60 of 181 · most liked firstTrying to make your mediocre game more relevant? Why not add badgers? Gravity Badgers tries to copy & paste the success of Angry Birds Space but fails in every aspect. The levels are just too similar, there is no added value in the different badger characters (they all play the same) and the excitement of the falling blocks physics is completely missing. What it boils down to is, you try to get the one perfect shot that gets you all three glowing orbs and restart the level many, many times,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gravity Badgers is Angry Birds Space without the pigs. No, really. If you were to replace the license and swap toppling towers of blocks with flying into wormholes the two games would be near indiscernible, except one would be an oddly warped mobile classic and the other a bland, arguably broken clone. I don't actually take a huge offense that Gravity Badgers has more or less ripped all its components clean out of another game. It's that they've turned it into such a lifeless, frustrating…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It feels weird doing this for a game which I've actually gone through and completely beaten/gotten 100% of the achievements for, but I can't really recommend Gravity Badgers. Gravity Badgers is a simple puzzle game where you choose initial direction and velocity of your character, and then their trajectory will change based off of the type of planets you're near (some attracting, some repelling). You're attempting to direct your character to a warp at the end of the level, optionally picking…

The one mechanic revolves around launching your character at the perfect angle in each level to collect all 3 pickups and reach the…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Loving this game so far, very addictive trying to get all 3 energy cores in each level and the music reminds me of watching my favourite Cartoon shows like "Biker Mice from Mars" when I was a kid. Its kinda easy to start with but it gets really hard as it goes along, and the boss battles are epic, by far my favourite one was the giant space worm where you find yourself flying through the worms body destroying it from the inside in order to save your fellow Gravity Badger. Defiantly…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This game has two difficulties, toddler level and unplayable. In some levels, you just point at the first orb thing and the game plays itself. However, in other levels, it takes you ten hours to find the exactly perfect position. Fun mechanic and graphics ruined by terrible level design.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I got this for 49 cents, and there are trading cards you can sell, making it even cheaper. That being said, I still regret this purchase. It isn't even worth a quarter. Some say it's like Angry Birds Space. It's not. It's far, far worse. I love Angry Birds, and this game is nothing like it. You can't destroy anything. The whole point of the game is to grab three coin star things, then get to the warp hole/exit. It's not really an enjoyable process either. Many of the levels you can get…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Wanna make a bad game? The Unity engine heard your call and is here to help! This one features a painful main menu where every time you navigate out of a menu, the background music restarts. Needless to say it's not a very jolly experience. It feels a lot like the developers were trying to create a generic mobile phone Angry Birds clone, chose badgers as their cute mascots of the month, and then failed really hard at implementing the required object physics and thus ended up with a simple…

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I bought this game because it advertised an extra retail key that I planned to share with my cousin but I did not recieve any such key.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Being a game collector and having a soft spot for badgers (don't we all??) I just had to pick this title up. Gameplay is simple but with a ton of levels (140) and the 'puzzles' getting progressively harder, you will soon start scratching your head a little for those perfect scores. Each different colour planet has certain gravity effects (like magnets). The idea is to collect all the stars and land in the portal via one click of the mouse. Easier said then done. ;) Graphically speaking it's…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I don't know for whom this game was created, whether for office hamsters or for children. Poor dialog and plot quality. Tedious tutorials, and opening "cutscenes" each chapter. Hardcore difficulty that starts after 2nd chapter. Gameplay (which is almost one click and boring watching how your character will fly) have to fuss and get nervous cuz levels are made extremely crappy. All this reminds me a cheap parody of Angry Birds, where unlike this dummy clone, there were different characters with…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Audio & Graphic The soundtrack is reduced to the bone, and generally 30-60 seconds tracks looped endlessy; the sound effects aren't remarkable but who cares. The graphic is easy on the eye without trying to be anyhow amazing, the game is generally pleasant to look at. Gameplay & Longevity This is a puzzle game that plays around gravity, no more, no less. Difficulty scaling lacks of consistency: while the different chapters increase in difficulty, the levels of the chapters aren't always…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a decent mechanic I suppose, but once you see how to solve a level, it becomes a tedious process of guessing just which angle and how much force you need to launch yourself with. I got fed up with it around the end of the third chapter, and I won't be continuing.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A casual game with the shooting mechanics of Angry Birds and the gameplay idea of Cut the rope (collect 3 things and reach the exit). Overall it is a very easy game but some levels have a massive jump in difficulty and will take 20-30 tries or more compared to the 1-5 tries that most levels require. There are a lot of levels (140) and has a few boss battles that try to do things somewhat differently. Most achievements will come from getting 3 energy cores on all levels, and there are a few…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Very similar to angry birds. Think badger family in space. It's all about the gravity and your propulsion jets. Good, but not really original. Get it cheep.

negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The developers clearly tried their best to make a good game. It looks nice, the music is ok, the art is good, and the puzzles make sense... unfortunately it just isn't fun. Too easy and dreadfully, sleep-inducingly, boring.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →The only word I can use to describe this is mediocre. Gameplay-wise, it's very simplistic, pick up and play. Nothing felt interesting or engrossing, just... bland. At no point did I care about anything beyond "max score in this level, restarting as often as I need to", and that was more from habit than anything. Honestly, if I wanted a mindless simple game to sink hours into, I have better choices available. It's clearly a mobile game with its ultra-simplified interface and settings menu,…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bloody impulse buy - "physics based" and "badger" are irresistable to me. Actually alright game. Fire badgers Angry Birds style from A to B using gravity generating stuff.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gravity Badgerssssssssssssssssss! No.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a physics-based puzzle game, where you have a character with a jet-pack; you pull the cursor in a direction (Angry Birds style) and your badger will shoot off in the opposite direction, where his/her path will be determined by their initial trajectory, the gavitational affect of planets, and other objects (portals and tunnels) on the playfield, with the goal of shooting through a wormwhole. There are three orbs you can optionally try to pick up, for the perfectionists out there. At the…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I believe that all the people that left positive reviews of this game didn't complete it, because it's just a rage-inducing peace of sh*t bugfest. Pros: - None. Cons: - Sh*tty Angry Birds Space ripoff. - No quick restart option. - Almost complete lack of animations, seems likes all the budget went to drawing the fancy pause menu, which takes a second to float on the screen, adding to the rage when you want to restart a level. - Difficulty spikes up randomly, sometimes even if you figure…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →VIDEO REVIEW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=clf9WCv8PjY Gravity Badgers is a physics-based puzzle game. It was originally developed for smartphones in 2012 by Wales Interactive who, as you can tell by their name and the Welsh Dragon on their logo, are obviously from New Jersey. A bog-standard PC port was created in 2013, which is what I played for this review. Unfortunately, neither the port nor the original game live up to the majesty of a name like Gravity Badgers. STORY As is standard…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Bought it because I'm a badger Good game, people say it's like Angry Birds, but it is not, it is a little bit more complex. Story is lame. Music is lame. Graphics are quite good (Looks like a flash game tho) It helps you relax. And then rage because this game is either Fable III difficulty or Dark Souls difficulty. There's no point in between Boss fights are a good way to shake off the repetitive gameplay. Give it a shot if you can't find any other game to waste your money on (Must buy in…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →People mistaken this for Angry Birds clone. It is not. It stands on it's own feet. even though those feet are short hairy badger feet that dont take this game very far before becomming roadkill. To really sum up quickly what this game is really all about mechanically: You 'pull' a badger on the screen with your mouse and let go. Badger flies away in space and - hopefully - grabs 1-3 power cones during it's trip that is heavily affected by gravity. Every 25 something levels there is a boss…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Personal Rating: Not my preferred genre, bought on discount. Classic Rating: ★★★☆☆ A game which resembles the famous "Angry Birds", with a nice setting - spaaaaaaace! - and characters - badgers. I've almost reached the end and i've collected all the "Energy Cores" so far (Stage 4 - Level 80 or something), so the game is not too difficult even if some levels require a millimetric precision to complete them. There's not much else to say about Gravity Badgers, can be fun and undemanding but don't…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Too much KIDs LEVEL of tutorial. I am laughing so much that i bought this for 0,49€ and it was still not worth it X) 1/10
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Awesome and cute game =3 It's very easy at start then getting harder later. And I love the main character, Bayback! He's cute ;) Also it's a furry game! If you like furry, this game is right for you ^_^
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a physics-based "slingshot" game (mimicking angry birds-esque gameplay) that comes together horribly. The actual physics used is so poor, that it's merely a guessing game and repeated tries for any given level. The "story" and writing is worthy of being removed from the game, as it does nothing but hinder the experience. It's as if a middle schooler designed the "plot." Any sort of strategy is taken away by the shimmering stars you are to collect, which direct you exactly where to…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's a mobile port of an angry birds clone. The game is stupidly frustrating, mostly trial and error until you find the right angle to launch your badger. I'm very tempted to make this a negative review and I don't think the game is worth the full $5 asking price. But it's often on sale and I got this in a bundle for no extra cost. It's an OK game for $1 or less if you like dumb angry birds clones. Steam needs a neutral option, it's not borked enough for me to thumbs down, but I don't really…
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's alright. Don't expect a masterpiece that surpasses Angry Birds. Considering the price level, you get what you pay for. Though, I wouldn't recommend for achievement hunting since some of the achievements require single shot accuracy.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh ruh.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Simple iPad game where you Angry Birds-style flick a badger towards a goal post, avoiding obstacles and picking up yellow circles. Earlier levels are universally solved by flicking your badger (hehehe) toward the nearest yellow circle and watching as the level completes itself. Later levels involve you doing this but requiring pixel-perfect accuracy with regards to trajectory and launch strength. Tedious, not very fun. The music is also awful. A real shame, because the concept art is amazing!

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →It's been an hour, the theme tune is still funny.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →This is a mobile ported physics puzzle game that rips off the Angry Birds catapult mechanic, except the goal is to fling badgers around various "space" themed obstacles to get to the goal point. Mobile games simply don't belong on Steam and this is no exception. Apart from the very lame mobile tier gameplay (yawn), once more we see greedy mobile devs trying to screw over PC gamers. On Steam, this is $5 USD, on app stores, it's completely free. Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →❤️❤️❤️I love this game❤️❤️❤️
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Gravity Badgers is nothing more than just average mobile game ported to PC. I can finish few levels of this game, but it's not something that would hook me on PC for long time. The Steam version at least have achievements, but it's harder to play without touch screen.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute, but sadly that's not enough! This game is fast described. You are a Space-Badger, trying to free his companions and family out of the hands of villainous foes. The control of the game is simple, yet hard to master, sometimes a bit too hard. Sometimes the level design is flawed and you'll have to take your chances with luck, not skill. I liked the idea of the game, but the game itself is a bit disappointing. And it might get boring very fast, I now let it rest for a while, just…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Cute. Total knock off Upset Avians Exoplanet and a clear mobile port, but it has nice art and a great theme song. Fun distraction. Not too hard either. Great kids game.
positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Well... This game sucks a lot. The SFX sucks, the graphics are ugly, the story is boring, the music is ♥♥♥♥♥♥... Don't buy this game... Not even if it's 0.50 cents.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →Hideously bad and lazily designed. Requires no skill, just a modicum of luck. Do not buy.
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →I've heard "Angry Birds" thrown around when describing Gravity Badgers, but it really isn't. The similarities end at the slightshot pullback that you do to start every level (and gravity fields, in the case of Angry Birds Space). Gravity Badgers mostly involves you flinging your badger to the exit, picking up to 3 energy cores along the way which decides how many stars you get for the level, after deducting one for each failed attempt. This makes it that there is often very little you can do…
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →A distant cousin of Angry Birds that somehow manages to take up 700MB of disk space despite being a port of a cell phone app. The physics are... questionable at best, the story is sub-moronic (and as a bonus, you either have to suffer through the text crawl or skip the dialogue entirely), and the gameplay is repetitive and poorly thought-out (why are there "lives" when dying is exactly the same as clicking "restart level" from the menu? Do people actually try to collect the tokens one at a…

positive · reviewer's own thumbsView post →just no not fun not rewarding not even a good time killer if you think you are happy too much, play this, it will make you angry quickly
negative · reviewer's own thumbsView post →If you liked Angry Birds but found that the aspect of smashing things made it too exciting, then this coma-inducing clone might be up your alley. Gravity Badgers is very literally a version of Angry Birds Space where instead of smashing through structures to pop pigs, you merely need to slingshot from point A to point B. Obstacles and the gravity fields of planets scattered throughout the levels complicate the task, but the same banal trial and error flinging that got you through Angry Birds…
