Not so long ago, when castle defense games were very popular, it was, like, a golden rule. And naturally, Topware Interactive didn't want to miss an opportunity here. I mean, it's Topware. The guys are always ready to use any cheap trick to make some easy money. Remember when they started selling basic concept arts and laughably basic puzzles as “deluxe” content for some of…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds II: Castle Defense — Review Two Worlds II: Castle Defense is a decent attempt to mix RPG flavor with classic tower defense gameplay, but it doesn’t always succeed at keeping things engaging for long. It’s an interesting spin on the genre, yet it feels caught somewhere between being a side project and a full experience. On the positive side, the game deserves credit for trying something different. Using the Two Worlds setting gives it a unique charm, and the inclusion of familiar…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →No. I'm not sure what Topware was thinking when they released this, but no. A few units to which you can upgrade, you place them on circles for which you have no control over in terms for attacking a unit. I went to urinate and came back only to see the same group of individuals still fighting. You get a few unit selections and again they attack who they want and not what you want. You can upgrade them up four times in terms of health and strength (melee/mana purposes). You can teleport them…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know why this game was made, but hey at least i got some free cards to craft a badge.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →EDIT: Well, I managed to activate the key, after hours of 'hard work', phoning 4 times in Germany to Topware, searching on the web... Argh!!! BUT, at the end, you have to write to [email protected] and ask for your access code. So easy, if you know it... I really don't know 1) why they don't remove this ******* DRM 2) they don't clear say to ask them for activation, nor in the community discussions... Well, the game has an old but not bad graphic and a it's bit repetitive, but requires some…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →DO NOT BUY THIS GAME YOU CANNOT PLAY IT!!!!!!!!!! There is an activation required but the servers are not online nor does the phone number work. You will only have access to a "Demo" version.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A thrilling and strategic twist on the classic RPG formula, this standalone expansion masterfully blends tower defense mechanics with deep character progression. Building, upgrading, and defending your fortress against relentless waves of enemies is intensely satisfying, while the rich fantasy setting and lore provide a compelling backdrop. The HD visuals make every spell effect and siege battle pop with dramatic flair. A must-play for fans of tactical challenges and epic fantasy showdowns. 🏰⚔️
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →i might be biased because i loved the two worlds series, but this is pretty entertaining, is originally a bonus game if you buy two worlds velvet edition CD back then, so i understand negative review in steam, its nothing innovative on TD genre, because its just bonus game basically, giving add up lore for fans. is pretty basic TD there no learning curves at all. i played this game on my breaktime so its good game if you not playing it seriously.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This was not too bad a game as I like tower defence as a quick casual game genre. My main issue I have with this title is in it's activation requirements. Like most of you I have jumped from one computer to the next as I have upgraded or replaced computers. This usually starts with a complete refresh and format which leads to a re-stall of the game. After installing it wants to activate with the number first given on purchase from Steam. When I try to activate over the internet it tells me that…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too old and not really good. Nowadays Mobile games beat this game.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds II: Castle Defense is a well done strategic game, with Tower Defense elements and a good characters design. A nice choice for fans of the genre.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is just AWESOME game !!! Be sure to advise everyone to purchase and to the passage! Every self-respecting gamer must play and complete it! Just SUPER! I look forward to the next part !!!!!!! P.S. Many thanks to the developers for this masterpiece :*
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds II Castle Defense wasn’t much fun for me. It’s a defense strategy spin-off, so don’t go in expecting the RPG. I didn’t enjoy it enough to recommend it, and I’d skip this one.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Despite the criticism of the Two Worlds series, I like these games. First of all, because of the unique crafting system, when you simply combine identical items. And the world itself as a whole is interesting to explore. But the Castle Defense branch is difficult to unequivocally evaluate. It clearly doesn’t qualify as a full-fledged game, although it has a number of good ideas. On the plus side, we play as the titular villains, respectively, Gandohar and his henchman Sordakhon. Moreover, the…

When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds II Castle Defense offers a surprisingly deep take on the castle defense genre. you summon troops to defend against incoming waves of enemy orcs. Strategic unit placement, special powers, and thoughtful deployment create a challenging experience. I quit the game in middle, so I will give it a 5/10
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →At first sight it looks like a decent game that the fans of its genre could enjoy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a fun tower defense game but there are few aspects that spoils the experience. CONS: *Everytime I launch the game, I have to type the cd-key to play the game. *It's asking for my email login to play the full game otherwise I can only play the demo. Seriously?
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too new and really good. Nowadays Mobile games can't beat this game.

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I can't deny that Two Worlds II Castle Defense had me laughing right from the start. You know that little window that pops up on Steam when you start a game for the first time with a long registration code that Steam assures you you're going to need but that you never actually need? Two Worlds II Castle Defense needs it. But that's not enough security for a game like Two Worlds II Castle Defense. Oh, no. There's an additional registration step that can be completed via Internet or... get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Good game actually
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is the kind of game only Two Worlds fans could appreciate, maybe not even all of them or most or some...
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →- no innovations - few towers - only two upgrades There are very few towers for a tower defense and the whole game is dull and simple in design. It's a below-average tower defense game that was probably given the name “Two Worlds” in order to pick up a few more fans from the role-playing games at the time. Just play a better tower defense game. There are enough of them. (DE: - keine Innovationen - wenig Türme - nur zwei Upgrades Für eine Tower Defense gibt es sehr wenige Türme und das ganze…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →https://youtu.be/HRj-xS3b8jk Not quite tower defense combined with not quite real time strategy makes for a game that's not quite cohesive enough to hold player attention for long drawn out levels.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Two Worlds II Castle Defence, is a tower defence game it’s oppressively difficult and challenging the game is not that bad i got this with the two world bundle collection when it was on offer
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →enjoyable little defense game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →love defending castles bro
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →a very old tower defense game with "mobile" units. it's a interesting concept. i like this idea. the scope of the game is manageable. only in a sale, for tower defense junkies and collectors a recommendation.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I liked the artistic style and the soundtrack, however the game doesn't seem complete. I say this because, after the 5th battle the game says you're going to fight another one that's nowhere to be found on the map. The fights can be pretty tough especially on hard, so it's a challenging game and that's a good thing. You'll be forced to change your strategy to face stronger waves of enemies and be careful when the final boss appears. It's so short, it can be completed in 2-3 hours. I would…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Fun little game. Would recommend if you can get it for 1$ like I did. Not worth 10$.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Such a mixed bag. + Soundtrack (it uses Two Worlds 2 soundtrack which is great) + You can use many different strategies for each fight I guess. - Only 6 different troops... many flash tower defense games have minimum 6, usually 8 or more. - Game is absolutely unfinished. Story says there is going to be next level, but the game just ends... Game is missing at least 2 more levels to finish the story. Developers just dropped the game... - 10 levels only. 5 campaign, 5 arena challenges. Not…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Rating: 6.9/10 Two Worlds II Castle Defense is a hybrid strategy game that combines tower defense mechanics with real-time action and RPG elements. Players must defend a fortress against waves of enemies by building defenses, commanding heroes, and upgrading units while adapting their tactics to increasingly difficult battles. Although it offers an interesting twist on the Two Worlds universe, the gameplay can become repetitive and lacks the depth of dedicated tower defense titles. Still, its…
