Given the shitstorm that’s hit the teams behind The Alters, Magic: The Gathering, and Jurassic World Evolution 3 (among other titles), I’d be deeply intrigued to hear why someone would consider it a safe move to use generative AI on their project at this point - let alone go all-in on it.

Jurassic World Evolution 3 stands out for the way it treats the park not as a collection of enclosures but as a living territory whose balance depends on every small decision the player makes, from the moment the first habitat is placed, the game makes it clear that every element interacts with the others, terrain elevation affects movement patterns, the placement of water sources reshapes social behavior, vegetation density influences the way certain species position themselves, and weather…

The gameplay so far is amazing in my opinion, so smooth, even though my computer isnt even the reccomended, thought I was doomed. I love how frontier finally listened, and didnt make us buy the dr wu hybrids packs again, and we pretty much have all major dlcs from the past games in a base, but that being said, i cant wait to see what new dlcs will come, surely more hybrids. Loving how the animals I consulted on turned out in the Jurassic World Evolution 3. I worked on the early development, creating anatomy and behaviour artist reference sheets for some of the critters (below). Congrats to the extremly talented team at Frontier.

Seems great, amazing QoL changes over JWE2; unfortunately, however, it's being sold at a ridiculously extortionate price for how little new content it offers for veterans of the franchise. I requested a refund for this purchase, though I look forward to buying it again when it's on sale and more DLC is available.

Don't get me wrong, i like the game. But this is just the same game for a 3rd time, with less content somehow. It's also really funny that they act like they are doing everyone a huge favour by giving everyone a "free update every month" where they add dinosaurs to the game that the fanbase has already bought from the previous 2 games for free, like thankyou for not being scumbags and doing the decent thing by giving everyone dinosaurs they already bought once for free in the sequel to the…

It's too similar to the previous game. The animal AI is exactly the same, the park management too except for a couple of very, very small additions (e.g. the scientist skill impacting the park rating). The new additions like the improved terrain tools, breeding mechanics and modular buildings are well executed upgrades that add to the creative value of the vanilla game. This game mostly offers an alternative to the modding scene of its prequel (in my purely personal opinion, I'd say that…

Things I like: + Fully modular customization. Previous games were really limited in terms of building and decoration options, but this game gives you essentially full control over the visual aspects of your Park (think of planet zoo/coaster) + Juveniles make your park feel a lot more alive, and it's really cool that sexual dimorphism is visible between genders. + Better terrain options and customization, feels like you're able to be a lot more creative with elevation. + Campaign feels…

Very similar to the last game however more polished. Cant find much to complain for, will update with more playtime :) EDIT: Dinosaur go brrrrr very fun game love the new lighting effects and well optimised. And got cute little dryos, however with that being said the game is very easy on the base settings for better for worse. Means pressure is off of you and allows for your creativity to flow but restricts how much tension there is when things such as sabotages or dino escapes occur. There…

This comment is coming from someone who owns 2 on every system and loves dinosaurs with a passion! Plus i can't help but try to make a massive gated area with a style like arc where i add different dinos to see how they interact and survive! So seeing this game and the updates I'm truly exited to see how much further i can go with that with the addition of juveniles!! It is a shame but i expected more from this game. Here is why: - The system lacks the detailed, individual simulation found in games like Planet Zoo or the Two Point series. Instead of being entities with distinct needs and routines that you can observe and manage on an individual level, guests are primarily part of a larger demographic group. You manage their overall comfort and safety, but not their personal journey through the park. visitors are "not mechanically simulated at all" and…

I’m leaving this review due to the most recent DLC dropping and showing that they are breaking their word. Let me start by saying I hate feeling like I have to leave this review because the game is genuinely fun and mechanically the best of the three. I love the customization options and family units. I also love the deep water for the dinosaurs and new additions to the parks. Unfortunately, they have recently added dinosaurs that were part of a previous DLC in JWE 2 to a new DLC and increased…

Huge focus on breeding dinosaurs, which is what I'm here for. There's a much longer and more interesting campaign than in 2, which is also a big plus for me. And I'm happy following all my dinosaurs around for hours and trying to find the little ones in the undergrowth. I've seen comments saying they find things a bit TOO peaceful, but I'm loving it, since I got annoyed at the incessant sabotage in previous games. Let me build my park and breed my beautiful dinos in peace!

What you get here: - Basically the first two games prettied up - A new Breeding and family tree system - The ability to design custom buildings and share them via the Workshop - A new campaign In short, it’s the first two games with a “Breeding and Juveniles” DLC slapped onto it, paired with a new ability to customize buildings. And to be honest, if you expected much from the breeding system, you’ll be disappointed. it feels like it was made with the least effort possible. You place a nest…

Unfortunately, it took me about 8 hours to realize that this game is falsely advertised. It’s not a simulation — it’s essentially a map or park creation tool sold for $60, with features seemingly designed only to drive social media engagement. There’s absolutely no economic challenge. The financial balance is unrealistic, boring, and completely breaks immersion. I was genuinely excited to play a game with over 92% positive reviews, expecting to build a dinosaur park from scratch — earning…

So, here we are again. Jurassic World Evolution 3. So, is this game a worthy successor to both of the previous entries? I'll break down the good and the bad into separate sections and let you, dear reader, decide for yourself at the end whether its worth getting. I will of course give my own verdict as well. Positives 1. The game's technical performance and optimization is very good. Compared to JWE2, this game runs so much more smoothly. There are occasional frame hiccups, but it's honestly…

This is my first steam review. This game is a labour of love and it shows. Frontier have blown us away with, what I can honestly hand on heart say, is one of the best park simulators ever released. It's what people who played Jurassic Park Operation: Genesis dreamed of playing some day. The artwork; the illustrations, the models, the textures, the lighting, the music - everything. It's all so gorgeous. I hope the team are proud of themselves, they've made something that took my breath…

The game itself is good, a massive improvement over the first two games in terms of being an actual creative park building game, barring some major letdowns such as the cut and resold DLC species, Universal's meddling and the usual Frontier Developments shortcomings. There's plenty to be positive about, like the modular building and campaign, but in this review I'll be going over some of my complaints and overall criticisms, especially since this company has enough white knights defending it.…

The graphics are great, the designs of the dinosaurs are great and the weather effects are cool. The sound design is great, the sounds of the animals are really great to hear. If you've never played Evolution 1 or 2 this game will be perfect. I could see this being worth the price at 75% off This should of been DLC, it literally just adds some new cosmetics and you are paying just to be able to breed dinosaurs in parks. It's also somehow nearly the exact same game but with more of a grind as now you get to "unlock" bigger pieces of the map (that were previously free) by completing milestones.

This game is great but the recent DLC that brings recycled species from JWE2 DLCs behind a paywall that should have come as a free family units is not ok. I don't want Frontier to start doing this and I uninstalled the game for this reason. I have no plans to support this kind of behaviors to promote corporate greed.

Let me preface this by saying that I knew perfectly well what I was getting myself into when buying this game. The management aspects feels just as shallow as the predecessors, guests still are just cosmetic particle systems that dynamically pop in and out of existance instead of being actual guests like for example in planet zoo (which is made by the same company ffs) or citizens in cities skylines. But people are here for the dinosaurs anyway, right? And this time around the game promises…

I love Jurassic Park and dinosaurs. I played Evolution 1 and 2, and I even used to play Operation Genesis on my dad’s old computer. This game is good, the additions are interesting, and the baby dinosaurs are awesome, but honestly it feels more like a DLC to Evolution 2 than a brand new game. OMG! Where do I begin? For starters, everyone that worked on this game deserves a raise. For 25 years whenever a franchise I like moves from a grid type landscape system to an open 3D model, it's always terrible. It's poorly developed, buggy, overly complicated, just not good. This is the first sequel game I've ever played that finally did it right. It's intuitive and wonderfully fluid. I'm just amazed at how well the new terrain and building systems work. Its fun, and the new mechanics are great. HOWEVER, many aspects of the game are very lacking. Many of the JWE players, including me, have wanted to make a dinosaur ecosystem for ages. With breeding, we where excited that we would be able to do that. Come to the release of the game, and its LITERALLY impossible. The dinosaurs dont ever leave their territories to hunt, and when herbivores get scared, they run away, forget where they used to be, and die of starvation and lonelyness. The…

I played the first two games; and this game is a massive step up from the last. More options to make your enclosures pretty, better at teaching you mechanics, new and old dinosaurs, BABY DINOSAURS!! There are small issues here and there, like I found my veloceraptors can phase through solid rock UNLESS, you add ground INSIDE the rock. No biggie, easy fix. All in all, if you have a fancy flavor of autism and really like dinosaurs expect to take weeks off from life to play this game.

Very little has changed: the same characters return, there is a new campaign with more storms to add some challenge to park management, the addition of building maintenance, and a few new gadgets that bring minimal improvements to gameplay. If someone asked me which game to start with, I would confidently recommend Jurassic World Evolution 3. It is immersive, impressive, and clearly the most polished entry in the series. The game features a very well-designed interface and expanded functionality, and all other gameplay mechanics have been refined compared to the previous titles.

Runs really well and brings an expanded tool-kit compared to the previous games. Awesome!
