Unbelievable how polished and intricate not only the merchant sim systems are, but also the tons of minigames, ship combat, and romance mechanics. Gameplay loop is easy to grasp so you're not a slave to RNG, and there's multiple angles you can exploit the economy to your advantage. Once the game gets more updates I'll definitely revisit and try different runs.

The music has a nice, nostalgic vibe and I hope they release the soundtrack so I can stop spending a save slot to hear the Virginia music whenever I want. I could dock the game ONE POINT for NOT ALLOWING me to give chocolate to THE BEST STATE-CHAN (South Carolina-chan, voiced by SLEEPY) but I'm sure that's on the way so all is forgiven there.

The sheer amount of negative events at sea is frustrating however quite immersive nonetheless. Solid 7/10 trading-dating game, will definitely be keeping my eyes on updates. I would like to have some sort of way to log prices in-game, to keep better track of prices in ports but... keeping a physical notepad is quite immersive too.

Its depth and complexity lend it nearly endless replayability and it comes at a very affordable price.
