple graphics settings and I get a black screen every time. I am able to see the opening intro but nothing beyond that point.
